Nick Cannon Samples Old Racist Eminem Verse In New Diss Track

(AllHipHop News) Nick Cannon continues to target rap superstar Eminem by releasing his third diss track.

Earlier today (December 19th), Nick dropped another new song called “Cancelled.”

Nick took some liberty and interpolated Ice Cube’s incredible diss “No Vaseline” diss to N.W.A. for the intro of his song.

Nick then launches into “Cancelled,” a bouncy record which features a sample of an old unreleased song featuring Em calling black women dumb b##ches.

The snippet of Em in Nick’s song was surfaced by Benzino and the Source back in 2003 when he was feuding with the magazine as well.

The full verse was from an old demo Em recorded in the 1990’s with the lyrics: “Blacks and whites they sometimes mix, but black girls only want your money ’cause they’re dumb chicks/Don’t date a black girl if you do it once you won’t do it twice/Black girls are dumb and white girls are good chicks.

Eminem apologized for the songs he made when he was a teenager and said a bad breakup with his African-American girlfriend was the reason he made the racist song.

With the exception of his tweet, Eminem has refused to reply to any of Nick’s songs, leading to the “Wild N Out” host to declare himself the winner of the “rap battle.”

Eminem’s fans are currently having some fun at Nick’s declarations of victory.

A Jay-Z Music Video Helped Recruit Adam Sandler For His Role In ‘Uncut Gems’

(AllHipHop News) It’s officially the movie award season. As Hollywood prepares for the 92nd Academy Awards nominations being announced on January 13, actors and actresses are picking up nods at the Critics’ Choice Awards, Golden Globe Awards, and the SAG Awards.

Adam Sandler earned a Best Actor nomination at the 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards, and he is one of the predicted contenders to compete for Best Actor at the Oscars. Some critics are calling Sandler’s portrayal of Jewish-American jeweler Howard Ratner in A24’s Uncut Gems the best performance of his career.

According to co-director Josh Safdie, a Jay-Z music video played a role in securing Sandler’s participation in the crime thriller. Josh and his brother Benny Safdie were behind the camera for Jay’s “Marcy Me” visual.

The clip from the 4:44 album era helped recruit Sandler for Uncut Gems. “He really emotionally responded to it,” said Josh about the Saturday Night Live alum’s reaction to Hov’s homage to his hometown. “It only helped in that courtship.”

Oscar-nominated cinematographer Darius Khondj also teamed with the Safdies on Uncut Gem and “Marcy Me.” Josh explained how making Jay-Z’s vid, which was partly presented from the POV of an NYPD helicopter, was not an easy experience.

“Those were the hardest, most chaotic shooting conditions I’ve ever been a part of,” admitted Josh. “I’m very proud of that video.” Besides Uncut Gems, the Safdie brothers also directed Daddy Longlegs, Lenny Cooke, Heaven Knows What, and Good Time.

Charlamagne Tha God Addresses 6ix9ine & Donald Trump Being Held Accountable

(AllHipHop News) The internet was ready to roast Charlamagne Tha God after the radio talking head sarcastically promised to perform f####### on Tekashi 6ix9ine if the rapper beat his racketeering/firearm case. Thankfully for CTG, 6ix9ine was sentenced to 24 months for his part in the criminal offenses conducted by the Nine Trey Bloods.

Charlamagne was not done offering his opinions about Tekashi’s legal situation. The Brilliant Idiots podcaster also had some thoughts on Donald Trump after the businessman-turned-politician became the third U.S. president to be impeached on the same day 6ix9ine was finding out his fate in court.

“The word of the day is ACCOUNTABILITY. Nobody is above the law and nobody can escape accountability. We are all accountable for ourselves, our success and failure [are] a result of what WE do and if you don’t make yourself accountable you will be made accountable by your circumstances. Happy Kwanzaa!!!!!!” posted Charlamagne on Instagram.

CTG’s accountability message was the caption for an IG image of Trump’s face photoshopped onto Tekashi’s body. Donald Trump and Tekashi 6ix9ine have more than one thing in common. The current Commander in Chief and the Dummy Boy creator made countless headlines for their tendency to troll their rivals online, and they both have also been accused of sex-related crimes.

