Machine Gun Kelly Promises He’s Releasing A Rock Album

(AllHipHop News) Machine Gun Kelly’s role in the Motley Crue biopic, “The Dirt,” has really rubbed off on the rapper – his next album will be all rock.

The star, real name Colson Baker, portrayed Tommy Lee in the 2019 Netflix film and on Sunday he took to Twitter to alert fans to the fact his next release will be a rock album.

“2020 is about to be a great year for music, so many artists are making better music than they ever have and finding new pockets and all the new artists are sick as f##k,” he wrote. “rock album in 2020. new song before the year’s over.”

The news comes just four days after Kelly teamed up with Limp Bizkit for a performance of “Break Stuff” at The Roxy Theater in Los Angeles.

The rapper later shared photos of himself with Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst backstage.

(AllHipHop News) Megan Thee Stallion has confirmed her pal French Montana is doing “great” as the rapper is placed on home rest following a stint in hospital for exhaustion.

The “Unforgettable” hitmaker spent the weekend in intensive care, days after police responded to a false robbery alarm at his home in Calabasas, California on November 21 and found him suffering from cardiac issues and nausea – before insisting he seeks immediate treatment.

After finally being discharged from the ICU on Thanksgiving, he was placed on four weeks’ home rest – and “Hot Girl Summer” hitmaker Megan told E! News she’s keeping an eye on her friend.

“He’s great,” she told the publication. “He’s like, ‘Megan, I just can’t believe you came to see me (in the hospital on November 25).’ And I’m like, ‘Why would I not come see you, you’re my friend!’ So yeah, he’s good.”

The up-and-coming star previously took to social media to share a number of snaps of her and French in hospital, as she spent time with him on the ward when he was struck down with severe exhaustion and dehydration after flying to four countries in six days for work.

In a FaceTime chat with Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s Beats 1, the musician opened up about his health scare on Friday and lamented how his recovery process has affected his planned promotional schedule.

“You know, life come at you sometimes, get you down to your knees,” he said. “That’s what happened when you try to be too much of a rock star on your birthday. I turned up so much I ended up in the ICU.”

Despite the setback, he dropped his latest record, Montana, on Friday.

Kanye West Glows Up In Silver Body Paint For “Mary” Opera

(AllHipHop News) Kanye West was covered head-to-toe in silver for his latest opera, “Mary.”

The rapper’s most recent venture took place on Sunday (December 8th) at the Miami Marine Stadium and was accessible only via motorboat.

As was the case with Kanye’s previous opera last month, which received mixed reviews for its late start time and rough acoustics, the performance began after a one-hour delay at 4:00 pm.

Staged on a floating barge at the Key Biscayne waterfront, the chorus stood between sand-colored mounds and reenacted excerpts from the biblical books of Matthew and Luke.

However, while the “Gold Digger” hitmaker only narrated his last opera, “Nebuchadnezzar,” he was painted in silver body paint and wearing a matching tunic for this week’s performance, as he read gospel passages aloud and appeared as part of the physical interpretation.

The chorus of performers was similarly dressed, and delivered new arrangements of older Kanye songs, including “Devil in a New Dress,” “Love Lockdown,” “Power,” “I Thought About Killing You,” and “Can’t Tell Me Nothing.” Christmas classics including “O Holy Night” and “Gloria in Excelsis Deo” were also performed.

“Mary” ran for approximately one hour and, as the performers left the stage, they were whisked away via a motorboat, according to Variety.

The opera is the latest project in which West has embraced his Christianity, as he has staged his Sunday Service gospel performances across the U.S., and is reportedly planning to team up with preacher Joel Osteen to stage a huge sermon at New York’s Yankee Stadium in the coming months.

(AllHipHop News) The Juice Wrld case has just taken another tragic turn.

According to TMZ.com, the rapper had popped some pills just before he suffered from a fatal seizure inside of Midway Airport in Chicago.

The 21-year-old rap star deboarded a Jet from California, when he collaposed and started spitting up blood.

The rapper eventually lost consciousness and died at a nearby hospital. The cops say they also found an empty bottle of codeine on the plane.

But the opiods were not the only drugs on the rap star’s private jet.

