Cam’ron Blasts Karen Civil Amid Clinton Loss

Cam’ron STILL isn’t here for Karen Civil!

He once again took shots at the brand strategist, blogger, and music insider on social media.

Back in February Cam called out Karen Civil for what he felt was a misleading story from her on Dipset’s departure from both Def Jam and Jay Z. He also claimed that she stole $60K from his cousin Duke, and went as far as calling her a liar!

Cam’ron had a little time on his hands to go at Karen again the day after the election. He took to his Instagram to say that Karen Civil probably stole money from Hillary Clinton’s campaign when she worked for her.

“Somebody shoulda told Hilary… #Wonderhowmuchshetook #ShestoleTheElectoralVoteMoney #WolfInSheepClothing,” said Cam’ron

Cam’ron is definitely sticking by his accusations that she took his cousin’s money.

Donald Trump Won. This Is What We Will Do. (Hint: Its The Same If Hillary Won)

Where do we begin?

Image result for chuck creekmurI believe, as I always have, that change is firmly rooted in the people. In this case, those people are the supporters of Donald Trump who rallied fervently and came out in record numbers to claim to a victory for the 45th presidency of the United States. Yes, even that @POTUS Twitter handle will go to Trump in the ultimate expression of modern day change of power. That power has never really trickled down from the top and I don’t expect it to start now.

Under President Obama – one of America’s best – African Americans found all their financial gains wiped out. Translation: that was the first time Black people stopped fiscally moving upward since being brought on these shores in 1619. Obviously, this devolution was set up during the previous administration, but so was the housing crisis. Yet, the big banks were bailed out and America was salvaged. We were not. Had Hillary gotten elected we would not have been saved either.

If Hillary Clinton been elected – or selected, depended on your mind state-  Black people would have had a false sense of accomplishment, I believe. Remember when  Americans declared we are “post-racial” after President Obama took office? Stated that we are all “Americans” and “patriots” as described  in his post-election speech? Not exactly. It is evident with this presidential election that there is still a groundswell that supports sexism, racism, xenophobia, hate towards LGBT and more.

Racism and more, has never truly been checked by the powers that be. The sickness of sexism continues to ravage women and girls as the so-called glass ceiling was being shattered. Including by our very own president elect who is under investigation for several acts of assault (including rape) as a means to disrespect every group except White men. Bill Cosby has to feel a way about this. But I digress.

The point is, if you know history, you understand that this is not the end. Why? Anytime progressives made bold moves – including electing the first African-American president – there has ALWAYS been tremendous backlash. (Van Jones called it “White Lash,” which is far too slavery-sounding for me). The current political and racial climate reminds me of my favorite sci-fi flick “Star Wars.” However, unlike the Rebel Forces, what we don’t understand is this is war. Sounds horrific, right?

So, Empire will strike back. So this is may be the beginning, but only if you choose it to be.

This is not the end.

“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.” ― Maya Angelou

I love and strive to live by this quote by Dr. Maya Angelou and I believe collectively, these words should become mantra. People are far too accustomed to getting by…just existing. This mental enslavement has to end. We deserve more and our future generations deserve more.

Get your power up and stop submitting to being a victim. We have been tossed, turned, brutalized, marginalized, used and abused. I know this. We know this. They know this. I despise how 400-plus years of genocide and free labor jump started this great nation, but knowing alone won’t change anything. Marching in protest – while an often grand gesture – will not make power concede to you. The transfer of power is real. Transfer. Past you. To another one of them. Think about that. Most racists wouldn’t even show their face until Trump emboldened them. The epitome of cowardice. One trembling Black man with no mustache even said, “I can finally wear this hat,” donning a red “Make America Great Again” cap. Confused.

We no longer need feel-good “progress.” I want real good progress. This starts at home and in your tiny little village. Teach your children that which yield inter-generational dividends. Replicate. Jordans cost $200? Buy stock in one of these marijuana companies that are booming with that $200. Invest. Learn the history of powerful leaders, warriors, freedom fighters, business people – Black, White, Native and others as well. Teach them power. Study war strategies and social justice movements, the ones not taught in history books. Study books like They Came Before Columbus and our history as it existed before 1619 so our beginnings are not associated with enslavement. Turn off the TV/tablet/smart phone. Become a leader, train a leader and/or support a leader. Join an organization dedicated to changing conditions in your community. Play the insider/outsider game. Join the companies, state sponsored groups, media companies, political organizations and others. Start a business and hire within the community. Challenge each other to do better. These and other acts are all revolutionary maneuvers of progress, however small or large.

