(AllHipHop News) A man in Chicago who was exonerated of murder after being convicted as a young teen is back in the headlines.
Thaddeus Jimenez, who is a member of the Simon City Royals, was just 14-years-old when he was convicted of shooting and killing a 19-year-old in Chicago, back in 1993.
First, the teenager was locked up first in a juvenile detention center and then sent to an adult prison, where he served almost 16 years in prison.
However, Jimenez was freed in 2013 and eventually won a $25 million judgment against the city, after flaws in his original trial were uncovered and new witnesses came forth, to identify a different triggerman.
Regrettably, Jimenez has used most of his money to rebuild his Simon City Royals gang.
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Jimenez would pay gang members $50,000 in recruitment bonuses, in addition to doling out cash to gang members who wore the gang’s logo tattooed on their faces.
In addition to buying his gang members luxury vehicles like Range Rovers and Porsches, Jimenez wasted a good portion of his money bonding other gangsters out of jail for various crimes.
When the gang was on the hunt for rivals, they reportedly refused to listen to rap music.
Jimenez is currently on trial for his role in a gang-related shooting in August of 2015.
Jimenez and a Simon City Royals gang member named Jose Roman were cruising the streets, looking for a mark, when they ran into an old associate named Earl Casteel.
During a video Roman taped of the shooting, he “explained how opera was their music of choice when looking for targets to shoot, unlike other ‘wannabe rappin’-ass n—as.,’” according to the Chicago-Sun Times.
When Casteel went to the side of Jimenez’ droptop Mercedes-Benz, Roman shot him in the legs, without provocation.
Casteel eventually won a $6 million verdict, while both Jose Roman and Thaddeus Jimenez facing is facing up to 10 years in prison for his role in the crime.
Additionally, the Chicago Sun-Times reports that he has blown his entire $25 million settlement, but he’s allegedly still running the Simon City Royals gang from jail.
(AllHipHop News) Meek Mill has remained mostly quiet as the Nicki Minaj versus Remy Ma battle played out.
A week ago, the Philadelphia native even shared an Instagram post with the caption, “meek don’t say sh-t.”
Since that time, Meek’s ex Minaj dropped a new record titled “No Frauds” featuring his rival Drake.
The track appeared to contain more Drizzy lyrics directed at the Dreamchasers leader.
Not long after “No Frauds” was released Meek uploaded a couple of Instagram posts that could be taken as a response to Minaj and Drake’s latest collaboration.
One photo features Meek sitting in a Rolls-Royce Wraith with a smirk on his face.
The caption was simply the “?” emoji, which typically signifies being emotionless.
He followed that with an IG post of audio from Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs’ rant on The Notorious B.I.G.’s “My Downfall.”
Puff can be heard saying:
Y’all motherf-ckers live off of negativity. What y’all n-ggas need to get through your motherf-cking heads is that, y’all f-cking with some n-ggas that’s on a higher motherf-cking level. We don’t give a f-ck about what you think about us, how you feel about us, what you got to say about us. We gon keep doing our motherf-cking thing. From now till the year three thousand b-tches!
(AllHipHop Rumors) It’s fair to say that even with Nicki Minaj’s late response, she still lost this one.
As you know everyone under the sun has been weighing in on the Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma beef.
Lady Luck still seemingly has a bit of light animosity towards Remy Ma as the two previously battled in a few of the most high-profiled female rap battles. Because of this, she wasn’t one to bite her tongue on her thoughts about the female emcee beef.
According to Lady Luck, Remy Ma is still wack and she can’t “ride beats.” She also feels like Remy’s “ShETHER” diss was a track of dope insults, but she felt like Remy’s delivery was poor and she sounded like she was out of breath and reading a piece of paper.
Lady Luck also highlighted something else! She claims that Remy Ma has had it out for Nicki Minaj since she was in jail, so it seems like Remy was just looking for an opportunity to bust at Nicki! She also claims that all female rappers hated on Nicki at one point.
“First of all, she’s been sick that Nicki been hot since she was in jail. I’m not going to lie, I was salty too back in the day until I found Jesus and God said be happy for yourself. But, we all was. Shut up female rappers. All of us were mad at Nicki and especially cause she wasn’t f##### with nobody either. We was all banding together. We was all mad at you Nicki. Remy been throwing shots since she was in jail. Then you come out, waiting and throwing shots at her on different songs. My man was in the studio when she was recording one of their songs and Fat Joe told her to chill. She been trying to come for Nicki head. This is not nothing new………. It’s not an obsession, it’s just you’re mad about who is hot. It just makes sense. She was just waiting for a minute. Even if Nicki been throwing subliminals cause you’ve thrown like seventeen. And now you release an eight-minute record about the b-tch? And then you release “Another One” cause you wasn’t done?”