In a stunning development the police say the aircraft was loaded with over 70 pounds of marijuana.

Two men on the plane were arrested on gun charges, as the FBI starts their investigation. 

Nick Cannon Hints At His Black Squad Wanting To Battle Eminem

(AllHipHop News) It appears Nick Cannon is ready to go to lyrical war with Eminem. The two stars’ longstanding feud reignited last week when Em responded to Cannon’s comments from T.I.’s ExpediTIously podcast in September.

Cannon recalled on the show, “I said, ‘I know I’m not gonna be able to out rap you, but I will whoop your ass.'” Eminem answered back on Fat Joe’s “Lord Above” track with the lines, “Almost got my caboose kicked? Fool, quit. You not gonna do sh*t. I let her chop my balls off too ‘fore I lost to you, Nick.”

This whole ordeal goes back to Em’s decade-old issues with Nick Cannon’s ex-wife Mariah Carey. The iconic vocalist even released an Eminem diss song in 2009 titled “Obsessed.” Now Cannon seems to be open to battling his Detroit-based rival in some capacity.

Over the last several days, the Power 106 radio host has taken aim at Em on Instagram. Cannon’s most recent IG post is a photo of the actor/comedian along with Wild ‘N Out cast members/professional battle rappers Conceited and Hitman Holla. He wrote in the caption, “Welp… Y’all asked for it!!! #TheInvitation #BlackSquad.”

Conceited, Hitman Holla, and fellow battler Charlie Clips implied they were open to teaming with Cannon against the Shady Records founder. All three Smack/URL legends commented under their boss’ Instagram pic which led to other users wondering if Eminem would actually make an appearance on the long-running improv comedy series Wild ‘N Out.

(AllHipHop News) Beyoncé Knowles-Carter is not headed to the Vegas Strip for a 2020 residency. Speculation that Queen Bey was setting up shop in Nevada next year made headlines over the weekend.

According to Variety, a representative for Beyoncé said the Las Vegas residency rumors were “absolutely not true.” Many of Bey’s fans believed the reports because it was recently the ten-year anniversary of her 2009 live album I Am… Yours: An Intimate Performance at Wynn Las Vegas.

(AllHipHop News) The death of Jarad “Juice WRLD” Higgins rocked the Hip Hop community on December 8. Many musicians mourned the 21-year-old Chicago native with posts on social media.

Lil Nas X honored the late rapper/singer by covering his biggest hit at the Jingle Ball concert in San Francisco. LNX’s performance of “Lucid Dreams” included the image of Juice WRLD projected on a screen in the venue.

“Lucid Dreams” peaked at #2 on the Hot 100 chart. The single has been certified 6x-Platinum by the RIAA. Following Juice WRLD’s passing, “Lucid Dreams” returned to the Top 5 on the iTunes chart and reached #1 on the Apple Music chart.

Higgins reportedly suffered a seizure at Midway International Airport in Chicago, Illinois on Sunday. The cause of the seizure and his death has yet to be determined. An autopsy is scheduled to take place today (December 9).

(AllHipHop News) It looks like Demetrius Smith, a former tour manager for Robert “R.” Kelly, is set to take the stand in the singer’s forthcoming racketeering, kidnapping, forced labor, and sexual exploitation trial. However, he does not want Kelly to serve time in prison.

TMZ spoke to Smith, and he told the outlet that he has firsthand knowledge of Kelly purchasing a fake ID for Aaliyah in 1994. Recently, prosecutors additionally charged Kelly for bribing government officials to obtain a marriage license in order to marry a then-15-year-old Aaliyah. Kelly was 27 at the time.

“I have to stand on my words, but I don’t want to use the words to prosecute Robert Kelly, because I feel like there’s another part that people just don’t realize and understand about this whole thing,” said Smith. “I don’t want to be used as a witness to hurt Mr. Kelly.”

Smith appeared in Surviving R. Kelly, the Lifetime docuseries that detailed decades-old sexual and physical abuse allegations against the Grammy winner. Kelly has denied all accusations. Earlier this year, the author of Man Behind The Man: Looking from the Inside Out also claimed Kelly attempted to have sex with him in the 1990s.

