Lawyer Blasts Judge For Denying Suge Knight’s Constitutional Rights

(AllHipHop News) Suge Knight’s communication with the outside world will continue to be limited, as he prepares for a murder and attempted murder trial.

Marion “Suge” Knight has been in and out of Los Angeles Superior Court over the past several months, claiming that his Constitutional rights are being violated as he awaits trial.

A judge has severely restricted visits to Knight in a sealed order. Officials said it wasn’t to punish Knight, but it is meant to preserve the security of the jail.

Suge Knight and his attorney claim the restrictions are hampering his effort to mount a defense against charges that he intentionally killed a man and seriously wounded another during an argument in Compton, California in January of 2015.

“We’re 100 percent correct on the law,” Knight’s lawyer Thaddeus Culpepper told ABC News. “Mr. Knight’s pretrial constitutional rights continue to be violated without justification and without notice. We’ll continue to do what’s in Suge Knight’s best interests going forward.”

For now, the former CEO of Death Row Records cannot receive mail, phone calls or visits from his family.

Suge Knight is accused of using his Ford F-150 to run over Terry Carter and kill him, and severely wound Cle Sloan during a fight at Tam’s Burgers in Compton on January 29, 2015.

The incident took place as Dr Dre and other members from the cast of “Straight Outta Compton” were filming footage to promote the movie.

Knight, 51, has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Zoey Dollaz, Anoyd, Grafh, and DA The Future – “I Ain’t Got Time”

“I Ain’t Got Time,” is an aptly titled brand-new banger A&R by Bizkit that features Zoey Dollaz, Anoyd, Grafh, and DA The Future.  Despite the four rappers from different parts of the East Coast, they complement each other perfectly here with charismatic flows and braggadocios bars that center on the chorus of,

“I be outchea on my grind, ain’t got time for me to think/I ain’t got time to chase, unless I’m chasin’ to the bank.”

The track is also tied together by producer BIRTHDAY, whose instrumental is just as rich with bass as it is hypnotizing and layered.

Soulja Boy Claims He Signed A $400 Million Deal!

Soulja Boy has everyone talking as he claims he recently closed a $400 million dollar deal. SB took to Twitter to share the news!

“From being worth 25 million at 25 to being offered 400million and closing out the deal? Just think about where I came from no man seriously!”

Jack Thriller Disses Afrika Bambaataa, Talks With Angela Yee About Getting His Own Salad Tossed

(AllHipHop News) Recently on Angela Yee’s Lip Service podcast, famed comedian and entertainer Jack Thriller got raunchy taking the podcast to new levels of craziness.

From tips on how to get away with lying, to Googling your future significant other, the two went back and forth on a range of issues dealing with relationships and sex in 2016.

During round after round of back and forth joking, Jack Thriller dissed Afrika Bambaataa taking shots at the Hip-Hop icon for his alleged sexual assaults against “little boys.”

“I don’t really have ‘No Type,’ I’m like Rae Sremmurd, you know those little boys” Jack Thriller confusingly said in reference to the types of women that he likes.

“You like little boys?” Angela Yee replied.

“Na, I like the song – not that. I don’t Afrika Bambaataa…” Jack said to laughter on the show. “He did it, he did it. Who gonna be a n#### and say, ‘Aye, Afrika Bambaataa sucked my dick when I was a little boy’?”

As the show continued on the two began to share more information about their own lives.

It’s so easy for me to be in a monogamous relationship,” Angela Yee explained.  “I feel like I’ve had some pretty good guys in my life, you know? In my past I’ve had some great boyfriends. I feel pretty happy about my relationships….”

“I love my boyfriend, everything is great, no issues,”she added.

While the conversation on the XXX Lip Service talk show started off tame with Angela’s description of her relationships, things took a raunchy turn as Jack began to talk about his own sex life.

“I wash my ass because I  like getting my ass ate out,” Jack Thriller later proclaimed to the podcast listeners.

“Whats the difference between a tongue and a finger?” Angela queried after several minutes of joking about putting fingers in Jack’s back side.

“One is wet and one is dry,” Jack answered. “I ain’t never had a girl put her finger in my ass, but I love when girls e######### out. I love that s###.”

“If you like a tongue you’ll love a finger,” Angela added.

“How you like fingers in your ass?” Jack quipped back.

“I don’t like fingers in my ass, don’t like tongue in my ass either!”