Angie Martinez Provides Update Following Injury From Car Accident

(AllHipHop News) Last month, Angie Martinez revealed she was involved in a severe car accident. The Power 105.1 radio personality returned to social media on Wednesday to update her followers on her recovery.

“There are no words to thank u guys enough for the amount of love & prayers I have received over the past couple of months but my heart is full & my spirit is strong AF and I can’t [wait] to get back on air January 7th!” tweeted Martinez.

She also called into her Power 105.1 co-workers at The Breakfast Club to talk about handling the painful ordeal. Apparently, Martinez got advice from comedian Kevin Hart who is also recuperating from a serious car crash

Prior to the accident, the woman also known as “The Voice of New York” debuted her WE tv series Untold Stories Of Hip Hop. Rap stars such as Cardi B, A$AP Rocky, and Snoop Dogg sat down with Angie to talk about their careers.

6ix9ine’s Victim Discusses Him Not Being Able To Come Home For Christmas

(AllHipHop News) Daniel “Tekashi 6ix9ine” Hernandez was sentenced to 24 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to racketeering and firearms charges and testifying against his Nine Trey Gang affiliates. The “Gummo” rapper is expected to be released before the end of 2020.

While many of Tekashi’s fans were hoping he would walk free on Wednesday, at least one person is happy the convicted felon will be behind bars for this holiday season. Skyy Daniels, a victim of a 6ix9ine-connected attack, wrote an impact statement to the judge. She is now speaking out publicly about the case.

“The best thing about the two-year sentence – I did not want him to be able to come home for Christmas to his family,” said Daniels in an interview. “Because you know where I was last year for Christmas with my family? I was in the hospital. I was away from my children. I was away from my grandchildren. I was away from my parents. I was in hiding in a hospital, suffering from a mental breakdown.”

Daniels was one of the mistaken individuals held at gunpoint in New York City by Nine Trey Bloods as Tekashi reportedly recorded the incident from a vehicle. The publicist went on to say she believes justice was served because Hernandez was not with his family this year. In addition, it appears she is considering legal action against 6ix9ine.

“He owes me everything that he has. He owes all of us. He needs to be totally financially bankrupt and burdened like he’s done so many other people,” declared Skyy. “He absolutely needs to pay our medical bills, her pain and suffering, her mental anguish, her emotional anguish. This has been very stressful and traumatic to all of us.”

Frankie Zing- “WOKE” Video

(AllHipHop Music) Brooklyn-born and Staten Island-bred lyricist Frankie Zing has been making waves creatively and shows no signs of slowing down. Citing Nas, Eminem, and DMX as early influences, Frankie’s work reflects the fundamentals of hip-hop & lyricism and the powers that be have taken notice.

Within one year, the MC went from unknown artist to writer for Hot 97’s Funkmaster Flex. He later landed a song on the soundtrack of ‘What Happened Last Night?’ which stars Amber Rose

The track, “Who I Am,” went on to be a serious contender for the nomination of Best Original Song at the 89th Academy Awards.

Already an established MC, Frankie has also flexed his acting chops, landing several acting roles on programs such as ‘Shadow of Doubt,’ ‘MTV’s Ladylike,’ and ‘The Daily Show’ with ‘Trevor Noah.’

After moving from the east coast to California, Frankie doubled down on his musical pursuits and has released the visual for his latest single, “WOKE.” Produced by U-Dub of NY Bangers (“OOUUU” by Young M.A), the track finds Frankie Zing showcasing his lyricism in raw form.

The Internet Reacts To A$AP Rocky’s Alleged Sex Tape Leaking

(AllHipHop News) Less than 10 hours after the news broke, President Donald Trump being impeached is no longer the #1 trending topic on Twitter. Instead, many Twitter users are more interested in a supposed celebrity sex tape.

A$AP Rocky’s name is leading the “U.S. Trends” section as commenters discuss a presumed video of the Harlem rapper having intercourse with an unknown woman. There is no official confirmation that Rocky is actually the person in the clip.

