Rich The Kid: Old Artists Feel Intimidated By Younger Artists (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) The generational divide in Hip Hop has become a central topic in the culture.

New school rappers have caught heat from older fans, radio personalities, and veteran artists for what is viewed as a lack of knowledge and respect for previous eras of rap.

In addition, the new sub-genre that is often referred to as “mumble rap” has been the target of many members of Generation X.Atlanta-based rhymer Rich The Kid sat down with VladTV to talk about the relationship between some of the old guard and the new class of rap stars.

Atlanta-based rhymer Rich The Kid sat down with VladTV to talk about the relationship between some of the old guard and the fresh class of rap stars.

“Some other artists – artists that’s been in the game – they feel intimidated by younger artists coming in the game, taking sh-t over,” said Rich. “They’re looking at their numbers and why my sh-t skyrocketing over theirs.”

The “Like This” performer went on to add he still listens to older artists and would like to see people collaborate more.

“Everybody should just be working together and congratulating instead of getting in their feelings and being jealous at younger cats,” stated Rich.

What “Clown Rappers” Are Funkmaster Flex Referring To?

(AllHipHop Rumors) Your “favorite” DJ, instigator, and radio personality the extra one and only Funk Flex is back at it again, taking shots.

Flex took to Twitter to call out some “clown rappers” while stating that on the flip side, bars are back.

“By the way…. bars are back….soooooo u clown rappers are in trouble in 2017!” Flex tweeted.

Flex we are going to need you to call ’em out. Put some names on those clown rappers. It seems pretty obvious that one of the clown rappers Flex is referring to is none other than Lil’ Yachty.

Yachty dissed Flex on a freestyle he did with Hot 97’s fellow personality Ebro. Yachty rapped

“Funkmaster Flex, please stop talking bout me. Unless you finna play my songs, then don’t talk about me. Old man, here’s a bar. I hope you fall into a hole where there’s no sun and stars.”

But while Flex is on the subject of calling folks out. What rappers would you say are bringing bars back? Which rappers are the trashy clowns? Whose 15 minutes is almost up? Name ’em!

We can’t even lie; there are so many rappers today that are straight trash, but y’all support them. Carry on.

Cam’ron Still Isn’t Here For Jay Z!

(AllHipHop Rumors) And they said time heals all wounds! Ha! Not in Hip Hop!

Cam’ron has proven himself to certainly be one of the Princes of Petty. The rapper recently revealed that he’s not completely over his beef with Jay Z that by now is decades old.

Cam sat down with Sole Colector, the world’s leading sneaker magazine to give his take on “legendary” sneakers from various rappers. Cam was also asked to state if he would wear the sneakers as well.

The interviewer showed Cam a photo of Pharrell’s Ice Cream shoes, Kanye West’s Yeezys, and finally Jay Z’s S. Dot Carter sneaks.

When the interviewer got to Hov’s sneakers, the Harlem rapper smacked the photo out of the interviewer’s hands saying,

“Get the f-ck outta here man.”

HILARIOUS! You have to LOVE Cam’s sense of humor. Did you have a pair of the S. Dots?

Kanye West and Donda West

Kanye West has been released from the hospital, but fans of the rapper should not expect to see him on the stage anytime soon. Kanye was released from the UCLA Medical Center yesterday (November 30), after being hospitalized since his meltdowns earlier this month during two separate stops in California for his “Saint Pablo Tour.” Live Nation subsequently canceled all dates while ‘Ye recuperates. Now recent reports suggest that despite his release from the hospital, Kanye is far from well and will not be returning to the stage anytime soon.

Rihanna/WENN
Rihanna gave Prince Harry a pop star welcome to her native Barbados on Wednesday (November 30) as part of the British Royal’s Caribbean tour. The “Umbrella” hitmaker returned to the island nation to represent her country as she greeted Harry at the Toast to the Nation event, held to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Barbados’ independence from the British Empire. Rihanna, who wore a light blue, knee-length dress for the occasion, was photographed smiling as she and the Prince shook hands.