What are your thoughts? Who is the better female emcee between the three?
(AllHipHop News) A 17-year-old who was born without a jaw is living his dream of being a rapper, thanks to some help from a member of the local Hip-Hop community in Phoenix.
Isaiah Acosta was born mute, and without a jaw and has never even tasted food.
He communicates through a combination of sign language and text messaging.
But the teenager’s vision of becoming a rapper has been actualized, thanks to an artist known as Trap House.
The pair produced the song and music video “Oxygen to Fly,” which has racked up tens of millions of views since the project was published yesterday (March 9).
The video was funded by the Children’s Miracle Network.
The duo will make an appearance at SXSW with the video’s director, Torben Bernhard, tomorrow (March 11).
(AllHipHop Features) In part two of my conversation with Raekwon, the Hip Hop legend addresses whether his upcoming The Wild album could possibly be followed by a third installment in the Only Built 4 Cuban Linx… series.
The original LP hit store shelves in 1995 and has gone on to be regularly cited as a seminal body of work by rap enthusiasts. It’s 2009 sequel was well-received by the culture as well.
The Chef shares his thoughts about the next Wu album during our discussion. Rae also reflects on fan love, Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s classic Grammy moment, and his lofty musical legacy.
I know you’re focused on The Wild right now, but you’ve talked about maybe doing a third Cuban Linx. Is that still the plan?
If it happens, it happens. Right now, I can’t see the future. But it may happen when it’s time. It just gotta make sense to me and my world. I feel like if it’s going to come, you guys will be the first ones to know. Part 2 bust my ass. I ain’t gonna front because it was challenging at that time. The record took a long time to really get to that level.
Was it because of the name?
It was definitely because of the name. That record is looked at as one of the top 5 greatest albums of all time on the Hip Hop side of things. I didn’t want to go in there, just do anything and call it that. Rae is never going to do that when it comes to doing trilogies.
I see right now that they’re trying to do Scarface over. That’s like doing Cuban Linx over, in my eyes. It’s like, “Okay, what are y’all going to do? Who is going to play the roles?” That sh-t has to be serious because if you f-ck it up you’re going to disappoint people.
It’s the same feeling. So if I do it, it would be over after that. There won’t be no Cuban Linx 5 and all this sh-t. I’m the type of n-gga to just do one, two, and three – if we get to three. I doubt that we may do it because I always want to do it the best I can do it. I’m not there right now. I’m here right now.
Do you have to be in a certain mindset for that particular persona?
Yeah, that’s like envisioning the drug world again. We’ll see. I love those kinds of movies, because I call them movies. At the end of the day, you never know.
There was a rumor going around that when Martin Shkreli bought the Wu-Tang album [Once Upon A Time In Shaolin] there was a clause in the contract that said the only way anyone could get the album was if Bill Murray and members of Wu-Tang steal the album from Shkreli. It flew around the internet and people believed it was true.
Nah, I never heard about that. I had no knowledge of that.
[laughs] See why I tell you we’re living in “the wild” right now?
The Grammys were on recently, and it made me think about that classic Ol’ Dirty Bastard moment.
God bless him. That’s my heart.
He actually “Kanye’d” an award show before Kanye was even around. Were you there that night?
When he rushed the stage? I was there. That was the funniest sh-t in the world. It was like I was embarrassed but at the same time, I loved it. Because he’s the type of dude that would do that. Do you remember that commercial where they say, “Mikey likes it!”? Mikey just don’t care. It was classic.
It was a fun time. [ODB] and Sticky [Fingaz] from Onyx got together. Me and Sticky even talked about it later on. He told me, “Rae, I was the n-gga that gassed him to do it.” I said, “You was the n-gga that did it?” He was like, “Word.” We were just laughing.
When Dirty feels that he wants to do something, he’s going to do it. That day he was clean. His braids were official. He had on a nice suit. He spent some bread, and he made it his business to be seen. That’s how he always is. He’s always been the type of individual that’s not shy. He’s straight up.
There had been times when we had rehearsals, and we’re sitting in front of a bunch of people, business executives, and owners. He’d come in with his crazy ass attitude and make everybody laugh. The next thing you know, he’d brighten the room up with his realness. That’s how he always was.