Investigators Working To Determine Cause Of Juice Wrld’s Sudden Death

(AllHipHop News) On Monday (December 9th), investigators say they will conduct an autopsy on rapper Juice Wrld, who died suddenly earlier today.

The 21-year-old, real name Jarad Anthony Higgins, had arrived at Midway Airport in Chicago following a flight from Los Angeles on Sunday morning (December 8th) when he fell ill.

Juice Wrld died in a private hanger at Midway Airport in Chicago.

Early reports said Juice Wrld died from a seizure, but close associates said he died from a heart attack at Christ Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 3:14 AM.

Juice WRLD shot to fame last year with the hits “All Girls Are The Same” and “Lucid Dreams,” and he picked up the Top New Artist trophy at the Billboard Music Awards in 2019.

His hit albums included Wrld on Drugs – a collaboration with Future, Goodbye and Good Riddance, and Death Race for Love, which earned Juice WRLD his first number one on the Billboard 200 chart earlier this year.

He also worked with artists like to BTS, Lil Uzi Vert, and Ellie Goulding.

“He was a gentle soul, whose creativity knew no bounds, an exceptional human being and artist who loved and cared for his fans above everything else,” Interscope Records said in a statement. “To lose someone so kind and so close to our hearts is devastating. Our thoughts are with Juice’s family and friends, everyone at his label Grade A, and his millions of fans around the world.”Lil Yachty was among the first to pay tribute to the late rapper on social media, posting a photo of himself with Juice WRLD and adding the caption: “bye brother, love u dawg… rip.”

Rapper Juice Wrld Dead After Seizure

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Juice Wrld has tragically died after a medical incident at Los Angeles airport earlier today (December 8th).

According to reports, the 21-year-old rapper inside of Chicago’s Midway Airport.

Witnesses say the “Lucid Dreams” hitmaker was fine when he boarded his private jet from California. 

But after he stepped off aircraft, Juice Wrld had a seizure and started bleeding from the mouth.

Juice Wrld, real name Jarad Anthony Higgins, was rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately, he lost consciousness and died shortly after arriving for treatment.

The Chicago native’s debut studio album, Goodbye & Good Riddance, was certified platinum.

The late Florida rapper, real name Jahseh Onfroy, was shot dead at age 20 on June 18, 2018.

Rapper Kendrick Lamar Headlining Hip-Hop Heavy Festival In Dublin

(AllHipHop News) Any festival with Kendrick Lamar on the bill is a win.

The star-studded bill for Longitude Festival has just been announced, with the TDE rapper headlining day one (Friday night).

The three-day festival takes place at Marlay Park on July 3rd through July 5th of next year, located 5.5 miles from Dublin’s city center.

Kendrick Lamar is one of the most well-respected, highly sought-after rap acts of our generation.

K Dot recently performed at Day N Vegas in Las Vegas but has remained a low profile per usual.

Also slated for Friday is London rapper and afro swing star J Hus.

Saturday includes Los Angeles’ own Tyler, The Creator who unleashed his critically-acclaimed project IGOR this year, which debuted at #1 on the US Billboard 200.

UK star AJ Tracey will also make his return to Longitude this day.

Sunday’s headliner is New York’s own A$AP Rocky, who will also be returning to Longitude.

With a close friendship with Tyler, The Creator, it seems the two rappers will for sure shut down the stage both days.

Also on the bill for Sunday is Young Thug, who unleashed one of his best projects to date, So Much Fun, this year.

Other performers include a DaBaby, Aitch, Playboi Carti, Lil Tecca, Mabel, Charli XCX, JAY1, EarthGang, Pop Smoke, IDK, and Santi.

Brother Nature Attacked For Not Speaking Nicely To People?

Popular YouTuber, Brother Nature was assaulted at a pizza shop in Miami! 

The 21-year-old was doing a cleanup at the beach and stopped to get food at La Sandwhicherie and was suddenly brutally beaten up by a very angry non-fan.

