Family Members Claim R. Kelly Recruited Women Into “Slavery” At The Age Of 17

(AllHipHop News) For a moment, it appeared O.J. Simpson’s parole would knock the stories of R. Kelly supposedly running a sex “cult” from the forefront of pop culture news.

However, Timothy Savage once again shined a spotlight on the drama by speaking to TMZ about his daughter Joycelyn Savage’s relationship with the R&B singer.

Joycelyn accused her father of orchestrating the situation that led her to eventually live with Kelly.

“That never happened. I don’t know if she got that from R. Kelly. It never happened,” said Timothy.

He also alleged that Kelly connected with some of the women in his house when they were under the age of eighteen.

“It’s not about being a consenting adult. Some of these girls – he met when they were seventeen. It’s a known fact,” Timothy claimed. “And some of these things we’re talking about, it’s not about [being] sexual.”

He continued, “You can have relationships with anybody when you get of age, but it’s abuse we’re talking about. It’s almost like slavery.”

On July 17, the Savage family gave a press conference about the allegations that Joycelyn is being manipulated and possibly abused by R. Kelly.

The singer’s lawyer, Linda Mensch, addressed the reports he is leading a cult in a statement to Rolling Stone.

“Mr. Kelly unequivocally denies such accusations and will work diligently and forcibly to pursue his accusers and clear his name,” stated Mensch.

Meek Mill Talks Feuding With Drake, Personal Growth & A Lot More (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Yesterday, Meek Mill gave his most in-depth interview in years.

The Wins & Losses album creator sat down with Hot 97 to discuss a wide range of topics.

Of course, Meek’s highly publicized feud with Drake was brought up.

“I was out of control at that point, the way I was coming at everybody,” said the Philadelphia native. “I offended a lot of people at that point.

He added, “I think I could have approached things better, but it is what it is.”

Meek admitted it’s possible he and Drake could one day meet and officially settle their issues.

In addition, Hot 97 interview covered the 30-year-old entertainer expressing he had undergone significant personal growth over the last few years.

“I be trying to be on some positive, grown-man, get-to-the-money type vibe. What can you do? You gonna be Instagramming, tweeting, throwing shots, and popping sh-t forever?” Meek asked. “We gotta live real life, too. It’s two sides to that. I think people get caught up in the ‘Twilight Zone’  so much so times they forget that it’s okay to put your phone down.”

The conversation also included the “Young Black America” rhymer discussing Nicki Minaj, Safaree, Remy Ma, Jay-Z, drug use, catching hate on social media, business endeavors, and being a voice for the hood.

Blac Chyna Says She Will Never Go Back To Rob Kardashian

(AllHipHop News) Blac Chyna has insisted there’s “no turning back” when it comes to her romance with Rob Kardashian.

The former couple caused controversy when they started dating, given Chyna’s relationship with ex Tyga, who was at the time dating Rob’s half-sister Kylie Jenner.

And after more than a year of on-off dating, the pair finally called time on their romance last November, but hit headlines once again earlier this month, when Rob shared explicit pictures of Chyna online in a bid to seek revenge after she sent him a video of herself in bed with another man.

Chyna is currently exploring her legal options with regards to Rob’s revenge p### attack, after being granted a restraining order against her ex, and while Rob and Chyna have worked through their issues in the past, particularly for the sake of their baby girl, the model insists this time their split is for good.

“(There’s) no turning back,” she insisted to People magazine of her relationship with Rob. “I’m glad I’m relieved of (Rob), but damn, why did I have to get relief in this way?”

However, Chyna is doing her best to stay positive in the wake of the scandal.

And she feels she has grown as a person through her dealings with Rob.

“I feel like God does certain things – not to hurt you, but to show you your true strength,” she mused. “I feel like, if I can come out of this, I can come out of anything.”

She is now hoping her story will help inspire others, and is focusing on making herself and her children, including four-year-old son King Cairo, happy.

“I’m not going to take something that happened to me in the past into my future,” the 29-year-old vowed. “First and foremost, I’m going to make myself happy because once I’m happy, then Dream can be happy and then King can be happy and then everybody else around me can be happy.”

“Don’t get no VIP motherf##king show texting on your phone like this s##t wack or something. Get your motherf##king a## out of here (sic).”

Jada Pinkett Smith Used To Sell Drugs Before She Was Famous

(AllHipHop News) Actress Jada Pinkett Smith was a drug dealer when she first met late rapper Tupac Shakur.

The “Matrix Reloaded” star has always maintained she befriended the “Changes” hitmaker when they attended Baltimore’s School of Arts in Maryland together, but now she has opened up about the real story behind their relationship.

Will Smith’s wife came clean about her early hustle during a U.S. radio interview with DJ Sway Calloway, revealing she is planning to tell all in a future memoir.

