Lil Pump’s “Gucci Gang” Video Reportedly Upsets Archdiocese Of L.A.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LfJnj66HVQ

(AllHipHop News) “Gucci Gang” by Lil Pump is currently the #4 song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and the tune’s video has accumulated over 247 million views on YouTube. While the clip continues to collect numbers, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles is apparently bothered by the visuals.

According to TMZ, the Roman Catholic authority is not pleased Pump shot “Gucci Gang” at the Blessed Sacrament School. Representatives of the Archdiocese claim they were unaware of the video’s content or that it would be shot at the location.

The website reports:

A spokesperson for the Archdiocese of L.A. tells TMZ … the school failed to follow filming policy and procedures, which are extremely strict at all of its schools and parishes. The Archdiocese had zero clue Lil Pump would be rolling up to the school’s parking lot in a Lamborghini with a blunt in one hand and double-cupping in the other.

The “Gucci Gang” video features weed smoking, lean drinking, references to cocaine use, and a teacher getting hit with a bag of marijuana. A food fight also breaks out at one point.

Lil Pump released his self-titled mixtape in October. The project includes contributions from Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, Rick Ross, Lil Yachty, and more.

Eminem Addresses White Privilege & Racism On “Untouchable” Single

(AllHipHop News) Eminem displayed his political views during a highly publicized performance at the BET Hip Hop Awards in October. Marshall Mathers’ rhymes were unapologetic disses directed at Donald Trump.

Those cypher bars led to some observers wondering if Em’s latest album, Revival, would be full of songs about social issues. The Shady Records head gave a taste of what to expect with his new single.

On “Untouchable,” Eminem raps about white privilege, racism, and their effects on African-Americans. The track is reminiscent of “White America” which appeared on 2002’s The Eminem Show.

Revival is scheduled for release on December 15.

Kendrick Lamar Releases ‘DAMN’ Collectors Edition

(AllHipHop News) As 2017 raps up, Kendrick Lamar is offering his fans a special collectors edition of the DAMN album. The new version features the original tracklist in reverse order.

“I think like a week after the album came out, they realized you can listen to the album backward. It plays as a full story and even a better rhythm,” Lamar told MTV in August. “It’s one of my favorite rhythms and tempos within the album. It’s something that we definitely premeditate while we be in the studio.”

He added, “The initial vibe listening from the top all the way to the bottom is just this aggression and this attitude. You know with ‘DNA,’ and exposing who I really am. You listen from the back-end, and it’s almost the duality and the contrast of the intricate Kendrick Lamar. Both of these pieces are who I am.”

Vic Mensa Wants To Play Prince

Rising hip-hop star Vic Mensa has put himself forward as a potential contender to portray Prince in a future biopic about the late music icon.

The “U Mad” rapper is convinced he has the same charm as the tragic singer and would be perfect for the job – even though he currently has no professional acting experience.

“I think I should play Prince in the biopic,” Mensa told online outlet Montreality. “Prince is one of my biggest idols of all time, and he’s the real King of Pop.

“The reason why I’d be able to kill the role as Prince is because I got that mouthpiece. Prince was butter smooth with it and I feel like I could do it.”

Mensa, 24, may have to wait a while for his dream role to come around as there are no present plans to bring Prince back to life on the big screen.

He died from an accidental prescription drug overdose in April, 2016, aged 57.

Kanye West Unveils Yeezy Season 6 Fashion Line

(AllHipHop News) Kanye West has launched his Yeezy Season 6 fashion collection with a little help from his wife Kim Kardashian.

An update published on his Yeezy Supply website shows pictures of Kim modeling items from his range in the brand’s signature array of beige and grey colors.

The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star has recently been spotted out and about wearing the designs, which include sportswear, coats, high-heeled shoes, vest tops, dresses and tracksuit bottoms.

The launch represents a much smaller debut than Yeezy Season 5 or 4.

After he was hospitalized with exhaustion in November last year, just days after behaving erratically at a concert in Sacramento, California, Kanye has cut back on making public appearances – and even abandoned his Saint Pablo tour.

Last month he returned to the stage for the first time since his hiatus, joining fellow rapper Kid Cudi at a concert in Chicago, Illinois.

