TeeFlii Drops New Record “Real N*gga” and Prepares To Release His Upcoming Project “Annie R U O’Tay 5”

TeeFlii Real N####

L.A.’s own, TeeFlii, the Grammy-nominated artist responsible for the radio hits “24 Hours” and “This D,” is back on the scene with an official new banger titled “Real N#gga,” the first single from his highly anticipated project “Annie R U O’Tay 5” dropping soon.

The contemporary R&B singer, songwriter and producer, who’s worked with the likes of E-40, 2 Chainz, YG, DJ Mustard, Nipsey Hussle, Chris Brown, Skeme, Snoop Dogg, DJ Quik and Dom Kennedy, gives fans a new record to rock with ahead of his new mixtape release.

I’ve put a lot of hard work and dedication into this project. A lot of people weren’t around to help me on this project. No [DJ] Mustard, no YG…just ME,” notes the LA native. “It’s pretty much just me going ahead with what I believe. I want everyone to know how much this project means to me and how hard we worked. I mean, we started off creating this project in hotel rooms, ya feel me. It took a lot to get this project to where it is.

Fans can expect the fifth release in TeeFlii’s Annie R U O’Tay mixtape series to feature two sides: Side A is strictly all TeeFlii, and Side B will feature special surprise features including Dom Kennedy and fellow L.A. singer Tyesha.

I wanted to show the growth of TeeFlii on this new project and show that you don’t always have to have a feature to get your point across as an artist,” TeeFlii says. “My music is raunchy and straight to the point. I say things a lot of other singers think about singing, but they are too scared or shy to express. I give them hope to be able to say the things they actually want to say.

Grab “Real N*gga” on iTunes and stay tuned for a new visual for “Real N*igga” and much more new music from this L.A. favorite on “Annie R U O’Tay 5.”

Amber Rose Tapped As New Sex Show Host

(AllHipHop News) Model and TV personality Amber Rose is set to become an online sex expert.

The former wife of Wiz Khalifa and ex-girlfriend of Kanye West has signed on to host an hour-long podcast all about intimacy and love as part of America’s Loveline franchise.

The 32-year-old single mom will team up with Dr. Chris Donaghue, doctor of clinical sexology and human sexuality, for a weekly show, which will also feature therapists and special guests.

Amber and the good doctor will also chat to listeners who call in with sex-related questions and queries.

“This is just really up my alley, being a feminist and being very sex positive,” Rose told news show Entertainment Tonight. “I’m very open with my sexuality. I don’t hold anything back, I’m not judgemental, and there’s really nothing that anyone can call in and say that I probably haven’t heard already. So, you know, call my show and I’m there with open arms!”

The “Loveline With Amber Rose” show will be released weekly on LovelineWithAmberRose.com and iTunes, beginning on Thursday.

“Loveline” debuted in 1983 as a CBS Radio talk show. Past hosts have included Dr. Drew Pinsky and comedian Adam Carolla.

Meanwhile, busy Amber has also signed up to be a contestant on the new season of “Dancing With the Stars” and she also hosts VH1 late night program “The Amber Rose Show.”

She also recently chatted about becoming a mom again, and having a second child with her now-ex Wiz.

Rose told “The Amber Rose Show” viewers she and the rapper had hooked up for sex following one of his recent concerts in North Carolina.

“Now, you know that we have (son) Sebastian together, and I really, really want another baby,” she said, “so I asked him for his sperm, like I always do every time I’m around him.”

New Notorious B.I.G. & Tupac Based Thriller “Labyrinth” To Star Johnny Depp

(AllHipHop News) Long time actor Johnny Depp is slated to play the lead role in the upcoming film “Labyrinth,” which is based on the true story of Los Angeles Detective Russell Poole and his role in investigating the deaths of Hip-Hop legends Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G.

The Hollywood Reporter indicates that Depp will play the role of Poole with the film to be directed by Brad Furman of Good Films, the company behind Bryan Cranston’s crime drama “The Infiltrator.”