The Wu has a very devoted fan base. Do you have a memorable moment with a diehard Wu-Tang Clan fan?
I would say the most memorable moments are when you see the fans get those tattoos of the “W” on them. Recently, I saw a fan with a picture of me on his arm. I respected it so much because he’s gonna die with that, I assume. Maybe he might take it off next year if he don’t like me no more. [laughs]
To me, it’s one of the biggest things to see people brand our logo on their skin or name their children after us. That’s enough for me to invite you to dinner and just chill with you. Now you’ve become like a brother or sister to me when I see things like that.
I love my legends with the same passion, but I never thought about putting a tattoo on me. That to me is respect and shows they understand our story. That’s memorable to me. It makes me feel like, “Damn Rae, you really went from the bottom up. You touched people like how Martin Luther King changed the world. You changed the world in so many ways.” It’s a great feeling.
Now that we did a classic (unreleased) for @Raekwon we got the call, we are officially working on @WuTangClan next album. Dreams come true
You worked with J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League for The Wild. They sent out a tweet saying after they worked with you, they began working on the next Wu album. Have you recorded anything for that album?
I didn’t record anything yet. I think the production side of things is still being built. I think they’re working on it, but it hasn’t hit my desk yet. We’ve been scattered and doing different things.
But I did get some wind of it that they were sending production through the pipelines to see what’s going on. I know it’s going to be dope. I can’t wait to hear it.
Is Ghostface still spearheading that project?
Yes, that’s something that he was definitely passionate about. I got his back 100 percent on whatever it may be. Even though he may be spearheading it, we’re all still going to put our input on it. It’s just good to know he’s passionate in that department when it comes to wanting to do it.
We all got each other’s back. We’re all going to put our foot in it at some point to make it even iller. It’s gotta be super ill. So get ready.
It seems like the level of respect for 90’s era Hip Hop has increased even more recently. Fat Joe and A Tribe Called Quest had big years last year. These guys came out in the early 90’s. Then you have The Breaks on VH1 which is based on that same time period. At the time you were living it, did you realize that you guys were making something that would be talked about and revisited for decades?
It wasn’t 100 percent accurate that would be what it was. I guess we were so passionate about what we stood on that we believed we would be around forever, and it just panned out that way.
But it’s all about what you put into the business and how you add on. I think the guys you said – they’ve been adding on for so long. Not only being successful but also giving others help. That stretches out your brand too.
The guys you named have been around because they stayed attached to the business. They supported the artists. Look at Joe. He was the one that discovered DJ Khaled. Look at where Khaled is today. I’m proud of Khaled for going where he’s gone with his music and becoming a master at what he’s good at.
So I guess when we’re saying things like, “we’re gonna be around for a while,” it’s because of the passion that we have for what we’re doing. We’re all former hustlers in the streets. To be able to get away from that and find a new hustle – which is this music – that’s beautiful.
Every artist wants to be able to have that kind of run. It’s a great feeling, but we couldn’t have called it back then all the way. We only went with our hearts. Sometimes that’s what you gotta do. Just go with your heart. Nobody else has to feel it, but if you feel it, that’s all that counts.
(AllHipHop News) After the world waited two weeks to hear Nicki Minaj respond to Remy Ma’s diss track “ShETHER,” the Young Money star is now giving her rival 72 hours to come back at her with a hit record.
Nicki released three new songs overnight, one of which was a track called “No Frauds” featuring Drake and Lil Wayne.
The cut included a single Nicki verse that was directed at Rem.
She followed the new track with an Instagram post explaining her counter-move in the feud.
“Diss records can’t be lies. Great diss records are FACTS. But here [at] Young Money, we don’t do diss records, we drop HIT RECORDS & diss u ON them. I got a bunch more on c###,” wrote Minaj.
She added, “Stay in your bum ass place. Jealousy gets u nowhere.”
Nicki even offered a $500,000 challenge to Remy Ma.
“Now I got a countdown of my own for Sheneneh. U got 72 hours to drop a hit and I’ll give u half a million dollars if u can book ANY show or interview [without] mentioning the Queen name,” posted Minaj.
The comment section for the IG post was turned off, so users were not able to react to the message directly under Nicki’s video.
(AllHipHop News) Migos found themselves in hot water after comments attributed to the Atlanta group were viewed by some as homophobic.
During an interview with Rolling Stone, Migos member Quavo was quoted responding to the news fellow Atlanta native iLoveMakonnen revealed he was gay by saying, “Damn, Makonnen! They supported him?”
