(AllHipHop News) Dave East is set to release the third installment in his Karma series following 2017’s Karma and 2018’s Karma 2. Last night, the Harlem-bred emcee/actor posted the upcoming project’s cover art on his Twitter and Instagram accounts.
For Karma 3: (Thoughts Of A Menace), East incorporated images of Ermias “Nipsey Hussle” Asghedom and Bashar “Pop Smoke” Jackson into the artwork. Asghedom was shot and killed in March 2019. Jackson was murdered in February of this year.
Dave East honored Nipsey Hussle on his 2019 album Survival. That LP hosted a track titled “The Marathon Continues.” Apparently, East and Nip were making plans to create a collaborative project prior to his death.
“We were six songs in. We were planning a tour and all of that. F*ck rap. I’m going to keep it 100. That was my n*gga,” said East last October. “Anything we did together or anytime I had to be around that n*gga, I cherish it.”
The NYC native was also one of the many Hip Hop artists to publicly mourn Pop Smoke. Before the Brooklyn newcomer’s passing, Dave East and Kiing Shooter released a remix to Pop’s breakout hit “Welcome To The Party.”
Lil Baby loaded 20 tracks onto My Turn. The Atlanta-raised rapper recruited Gunna, 42 Dugg, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Moneybagg Yo, Young Thug, and Rylo Rodriguez for the project.
Surprisingly, Lil Baby did not have any of his fellow Quality Control Music stars show up on his sophomore studio LP. He was recently asked why acts like Quavo, Offset, Takeoff, City Girls, and Lil Yachty were omitted from My Turn.
“Damn, that’s crazy,” responded Lil Baby when The Breakfast Club‘s Charlamagne Tha God questioned him about the lack of Quality Control artists on his album.
Baby revealed he had a song with City Girls but the group convinced QC co-founder Pierre “Pee” Thomas to give that collaboration to the female duo. He also talked about his musical relationship with Migos and Yachty.
“I f*ck with them strong. I had a song with them on it and it’s a hit, but I let them have the song,” said Baby about City Girls’ Yung Miami and JT. “Me and Migos don’t really be making music. They be gone, I be gone. We really don’t be sending each other sh*t. Me and Quavo were around each other the other day and made a song, but with somebody else. So I didn’t put that on my album.”
The 25-year-old hitmaker added, “Yachty’s my man. Shout out to Yachty. He was like the first person at QC to grab me under his wing on some rap sh*t. Now I’m gone all the time, so he kinda feels like I don’t really f*ck with him like that, but I really do. “
Lil Baby also explained, “I f*ck with Takeoff and Offset. It’s just they ain’t never really been on my tapes. They’re my mans and them, we on the same label, but we don’t really be making music together like that. They be in their vibe, I be in my vibe.”

(AllHipHop News) Travis Scott, Frank Ocean, and Rage Against The Machine were announced as the headliners for the 2020 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. However, the Indio, California event may not take place as scheduled.
According to reports, organizers are considering moving the festival from April 10-12 and April 17-19 to October 9-11 and October 16-18. The lineup is said to be remaining the same. An official decision is expected to be made within the next 48 hours.
Scoop: A source familiar with the arrangements tells me that the Coachella festival will be postponed due to Coronavirus concerns and moved to the weekends of October 9 and 16.
As of now, the same lineup is confirmed to perform.
The possible move to October is in response to the growing coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Over 4,000 people have died worldwide from the disease. The death toll in the United States has reached 26 with more than 700 cases confirmed.
Riverside County, the location of Coachella, recently declared a public health emergency after confirming its first case of COVID-19. California Governor Gavin Newsom officially declared a state of emergency for the entire state.
Last week, the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas was canceled due to concerns about coronavirus. Miami’s Winter Music Conference and Ultra Music Festival were canceled as well.
YSN Flow is 16 and living the life as a rapper, although he applies his own pressure.
With over 81 million streams and counting, the Ohio recording artist went viral after the release of ”Want Beef” — building a real organic fanbase beyond just his hometown of Cleveland Heights.