In a video that has been released on the internet by Twitter user @Phatdabb-gmn, the attacker can be seen kicking Nature, whose real name is Kelvin Pena, as he calling him a n***a.” The attacker also yells that Pena “needs to learn how to speak to people.” Nature also doesn’t fight back in the video which only amps the attacker to keep on punching.

Nature posted on Twitter his frustrations with those who did not choose to help him, instead just pulled out their phones to record.

He also posted a video of himself following the attack. He doesn’t look all that bad but you can things got way out of hand.

 There’s no word on what went down between the two, but I’m assuming he said something that didn’t sit well with his attacker. 

Maybe the guy tried speaking to Nature and he didn’t speak back? Maybe he bumped into him and didn’t say excuse me? Maybe he said something over the internet to offend him? Who knows? 

 

Timbaland Purchases Massive New Mansion

(AllHipHop News) Timbaland deserves to live his best life since he is going down in history as one of the most legendary producers to ever do it.

Timbo just splashed on a new crib — a mansion in Coral Gables retailing for $7.9 million.

The Virginia native is best known for creating hits for everyone, ranging from Aaliyah and Missy Elliott to Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake.

According to The Miami Herald, the 47-year-old purchased another house to add to his collection of Miami residential properties.

The new crib has 7 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms over an 8,600-square-foot spread, located at 5400 Hammock Drive, in the Coral Gables gated community of Hammock Lakes.

The property was initially listed in May with an initial asking price of $8.6 million.

Back in January 2018, Timbaland purchased 3 units at the 53-story luxury condo tower Aria on the Bay, for $8 million.

Timbaland also owns a 7-bedroom mansion in Florida which he purchased back in 2004 for $3.5 million.

In February, Timbaland sold one of his properties at a loss, just to get out of a battle with a squatter who tried to take over the property.

He is not playing when it comes to these cribs!

Azealia Banks Trashes White Gay Men In The Industry!

Azealia Banks is back at it again with her shenanigans and sh*t talking and this time it’s directed towards white gay men.

Banks is upset about a magazine article in the “Gay Times” and took to Instagram, as she always does, to express her concerns.

Just recently, Frank Ocean opened a PrEP+ club in New York promoting the pre-exposure HIV medication. The club basically is supposed to pay homage to what the 1980s NYC club scene would be like if it (PrEP) would have been invented back then.

This didn’t sit right with Azealia at all as she called him “evil” and a “d######” and encouraged her gay fans to not partake in that “PrEP sh*t.” 

She thinks it’s dumb to promote HIV prevention to gay men and encourages them to just be responsible so they won’t have to take a pill and they can “f*ck whoever they want.”

In true Azealia fashion, that didn’t last long and she apologized for her actions saying it wasn’t her place and it was insensitive.

She is now upset about a recent article written about herin the LGBTG magazine, Gay Times. W

I’m pretty sure we’re all used to Ms. Bank’s public outbursts. She’s came for some of our faves in the past and quite frankly, were all sick of it.

After reading her go back and forth with herself, it leads many to question if she is ever really sorry.

Do you think she’s doing this for attention? It wouldn’t be the first time her comments got her in some pretty f*cked up situations. She completely targeted an entire race and group of people to prove a point after she issued a half-ass apology.

Nick Cannon Tells Eminem To Bring His Wheelchair To Rap Battle

(AllHipHop News) Nick Cannon is a machine: hosting MTV’s “Wild N Out,” on-air at Power 106’s Nick Cannon Mornings, being a father, filming “Masked Singer,” and so much more.

Now, he’s revisiting his beef with Eminem which began back in 2009.

Nick Cannon posted a photo of the cover art to Fat Joe’s new album titled Family Ties, showing friendly support as most artists in the hip-hop game do when their peers drop a project.

But in the caption, he calls out Eminem (once again) for his verse on “Lord Above” off Joe’s project.

Em spits, “I know me and Mariah didn’t end on a high note/But that other dude’s whipped-that pu##y got him neutered / Tried to tell him this chick’s a nut job before he got his jewels clipped / Almost got my caboose kicked/Fool, quit/You not gonna do s##t/I let her chop my balls off too before I lose to you, Nick.”

Em, who has infamously feuded with Nick’s baby mama and ex-wife Mariah Carey, called out Em over his age.