He also questioned Makonnen’s supposed history of selling drugs because of his homosexuality.
The “Bad & Boujee” performers later issued a statement claiming they “are fans of Makonnen’s music” and “love all people, gay or straight.”
They also apologized if they offended anyone.
Quavo again addressed the situation in a cover story for Billboard.
The publication reads:
Talking to Quavo, it’s clear he’s not outright homophobic. “If you real from the heart, you real from the heart,” he says. “That ain’t got nothing to do with no sex or gender. It’s 2017, and we all living.” But he still doesn’t quite seem to get it. “When [Makonnen’s] music came out I thought it was hard, so if he would’ve come out the same way…” He pauses. “I got a record with Frank Ocean [“Slide,” a Calvin Harris track featuring Migos and Ocean]. That closes my case.”
(AllHipHop News) Detroit rapper Eminem is advancing his partnership with Carhartt, which will end up benefitting local students aiming to get into the music business.
A limited run of the clothing line was introduced on Black Friday, and now the E13 brand is showcasing more exclusive products.
Starting this weekend, Carhartt’s flagship store in Detroit, Michigan will carry a new batch of clothing.
The latest releases include a black hoodie, a black T-shirt, and a black baseball cap, emblazoned with the signature E13 logo, which pays respect to Detroit’s 313 area code.
Now that Nic has fired back with “No Frauds” with Drake and Lil Wayne, the Hot 97 DJ is still taking issue with Minaj.
Flex posted a picture of Nicki’s ex-boyfriend Meek Mill on Instagram with a caption that reads, “The face u make when your ex jumps on a track with your enemy and it’s trash!”
Over on Twitter, Flex also shared his thoughts on Nicki’s latest clapback at Rem as well.
“Keep it a buck… I give her respect for responding with bars…. but [Nicki Minaj] didn’t come out the winner of this battle!” wrote Funk Flex.
However, he did give credit to Nicki Minaj and Drake for responding to opponents on radio friendly songs.
“Hella smart!” replied Flex to a tweet from Deion Sanders Jr where he mentioned the Young Money artists create diss tracks that will be replayed for years.
(AllHipHop Rumors) You know this is about to get very, very messy. It seems like Remy Ma and Papoose (The Beast From The East) are going to do a lyrical drive by on Nicki Minaj that will try to take out Drake and Wayne too! Whoa. And they are seemingly calling them all Culture Vultures. Now, is Nicki that? Wayne? Drake? I don’t know, but it appears they are going to take that position.
I have not heard the three new Nicki songs, but they are not getting a great response from the Hip-Hop community. I hope the songs are good, but it seems that they lack that special sauce when it comes to rapping and battling. That’s me being nice.
Lets see what these two Black Lovers have to say. Pap has been itching to get in this from day one, allegedly. Clearly, these guys have a way of dealing with rap beef and Young Money has another way. So…the plot thickens.
Can Remy and Pap win this? Or have they already won? What are we doing? This is weird!
“If you do the work and the grind, the person that you want to talk to is going to find you” –Kelly Jackson
Very early on, music executive, Kelly Jackson, also known as Kelly Kinkaid, understood her purpose. When taking the leap of faith into the entertainment industry, she made the decision to never compromise who she was or take shortcuts to get to where she wanted to be. The Michigan native symbolizes what the power of experience, knowledge, and networking, can do to create your own lane and how always staying true to yourself is the best form of power.
Through faith and fearlessness, Kelly developed an extensive resume working for companies like Columbia Records, Epic Records, TreMedia, V.Brown & Co., and StepSon Music/Tommy Boy. She’s also amassed a client list that includes the legendary Paul Mooney, Deborah Cox, Lil Scrappy, Jim Jones, OJ Da Juiceman, Saigon, Locksmith, DJ Jazzy Joyce and MTV news senior correspondent & SiriusXM personality, Sway Calloway. Jackson is currently the supervising producer for Sway In The Morning Show and Managing Partner at Overdeliver Ent.
Allhiphop.com had the pleasure of speaking with Kelly about her journey through the industry with the highs and lows of owning her power, womanhood, and expertise within the intense male-dominated world of entertainment and Hip-Hop.
AllHipHop: Could you describe your journey a bit? How did you get to where you are now?