50 Cent Under Fire For Bashing Disabled Airport Employee On Instagram

(AllHipHop News) 50 Cent is again under fire for use of his Instagram.

While in the airport, 50 Cent spotted a disabled janitor and mistakenly began making fun of him for being under the influence of drugs.

“Listen the new generation is crazy, they crazy,” 50 Cent said with the camera in selfie mode.

At that point 50 cent turned the camera around and began asking the disabled airport janitor questions and interrogating him as he pushed his mop cart.

“What’s your name, look at him.,” 50 said badgering the employee. “What kind of sht you think he took before he got to work today? He high as a motha fcka, right here in the airport.  Pupils dilated and everything lookin’ like… The New generation is f*ckin’ crazy!”

Since the post numerous online sites have criticized 50 Cent’s manipulation of a disabled airport employee and several YouTubers have criticized the embattled rapper for making fun of disabled people.

It’s not the first time that 50 Cent’s Instagram has drawn the ire of courts and fans alike.

Recently 50 criticized India Arie and also was told by a Connecticut judge to tone down any social media associated with an on going case involving Rick Ross’ baby mama.

More news on this as it develops as 50 Cent has since deleted this controversial Instagram post.

Prince’s Memory Deserves Better Than Rumors And Conspiracy Theories [Op-Ed]

By now unless you have been living under a rock, you know that the world recently lost one of the few musical geniuses it had left with the passing of Prince Rogers Nelson. And whether you like it or not, you are hearing rumor after rumor about the savant regarding his life, his health, his alleged love children, recreational activities and the list goes on and on. Well meaning or distraught “friends” seem to keep finding their way to the mics in the shadows to speak on Prince in one way shape or form.

However, there is one thing that is breaking my heart about all of the gabbing that his alleged “most trusted affiliates” are doing and it’s this; Prince would hate every last second of everything that is going on. What’s worse is that everyone including his family, friends and the media know it. It feels as if our sadness is being exploited by people who care more about clicks and views than they do about this great man’s legacy or our obliterated musical souls and it’s not fair.

So, I ask in the name of “Pop Life” and all that is righteous within the world, what is wrong with us that we are so eager to watch his name and legacy be thrown under the bus all for a morbid moment of unnecessary voyeurism into the life of a man who intentionally kept us all out of his business? After all that he gave to us and to the various soundtracks of our lives, why can’t we honor him by minding our own dog gone beeswax as it pertains to those topics that he would have considered so completely invasive and taboo?

I have been sitting blankly in front of this computer screen for days now…trying to find the words to express my feelings about the loss of a man that meant so very much to me throughout my lifetime. While, co-workers and colleagues were posting such beautiful tributes and testimonials of a life so well lived, I was stressed out and eating chips by the handful wondering why in the world I could not find the words to memorialize this gentleman who I truly “adored” growing up. It was maddening and a bit disconcerting to boot.

And then the tributes began to give way to salacious gossip and speculation about the purple crooner from people who I knew good and well had never even met Prince. This did not sit well in my spirit y’all. Nothing about this felt right. For a man who was so free to walk this planet as he wished, there was still that element of secrecy that made him seem almost mythical to us. But that mystique should have been aloud to linger on until the end of time.

So, how do we get to weigh in on what he did or did not think, say or do if we’ve never met him and the circle he kept counsel with was small? He trusted so few and if we can’t see anything else we should be able to see he was justified in doing so. These people that are telling us of his personal affairs were obviously not those he trusted with the real 411. Those who were truly in the know, are people who are allowing him the dignity and respect of keeping his private affairs private.

They share things that we didn’t get to know such as Prince had a wonderful sense of humor or that he was big on philanthropy without the notoriety or fanfare that many celebrities insist upon when they help out or donate to a good cause. That type of testimony brought instant tears to us all. Take a look below at a video of Van Jones speaking Prince’s praises to see what I mean.

We should remember him though this touching tribute by one of the last national musical treasures that we have left Mr. Stevie Wonder. Take a look.

My point guys is simple, if you loved him then honor him in this way…celebrate him as the artist that he worked so freakin hard to be. Honor the persona Prince and all of it’s purple majesty without being so disrespectful to the person Mr. Nelson who never invited you into his personal life or business. If you loved him, then give him that respect that we all know he would have appreciated. We can mourn him without being cheap about it. He was famous for his artistry but it stopped there. He wasn’t a Kardashian parked in front of the cameras and begging for us to look at him. We looked at him because it was impossible not to.