Also, Christian Contreras wrote the screenplay for the film which is adapted from the Randall Sullivan penned book, Labyrinth: A Detective Investigates the Murders of Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G., the Implication of Death Row Records’ Suge Knight, and the Origins of the Los Angeles Police Scandal.

In addition, UTA and WME Global will be co-repping U.S. rights while Good Universe is set to handle international sales.

Detective Poole spent months investigating the murders of the Hip-Hop stars before he discovered that “gangsta cops in his own force were not only involved but were also tied to Death Row Records and the Bloods street gang.”

This eventually led to Poole entering into retirement early in protest.

Ironically, Russell Poole died of a heart attack in August of 2015 during a meeting about the murders at the L.A. County Sheriff’s Office.

The shooting for the new thriller “Labyrinth” will begin later this year.

Lira Galore Finally Covers Her Rick Ross Tattoo

It looks like Rick Ross’ ex-fiance, Lira Galore, is finally moving on to life after the biggest bawse!

Photos surfaced online of Lira covering up her “Rozay” tattoo.

The former couple went from make up to breakup a few times before finally deciding to go their separate ways.

Lira explained that she was only 22, and it was her first time being in love. Word on the street was Ross couldn’t deal with the perception of her being a h*e or the fact that she previously was shooting her shot at other members of his MMG family.

Remember, Galore will also appear on the upcoming season of Iyanla Vanzant’s ‘Fix My Life.’ This tells us that that Ross breakup is probably still affecting her among other things.

Jerry Heller Laid To Rest, But Feud With N.W.A. Lives On

(AllHipHop News) Veteran West coast music executive Jerry Heller was laid to rest today (September 7), which ironically is Eazy-E’s birthday.

Heller was laid to rest in a service in San Fernando, where family friends and others paid their finalist respects.

No members of N.W.A. attended the services, which was held on what would have been Eazy’s 52nd birthday.

Read Jerry Heller’s obituary below:

Jerry Heller, the music executive famous for managing the legendary rap group NWA, passed away on September 2, 2016.

He was 75 years old.

Together, with the late rapper Eric “Eazy-E” Wright, the two formed Ruthless Records.

With Heller and Wright as equal partners, Ruthless became the first entirely black-owned record company to release gold, platinum and multi-platinum rap albums.

Eazy-E was the founding member of the group NWA, which rose to fame with members Dr. Dre (Andre Young), DJ Ren (Lorenzo Patterson), DJ Yella (Antoine Carraby), and Ice Cube (O’Shea Jackson).

NWA became famous after the release of their highly publicized 1988 album, Straight Outta Compton. It was followed by the release of Wright’s debut solo album, Eazy-Duz-It.

Compton was now an international household name.

In addition to NWA and Eazy-E, among the labels’ many other artists, were HWA and the Grammy-winning Bone Thugs-N- Harmony.

Ruthless also signed will.i.am. The group he formed was called the Atban Klann. Their completed album was never released by Ruthless, because of Wright’s death.

Three years later, will.i.am achieved fame, with his reformed group, the Black Eyed Peas, released by Interscope Records.

The success of Ruthless Records inspired fans around the world, spawning the careers of future artists.

Heller often referred to NWA’s Straight Outta Compton, as “the most important albums of the twentieth century.”

Music industry executive Irving Azoff, who represents major artists including the Eagles, knew Heller for decades.

Despite his many accomplishments, Azoff is most known for managing the Eagles, for more than 40 years.

For the last three years, Azoff has also served as CEO of Azoff MSG Entertainment, a business enterprise with Madison Square Garden.

Azoff previously served as the CEO and Chairman of Ticketmaster Entertainment, and was executive chairman of Live Nation Entertainment.

With one of the most enviable resumes in the music business, his credentials seem endless.

In a statement for this story, Azoff stated of Heller’s death, “Jerry was an incredible talent. And it was unfortunately often unappreciated talent.”