Kelly Jackson: Well, I’m a native of Flint, Michigan. I went to Jackson State University, which was a great experience, so I always knew more was to come in life. I had an opportunity to move to New York, although it was never in my plans– it was in God’s plan. Since I’ve always been a go-getter and entrepreneur at my core, I got a full-time job and juggled multiple record labels internships when I first moved to New York, just for the experience. One thing I had to realize on my journey was to understand that it’s not a sprint, but it’s a marathon and when I finally realized that and understood everything happens for a reason…I was good. Today, I know I am still a student and still learning, but everything I’ve experienced on this journey has made me who I am.
AllHipHop: What was your childhood like and how do you feel that prepared you for this career?
Kelly Jackson: Being from the midwest, I believe we have the best ears because we are able to embrace music from all coasts without being bias, plus we bring the soul. But just particularly where I’m from, I was able to have a balanced life. I came with a different lens.
AllHipHop: Throughout your career, can you describe a moment adversity?
Kelly Jackson: Everyone deals with adversity in this industry, but for me, it happened when the change of the label structures occurred. The jobs weren’t as plentiful and that made the record industry not as fun anymore for me because it became more competitive. So, I left New York with the intention of going to law school and started working in radio in Flint, MI as an on-air personality. I did begin to miss New York. I loved it there and loved the music industry on the executive side. Although going back, it was a lot more competitive, leaving New York helped me appreciate the industry and the privileges I had within it. Many strive to just get their foot into the door, and it was important for me to get back and live out my dreams and aspirations I had in the entertainment industry.
AllHipHop: Through that moment of adversity, or just in general, what kept you from giving up?
Kelly Jackson: I’m not a quitter, and the great thing about the industry is, that there is always something, you can find to do. I am a marketer and can market an orange if I need to. People have to understand, if you want to be in the mix, there is a process to this. Many want the easy route, but I’ve always looked at the bigger picture. Some people will only look at the immediate circumstances instead of looking at the long term benefits.
AllHipHop: How does family play a role in your journey through this industry? (parents, siblings, marriage, kids, etc.)
Kelly Jackson: In 2011 my father was dying and I was literally home weekly. During that time, I had to truly realize that this is just a job and if the people I work with don’t get it, then I don’t need to be working there. I just made sure my work was done because nobody wants to hear your excuses.
AllHipHop: No matter what the excuse is right?
Kelly Jackson: Exactly. So if I have to stay up 4 hours later than the next person…then I have to do it.
AllHipHop: What about any relationships? That is a major factor that sometimes women in this industry definitely have to think about.
Kelly Jackson: As far as my personal life, you won’t see on my social media 50 million pics hugged up with someone, but if you respect your private or personal life, you make other people respect that side too. As women, we definitely are held at a different regard, especially when it comes to image, and significant others.
AllHipHop: Do you see much woman empowerment and support within the industry? Kelly Jackson: There are pockets of supportive women. We support each other in small ways. You don’t have to be someone’s best friend to support them. You can say hey, I really liked what you said right there or anything uplifting. It’s ok to give compliments, we actually need to continue to encourage each other. We as women need to continue to be secure in ourselves and to understand what’s for you, is for you. The men do it…
AllHipHop: Balancing work, family and health can be crazy especially as women, what tips would you share with other women?
Kelly Jackson: On Sway in The Morning, I host a segment called “First Aid with Kelly Kinkaid,” and I discuss all different health topics: weight loss, depression, and others, and every week it touches me when I get a tweet or Instagram message thanking me for the information and motivation to stay healthy. We have to make sure we take care of ourselves. We are always the nurturer, but we have to take the time to nurture ourselves too.
AllHipHop: Who would be your top 3 powerful women, and what about each inspires you?
Kelly Jackson: Sylvia Rhone. I read about her in an article and I wrote her when I first moved to New York and she wrote me back! I was so excited. Then there is Devi Dev, Miss Diddy, Tracy G., Nicky G., Karen Civil. I love the spirit of all the new millennials representing now. Also, my mother, Dr. Ernestine Jackson of course.
AllHipHop: Is there something you would like to share as we embrace our womanhood, not only during the month of March but all year round?
Kelly Jackson: Understand that it’s our time and we must continue to be role models. We must combat the current images of women not getting along, fighting or being fixated on material things with strong and positive images that the younger generation of females can strive to become. We must be examples to the younger generation. I also would love to kill all the pettiness and insecurities we have. It’s ok to love and complement one another. We all can be VPs and Presidents. We just must live by example.
(AllHipHop News) Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs feels “blessed” to have his Bad Boy Records reunion documentary premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in his native New York.
The hip-hop mogul’s new project, titled “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop: The Bad Boy Story,” gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at his record label and the impact the 1997 murder of his protege Notorious B.I.G. had on the company.