A Conversation With Q Money On Going Viral, Cheez App Challenge & More

(AllHipHop Features) Going viral on the internet in 2017 is nearly the equivalent of having a music video break on MTV or BET back in the day. One trending social network clip can turn anyone into an overnight celebrity.

AllHipHop: How did you first get started making music?

Q Money: I first got started rapping about a year and a half ago. I used to sell drugs. Me and my partner used to always go to the studio. That’s where we conducted business and had people meet us because he was really into rapping. There was a time where I caught a case. So I was like, “I’m done with this. I have to stop selling drugs and find something else to do.”

So I’m just in the studio, and one day I was just like, “Let me hop on this song.” They were struggling on the last verse, so they said, “Okay, go head.” So I hopped on there and spoke my piece. Everybody was surprised like, “How long you been rapping.” I was like, “This is my first time.”

Then I let my momma hear it. She said, “That sounds good, Q. I think you should make a song yourself.” So then I ended up making a song. I started getting addicted to recording. Every time I got like $25 I would record a song. I just had money, but I went broke ‘cause I caught this case. I had to pay for lawyers to fight the case. It was to the point that I was scrambling to get that $25 to go to the studio.

AllHipHop: At that point, did you just start putting music online?

Q Money: Nah, I never had the courage to put the music up. I was sitting on all that music. I didn’t know if people were really gonna listen to my music. One day I finally got the courage to put my song up. I’m thinking when I put my song up I’m about to crash the internet with 700 followers. I finally put the link out and only got 130 views on the song, so I was disappointed. I was thinking I would at least get 1000 views.

I saw the result from just putting “click the link in my bio.” So I said I gotta find something else to do to separate me from the rest of the people. I found something else, that was dancing to my own music. I was known for turning the whole club up, so I started doing that to my own music on Instagram.

AllHipHop: At what point did you realize “Work” and the #QMoneyChallenge was taking off?

Q Money: When I got out of jail, I started recording more music. I recorded “Work” and then did a dance video to it with a real mirror in my hand. It went viral.

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bb5MKVIDcJX/?taken-by=q_moneyyyy

AllHipHop: What was your reaction to seeing Teyana Taylor and Tony Romo talking about your dance and your music?

Q Money: That was big for me. That was the last two people I would expect to see talking about the dance and the music. I was like, “Wow. That’s crazy.” It motivates me because I’m thinking, “If I got legendary people talking about me, then I’m going to be legendary.”

AllHipHop: There was also a video going around of Meek Mill checking out your music. Did you get the chance to talk to him?

Q Money: I actually talked to him right before he sent that video and right before he went through everything that he’s got going on with court. I talked to him right before that. He was telling me he was gonna see if the judge would let him come down to Atlanta. If he did come down to Atlanta, we were gonna link up. I wrote him a letter. I’m waiting for him to respond. They confirmed he got the letter, so I’ll still be keeping in touch.

AllHipHop: You put out a collaboration with Cuban Doll. How did that come together?

Q Money: We was in the studio. The first day I met her, I was feeling her. We put the beat on and it just went down like that.

AllHipHop: Did you shoot your shot?

Q Money: I definitely shot my shot. You know I shot my shot.

AllHipHop: How’d that turn out?

Q Money: [laughs] We don’t kiss and tell. You know females like when somebody can dance.

AllHipHop: Do you have any other collaborations on the way?

Q Money: I got a few with Money Man. I got a few with my fellow Cleveland artists – my brother Chrisbo185. He’s from my area. We got some stuff coming. I’m going through a tracklist right now to see what other people I should put on my songs.

AllHipHop: You talked about working with other Cleveland artists. Cleveland has a long history in Hip Hop with acts like Bone Thugs, Kid Cudi, and MGK, but the city hasn’t seen that big wave like you’ve seen with other cities. What are your thoughts on the Hip Hop scene there right now?

Q Money: It’s on the rise.

AllHipHop: Do you see the city having its breakout moment like other cities in the last few years?

Q Money: I definitely do if we all support each other and stick together. We got a lot of different artists. There are signed artists coming out of Cleveland.

AllHipHop: What’s your relationship with TIG Records? Are you signed to them?