I know as fans we feel entitled but as fans of Prince specifically…we must know that we aren’t. We are not owed even one detail about his passing that he would not have wanted shared with us. Because in the end it won’t fix what’s wrong anyway. He’s gone and this will not bring him back or get us any closer to closure. We’re hurting at the loss and as he said, “The beautiful ones you always seem to lose.”

To conclude, I want to directly address those who are speculating, gossiping and flat out lying about this man which is taking the focus away from his genius and placing the focus where it does not belong…in two words and in his own words…”Damn You!”

Karrine Steffans Claims To Be “Becky With The Good Hair”

Superhead just couldn’t stay out of the drama! Beyonce’s loyal fan base, the Beyhive, has been stinging Rachel Roy and Rita Ora in search of the “Becky With The Good” hair Beyonce alluded to. Well Karrine “Superhead” Steffans told XOJane.com that she was one of Jay Z’s “Beckys with the good hair” long before Jay Z married Beyonce. She says,

“Over 15 years ago, I had Beyonce’s husband.”

Steffans talks meeting Jay Z through her cousin Chuck which happened to start her music video career. Then she gets on to becoming Becky.

“Yes, I was one of Jay Z’s Beckys back in the year 2000 for about three minutes, which is about as long it takes me to satisfy a man in the back of a Maybach while overlooking the beaches of Malibu.”

Chauffeured away from the set, down the winding road, and closer to the shoreline, Jay and I feasted on our attraction to one another — rabidly and quickly. After just a few minutes, I lifted my head from his lap, wiped my lips, and knew we’d made a mistake. Over the next few years, I would see Jay again, as I became close with his then business partner Damon Dash. We never mentioned our Malibu melee and acted as if it never happened. My cousin Chuck would be livid.

This was pre-Yoncé, of course, but the fact is that a Becky is a Becky, and I was the Becky for many men, and they were all my salvation and my destitution. They were my reason and my rationale, my life and my death, and eventually, my fame and my infamy.

Why Karrine; just why? Anything to stay relevant huh?

Diddy Plans To Go Out With A Bang But Not Without 50 Cent’s Taunting

Diddy certainly plans to exit the music industry with a bang. Puff recently covered the June issue of Cigar Aficionado magazine, and spoke on his plans for retiring from music, which include a world tour.

“I’m going to put out my last album and devote 100 percent of my time to doing films … I want to stop at a great place. And a final album is a great place to stop. I want to take a victory lap, to do a world tour and really enjoy it once last time.”

Comb’s final album will be “No Way Out 2.” Diddy believes that this will be his best album as he wants to make the “most honest and best” music that he can make.

By bowing out with one last album. Puff hopes to solidify his legacy. 50 Cent just couldn’t be happy for Diddy as he poked fun at him by saying,

“Wait I thought he retired 10 years ago after that last album. Peace my n*gga LOL.”

What do you think of Diddy retiring from music?

Kevin Durant Talks Drake Shout Out On ‘Views’

(AllHipHop News) This past weekend Drake’s Views project was flying off the Internet’s proverbial shelves as early estimates say that Views earned over 150 million streams in its first week.

By now Drake’s Views is being dissected in every way possible from staunch critics to casual fans, but through out all of hype it was almost impossible not to notice the huge shout out that Drake gave Kevin Durant on the song “Weston Road Flows.”

According to SportingNews, Kevin Durant was “all smiles” after hearing his favorite rapper shout him out on his new project.

“A lot of people just hit me up when my name is mentioned/Shout out to KD we relate we get the same attention/It’s rainin’ money, Oklahoma City Thunder/The most successful rapper 35 and under.”

“When your favorite rapper puts your name in a song, it makes you feel like you made it,” he explained.

Both Drake and Durant have a history after the Toronto Raptors were reportedly fined $25,000 after Drake was found to be tampering by encouraging KD to come play with Toronto.

“You know, my brother Kevin Durant was kind enough to come to the show tonight and watch us. I just want him to see what would happen if he came to play in Toronto. Let him know what would happen,” Drake told a concert back in 2014.

French Montana Drops $3 Million For Selena Gomez’ House

(AllHipHop News) French Montana is moving in to Selena Gomez’ old home after purchasing the Calabasas, California mansion at a discount.

The pop star placed her dream house on the market for $4.5 million in November, after less than two years in the property, following a stalker scare.