Added Azoff, “Jerry reinvented himself, over and over, and he was always on the cutting edge.”

Azoff reflected, “Jerry, more than anyone, taught me to care about my artists.”

As far as Heller’s detractors, Azoff stated, “As can be expected in Hollywood, and especially, in the rap business, there is a lot of acting going on.

“I knew Jerry, as well as anyone. Many unfairly maligned him. I know the Hollywood version was not true. The negative depiction of him was entirely fictional. However, those that really knew him, know otherwise.”

Because of his fame, Heller was a public figure. Therefore, he had little, if any control of the many fictitious claims made about him.

At the time of his death, Heller was involved in a lawsuit that he filed last October, in response to the fictionalized characterization of him, which was played by Paul Giamatti, in the 2015 theatrical release, “Straight Outta Compton.”

Despite the fictional biopic’s depictions, Heller had never been fired by Wright.

In real life, there were never any financial indiscretions on Hellers’ part. Nor was Heller ever sued by any artist during his long career. No financial indiscretions were ever found, or proven to exist when it came to Ruthless Records or Jerry Heller.

There were always rumors swirling about Wright and Heller. In an interview just before his death, in an interview, Wright commented on what he said was the most common misperception about Ruthless Records.

Clarifying that he, himself, owned the label, and that he had a fifty-fifty partnership with Heller, Wright stated, “I don’t work for Jerry, Jerry works for me.”

Although every major label had turned down signing NWA, and the group had sold only a few copies, Heller was so committed to Wright, and so solidified in his own faith when it came to the group’s talents, that he even took on the risk of taking a mortgage out on his home, in order to finance NWA’s first tour.

Drama soon followed, which included a letter from the FBI, criticizing NWA’s lyrics, which strongly addressed inappropriate treatment of young black males by police officers.

In 1989, NWA publicist Phyllis Pollack and longtime music critic Dave Marsh penned a highly publicized cover story in the Village Voice, which attacked the FBI’s letter that threatened the constitutionally protected lyrics of the group.

The resulting publicity drew even more attention to NWA.

Oprah Winfrey even dedicated an entire episode of the Oprah Winfrey show to the discuss the article.

Heller brought in attorneys to defend the First Amendment rights of his artists.

Clearly to all who knew Jerry Heller, Eazy-E was like a son to him. Heller, himself, often used that terminology.

After the demise of NWA, Dr. Dre produced a stable of successful artists, including Snoop Dogg and Eminem.

With his branding of the Beats Pill by Dr. Dre, he became hip-hop’s first billionaire.

Cube focused on predominately Hollywood comedy-based films.

Prior to working with NWA, Heller worked as a booking agent, and he managed artists.

It was Heller that first brought the multi-Grammy-winning artist Elton John to the United States, when he booked the British singer to perform his legendary American debut gig at the Troubadour in Los Angeles, in 1970.

Working as a booking agent and manager, Heller represented a roster of artists that also included Pink Floyd, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Who, The Grass Roots, Journey, the late artists Marvin Gaye and Otis Redding, among many others.

Born in Shaker Heights, Ohio, after graduating high school, Heller moved to Los Angeles, and worked his way up in the music business.

Heller’s autobiography, Ruthless: A Memoir, was published in 2006, by Simon & Schuster-Simon Spotlight Entertainment.

Heller suffered a fatal heart attack, while drive. He was taken to Los Robles Hospital in Thousand Oaks, where he soon died.

Survivors include his cousin Gary Ballen, Kenneth Heller, Jerry’s younger brother and father of Jerry’s nephew, Terry Heller, who is a restaurateur and real estate investor.

Terry Heller said of his famous uncle, “To the world, they lost a legend. I lost a best friend.”

Heller was surrounded by family as he passed away.

Heller spent his final moments in the hospital, doing what he loved most, listening to Eazy’s-E’s music.

