Garrett Zoukis’ Lead Single “Outa My Mind” Is A Hit

Garrett Zoukis- Outa My Mind

We hear lyrics about rappers who wish they had the talent to be athletes and vice versa, but what happens when you’re the anomaly who has both? DMV rapper Garrett Zoukis, who entered the University of Cincinnati’s division one baseball program as a blue chip recruit had to answer that very question.

After a year of balancing his music career with being a student-athlete, Zoukis decided to take a break from his education to focus on making music. While he wasn’t with his team or studying, he was on the road preforming with fellow lyricists including Logic, Skizzy Mars and Mike Stud. Over the past 12 months he recruited 3x Grammy Award winner, Pete Novak, to help him polish his sound, and has since amassed a catalog of over 100 unreleased songs.

His latest offering ‘Outa My Mind‘ is the first track from his freshman album, EUNOIA. Zoukis’ advanced lyricism coupled with bouncy production from Omito build anticipation for his upcoming release. Garrett’s website indicates the project will be put out in Fall 2017. Follow him on Twitter and give the record a listen below.
