(AllHipHop News) Who didn’t see this coming? Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has jumped into the ongoing Nick Cannon versus Eminem beef. After Em responded to Cannon’s “The Invitation” diss track on Twitter, 50 took to Instagram to offer Nick a warning.
“I don’t understand to save my life why someone would pick a fight with EM. He is a different kinda animal, I haven’t seen a motherf*cker come close to beating him man. hey Nick that sh*t was trash, I oughta kick you in yo ass when I see you PUNK!” wrote Fiddy on IG.
Cannon quickly shot back by suggesting 50 Cent is an Uncle Tom for supporting Eminem. The host of Wild ‘N Out and The Masked Singer posted a picture on Instagram of Samuel L. Jackson’s controversial “house slave” character from the movie Django Unchained. The IG caption simply read, “@50Cent .”

50 Cent has credited Eminem as one of the people that helped launch his career to mainstream status. The Queens rapper signed to Em’s Shady Records in 2002. His breakout hit, “Wanksta,” was a single on the 8 Mile soundtrack which was released under Shady Records.
The Em and 50 tag team is not a new concept. Along with Busta Rhymes, they united up to take out Ja Rule with the “Hail Mary” diss record in 2003. 50 Cent was engaged in a violent rivalry with Ja, Irv Gotti, and Murder Inc Records for years.
Eminem’s feud with Nick Cannon goes back over a decade. Em has insisted he once dated Cannon’s now ex-wife Mariah Carey, but the Grammy winner denied ever going out with the Detroit-bred emcee.
The two megastars released numerous songs aimed at the other. On 2009’s “Bagpipes from Baghdad” off the Relapse album, Em had several lines about Mariah. He also rapped, “Nick Cannon better back the f*ck up I’m not playing. I want her back, you punk.”
Carey then sent obvious subliminal shots at Eminem on her Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel single “Obsessed” in 2009. One month later, Em dropped the Dr. Dre-produced “The Warning” which again slammed Mariah Carey and her then-husband Nick Cannon.