Terry Heller brought a CD player with Wright’s tracks, playing “Eazy-Duz- It,” “We Want Eazy,” “Still Talkin,” and “Boyz-N-the Hood,” as a final goodbye to a man that was loved by so many fans, and so many people in the music business.

Donations in memory of Heller may be sent to the Grammy Foundation’s MusiCares.

Snoop Dogg Believes ‘Power’ Is A Much Better Show Than ‘Empire’

It looks like Snoop Dogg is still trying to get 50 Cent to give him a guest or permanent role on the hit show ‘Power’!

Snoop Dogg not only thinks ‘Power’ is better than ‘Empire’, he also believes ‘Power’ is the best show on television in the last 5 years.

‘Power’s’ own Rotimi was certainly entertained by Uncle Snoop’s comments.

Snoop jokingly told 50 about a month ago that if he didn’t get a role in season 4, there would be some problems. Snoop wants 50 to cut him in so he can get one of those ‘Power’ checks.

What are your thoughts? Do you think ‘Power’ is the best show out right now?

Donald Glover’s ‘Atlanta’ Earns Critical Acclaim; Social Media Praises Premiere

(AllHipHop News) Donald “Childish Gambino” Glover may have a TV hit on his hands. The actor/rapper’s Atlanta dramedy is already a critical darling.

The show about the Atlanta rap scene premiered last night (September 6) on FX. Prior to the initial broadcast, the series had already earned a 100% rating from Rotten Tomatoes.

The review aggregator website critic consensus reads, “Ambitious and refreshing, Atlanta offers a unique vehicle for star and series creator Donald Glover’s eccentric brand of humor — as well as a number of timely, trenchant observations.”

In addition, the review site Metacritic also gives Glover’s show high marks. Atlanta collected a score of 91 which indicates “universal acclaim.”

While the professional critics are fond of Atlanta, the court of public opinion often has a greater impact on the success of a television program.

According to the collective Twitterverse, Glover’s take on Southern culture connected with a lot of viewers. #AtlantaFX was the #1 trending topic on the social media platform as the show was airing.

Atlanta stars Donald Glover (CommunityThe Martian) as Earnest “Earn” Marks, Keith Stanfield (Selma, Straight Outta Compton) as Darius, and Brian Tyree Henry (Boardwalk Empire, Vice Principals) as up-and-coming rapper Alfred “Paper Boi” Miles.

Fabolous Criticizes The Re-Popping Of Jordans, Adidas NMDs & Kanye West’s Yeezys

(AllHipHop News) Brooklyn’s Fabolous is a self-admitted sneakerhead. Footwear News published a cover story where the Summertime Shootout 2: The Level Up mixtape creator  shared his thoughts on sneaker culture.

When asked what bothered him most about the world of sneakerheads today, Fab focused on the high markup involved with re-selling popular brands. He said:

The re-popping, it’s out of control. It changes the experience for the regular consumer. It used to be track down the shoe, purchase it at box price and put it on. Kids are now working three weeks to a month to get a shoe that shouldn’t be that [elevated] in cost. It’s Jordans, Yeezys — anything that’s popular. Even Adidas Originals NMDs are starting to get that chase. I don’t know the solution; just give kids the chance to buy the shoes. When Kanye West first put his shoes out, he said he [wanted] everybody to have a chance to have quality. But when they came, it was the same re-pops, same markups, and Adidas didn’t do anything about it. It’s fun for the hype when you’ve got to pay $2,000 for a $200 sneaker, but [it’s hurting] the average consumer.

EXCLUSIVE: Boxer Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller Wants To KO Young Thug and Lil Yachty

(AllHipHop News) Brooklyn bred professional heavyweight boxer Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller is apparently no fan of Young Thug or Lil Yachty, as the fighter named the controversial artists as a rappers he would like knock out.

“We need to bury him [Young Thug] six feet under. He’s just killing the game right now, in a bad way,” Jarrell Miller told AllHipHop.com.