Both men and women are now sharing their thoughts on the performance of the guy in the video, assuming it is Rocky. Other people pointed out that December 18 was a very memorable day for pop culture since Trump’s impeachment, 6ix9ine’s sentencing in his federal racketeering case, and Camila Cabello apologizing for past racist posts also happened on Wednesday.

As of press time, Rocky has not commented on the alleged sex tape. The 31-year-old A$AP Mob member made international headlines earlier this year after being arrested in Sweden for assault. Trump publicly advocated for his release.

UPDATE:

A$AP Rocky has responded to reports of his alleged sex tape leaking. Instead of specifically confirming or denying if he was the man in the video, Rocky focused on the online chatter about his sexual performance.

He tweeted on Thursday afternoon:

MY PENIS AND I WOKE UP 2 THE ALARMING DISTURBANCE OF A VIDEO CLIP 2DAY. AS HIS DEFENSE ATTORNEY WE’RE PREPARED 2 DENY ANY SLOW STROKES OR LACK OF KILLIN THE P*SSY. A LONG LIST OF SATISFIED WOMEN CAN ATTEST TOO. BUT THE REAL PUNCHLINE IS SEEING PPL WHO NEVER F*CKED HIM RATE HIM

Lizzo & Tomi Lahren Clash Over Donald Trump Being Impeached

(AllHipHop News) Yesterday, the House of Representatives impeached Donald Trump, making the Republican politician just the third president to face trial in the Senate. Americans on both sides of the aisle reacted to the historic news on social media.

For example, Lizzo quote tweeted her September 24 tweet that read, “IM MENT.” The “Truth Hurts” singer added, “This aged well…” Conservative pundit Tomi Lahren then responded to Lizzo’s tweet by posting, “Well @realDonaldTrump is still your president. Truth hurts.

Lizzo fired back, “The only thing that hurts is this country is divided by hatred fueled from people like you.. why don’t u do better and give ya boy some advice on telling the truth, he’s gonna need it.”

Lahren got the final word in the exchange. She later tweeted, “Hatred? This whole witch hunt was fueled by hatred from the Left, from those who can’t stand the fact the country is soaring under this president. You don’t have to like or support @realDonaldTrump but win by voting in 2020, not attempting to nullify the 2016 election.”

The Democratic-led House of Representatives approved articles of impeachment on abuse of power and obstruction of Congress against Trump. The impeachment of the POTUS was the result of Trump attempting to coerce members of the Ukrainian government for information on his political opponent as a way to help his 2020 re-election bid.

What Next Now That Trump Has Been Impeached?

(AllHipHop Rumors) The president of the United States of America aka 45 has been impeached by the House. Now, let me just get this out of the way, I don’t know jack about politics! But I am enthralled about this! When Clinton was impeached, I was too young to understand. I am now too old to understand! LOL! But I am interested in it more than I was back in the day. The Dems voted 230 and the Repubs voted 197 in the House.

This whole thing now goes to the Senate, which is controlled by the Republicans. It is almost certain that homie prez will not be getting removed from office, but the stain of being impeached is not something that goes away. The Senate will be the ones that will decide if the dude will actually get removed from the office. That is not likely. Nixon was the only one c that came supremely close to this, but he resigned before it could happen to him. Trump blew it off at a rally saying something like, “It does not feel like we are being impeached” with his followers cheering. This just means the country is still divided along party, class, racial lines and intelligence lines. Some of “us” are dumb as hell! I am not omitting myself by the way, but I also know when not to say anything.

Right now there is a trial on the way, which will decide if he will be removed from office. Expect a lot of talk about “fair trial” going forward. Trump is already talking about the media and things of that nature. There were nationwide marches and rallies all over the week…well…he we go. Hold on!

R. Kelly Beamed Into Court To Plead Not Guilty To Getting Aaliyah A Fake I.D.

(AllHipHop News) R. Kelly appeared in court today (December 18th) via a video conference, to plead not guilty to a bribery charge.