T.I. Is Not Giving Up On His Family!

(AllHipHop Rumors) Although many have wondered over the past couple of days will this finally be the last straw in T.I. and Tiny’s relationship, it seems that Tip is not giving up on his family.

Now we all love the way T.I. talks and writes with his true southern ATL accent, big vocabulary, and occasionally misplaced SAT words. We were kind of hoping for this kind of response from Tip following the leak of footage of Tiny and Floyd Mayweather dancing.

T.I. kept it simple this time as he posted a post on Instagram quoting New Edition.

“Storms will come….. but tell me baby can you stand the rain- New Edition voice. #ItsALifestyle #MysaucerunnithOver #FuckNi66aFreeChallenge still in full effect.”

Now listen, Tip has been rumored for years to have his cake and eat it too with so many rumors about alleged flings and relationships he’s allegedly had with women outside of their marriage.

Tiny even commented once on social media that Tip had in fact been rumored to cheat with a known prostitute, and that he’d have to take that up with God.

Sometimes it takes a woman to have to do the same thing men do for men to wake up. Maybe T.I. is ready to make everything right with his family…..We have heard that their threesomes are lit though. LOL.

They love each other and have a very big family as well as blended family now. They probably aren’t going anywhere. Carry on.

Kanye Fights Back In “New Slaves” Lawsuit

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Kanye West is fighting back against copyright infringement allegations regarding his song “New Slaves” amid his medical emergency.

Hungarian rocker Gabor Presser filed suit against the “All of the Lights” hitmaker in a New York court in May, claiming the hip-hop star sampled his track “Gyonhyhaju Lany” at the end of “New Slaves” without his formal approval.

According to his legal action, Kanye reached out to Presser to seek his permission before the tune was released on his 2013 album Yeezus. Presser agreed, but under the assumption that a formal deal would be negotiated.

Kanye sent the composer a $10,000 advance to push the deal through quickly, but Presser insisted he never cashed the check, and subsequently demanded $2.5 million in compensation.

The rapper has since responded to the lawsuit, insisting Presser gave him the green light to proceed with sampling “Gyonhyhaju Lany.”

In court papers obtained by DailyMail.com, Kanye also petitions the judge to allow the case to be moved from New York to Los Angeles, where he lives.

He also notes his fellow defendants at record label Sony Music and Gimme My Publishing Inc. are also located in California, making the change of venue a more convenient forum for litigation.

The request has been met with opposition from Presser, who argues Kanye regularly does business in the Big Apple, where he also owns a pad.

The plaintiff also insists he would not be able to continue with the suit if he has to travel from eastern Europe to Los Angeles to fight for his compensation, as it would be an unnecessary burden.

Kanye’s lawsuit response was filed on November 11, days before he was admitted to the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center (UCLA) for a mental evaluation on November 21 after erratic behavior and onstage rants led to fears for his health.
He has since been released and is receiving treatment for exhaustion and sleep deprivation.

Was Kanye West Trying To Record New Music From The Hospital?

(AllHipHop Rumors) It looks like Kanye West forgot that he was supposed to be taking a much needed break to get his health together.

Despite the fact that Ye was checked into the hospital for depression, paranoia, dehydration, and exhaustion, Yeezy Yeezy was still trying to get that work done.

Ye said you gotta keep the lights on and food on the table. Perhaps this speaks to the workaholic in a lot of us.

According to USMagazine, Kanye West was trying his hardest to record new music, and look over new sketches for his fashion lines while hospitalized.

“Kanye keeps wanting to work. At the hospital, he requested that recording equipment be brought to the hospital so he can record in his bed. And he has kept asking to see sketches of his fashion lines, said an inside source.”

The source says that Kim Kardashian has been trying to get Kanye to rest and not focus on his work. Hopefully Yeezy will decided to rest at home now that he’s been released from the hospital.