I love Kendrick Lamar, but I am wholly weary of the “We Gon’ Be Alright” mentality. We need a new anthem. Not “Fight The Power.” How about affirmations like “Be The Power” or “You Are The Power”? It is far past time for us to take on the incessant chase to freedom, equality and liberation. In this capitalist society, what does that mean? Money. Power. Respect. Knowledge. Get you some…cultivate…and sustain it for 7 generations. And then 7 more.

I know, I know.

Another “what we need to be doing is…” speech. It may be the last thing we need, right after this election. What I am happy to say is that there have been people working diligently in the community and inside the “system” to achieve desired results. Join. Support. This is not easy and the game is a long, brutal war of attrition. The other side knows this. They want their country “back.” From who? Obama said “We are all Americans.” #ThinkingFaceEmoji

He also said, “If we lose, we learn from our mistakes, we do some reflection, we lick our wounds, we brush ourselves off…we get back into the arena.” We must to get back into the arena. With relentless force. Making America “great” again is rooted in the concept of control, exclusion and the inherent superiority of specific segments of the population. Deadass, put your Tims on, and step all the way up and be the change you have to see – boot to neck style.

The Donald (Obama or Hillary) does not control what happens in our individual homes. We have a responsibility to educate and empower ourselves and our children and arm all with the skills, knowledge and resources necessary to be self sustained. We have to combat the ideas of superiority and separation so we are not bred and cultivated in fear.

There’s theory then there’s application. Its time to apply.

Be relentless.

Dare to be bold.

Accept being hated.

Be selfish with your f##.

Protect the women and children.

Promise to deliver a better world to future generations.

By all means.

‘All Eyez One Me’ Producer Claps Back At John Singlteon’s Diss

Uh oh! It looks like the executive producer of the ‘All Eyez On Me’ Tupac biopic, LT Hutton, is none too pleased with John Singleton’s negative comments on the film.

Remember Singleton hasn’t watched the movie or any of the trailers, but that didn’t stop him from saying he already knows Benny Boom, Sutton, and everyone else involved “f-cked it up.”

Benny Boom is also a great director, so maybe the hate coming from Singleton is personal.

Singleton recently expressed that despite the fact that he was once involved with the biopic, he originally didn’t want to be because he felt like he was too close to Tupac.

“I didn’t want to make it for many, many years. First of all, people wanted the story to be told, but I was so close to him. I was too close to tell the story of it. You have to remember, at first we had a working relationship and then a brotherhood.,” he said

All Singleton wanted to make sure of was that the film did the late and great Tupac and his legacy justice.

Although LT Hutton didn’t put any names on his recent social media rant, this was clearly made for none other than Singleton. Hutton said,

“LET ME JUST SAY THIS !! THERE IS WAY MORE TO PUTTING OUT A FILM THAN JUST SAYING WHAT’S THE RELEASE DATE WHERE IS THE TRAILER!! HOLLYWOOD WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO MESS THIS FILM UP! SO THAT MEANS AS LONG AS IT TAKES! THE NEGATIVE BULLSH-T PEOPLE CAN DO ALL THE LAME ASS INTERVIEWS THEY WANT AND CAN’T MESS THIS FILM UP !! THIS 10 YEARS OF BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS WAS THE HARDEST THING I HAVE DONE IN MY LIFE BUT I TOOK ON THE FIGHT AND GOT IT DONE !!!! FOR THE CULTURE!!!!! THE FILM WILL SAY IT ALL !!!! 2PAC WROTE HIS ON STORY AND I MADE THIS FILM IN HIS VOICE !!!! IT’S ABOUT 2PAC NOT ABOUT ME NOT A COMPANY NOT ABOUT A DIRECTOR !!!! TUPAC POINT BLANK !!! A LOT OF PEOPLE WORKED VERY HARD ON MAKING THIS HAPPENED AND STILL WORKING THIS HOLLYWOOD SH-T GONE SOMEBODY WHOLE MOUTHPIECE KNOCKED OFF !!!!!!! THIS IS REAL NOT A GAME!!! SUPPORT OR DON’T THE REAL WILL !”

Oop! Was that a threat?

‘Black In Blue’ Police Brutality Awareness #MannequinChallenge Goes Viral (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) The #MannequinChallenge has become one of the most popular internet activities over the last few weeks.

While most of the videos were humorous in nature, the creators of the upcoming film Black In Blue took a more serious approach to the challenge.

The Black In Blue Instagram page uploaded a Black Lives Matter inspired #MannequinChallenge clip that brings attention to police brutality.

Audio from well-known police killings was edited into the video.

“We will continue to stand for justice and create change through our art,” reads part of the vid’s caption.