Truly one of the youngest in the industry as of today, YSN Flow, real name Kamron Ford, sees himself at the top of the top.
Killing it independently with the help of his momager, YSN Flow describes himself as “the f##king greatest. For real for real, I just want to make a name and inspire the youth.”
With his name growing daily, Ford plans on finishing his high school curriculum online. As far as being a teenager, the studio is his playground — and he wouldn’t have it any other way. Most recently, he released the remix to Roddy Ricch’s “The Box,” doing the record justice just like Roddy.
YSN Flow’s#### video ‘Got Beef’ has received over 13 million Youtube views. Along with over 15 Million Spotify streams this year. He has already gained the attention of DaBaby, NLE Choppa & more, while quickly setting the bar for buzzing young rappers.
AllHipHop: For those who don’t know, who is YSN Flow?
YSN Flow: The f##king greatest. I’m 16 years old, just turned 16. I’m from Cleveland Heights, Ohio. For real for real, I just want to make a name and inspire the youth.
AllHipHop: What’d you do for your 16th birthday?
YSN Flow: I had a little party. I got a car. I got a Hellcat. I got it for myself.
AllHipHop: Being only 16, how are you balancing a rap career & being a kid?
YSN Flow: I’m not really a kid anymore. I’m a grown man with responsibilities.
AllHipHop: Being from Cleveland Heights, what were you seeing growing up?
YSN Flow: Poverty. Struggle. Hate. Envy. I did what I had to do.
AllHipHop: Who were your influences growing up?
YSN Flow: I didn’t really have any influences. I didn’t really look up to anybody for real. Not until 2018, then it was 6ix9ine for a little bit. Just his marketing strategy, how smart he was. But I don’t really f##k with him anymore.
AllHipHop: How did you build a following for yourself?
YSN Flow: I was in rappers’ comments. Everyday, just going in rappers’ comments. “Name a 15-year-old rapper better than me,” I’d comment on it every time, every time a celebrity posted.
AllHipHop: Who put you on?
YSN Flow: My biggest one was NLE Choppa. I commented on his, the comment got 3,000 likes. I dropped a video that day and it started blowing up. “Want Beef,” it’s at 15.4 million views. I didn’t think it would blow up. Everybody f##ks with it, I just did it. I don’t really f##k with a lot of the music I make. I don’t know why.
AllHipHop: Can you bring us back to that studio session?
YSN Flow: It was December 2018. I wrote the song, then recorded it on the computer in my closet. I called my friend like “bruh, I got this hard ass song. I’m trying to get BaeBae Savo on it.” A couple days later, I got in contact with Savo and he told me $250 for the feature. I went up to the stu, we did it. I didn’t drop it until April, so 6 months later almost. I had it for 5 months, but I guess everything happens for a reason.
AllHipHop: Best memory from the video shoot?
YSN Flow: Big ass d##k on the gun. [chuckles]
AllHipHop: Are you worried about promoting guns at all in your music?
YSN Flow: Nah yeah, I don’t do that s##t no more. There’s no point for real. That s##t doesn’t mean anything. Posing with a gun on the internet doesn’t mean s##t for real, that doesn’t mean your gangster at all.
AllHipHop: How important is it to come to LA as an up and coming artist?
YSN Flow: I look at it as a blessing for real. Everything happens for a reason. I’m out here for a reason.
AllHipHop: Favorite part about the West Coast?
YSN Flow: The weather. I f##king hate the snow in Ohio. It’s snowing right now, bad as f##k.
AllHipHop: When I think of Cleveland, I think of MGK. Who did you look up to?
YSN Flow: I never really looked up to nobody out of Cleveland. There’s nobody out there to look up to, you feel me? It’s just different. There are some people you could look up to, but not a lot. A lot of n##gas be fake and weird. They only f##k with the n##ga who’s blowing.
AllHipHop: Who’s blowing right now?
YSN Flow: Nobody in Cleveland right now.
Homies: Doe Boy. Kid Cudi is one of the two people to really make it huge.