The film, directed by Daniel Kaufman, also chronicles Diddy’s efforts to bring his crew back together for their first reunion shows in Brooklyn last year.
The Bad Boy Family Reunion gigs, which expanded to a full tour, featured Lil Kim, Faith Evans, Mase, French Montana, Total, 112, and Mario Winans, among others.
“Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop: The Bad Boy Story” will now make its debut at Robert De Niro’s 2017 Tribeca Film Festival next month and Diddy couldn’t be more proud.

(AllHipHop News) Embattled comedian Katt Williams has been ordered to hand over $86,000 to a retail employee he allegedly assaulted last year.
‘The funnyman was arrested in February, 2016, after an argument with a worker at a pool supply store in Gainesville, Georgia turned violent.
Williams reportedly hurled an object at the clerk, identified as Paul Love, and then allegedly attacked him, punching him in the head.
Love had to be hospitalized and he subsequently filed suit against the actor, revealing he had undergone brain surgery just 10 weeks before the incident took place.
Williams failed to respond to the legal action, and during a hearing on Wednesday (March 8), a Georgia judge ruled in the plaintiff’s favor.
The comedian had numerous run-ins with the law in 2016, and he recently dodged jail time after being sentenced to 36 months probation for pleading no contest to assault and battery charges relating to a separate bust-up in a Studio City, California restaurant in July of 2016.
That sentencing in December came weeks after another judge in Georgia placed him on five years probation in another case involving guns and drugs, in which he also pleaded no contest.
The “Norbit” star is also due to stand trial for a felony count of robbery after allegedly stealing a camera from a photographer in Beverly Hills, California in 2014, during a night out with now-incarcerated rap mogul Marion ‘Suge’ Knight.
Williams faces seven years behind bars if convicted in that case, in which he has pleaded not guilty.
(AllHipHop News) Reps for rap legend Nas are denying he had anything to do with Remy Ma’s “shETHER” being pulled from the radio and the Internet.
Remy dropped her blistering diss track towards Nicki Minaj a few weeks ago, and ignited a feud between the two emcees, which has taken an interesting twist.
“shETHER” has been pulled from SoundCloud, iTunes, Spotify, and other streaming services.
Nicki Minaj sent out a cryptic tweet stating “Nas was like NAH,” leading to some speculation that her fellow Queens MC had stepped in and helped get Remy’s track pulled off the air.
But a source told TMZ.com, that Nas was fine with the record, but Universal Music Group was not so happy.
The label, which owns Republic, where Nicki is signed through Young Money/Cash Money, had an issue with Remy using Nas’ legendary song “Ether” to make her new song.
Apparently, Remy never even attempted to seek the proper permission.
Interestingly, the same thing happened to Meek Mill when he attempted to reply to Nicki’s Young Money labelmate Drake, with his reply song “Wanna Know.”
(AllHipHop News) Rapper Waka Flocka Flame has been found not guilty in a 2014 weapons arrest.
The “No Hands” star, real name Juaquin Malphurs, was arrested in Georgia after customs officials found a loaded gun in his luggage as he attempted to board a plane at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in October, 2014.
Malphurs was charged with carrying a weapon in a prohibited place.
According to the rapper’s defense attorney Drew Findling, he was acquitted today Thursday (March 9).
The 30-year-old is scheduled to perform in Panama City, Florida on Thursday night.
(AllHipHop Rumors) It looks like Nicki Minaj has been getting it in in studios in Paris with one of her longtime producers.
Word on the street is that she’s also finally going to release a response track to Remy Ma tomorrow also.
“What I do know is this..there is new music from Nicki coming Friday. Maybe it’s a diss record, maybe it’s not,” said Power 106 personality Justin Credible.
Also in #TweetAndDeleteFiles, Nicki Minaj tweeted a tweet that said,
“Nas was like NAH.”
It’s a lot going on man. I still bet you Nicki ain’t gonna drop a response track to Remy though. She may release new music tomorrow, with some indirect disses, but I doubt we’ll ever get a Remy response.
As far as that Nas tweet. Nicki was obviously trying to say that Nas was saying Remy’s “ShETHER” wasn’t the move. Maybe she deleted it because she’s scared, or because Remy says she’s done with it, and Nicki is hoping it will all die down soon. LOL.
I’m so disappointed in you Nicki!
What I do know is this..there is new music from Nicki coming Friday. Maybe it's a diss record, maybe it's not 🤷🏻♂️ @Power106LA#LaLeakers