The outspoken athlete stated that Thugger’s sporting a “tutu” in the past was one of the motivating factors in his urges to box the artist.

“For me as a Black male coming up growing and loving Hip-Hop I couldn’t support that movement, because I can’t relate to that,” Miller explained. “I can’t relate to rapping about hard core stuff and wearing a dress, it just don’t work.”

Miller also named Lil Yachty as another rapper he’d like to use as a punching bag, while questioning his colorful choice of fashion.

The internationally ranked fighter attributes the decline in the quality of current Hip-Hop to political interests.

“It’s the powers that be. They don’t want a group of educated brothers that’s really putting something in they music that really makes you open up your mind and think. This just is keeping you blind,” explained Miller.

The up and coming fighter is fresh off the heels of a win against veteran Fred Kassi by TKO, to retain his unblemished record on the road to obtaining the world title.

Update: Future The Prince Jacked For $3 Million Worth Of Jewels During Phoenix Show; Drake Reacts

Dame Dash Blasts Jay Z & Beyonce For Not Standing Up For Rachel Roy, “They Are Cowards”

Although Damon Dash and his ex-wife, Rachel Roy, don’t exactly get along, Dash still feels some kind of way about Rachel becoming “Becky with the good hair” and Bey-Z not speaking up against it.

Most people don’t feel sorry for Roy because she posted a cryptic message on Instagram as soon as Beyonce’s ‘Lemonade’ dropped alluding to the fact that she may in fact be Becky!

“Good hair don’t care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always. Live in the light #nodramaqueens,” said Roy.

To make matters worse, Roy already knew that she was rumored to be the cause of the elevator fight between Jay Z and Solange. #Elevatorgate

Hell hath no fury like Beyonce’s Beyhive fan base, so Roy and her family have been victims of both threats and online abuse ever since.

Dame Dash is fed up and now has some choice words for Hov & B!

According to Grazia, Dame says,

“They are cowards. They should have stepped up and said something. Adults can go and harass a kid on behalf of an R&B singer? The trolls should have been put in jail for that.”

Do you feel it was Beyonce and Jay Z’s responsibility to clear Rachel’s name?

Did Drake & Rick Ross Have A Secret Meeting To Squash The Meek Mill Beef?

The Hip Hop drama of MMG vs. OVO has had many twists and turns.

Another new alleged detail about the feud has emerged!

Rick Ross recently opposed the idea of meeting up with Drake to squash the Meek Mill drama when he was a guest on N.O.R.E’s Drink Champs podcast.

It seems like Rozay may have had a change of heart, as N.O.R.E recently revealed that he heard Ross and Drake did actually have a secret sit-down meeting at Prime 112 to squash Drake’s year-long beef with Meek.

“I heard Drake and Ross met in Prime 112 to squash the beef between Meek Mill and Drake. I heard that and listen, if that rumor is correct, that’s what we need to happen,” said N.O.R.E.

N.O.R.E. expressed that he probably shouldn’t have revealed that bit of information, but he felt that truce was needed in Hip Hop.

We all know Ricky Rozay is quite the character, so plans for him and Drizzy to meet-up were probably already being set in motion when Ross said he desired the exact opposite.

The American Hip-Hop artist announced he was gearing up to launch a line during his performance at the Made in America festival in Philadelphia.

Travis, real name Jacques Webster, said the range would include a range of merchandise including T-shirts, hoodies, jackets, du-rags, socks and underwear.

He added that the line would boast other more unexpected items, such as comforters, pillows, toilet tissue and toothbrushes.

And in a further announcement, the 24-year-old musician told fans that if they purchase his latest album, “Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight,” they will receive a free item of their choice from the range from Monday.

However, as of Tuesday the collection had yet to be launched on his website, travisscott.com.

Along with his surprise merchandise announcement, Travis made a memorable performance at the Made in America event, with the rapper choosing to perform his songs “Antidote” and “3005” from a tree above the crowd.