YSN Flow: Bruh, f##k that n##ga. Kid Cudi’s not huge bruh. I’m not saying it like that, I’ve never listened to one of his songs. n##gas don’t know him for real. You know Kid Cudi? I never really listened to a song by Kid Cudi, no disrespect.
AllHipHop: What ‘s the inspiration behind your name?
YSN Flow: I don’t even remember to be honest. I just remember I used to be K Flow, then Lil Flow, then YSN Flow. Young Successful n##gas.
AllHipHop: You just dropped the visual for “Dirt.” What do you want fans to get from this one?
YSN Flow: Just the background. Dirt, young n##ga from the mud and the s##t that’s going on in my life.
AllHipHop: Why don’t you trust people?
YSN Flow: N##gas fake. I don’t trust n##gas for real, that’s why I need someone close to me.
AllHipHop: What is it you want fans to get from your story?
YSN Flow: Do whatever you want for real. Don’t give a f##k about what n##gas have to say.
AllHipHop: What are some goals yourself as an artist at this point of your career?
YSN Flow: Hit Billboard for sure. Get a Platinum track, and just last.
AllHipHop: How do you plan on lasting?
YSN Flow: Putting out good music. Something people want to hear. Whatever’s going to catch the ear [snaps], that’s all it is. Good music never flops.
AllHipHop: Saw your post that said “family first.” What does mom think of this?
YSN Flow: She‘s supportive all the way. She does whatever needs to be done. She takes care of most of the s##t for me. I don’t really have to do nothing. Momager.
AllHipHop: What’s a normal day in the life? Walk us through.
YSN Flow: At home, it’s easy. I don’t really do s##t when I’m in Ohio. But I go out of the state every week, every other week. When I go out of state, I don’t sleep for 2 days. I’ll be in the studio all night with him [points to friend].
AllHipHop: 3 things you need in the studio?
YSN Flow: Red Bull, blunt, Adderall.
AllHipHop: Most played artist on your phone?
YSN Flow: I don’t really listen to music for real. I really listen to Rod Wave. Polo G. I just listen to myself.
AllHipHop: What’s the best encounter you had with a fan?
YSN Flow: I went to this school one time, these kids were crying because they saw me.
AllHipHop: Dream collab?
YSN Flow: No I don’t really trip about collabing with n##gas anymore. If it happens, it happens.
AllHipHop: How’s it feel to be this lit at this young age?
YSN Flow: I don’t be feeling it for real. I really don’t, I get down on myself a lot.
AllHipHop: Anything else you want to let us know?
YSN Flow: I just dropped “The Box Remix.” Mixtape coming at the end of March. Follow me on Instagram @YSNFlow. That’s it.
(AllHipHop News) Nas is arguably one of the greatest rappers to ever touch the mic.
And so… Raja Kumari, the first female rapper to sign with his label, Mass Appeal India should be honored to get under his lyrical wing.
Or should she?
While Nas is definitely a legend, Kumari is has done some legendary stuff herself. By blending her Indian roots with her Cali-girl swag, this Indian-American is already on the way to change the course of time.
An accomplished songwriter, Kumari is a Grammy-nominated artist, who worked on Iggy Azalea’s#### song “Change Your Life” ft. T.I., Fall Out Boy’s the 4x-Platinum “Centuries,” Fifth Harmony, and Gwen Stefani. Last year, she released a doc about her life entitled, “Raja Kumari: So Far.”
In the documentary, she talks about the challenges that she has faced being an Indian-American songwriter in Los Angeles. But those are just a few things in her grind:
She is a series judge and mentor on “MTV Hustle,” India’s first rap-reality show. She is also the host of a new show on REVOLT TV called “Internationally Known,” where she will be showcasing the dopest emcees from her homeland to the world.
As if you need one more thing to add to her head-spinning resume, she is one of the global faces of MAC Cosmetics.
When the “Illmatic” rapper talked about her signing to Mass Appeal India’s roster, he said, “When I first met Raja, I knew she was someone the world needs to hear. Her presence exudes confidence and individuality — a true artist with global appeal. We’re thrilled to have her on the team as the first lady of Mass Appeal India.”