Q Money: No, I’m not signed. I’m weighing my options. But I knew somebody on TIG that’s close to the label that I trust, but I never did nothing like that. It was one of my friends that I been had a relationship with.

AllHipHop: So you are open to possibly signing with a label?

Q Money: Yeah.

AllHipHop: How did you connect with Cheez for the dance challenge?

Q Money: I met them when we were out in LA. We were throwing ideas around. We came up with an idea to do a Dance Dance Revolution type thing. Then we said let’s make it happen and we went from there.

AllHipHop: Have you played the game yourself?

Q Money: I was just playing it. I’m about to hop back on there.

AllHipHop: What were your scores like?

Q Money: I got like a 5000. It’s up there.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BcK1q20nDhx/?taken-by=thecheezapp

AllHipHop: Can we expect more from that partnership with Cheez?

Q Money: Definitely. Everything’s going good right now. A lot of people are engaging with the app, so it’s looking like it definitely could be more on the way.

AllHipHop: Earlier, you talked about going through a tracklist to decide collaborators. Does that mean you have plans to release a full project?

Q Money: Yeah, I’m releasing a full project real soon. I don’t know the exact date, but it’s gonna be within the next two months or next month and a half.

Is Amber Rose Pregnant?

(AllHipHop Rumors) Muva Amber Rose hasn’t been making as many public appearances as we are used to seeing, and this has folks wondering could she be pregnant with a little 21 Savage?!

Rose was spotted hosting auditions for “Chocolate Rose” in the Chocolate Lounge at Sugar Factory American Brasserie at the Fashion Show Mall in Vegas.

Amber opted for a comfy look at the audition, as she sported athletic gear at the event.

Amber has always been a thick one, but people apparently claimed that she was looking a little thicker at the waist at this event….. like baby bump thick.

21 Savage and Amber Rose already told us that they have smash sessions at least twice a day, so 21 could’ve knocked Muva up.

I still don’t understand them together, but if they like it, I love it.

I can’t lie though, their relationship still feels like an awkward publicity stunt.

Do you think Amber and 21 are expecting?

K. Michelle Responds To Sexual Allegations Against “Mentor” R. Kelly

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mpg2yP33tkw

(AllHipHop News) Before K. Michelle was throwing candles on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, the R&B vocalist was learning the music industry under the tutelage of R. Kelly. She has even referred to the veteran performer as her mentor.

K. Michelle is now getting ready to release Kimberly: The People I Used to Know on December 8, so the chart-topper is making a media run. While speaking with Revolt, the Atlantic Records signee was asked about the longstanding allegations of sexual misconduct against Kelly.

“I respect everything that he’s done for me. I would not be the artist I am today. I wouldn’t know how to record. I wouldn’t know the importance of the music, so my loyalty always has a point to lie within it,” said K. Michelle. “But you’ll never hear me tell another woman what she went through. That happened to me.”

The Memphis native later added, “I’m never gonna tell you what you went through at the hands of a man, at the hands of your abuser… I would just ask women [to] stop taking the side of these men cause they ain’t gonna take yours.”

XXXTentacion’s Anti-Rape Event Gets Cancelled!

(AllHipHop Rumors) Welp! Controversial rapper XXXTentacion thought he was going to get the public on his side with plans to execute his anti-rape event during Art Basel.

Well……..that won’t be happening!

The “A Helping Hand” anti-rape event was supposed to be held today December 7 from 6-9 in Miami, to help the survivors of rape and domestic abuse.

“This is an event for women and men to come and share their own stories in order to help others, to show they are not alone! and to ultimately put our heads together to completely eliminate rape in our country all together!,” said XXXtentacion.

Well, it was all good until the event got cancelled. XXX took to Instagram to explain what went wrong.

“It was my fault completely that the event was cancelled, so I take full responsibility for it. I put the venue address out which caused the venue to get spray painted. So I fully, thoroughly apologize, and I’m going to make sure this happens. Please forgive me…. The performance is going to be separate. So the event is still happening, and I’m doing a free performance free of charge to make up for the fact that I didn’t get this done on time. .I just want to make sure I’m giving you the proper information. The performance is free; it’s going to happen this week. I’m going to do everything in my power to make sure this goes through properly. I’m going to do this free event to make up for this because I’m always going to try to be a man of my word. There was nothing I could do in this situation. So I’m going to do a free performance free of entry. I’m going to have the date and the venue for you sometime this week. I wanna make sure I do this correctly so that way everyone is comfortable telling their stories and are not around a bunch of people that don’t care for them that are there for me. I want this to be correlated properly,” said XXX.