As of press time, the IG video has collected over 22,000 views and re-posted by celebrities such as Tyrese, Cedric The Entertainer, and D. L. Hughley.

Black In Blue filmmakers Kevalena Everett, Todd Anthony, and Fred Thomas Jr. have launched an Indiegogo crowdsourcing campaign to help raise funds for the project.

The description of the movie reads as follows:

Psychological stress weighs heavy on a black cop when the rookie’s loyalty is challenged by the badge he represents in a predominantly white precinct within a racially charged Black neighborhood he protects. The death of a childhood friend at the hand of a white cop pins the young officer against his pregnant wife, a legal advocate for victims of injustice; senior officers who stand by the ways of the old guard; and a defiant teenager who he is trying to save form being a casualty of the streets or a cops gun. We believe that the gripping story lines, high stakes and dynamic characters in “Black In Blue” will appeal to a wide audience.

Houston Rapper Foreign Shows Why He’s “On Top”

Bred in Houston’s Studewood area but raised in the streets throughout H-Town’s various wards, Texas artist Foreign has been making great strides over the course of  a short rap career with just a few singles. Building on the success of his song “Get This Money” that garnered radio spins in Texas, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Shreveport, Biloxi, Jackson, Augusta and New Orleans, Foreign returns with a new song called, “On Top” and a video that continues on the theme of the first.

“On Top,” was produced by Deemax and Valentine and seems to mimic Foreign’s path to success and career.  In addition, the music video features guest appearances by Michael “5000” Watts and Brian Angel of Day 26 to add to this high quality production.

“When you’re looking and listening to my music, yea the audio goes hard, but the video takes you back to where I grew up. I took a half million dollars worth of cars back to the projects. Now that’s a hell of a visual itself just to see it through my own eyes,” Foreign explained.  “‘On Top’ is pretty much a sequel to ‘Get This Money,’ and when you see the video it’s important to know that because we brought back some familiar characters from the first video.”

Despite the fact that Foreign has worked with some of Houston’s top producers and artists, this street hustler turned rapper is currently focused on pleasing his fans with music that he really likes himself.

“In all actuality I want to represent Houston with the movement that I grew up following, I want to rep my city in a familiar way so that people in my generation have something to rock with. We don’t dance, we don’t do the skinny jeans and that’s cool for those people, but that’s not where my background comes from,” Foreign explained.

The plan seems to be working as Foreign recently got some pretty big local co-signs and has a few labels interested in his talents.  One of the cosigns was from “Michael “5000” Watts who said, “S/O to @ForeignMusik remaking history in these streets.”

“Michael “5000” Watts gave me the co-sign recently and I’m in talks with some people at Cash Money right now, but we will see how this all plays out, right now I’m just focused on making my fans happy” he added.

Lil Wayne Said Reality Set In After Kanye West and Diddy Visited Him While He Was In Prison

(AllHipHop News) Lil Wayne was hit by the reality that he was locked up in prison after he was visited by Kanye West and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

The 34-year-old rapper spent eight months in New York City’s Rikers Island jail in 2010 after being found guilty of attempted criminal possession of a weapon.

While incarcerated, Wayne had some of his famous pals pop by to visit him, and seeing them there served as a reminder of where he was.

“When I was there, actually talking to them during the visitation, they made it so real,” he told the Associated Press. “They threw all the ‘Who’s in this room’ out of there. That was thrown out the window.

“They were like, ‘How you feeling? What are you going through? Do you need anything, like do you really need anything? Do your parents need anything?’ And then, I said the moment it hit me was going back up to the cell.”

Wayne, real name Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., has turned his diaries from his time behind bars into a recently released book, entitled Gone ‘Til November.

And he says the prison staff and his fellow inmates have a lot to do with how he got through the difficult time.

“It was due to the people around (me),” he said. “When I say the people around me, I mean the prisoners, the guards. … They took all the cliche (out) of whatever I thought it was gonna be, they took that and threw it right out the window. They made me feel like, for lack of a better word, to say like I was at home. And it was everybody. … Nobody wants to be there, not even the guards. So when you come through there, for everybody to treat you the same. … Whatever it was, it worked.”

Since being released from prison, Wayne has focused on his music career, although he has been hitting headlines in recent months due to his controversial comments about the Black Lives Matter movement.

Getting back on the stage was something the musician will never forget, as not being able to perform was one of the hardest parts of being jailed.

Asked what it felt like to perform for the first time after his release, Wayne replied: “I’d say it was like, uh, being in an accident and losing … feeling in your legs and they’re telling you (that) you’ll never walk again. And coming back eight months and running up. … That’s how that felt.”

