Ice-T Gets His Acting On With New Roles, Including A New Horror Movie

(AllHipHop News) Ice-T is to take a lead role in independent horror film “Clinton Road.”

The hip-hop star, real name Tracy Marrow, may have risen to fame as an underground rapper in the 1980s, but since 2000 he has made his name as a TV actor, appearing as NYPD sergeant Odafin Tutuola on NBC’s “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.”

But for his next role, Ice-T will take a key part in director Steve Stanulis’ upcoming project, according to Variety.

“Clinton Road” is set to be focused on the real-life destination in Passaic County, New Jersey.

The road and surrounding land have been the subject of much notoriety due to urban legends of paranormal occurrences such as sightings of ghosts, strange creatures, and gatherings of witches, Satanists and the extremist organization, the Ku Klux Klan.

It has also been rumored that professional killers have disposed of bodies in the Clinton Road woods, with one recorded case reported in 1983.

However, the movie will tell of a group of bold teenagers who find themselves stranded on the roadside and end up facing up against a sadistic cult. It is understood that Ice-T will play a club owner who tries to dissuade the teenagers from venturing into the eerie place.

In addition to Ice-T, “Clinton Road” will also star “The Sopranos” actor Vincent Pastore. The film has a script from Derek Ross Mackay, with filming slated to kick off in August.

As well as his Law & Order commitments, Ice-T has a varied assortment of upcoming roles, including in Curtis Nichouls’ film “King Dog,” in which he is rumored to be playing Terrell Johnson. He is also attached to crime movie “Equal Standard.”

R. Kelly Struggling To Sell Tickets On His After Party Tour

(AllHipHop News) R. Kelly is reportedly struggling to sell out dates on his After Party Tour after recent allegations of a reported sex cult have emerged.

According to editors at TMZ, the “I Believe I Can Fly” singer played to a half-empty venue on the opening night of his tour in Virginia on Friday night.

The 20,000 capacity venue reportedly looked empty, with many seats left unoccupied after only a fraction of music fans turned out for the concert.

A Ticketmaster seat map obtained by TMZ of sales for the singer’s forthcoming concert at Pier Six Pavilion in Baltimore highlighted the fact there were plenty of empty seats still up for grabs for the show on Saturday.

The smaller sized venue can seat 4,400 music fans, with others being able to enjoy the show on the lawn section.

It’s unclear whether the poor ticket sales are due to the recent allegations or whether music fans are simply just not interested in buying tickets.

Earlier this month, editors at BuzzFeed News published a report which stated that two sets of parents and three former members of his inner circle had accused Kelly, 50, of manipulating six women living in properties he rented in Atlanta, Georgia and Chicago, Illinois, and he had forced them into an alleged sex “cult.”

Kelly denied the claims and posted a video, in which he addressed the drama ahead of the show on Friday night. “I just want to let all of my fans out there know that despite all of the crap y’all hearing, I will be coming to the East Coast to do my show. And believe me, y’all, it’s a bunch of crap,” the singer said.

According to BuzzFeed editors police officers in Atlanta and Chicago have performed welfare checks on Kelly’s rented properties, and found nothing to warrant further investigation.

Beyonce and Jay-Z Workout Together At Trendy Studio SoulCycle

(AllHipHop News) Beyonce and Jay-Z have been spotted enjoying couple workouts at trendy spinning studio SoulCycle.

The “Formation” singer, who gave birth to twins Rumi and Sir in June, has been photographed leaving the cycling fitness based studio with her 47-year-old husband.

According to editors at E! News it appears that it’s not just the new mum that wants to get back into shape.

The power couple have both been spotted working up a sweat at the Santa Monica studio, attending several classes taught by in-house instructor Angela.

A class attendee told E! News that Beyonce, 35, looked like she was really enjoying herself whilst on the bike.

“She was totally into the music and bopping her head and grooving along,” the fitness fan said. “She was able to last through the class and (use) the weights without a problem.”

Another SoulCycle fan commented that Beyonce looked “great”

“She’s definitely inspired and motivated and Jay-Z seems very supportive.”

It appeared that the pair are trying to keep their exercise regime under the radar and avoid any attention by being the last to enter the classes when the lights have been turned down and making sure they are the first to leave, by sneaking out just before they have ended.

The “Crazy in Love” star announced she was pregnant for the second time in February by posting a shot of her baby bump on social media. The couple already have a daughter, five-year-old Blue Ivy.

Beyonce and the “Empire State of Mind” rapper tied the knot in 2008 and recently celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary.

Fugees’ Pras Reveals Why Lauryn Hill Stopped Making Albums!

(AllHipHop Rumors) Fugees member Pras recently sat down with DJ Vlad and revealed what caused the legendary Lauryn Hill to stop making albums. We’ve all been wishing for new Lauryn projects post her Diamond-selling album, ‘The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill’.

“She just felt uninspired. I’m going to say this to you. Some people money is a driving force for them. For her, money isn’t a driving force for her. If she had a billion dollars, if she had one dollar she would’ve done it the exact same way….When she says she wasn’t…she’s been uninspired she means that. This is a woman who she has to feel inspired to create, and if she doesn’t feel inspired she’s not going to create. Because that’s what she gets her source of energy from. When we did ‘The Score’ we were inspired from what was happening. You talking Snoop, Pac, Jay, Biggie, Total; you had so much great sh-t happening that we were like we want to get in that game. Let’s bring something to the game. Let’s bring The refugee Fugees style to the table,” said Pras.

Over the years it also seems like Lauryn doesn’t like all the craziness that’s been happening in the world. She’s definitely pro-black, and sometimes when you look at what’s happening int the world, Pras explained that it can make people like her become depressed.

He also credited Lauryn for being an epitome of an artist. Apparently “Nothing Even Matters” to Lauryn but the art, so she really has to be in that creative and inspired space to create.

If Lauryn doesn’t believe that she’s going to create something better than her previous work, then she won’t touch it. That’s a pretty high bar to set too, so it makes me wonder did Lauryn think she couldn’t top her previous success, and this haunted her.

I truly understand how someone can be uninspired for years though. Sometimes it’s years before someone feels inspired and reconnected again. With the amount of time that’s passed now, you would think that Lauryn would have a vault of new material.

LOL! Ludacris, 50 Cent, Boosie BadAzz & More Are In Support Of “Child Support Cards”

(AllHipHop Rumors) In hilarious news, it seems like the average rapper hates at least one of their baby mamas!

In Ludacris’ “Now That’s Ludicrous” social media series, he posted a screen shot of what appeared to be an article about some state making “child support cards” that would limit what mothers would be able to buy with the money that they receive for child support.

Men have been complaining about the fact that their baby mamas spend their child support on everything but the children for years. Although the screen shot of the article appears to be of a fake and faulty article, a few rappers showed up in Ludacris’ comments in support of the card.

I know Ludacris’ would be down with this the way he allegedly hates his “break” baby mama, but fortunately for him, he doesn’t have to worry about it since he has full custody of the “break” baby.

50 Cent and Boosie BadAzz want to be signed up immediately.

50 Cent said,

“I’m signing up for one of them. LOL.”

and Boosie said,

“I’m go be the fist one n the line Please DM me dates n times.”

See this is why you have to strap it up and be careful who you have kids with. LOL. Carry on!