As you know, XXXtentacion is facing up to life in prison for witness tampering and for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend, while she was pregnant. All of a sudden XXX’s ex doesn’t wants to drop the charges, and the prosecutors are calling foul play.

Idc idc, I think XXX did exactly what that girl said he did. I also believe he’s just putting together this event to make himself look innocent, and to get sympathy from the public and his fans.

If he did it, lock his azz up! Plain and simple.

Blue Ivy Reportedly Saved Jay-Z & Beyonce’s Marriage!

(AllHipHop Rumors) Jay-Z and Beyonce successfully got through a cheating scandal that secretly plagued their marriage, but it certainly wasn’t easy.

According to People, an insider says it took Bey a long time to trust Jay again.

“It was very rough for them to stay married. It took Beyoncé a long time to trust again. She was struggling to move on and forgive. But keeping her family together was very important,” said the insider.

Apparently a focus on parenting was the saving grace for the power couple’s marriage.

“If it’s wasn’t for Blue Ivy, they might not be together. It took them years to get to the point where they are now,” added the insider.

The inside source claims that Hov & Bey are very proud that they overcame huge marital issues, and they are happy they were able to move on as a family.

Having the twins also reportedly made them closer.

In a recent interview with The New York Times’ T Magazine, Jay-Z was very transparent about his infidelity and other issues he and Beyonce had faced.

At first it made many say, “How in the world could you cheat on BEYONCE?”, but it’s obvious that Jay is just human like the rest of us.

Do you think they were truly able to move past the infidelity, or do you think that their marriage is just a “business” now?

Phresher Talks Collaborating With Eminem For His ‘Revival’ Album

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=STxqYmqRqYA&feature=youtu.be

(AllHipHop News) The tracklist for Eminem’s forthcoming Revival album shocked some people. Mostly due to the fact that the project is filled with non-rap stars like Beyonce, Ed Sheeran, Alicia Keys, Pink, and Skylar Grey.

There will be one Hip Hop guest act on Revival. Brooklyn’s Phresher is set to appear on “Chloraseptic.” The rising spitter sat down with ThisIs50, and he recalled working with his favorite artist.

“I was just hearing a little chatter that Eminem shouted the [“Wait A Minute”] record out. I didn’t see it, so I don’t believe it until [Em’s manager] Paul Rosenberg hits my manager, [and says,] ‘Eminem wants Phresher on a song,’” stated the native New Yorker. He added, “I get in the studio. I do the hook. They say, ‘You gotta verse?’”

According to Phresher, Eminem’s team told him 2 Chainz was on the same track. However, the Atlanta rhymer does not appear on the published tracklist, and Chainz expressed disappointment over being omitted from Revival. He returned to Instagram to post, “Grateful for the opportunity, new music on the way!”

Meek Mill Reportedly Works Multiple Prison Jobs For 19 Cents An Hour

(AllHipHop News) Meek Mill’s legal team is still attempting to get the Philadelphia rapper out of state prison. While he’s still locked up, Meek is apparently staying busy by working multiple jobs.

According to TMZ, the Wins & Losses album creator is part of the general labor crew at Pennsylvania’s Chester State Correctional Institution. Meek is reportedly responsible for cleaning the cell block and prison grounds as well as washing dishes, cooking, and serving meals.

A representative from the prison revealed Meek is making 19 cents per hour. The Dreamchasers leader is also said to be waiting to take therapy courses.

Robert “Meek Mill” Williams was sentenced to 2-4 years for probation violation. Judge Genece Brinkley recently denied his bail request, claiming the entertainer is a “great risk to the safety of others in Philadelphia and throughout the country.”

Meek’s lawyers filed an updated bail motion in Pennsylvania Superior Court. In addition, they have repeatedly accused Brinkley of being biased. There have also been reports the FBI is investigating the judge’s behavior in the case.