She later slashed around $1 million from the asking price, and now she has managed to offload the pad to rapper French.

He reportedly paid $3.3 million for the new space, $150,000 less than it was listed for, according to TMZ.com.

The Mediterranean-style home boasts five bedrooms and six bathrooms, a large outdoor swimming pool, a screening room, and a wine cellar, and is located not far from the hip-hop star’s ex-girlfriend Khloe Kardashian’s property.

Selena’s ideal home turned into a nightmare just days after she bought the place in early 2014, after an overzealous fan showed up on her doorstep twice in two weeks and had to be arrested.

The “Come & Get It” singer also called the police on three other occasions to report an intruder on the grounds.

French isn’t the only celebrity to pick up a pad from Selena.

Iggy Azalea and her fiance, basketball player Nick Young, took her Tarzana, California house off her hands in 2014, when they paid $3.5 million for the six-bedroom mansion, which features a pool and spa, a sports court, and a guesthouse.

Selena had bought the property in July, 2011 and moved out after a huge renovation in May, 2014, before relocating to Calabasas, where her on/off boyfriend Justin Bieber used to live.

Blac Chyna Robbed of $200k! Sex Tape With Tyga Being Shopped

image

Looks like Tyga and Blac Chyna’s sex life is about to come explode on the Internet. According to multiple reports, an XXX tape starring the pair is being shopped to multiple outlets.

According to reports, the sex tape may have been “jacked” from a safe during a burglary at her house over the weekend.

Chyna was also sitting on about $200,000 in cash and jewelry and it was all stolen during the robbery.

There was no forced entry and someone knew how to get into the house and the safe.

Storing the sex tape is kind of weird since Rob Kardashian is engaged to Blac Chyna, who used to date Tyga, who now dates Kylie Jenner, Rob Kardashian’s half-sister.

Blac Chyna is supposedly working with a lawyer to prevent her sex tape with Tyga from being sold off.

All of this is great for the Season 12 of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” which will center on Rob’s relationship with Blac Chyna, who doesn’t even appear on the show. The first episode premiered last night (May 1) and showcased Khloe bashing Rob over proposing to Blac Chyna.

As for Tyga, he’s using the extra eyeballs to promote a new t-shirt line he just dropped with Saks 5th Avenue.

How long have you been making music?

I’ve been making music pretty much all my life. It was a creative outlet for me that kept me out of trouble when I was growing up. I just really started taking it more seriously in the last 5 years.

What inspired you to create the song “The Stick Up”?

“The Stick Up” was inspired by people always talking about how we always need to “take it back” to this era and that era, which ultimately never really made any sense to me, because to “take it back” in that sense means we kind of have to regress or go backwards. So when I say “take it back,” I mean literally strong arm the culture back from all of the negative counterproductive forces that hinder the culture as a whole, so we can move forward. Radio and TV shouldn’t be dictating what’s hot, the streets should.

Who directed the video? How did you come up with the treatment?

I came up with the concept of the video, and this dope crew out of ATL called the Risk Takerz shot the video and made the edits fresh. We definitely are gonna do some more work together.

Are you planning to release a full body of work?

Absolutely, this is the first trickle from a tsunami of things I plan on dropping in the next 18-24 months. I’m hitting the streets with an extended EP late May/early June, me and my group The Bodega Brovas are dropping our debut album July 15th, and I plan on hitting y’all with a full solo LP before the end of the year. We all got things to say, and this is how we get our thoughts out.

How do you manage doing radio, TV, and recording?

It’s tough man, because sometimes one thing hinders the other. With Dish Nation, I’m kind of tethered to the city for days out of the week so I can shoot the show. It’s great money, so I can’t screw that up. Radio, you can kind of pipe in and do from anywhere thanks to technology. As far as recording goes, I have a studio at my crib so I can knock these joints out as they come to me. More than anything, I’m really looking forward to getting back out and seeing the fans. It’s been a minute since I took the show on the road.

What’s your take on Hip Hop culture at the moment?

I’m starting to see the shift happen. The culture has become pretty self contained again and not so reliant on the mainstream to support the artist. You see guys like Childish Gambino, Raury, Logic, and others without big radio tunes getting out there and packing venues and moving some decent records without the traditional push, and that’s pretty dope. Even regionally you are starting to see different sounds come out of places that are usually known for just one thing sonically, and that looks like growth to me.
