(AllHipHop News) Jacques “Travis Scott” Webster has pleaded guilty to a disorderly conduct charge stemming from a 2017 incident at a concert in Arkansas, according to reports. Misdemeanor charges of inciting a riot and endangering the welfare of a minor were dismissed.

The case was apparently resolved in January. Scott’s attorney, Doug Norwood, believes the disorderly conduct charge can be expunged from the rapper’s record at some point.

“They overcharged him,” stated Norwood. “They tried to get him for inciting a riot. The video did not show any of that.”

Norwood also claimed Scott paid $640 in court costs and $6,825 to two people that were injured at the concert. Police believed multiple victims were hurt when Scott allegedly “encouraged people to rush the stage.”

(AllHipHop News) Rap star Cassidy is being sought by cops after he skipped out of court date in relation to a marijuana arrest last year.

The rapper was arrested in Jersey City, New Jersey after police officers walked up on him smoking a blunt with a woman in his car.

As a result, the rapper was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and given a court date.

Cassidy blew off that date earlier this week, resulting in an arrest warrant being issued for the “Hotel” hitmaker.

Over on his Instagram, Cassidy made no mention of the legal issues, and instead celebrated winning a huge amount of money after betting on the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 52.

(AllHipHop News) Jay-Z has invested his money into a new billion dollar financial platform.

The rap star’s venture capital fund Arrive has invested an undisclosed amount in Robinhood, which teaches its users how to play the stock market.

The company, which was founded by entrepreneurs Vlad Tenev and Baiju Bhatt, already has a $1.3 billion-dollar valuation, along with 3 million users and counting.

“We believe in Baiju and Vlad’s mission to make the financial markets more accessible and cost-efficient for customers of all sizes,” Neil Sirni, president of Arrive told AllHipHop.com in a statement. “Robinhood will have our support as they execute the long-term vision of their company.”

Just last week, the company announced Robinhood Crypto, which will bring commission-free trading of Bitcoin and Ether to the Robinhood platform. The company has won both an Apple Design Award and a Google Material Design Award.

Jay-Z launched Arrive back in March, with the intention helping various stage companies grow their businesses.

Robinhood is Arrive’s third investment. Arrive has also invested in the French audio technology company, Devialet, and the location sharing platform, InSite Applications, which is scheduled to launch in the first half of 2018.

In addition to Arrive and companies like Roc Nation and Tidal Jay-Z also holds investments in Armand de Brignac champagne, Jetsmarter, 40/40 Club, The Spotted Pig, and a stake and Steve Stoute’s Translation Marketing.

(AllHipHop News) Sean “Diddy” Combs is asking a judge to enforce a ruling that will allow him to pay off a photographer in an ongoing lawsuit.

A man named Gustavo Garces sued Diddy in 2012 after the Bad Boy mogul’s hired muscle beat up the photographer for taking pictures of him, in front of a Miami nightclub on New Year’s Eve of 2011.

Garces claims one of Diddy’s bodyguards “repeatedly” punched him “in and around his ribs,” while the other man put Garces in a headlock, allowing the “vicious attack” to continue.

Diddy and Garces went to court over the issue and eventually agreed to a settlement amount of $35,000 to close the case, if Garces agreed to drop the lawsuit against the bodyguards and Diddy’s insurance company.

In the latest lawsuit regarding the beatdown, Diddy is claiming the photographer is stalling and refusing to sign the necessary paperwork, and he wants a judge to order Gustavo Garces to accept the $35,000 payment immediately.

(AllHipHop News) Popular comics/podcast hosts Desus Nice & The Kid Mero have added a run of dates in New York to their upcoming tour.

The “Desus & Mero Do NYC Tour” kicks off in April and will see the late night TV hosts travel through all five boroughs in New York.

The two men will host special guests during a live version of their comedic series “Desus & Mero” on Viceland.

“Wow my pals I struggled mightily to hit every boro in my graffiti days but due to cops and beef I was unable to,” The Kid Mero said. “Now I get to live my dream of going all city while getting paid and having a ridiculous rider!!! Can’t wait to run around NYC bringing joy and mirth to the hive.”

The pair’s trek through New York City kicks off on April 8th and runs through the 15th of the month.

The brother of the rap star’s fiancee was shot dead during a reported argument at a Bronx, New York apartment on Sunday.

Although early reports suggested Tuck was there to buy marijuana, DJ Khaled and his family issued a statement saying Tuck was there watching a SuperBowl party.

Someone allegedly attempted to rob the party Jonathan Tuck was shot in the back of the head.

“Our family appreciates the condolences from loved ones and friends … we are requesting privacy during this difficult time,” DJ Khaled and Nicole said in a joint statement.

Police are currently questioning a 34-year-old man in relation to the shooting.

The singer’s 2011 album 4 has now hit the one billion mark on the streaming service, seven years after its release.

On Monday, Beyonce’s critically acclaimed studio album 4 joined I Am… Sasha Fierce and Beyonce as one of the singer’s three albums to have a collected a billion streams each on the service.

The 36-year-old, who is the only musician to have had their first six albums debut at Number 1 in the U.S. charts, is now the first woman to have three of her albums surpass one billion Spotify streams.

According to stats, 4’s most popular tracks include “Run the World (Girls)” and “Love On Top” which together accounts for a huge 400 million streams.

The singer’s achievement is even more impressive as she is a part-owner of husband Jay-Z’s Tidal streaming service, which is where her 2016 album Lemonade, which has yet to be added to Spotify, was released first.

She withheld Beyonce from the streaming site, where she has over 31 million monthly listeners, for almost a year.

Tidal has a 42 million song catalog and is available in 52 countries, but is currently much less widely used than services from Spotify and Apple.

In 2016, the singer was the highest-paid musician in the world, earning $62.5 million.

Only $1.9 million of her income came from streaming, the majority was earned via her Formation World Tour.

(AllHipHop News) China Mac, a popular underground rapper, was charged with crimes after he was among roughly 60 people arrested with real and fake guns in New York City.

The bust happened on a building on the Lower East Side resulting in the arrest of China Mac and his crew. They were charged with trespassing after somebody climbed on a public restroom to film a music video for the rapper, real name Raymond Yu.

Police interrupted the shoot about 6:15 pm Saturday, causing some of the people to flee the authorities from the Baruch Houses in Manhattan, one report.

Police found two imitation rifles and one real gun on the scene.

(AllHipHop News) Jimmy “Peewee Roscoe” Winfrey was convicted of firing at Lil Wayne’s tour bus in April 2015. After pleading guilty to six charges, the associate of Birdman and Young Thug was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Winfrey appealed the sentence and conviction by claiming his original judge was too involved in his plea negotiations making that plea agreement “involuntary.” The AJC reports the case is now headed to the Georgia Supreme Court.

Authorities believe Winfrey was driving a white Camaro when he shot at the tour bus traveling on I-285. The attack was allegedly connected to a Bloods Gang dispute and meant to help Peewee gain “street cred.”

No one was injured during the shooting. The bus supposedly suffered over $20,000 worth of damage.