Hillary Was Crying Uncontrollably, Allegedly Blamed Obama & FBI Director For “L”

The plot thickens. There is a rumor that Hillary Clinton was crying so hard, as she found out she was not going to win, that she was unable to continue that night. Normally, folks concede that night to their followers. When she didn’t do that, I thought “Hillary is a fighter and is going to contest this thing.” But, nope. She went with the stream ultimately. The Steve Malzberg Show is a show hosted by a dude of the same name. Now, up front this Malzberg guy is a Conservative putz, but they have a strong rumor that suggests that Hillary may blame Obama and FBI Director James Comey for her loss. Check it out and comment your thoughts.

Hate? Hillary’s spirit can easily be raised by just lookng at this repeatedly.

Rick Ross Releases “Free Enterprise” Video Featuring Anti-Donald Trump Lyrics (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Donald Trump could have a long four years when it comes to his relationship with Hip Hop.

While President Barack Obama invited rappers to the White House, the Trump Administration could be the repeated target of diss lines from emcees.

Rick Ross is one of the rap stars that has called out the businessman set to be the next President of the United States.

The Maybach Music Group leader recently released a video for “Free Enterprise” featuring John Legend, a song off the 2015 Black Market album.

“Assassinate Trump like I’m Zimmerman,” raps Ross. “Now accept these words as they came from Eminem. Democratic Party sentenced to the pendulum. Killing them, I voted for André Benjamin.”

Was The Beef Between Jeezy & Pimp C Ever Real?

Jeezy has recently been celebrating the success of his seventh studio album, ‘Trap Or Die 3’, and the fact that it has topped the Billboard charts as the No.1 album in the country.

During his recent press runs, Jeezy stopped by the Raq Rants show to shoot down the rumors that he ever had beef with rapper Pimp C.

When Raquel asked him if the two rappers every got to put their differences aside, Jeezy replied saying,

“It wasn’t really beef. I never understood that. I don’t think Pimp was talking about me. I know Pimp well enough to know that he was probably talking you know, because he’s not going to bite his tongue. He’s that type of person. Right before he passed he had a conversation with one of my guys. I was actually sitting in the car we was talking to him on speakerphone. [Pimp C was] like I love Jeezy.”

Jeezy also stated that he has a lot of respect for Bun B and Pimp C because he grew up on them. He said he never understood that [fake beef] because they never had friction.

Jeezy said he was kind of actually hurt about it because it was like one of his idols.

According to the Snowman, they all shot a video for a song they were on, and after that it kind of got crazy. It became a fake beef that he never understood because Pimp was like an uncle to him.

Some say it was the lean that may have been messing with Pimp C. At least Jeezy got a chance to talk to him and make sure things were all good between them before Pimp C passed.

RIP to the late, great Pimp C!

T.I. Takes Part In Protests Against Donald Trump Winning The Presidential Election

(AllHipHop News) Donald Trump was elected President of the United States, but many Americans are not happy about that outcome.

Thousands of citizens took to the streets in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington, Oakland, and other cities across the country to protest against the Republican candidate winning the White House.

Much of the anger stemmed from the fact Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton won more votes than Trump but came out short in the Electoral College count.

Protestors also took issue with Trump’s rhetoric throughout the campaign that was viewed by many as racist, misogynistic, and Islamophobic.

Atlanta rapper T.I. joined one of the protests. He filmed the scene and posted videos on his Instagram page.

Protestors chanted “not my president,” “she got more votes,” and “the whole world hates you.”

#TrumpProtest has been trending on Twitter for hours. Yesterday also saw #NotMyPresident and #ImStillWithHer as top trends on the social media platform as well.

Sevyn Streeter Reflects On Being Blocked From Singing The National Anthem Over “We Matter” Jersey (VIDEO)

Sevyn Streeter is speaking out about the Philadelphia 76ers’ decision to not allow her to perform the national anthem .

The NBA organization blocked Streeter from singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” because she was wearing a jersey that had the words “We Matter” on the front.

“To not be able to do it simply because my jersey said ‘We Matter,’ it hit me in a completely different way,” Streeter told DJ Smallz. “It really did break my heart. I don’t really no much else to say about it other than it was a really unfortunate situation.”

The Sixers later apologized to the Florida-raised songstress.

Streeter expressed she was most disappointed that her fans in Philly missed an opportunity to spend time with the artist.

“There was a whole contest for fans to come and watch the game with me, so it wasn’t just about me,” Streeter explained. “I wasn’t the only one that they let down. Those are my fans they let down and affected.”