Kumari’s first released single through Mass Appeal India will be “NRI,” which will drop in April, with a full-length EP to follow.
Kumari will also drop “Goddess,” a new track collaboration with Krewella and NERVO to celebrate Women’s History Month on Sunday.
However, while lawyers for the former “Empire” star argued in an emergency petition that a judge overstepped his authority and misinterpreted the law when he ordered the appointment of a special prosecutor, Illinois Supreme Court refused to throw out the charges.
While the actor failed to get the special prosecutor removed from the case, Chicago’s State Attorney, Kim Foxx, angrily defended her decision to initially drop charges, saying his “low-level offense” was just a “prank.”
“This issue with Smollett… excuse my language, it’s bulls##t,” Foxx said during a recent appearance on The Ben Joravsky Show. “We have an abysmal homicide clearance rate; we have horrible violence; and (the attention is on) this case about a low-level offense with an actor who pulled a prank.”
She added: “I’m not saying it wasn’t offensive; I’m not saying it wasn’t something that garnered our attention; but a year later, when I’m sitting with parents who are mourning the loss of their children.”

(AllHipHop Rumors) Oh boy. This feels like a neverending saga. Here are the basics. Nicki Minaj’s spouse has finally called it a day and registered as a sex offender in California after he was arrested last week. The man, aka Kenneth Petty, is now formally listened in the hallowed halls of California Department of Justice’s database, a horrible distinction indeed. The 41-year old’s infraction was “attempted rape by force or fear.” OK.
He was put in federal custody because he didn’t register as a sex offender in California. He made an honest mistake. In New York, he is registered because he was convicted of attempting to rape a 16-year-old girl in the year 1995.
The word on the street is Nicki Minaj is standing by her man no matter how much of a problem it seems to be. “He was 15, she was 16 … in a relationship, but go awf, internet, y’all can’t run my life. y’all can’t even run y’all own life,” Nicki said in 2018 of her soon-to-be spouse. They were married in October of 2019.
My girl left me because I was messy and unemployed full time. This dude marries one of the top rappers in the world and she sticks with him. She’s a keeper!
Anyway, the state of New York and Trinidad got to talking and they seem to be angered about these recent develpments. The Director of Public Information at the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (Janine Kava) has revealed that Petty was supposed to tell them that he was going to Trinidad. “Federal law requires registered sex offenders to notify the state in which they are registered of any international travel 21 days prior to traveling,” she in a statement. There go those two words again – “sex offender”. “The Registry did not receive such notification from Mr. Petty.” They made him surrender his passport. They also raised the issue that he went to St Jude’s Home for Girls with Nicki Minaj on February 27.
(AllHipHop Rumors) Jay Electronica is probably the most enigmatic person ever in Hip-Hop. Unlike, Andre 3000 and Lauryn Hill, he never dropped an album and he’s rarely seen in public. He’s got so many rumors, but very few confirmations. Last month, he teased that his album would be dropping 40 days from February 7. You can do the math…the day of reckoning is coming.
Is has been 13 – FREAKING THIRTEEN YEARS since “Exhibit C”, people! Last month, the rapper god said, “Album done. Recorded over 40 days and 40 nights, starting from Dec 26.” He also said, “Releasing in 40 days. A Written Testimony.” Now, if he does not release it after 40 days, the story he has so cleverly crafted is ruined! Also, Jay-Z has co-signed this looming moment by “liking” the tweets. These are literally the only tweets that he’s “liked” on Twitter. Jay doesn’t want egg on his face!
While the new mom was candid about getting caught short during the recent outing with seven-week-old Isaac, writing, “S##t just got real,” TV personality Wendy was less than forgiving.
She called out the star during an installment of “The Wendy Williams Show.”
“I don’t like what she did,” Williams said, before explaining her point. “Now, as a mother, you hate it when you go places and there are no changing tables… So she’s in Staples with her seven-week-old son… and he does an explosive. So she changed that in the aisle. Personally speaking, I don’t want to see that.”