The rap star wanted to submit his plea in writing, but Federal prosecutors objected to the idea over concerns the R&B star might not understand the charge due to his alleged inability to read.

On December 5th, R. Kelly was hit with the bribery charge in a superseding 12-count indictment, claiming he was involved in a conspiracy to bribe a Cook County, Illinois official.

The Feds claim R. Kelly was involved in the forgery of documents in 1994 to get a fake I.D. for the late R&B singer Aaliyah, so he could marry her even though she was 15-years-old at the time.

The singer is accused of using his ultra-successful career to lure young women into a “sex cult,” aided by his managers, bodyguards and personal assistants.

In addition to charges in New York, R. Kelly is facing trials in Illinois and Minnesota.

EXCLUSIVE: A Breakdown Of Everyone Tekashi69 Helped Send To Prison

(AllHipHop News) Tekash69’s cooperation led to plea deals or convictions against all 12 defendants charged in a sweeping RICO case against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

The rap star was sent to prison for two years today (December 18th) after collaborating with the Feds for over a year, by providing invaluable information to prosecutors to help bring down the gang’s current top leadership.

Tekash69 may be safe in prison for the next few years, but he is going to have to watch his back for the rest of his life since he reportedly refused to join the Witness Protection Program.

The gang already tried to kill Roland “Ro Murda” Martin, who was stabbed multiple times in prison for renouncing Nine Trey.

And the fallout surrounding his cooperation against the gang will continue well into 2020.

The gang’s leader Mel Murda is appealing his 135-month prison sentence, as are other members of Nine Trey, including Shotti, Aaron “Bat” Young, Anthony “Harv” Ellison, and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack.

Here’s an exclusive look at everyone who has been sentenced or awaiting their prison sentence.

JR Smith Says He & Wife Have Been Separated For Months Following Her Instagram Breakdown

(AllHipHop Rumors) If you’ve been following the blogs I’m sure you’ve heard about the entire JR Smith cheating allegation.

Well if you haven’t, here’s a rundown. So basically basketball player JR Smith has been creeping and cheating on his wife with The Flash actress, Candice Patton. His wife, Jewel Harris Smith took to Instagram live to say a prayer to “help and heal” her husband.

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by The Shade Room (@theshaderoom)

Smith and Payton have been allegedly dating since October of 2018. The Smiths have been married for three years and share three daughters together.

The NBA free agent wanted to clear a few things up about his relationship with his wife. According to JR, he and his wife have been separated for months.

Looks like he just wants to live his life in peace without being scrutinized by the world because of his wife.

My personal opinion on it is that Jewel has known about his alleged “affair” with Candice for some time now, and before they (Patton and her husband) went public, she wanted to eliminate any embarrassment and judgment coming her way. So, she decided to take their problems publicly and what better way to do so than Instagram?

What y’all think? Do you think Jewel should have kept things to herself? Is it wrong for JR to move on so fast amid separation?

BREAKING: Tekashi69 Gets Prison Time In RICO Case

(AllHipHop News) Rap star Tekashi 6ix9ine learned his fate today (December 18th) during his sentencing for terrorizing New York with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

Today (December 18th) Judge Paul Engelmayer gave Tekashi 6ix9ine a significantly sentence of two years in prison.

During the hearing, Judge Engelmayer noted the rapper’s assistance in bringing down the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

But he also highlighted the rapper’s admission of an attempted murder in New York, as well as the participation in the robbery of employees for Rap-A-Lot Records.

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s lawyer Lance Lazzaro begged Judge Engelmayer to give the rapper time served and three years probation, since the rapper would be targeted by gang members for the rest of his life.

Judge Engelmayer disagreed and told the rap star “he was set” before he decided to join Nine Trey in 2017 and ruin his own career, before smacking the rapper with the prison sentence.

Due to Tekashi 6ix9ine’s status as a wealthy rapper, Judge Engelmayer also opened up the possibility of making the rap star pay restitution to several of his victims, who angrily demanded apologies from the rapper during his sentencing.