Asked about how she and Shakur first became acquainted, Jada said, “It’s kinda hard because I haven’t really told the whole story. One of things that’s very interesting, that I’ve never really said before, is that when I first met ‘Pac, I was a drug dealer…”

The mother-of-two declined to share specifics about her first gig, but teased a big turn of events which shocked her into living on the right side of the law.

“I won’t get into the details of it, because I’mma (sic) write a book about it,” she explained. “Just to give you like, (an idea), that’s how we started, then something really bad happened to me (and) as I was coming out of the life (of a drug dealer), he was going more into the life.”

Jada’s confession emerges a month after she took aim at filmmakers behind the recent Tupac biopic “All Eyez on Me,” insisting the way they depicted her close friendship with the late hip-hop star was full of inaccuracies.

In a series of Twitter posts sent on the day of the movie’s release on June 16 – what would have been the rapper’s 46th birthday – she wrote: “Forgive me… my relationship to Pac is too precious to me for the scenes in All Eyez On Me to stand as truth.”

She claims suggestions, in the film, she attended Pac’s shows by his request and once had an argument with him backstage are not true.

She wrapped up her rant by admitting the “reimagining of my relationship to Pac” has been “deeply hurtful.”

Activists Launch Petition To Get R. Kelly Dropped From Sony

(AllHipHop News) A new online petition has been set up by activists hoping to persuade Sony Music bosses to drop R. Kelly following allegations suggesting the singer is running a sex cult.

Reports, triggered by a parent’s concerns about his estranged daughter, suggest the “I Believe I Can Fly” star is holding women between the ages of 18 and 26 captive in two of his properties in Chicago, Illinois and Atlanta, Georgia.

Kelly’s legal team has slammed the allegations, insisting the soul star “unequivocally denies” them, but his critics have called for Sony bosses to release him from his contract as yet another sex scandal looms.

“We must not let habitual abusers float above justice simply because they are rich and famous,” a message accompanying the Care2 petition reads. “Let’s work together to turn R. Kelly into a symbol for victim’s rights, reminding abusers everywhere that no one is untouchable.”

The singer was previously acquitted of 21 counts of child pornography in 2008, six years after video footage emerged appearing to show the singer urinating on an underaged girl.

He was also previously accused of illegally marrying tragic R&B beauty Aaliyah, when she was just 15.

After the latest allegations hit the headlines on Monday, Kelly’s lawyer, Linda Mensch, said, “Mr. Robert Kelly is both alarmed and disturbed by the recent revelations attributed to him… He will work diligently and forcibly to pursue his accusers and clear his name.”

Earlier this week, one of Kelly’s alleged captives insisted she was “in a happy place in my life, and I’m not being brainwashed or anything like that” during an interview with TMZ.

“I just want everybody to know, my parents and everybody in the world, that I am totally fine. I’m happy where I’m at, and everything is OK with me,” Jocelyn Savage, 21, added. Her father was the man who launched the sex cult allegations.

The latest sex scandal hasn’t had any impact on Kelly’s career – all 14 of his upcoming shows are still scheduled and there’s a huge demand for tickets.

Some venue bosses tell TMZ they have received angry calls from locals, but sales for tickets are brisk and there have been no cancellations.

At press time, the Care2 petition has reached almost 10,000 signatures.

The Game Sends More Shots At 40 Glocc Following Prostitution Sting Arrest

To no one’s surprise, Glocc’s enemy, The Game, wasted no time taking more shots at him.

“N-ggas selling they p-ssy now. I’m dead.”

Peep Which Famous “Becky With The Good Hair” Praises Jay-Z’s ‘4:44’ Album

(AllHipHop Rumors) You would like to think that Monica Lewinsky would be one to stay out of the spotlight, then again some folks just own up to their scandalous ways and move on.

Lewinsky is certainly one of the most famous homewreckers to date, and the presidential “Becky with the good hair” has recently wrote an essay for Vanity Fair praising Jay-Z’s ‘4:44’ album

The essay entitled, ‘Jay-Z, Prince Harry, Brad Pitt, and the New Frontiers of Male Vulnerability’, explores various masculine stereotypes that the men are battling.

“Jay-Z had a choice. Having been called out publicly by his wife in her fierce 2016 album and video, Lemonade, Jay-Z knew that his fans wouldn’t have blinked if his next album skimmed past the allegations. That’s not uncommon for men to do. And it’s not as if we hadn’t seen Beyoncé and Jay-Z out in the world together since then—not to mention, welcoming their twins to planet Earth. Jay-Z could have ignored it all. But, instead, he chose a path of candor that will—like Brad’s and Prince Harry’s—move the conversation forward and help others,” said Lewinsky

She went on to say,

“It is a refreshing and bracing antidote to see male icons convey vulnerability in an age when Washington’s new power elite and our coarsening culture are busy projecting an outmoded caricature of manhood, 24/7. It’s heartening to see a crack in the implicit contract among men, their emotions, and society at large.”

All-in-all, Lewinsky praises various men in the limelight for being so open and expressive while simultaneously encouraging others to do so. What are your thoughts?
