As you know the great Erykah Badu has been known to change a few rapper’s lives! We almost kind of wish it worked out with her and Jay Electronica, Andre 3000, The D.O.C, and well Common LOL. During her interview with The Breakfast Club, she revealed that she has great relationships with her exes, and she opened up about their great qualities. Recently in her Twitter Q&A she alluded to the fact that Common was the one who knew how to touch her; he was the one who gave great massages. Lady E has the magic. Azealia Banks Accuses Lil’ Kim, K. Michelle & More Of Bleaching Their Skin

Azealia Banks’ Instagram

Azealia Banks is more known for taking shots on social media and physical altercations than her own music it seems. The girl never disappoints with some controversial Twitter commentary. This time she has accused Diana Ross, Lil’ Kim, and K. Michelle of bleaching their skin. Nicki Minaj, Tamar Braxton, Beyonce, and more have even been accused of this over the years. The way women have always altered their appearances over the years (the latest trend butt enhancements), nothing is surprising. However to accuse someone of bleaching their skin is a sensitive and controversial issue. Do you think these women are lightening their skin?

Migos & Bow Wow Take Shots At Each Other!

Bow Wow already got relentlessly roasted by Rich The Kid and Jose Guapo for explaining the origination of the Dab dance and “movement” incorrectly. Bow Wow says Dab is a strong way to smoke marijuana. He says its the purest form of marijuana, and it’s extremely strong. He says the dance comes from when you smoke and you cough, and well the first thing you allegedly do is …… “DAB”. Everyone else said this wasn’t the case. It wasn’t long before Migos jumped in, retweeting Rich The Kid and adding “clown ass.” Bow Wow replied saying,

“Go gold first and get you a stylist then we can talk! Fake ass Ying Yang Twins.”

Oh my! We wonder how this will play out. Bow Wow still sets himself up constantly on social media regardless.

Black Jesus Talks Snatching The Microphone From Slim Jesus During Concert (AUDIO)

(AllHipHop News) Slim Jesus recently suffered an embarrassing moment when he had his microphone ripped from his hands while he was performing in Canada. A local industry insider by the name of Black Jesus was the person that bum rushed the stage, and he has since done an interview with VladTV to talk about the situation.

“First off, I hate Drill. I hate wack Trap music. There’s good Trap music out there, and I think the fact that Drill has become its own genre is just a sad state of affairs for Hip Hop,” said Black Jesus. “When I watched [Slim’s “Drill Time”] video and I saw how quickly it blew up, it was interesting to me how simple it was. Just to get some white kids to rap Drill, have some fake guns – it cost him nothing to do. I wanted to capitalize on that by applying the same formula.”

The social media/digital marketing specialist discussed having to serve as the DJ for Slim’s set at the club the night of the incident, because the Indiana rapper did not have his own person to play his tracks. Apparently, Black Jesus had already planned to pull off his on-stage protest and being behind the DJ booth gave him an even better opportunity to pull it off. Afterwards, he just walked out of the venue without any problem.

“If you read the comments on his videos or articles about him, there are thousands of people saying, ‘I would smack this dude up. I might f*cking kill him.’ But how many of these people would actually do that in real life?” asked Black. “I met him in real life, and I wasn’t going to do any of that. I’m not out here trying to catch charges for beating up kids.”

He continued, “I stood up for Hip Hop. I stood up for Ottawa. I stood up for Canada. I did a symbolic gesture by snatching the mic out of his hands.”

Vince Staples: For The Music He Makes, Young Thug Is One Of The Best

(AllHipHop News) Vince Staples may have gotten more press this year for some of his public statements than his critically acclaimed Summertime ’06 album. And the Long Beach representative is ending 2015 by continuing his tendency to speak his mind, even if some diehard Hip Hop heads strongly disagree with his opinion.

Staples spoke with Pitchfork as part of the publication’s “Guest List: Best of 2015” feature. In the article, the “Norf Norf” rhymer offered praise to another often criticized young rapper – Young Thug.

“Everybody in the Hip Hop community is so upset at him for being who he is and dressing like he does, but for the kind of music he makes, he is one of the best,” said Staples.

Thug has been one of the most talked about performers of the year. From his feuds with Lil Wayne, The Game, Metro Boomin and others, to his baby mama drama, to the constant gay rumors, Thugger remained in the headlines over the last 12 months.

In addition, the Atlanta native kept his fans fed with new music. Thug dropped the mixtapes Barter 6, Slime Season, and Slime Season 2 throughout the year. He also appeared on songs by Yo Gotti, T.I., and Tinashe.

“Thug is definitely refreshing because you can’t get the type of music that he makes from anyone but him,” Staples added. “Music is a full package now, and he’s someone who embodies what a full package should be.”

The Virginia born emcee recently spoke with Beats 1‘s Zane Lowe. As the new president of G.O.O.D Music, Pusha spoke about his label’s future endeavors.

“G.O.O.D. Music is known for fan engagement. Even if you go back to the G.O.O.D. Friday [weekly series] and what that started to how people are releasing music and building anticipation,” said Pusha T.

He added, “I got a few goals that I want to make happen in regards to some type of G.O.O.D. Music Festival or at least start with a show. I feel like the fans don’t ever get to see all of us on one platform. Still, it’s all about putting out high-quality music.”

Pusha T is set to drop his next project Darkest Before Dawn on December 18. The album features production by Timbaland, Boi-1da, Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs, Q-Tip, Kanye West, and J Cole. A song titled “M.P.A. (Money P*ssy Alcohol)” features Kanye, Cole, and A$AP Rocky.

Drake’s “Hotline Bling” Omitted From Grammy Consideration Over Cash Money’s “Clerical Error”

(AllHipHop News) “Hotline Bling” is one of the biggest records of Drake’s career. The single reached #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and the video nearly broke the internet. So why didn’t the massive hit get any Grammy nominations?

Drake was not snubbed by the Grammy committee. According to reports, his label, Cash Money Records, did not submit “Hotline Bling” for consideration due to a “clerical error.” The song was likely to receive nods in several categories had CMR properly completed the process.

It should be noted that other musical work by Drake did receive nominations. The OVO leader is up for Best Rap Album (If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late), Best Rap Song (“Energy”), and Best Rap Performance (“Back To Back”).

It is not clear why those particular efforts did not suffer the same “clerical error” as “Hotline Bling.”  In addition, Drake will also compete for the Best Rap Performance award as a guest on fellow Cash Money artist Nicki Minaj’s “Truffle Butter” and the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration award as a guest on Nicki’s “Only.”