Tekashi 6ix9ine, real name Daniel Hernandez, offered to pay the medical bills of anyone who might bring a claim against him.

Then he read a letter to the court addressed to his victims apologizing, saying he meant to inspire the world and be an example of independence, before getting mixed up with the Nine Trey.

While he will not gain his freedom immediately, it’s still a sweet deal for the rapper, who was originally facing almost 40 years in prison, after he was caught up in the RICO case brought against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods in November of 2018.

During sentencing, Tekashi 6ix9ine blasted members of the gang.

The rapper called out Kifano “Shotti” Jordan for having sex with the mother of his child. He noted his kidnapping at the hands of Anthony “Harv” Ellison, and said he was being robbed blind by his own booking agents.

But Judge Engelmayer chastised the rap star for joining Nine Trey to get back at his rivals.

He rejected the argument that the rapper was a “passive participant” in several crimes, while holding him responsible for starting a variety of rap feuds.

Prosecutors did praise Tekashi 6ix9ine for providing information on the gang which led to the convictions of the Nine Trey Gangsta’s alleged godfather Jamel “Mel Murda” Jones and 11 other members of the gang.

Tekashi 6ix9ine joined the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods in 2017, just before the “Gummo” rapper’s career skyrocketed.

But as his fame grew, the rapper became embroiled in numerous conflicts with a variety of rappers ranging from YG and Chief Keef to Casanova and Trippie Redd.

Judge Engelmayer blamed Tekashi 6ix9ine for a variety of violent altercations, including a brazen shooting inside of the Barclay’s Center in April of 2018 during a fight with Casanova’s crew, as well as an attempt on Chief Keef’s life in June of 2018.

Meanwhile, the rapper was involved in selling drugs for the gang at the height of his career, after admitting on the stand that he pumped at least a kilo of heroin in Brooklyn in the summer of 2018.

Tekashi 6ix9ine decided to cooperate because members of the gang turned on him and even kidnapped the rapper in July of 2018, as an internal feud exploded over his career.

According to Tekashi 6ix9ine, the final straw came when Jim Jones was caught on a wiretap calling for gang members to “super-violate” the Brooklyn rapper.

The rapper met with the Feds 26 different times, decoded thousands of text messages and assisted the Feds in their ongoing investigations.

Judge Engelmayer did label the rapper “courageous” for his cooperation and said the rapper had received a “lucrative deal” from the government, before handing down the two-year prison stay, followed by five years of supervised release.

From Sean John to Ciroc, from television to film, his cultural influence is still evident today. His legacy extends beyond just music as he also launched his own cable network, REVOLT, in 2013, and his own Charter School, Capital Preparatory Harlem in 2016.

For nearly three decades, Diddy has fused his boundless creativity and sharp entrepreneurial spirit to create timeless art and build brands and institutions that have shifted our global music culture,” said Deborah Dugan, President/CEO of the Recording Academy. “By bringing the music and lifestyle of East Coast hip-hop to the masses, he was an early reminder of music’s unifying ability to flip our perceptions and broaden our connections to all corners of the world. I couldn’t be happier for Sean as a dear friend and colleague.”

It is exciting to see Combs honored by his friend and peer, Clive Davis, as Davis gave Combs his support when he was starting his Bad Boy Records.

“Clive Davis and Arista Records gave me a chance when I was starting Bad Boy Records, he was one of the first industry executives to really believe in me. I’m forever grateful for him,” said Sean Combs. “To be honored at this year’s Pre-GRAMMY Gala and receive the Industry Icons Award is truly a blessing.”

The exquisite Pre-GRAMMY Gala has become one of the biggest nights in music and one of the most distinguished events as it honors luminaries with the Recording Academy’s GRAMMY Salute To Industry Icons award, and as it unites music’s most influential and innovative music professionals.

The Game Says Michael Jackson Wanted Him To Squash Beef With 50 Cent

(AllHipHop Rumors) Michael said what? According to The Game, Michael Jackson was all for him and 50 Cent squashing their beef.