She continued: “If you’re taking your seven-week-old baby to Staples, you’re watching the baby more than you’re watching where the Sharpies and rings of paper, and cartridges for your printer are…
“I just wish she would’ve done something different. This is not cool and I don’t know why we have to know about it on your Instagram!”
Wendy went on to suggest that she should have taken her baby to the car to change him, and added that, while she understands that a regular person might have had to do this, for Graham as a supermodel she found it unacceptable.
Ashley, who shares Isaac with husband Justin Ervin, was met with support for her initial post, with famous pals jumping to her defense against trolls online.
(AllHipHop News)Invasion of Privacy came out nearly two years ago, but Cardi B’s breakout body of work continues to collect a significant amount of streams on a weekly basis. It is still one of the best-charting rap projects in 2020.
If Cardi can keep her first studio LP on the Billboard 200 for another 24 weeks, she will surpass Nicki Minaj’s The Pinkprint for the longest-charting female rap album in history. IOP is already listed as the most-streamed female rap album on Spotify.
“Bodak Yellow” is certified 9x-Platinum. “I Like It” with Bad Bunny and J Balvin is certified 8x-Platinum. Both singles reached #1 on the Hot 100 chart, making Cardi B the first female rapper to have two Number Ones. The “I Like It” music video also crossed the 1-billion view mark on YouTube.
One of Hip-Hop’s favorite #GirlDads, the “4:44” rapper tried to normalize the experience with a gang of laughter and smiles, but what is ever normal about Ms. Blue?
B.I. is already 8-years-old and according to E News!, was acting like a typical girl her age giggling with her daddy as she munched on snacks.
But unlike other girls her age, her dad was able to score a private meet and greet with JaVale McGee and three-time NBA champion, Lebron James.
While on the court, she actually was able to charm James into gifting her a signed basketball for her personal collection.
Reports say that she was all smiles talking to the All-Stars. Who knew that Blue was into sports? We learn something new every time that pretty “Brown-Skin Girl” pops out.

(AllHipHop News) After Kobe Bryant’s death in January, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson promised to change his behavior on social media when it comes to arguing with celebrities. That pledge has not prevented Jackson from cracking jokes at other people’s expense though.
50 Cent is back to making fun of Shad “Bow Wow” Moss on Instagram. The G-Unit boss posted a video of Bow Wow taking a tumble while performing during a concert.
” Damn it man, BOW WOW can’t come to TYCOON falling off the stage and sh*t. NAH stay home,” wrote 50 in the IG vid’s caption. The clip has over 800,000 views.
The quote is a callback to 50 Cent clowning Moss in 2019. Last year’s back-and-forth between the two rappers/actors included Fiddy banning Bow Wow from his TYCOON Party in New York City.

(AllHipHop News) Lil Baby made an appearance on MTV’s Fresh Out Live, with host Sway. The Atlanta rapper talked about many topics including his new album My Turn, getting his GED, and more.
Lil Baby referred to being compared to Lil Wayne as a huge honor. He recently collaborated with Wayne on the song, “Forever,” which appears on My Turn.
”I’m honored! That’s the perfect word for it,” he stated. “Even if it’s far-fetched to somebody, but just for more than one person to compare me to somebody like him I’m honored and it makes me want to go harder.”
On the topic of education, Lil Baby stated how important it was for him to get his GED after dropping out of school in the 10th grade. He explained how his GED opened up doors for him and how it also lessened his prison sentence. He served two years in prison in 2015 for violating his probation.
Lil Baby also discussed launching his scholarship called “My Turn,” which is named after his sophomore album. The scholarship was created to give back to students of his former high school, Booker T. Washington High School.
He donated $150,000 to the scholarship fund. He told Sway, “I could’ve donated to anything… But [donating] to the school, to me, that’s the best way. I got a better chance of knowing it’s going to the right place versus a charity.”
Lil Baby’s most recent show in Birmingham, Alabama was shut down after gunshots were fired during the concert. One person was shot and hospitalized for life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made yet.