Game claims that someone from Michael’s camp called and said Jackson wanted to have a conversation with him. The two spoke and the legend (Michael) said he loved his single, “How We Do” and his Documentary album.

Game tells a brief insight on how the conversation with MJ went…

“I think that you and 50 did great work and it would be a travesty if the world never got to hear you guys again. Would you be open to having a conversation and squashing that beef and doing a song for my album?”

The Compton rapper says during that time he hated 50 and wanted to kill him and he is sure the feelings were mutual. Of course that collab never happened and Game doesn’t remember how the conversation with Michael ended either.

What do y’all think? Do you think Michael called Game up to talk to him about 50?

‘The Game’ Set To Be Rebooted On The CW

(AllHipHop News) The latest television reboot is coming from Mara Brock Akil (Girlfriends, Being Mary Jane) and Devon Greggory (American Soul). Their long-running comedy-drama The Game is in the works for The CW network.

A new one-hour edition of The Game will be set in Baltimore instead of San Diego. Some of the original cast members are expected to come back for the new version of the Girlfriends spin-off.

The Game premiered on The CW as a multi-camera sitcom with Tia Mowry-Hardrict (Melanie Barnett-Davis) and Pooch Hall (Derwin Davis) in the lead roles. After BET revived the series as a single-camera dramedy for season 4, Lauren London (Keira Michelle Whitaker) and Jay Ellis (Bryce “Blueprint” Westbrook) became the central stars for S6-S9.

“I’m really proud of the look of our show, that we took a multi-cam budget and turned it into a single-camera show. Its look, its tone, its approach, the characters’ development — that, yes, we were a half-hour comedy but we used our moments to deepen the characters,” said Akil

The screenwriter/producer continued, “We also offered drama in a half-hour space. And that was my own personal desire, but it was also reflective of what the audience has been wanting, which is more well-rounded, deeper, richer, layered characters, and they got that in The Game.”

Devon Greggory will serve as the showrunner. Mara Brock Akil, Salim Akil, Kelsey Grammer, and Tom Russo are credited as executive producers. Throughout its 9 season run, the cast of The Game also featured Wendy Raquel Robinson, Brittany Daniel, Coby Bell, Brandy, Katlynn Simone, Barry Floyd, Shanti Lowry, Drew Sidora, Gabrielle Dennis, Rocky Carroll, Rick Fox, Robin Givens, Mehcad Brooks, Stacey Dash, Tika Sumpter, Terrence “J” Jenkins, Meagan Good, and more.

O.T. Genasis Complains About His Keyshia Cole Remake “Never Knew” Being Pulled From YouTube

(AllHipHop News) O.T. Genasis is not known as a singer, but the 32-year-old rapper attempted to show off his pipes with his “Never Knew” ballad. The comical song was a Crip-inspired remake of Keyshia Cole’s single “Love.”

At first, Cole was very open about not being a fan of Genasis’ version of her 2005 record. The R&B vocalist later stated she felt it was “a real surprise” hearing O.T.’s “Never Knew” but admitted she thought it was “funny as hell.”

O.T. Genasis’ tongue-in-cheek rendition became a viral sensation. However, it appears someone wanted to stop the track from further spreading on the internet. The “CoCo” and “Cut It” hitmaker took to Instagram to share some news about his interpretation of Cole’s Top 20 hit.

“They took ‘Never Knew’ down from YouTube… ♿ Somebody hated on my sh*t smh!” posted Genasis on IG. The caption for the text image read, “Damn cuzz ..Somebody don’t like me lol.”

Last year, Jacquees discovered his remix of Ella Mai’s “Trip” was removed from both SoundCloud and YouTube. That situation sparked a conversation about the legality of artists releasing covers/remakes/remixes of other artists’ songs on DSPs. Pornhub users eventually added Jacquees’ “Quemix” of “Trip” to the pornographic video sharing website.

O.T. Genasis later returned to Instagram to tell his 1.1 million followers, “I should go upload da song to Pornhub since they wanna play lol.” As of press time, it is not clear if Keyshia Cole was directly involved in “Never Knew” being taken down from YouTube.
