Boosie and Ralo collaborated in the past, but their relationship deteriorated over snitching allegations. Boosie called Ralo a rat. Ralo denied the allegations.

The bad blood between the two resurfaced this week after Ralo said he didn’t want to be “on stage like Boosie rapping when he 40, 50 years old.” Boosie responded on X (formerly known as Twitter).

“I HAVE NOT SPOKE ON YOU N YEARS @ralofamgoon,” Boosie wrote. “U STILL HURT BY WHAT U DID!! WHAT U DID lol IM GRATEFUL THAT IM STILL MAKING 150k A WEEKEND N SELLING OUT SHOWS. U DONT HAVE A RAP CAREER N WILL NEVER HAVE ONE!! N U RIGHT U SHOULD BE A CEO. CAUSE ONE THING YOU CANT DO ‘IS MAKE MUSIC.’ GOD DID NOT GIVE U THAT TALENT #leavehiphopalone.”

Ralo claimed his comment wasn’t intended to be a diss.

Jeezy Accused Of Reneging On Jeannie Mai Divorce Settlement

Jeezy’s ex-wife Jeannie Mai claimed he left her hanging after settling their divorce. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Mai told a judge her ex-husband failed to follow through on several terms of their deal.

Mai said Jeezy never paid $4,000 to cover tuition and childcare costs for their daughter after agreeing to do so in the settlement. Mai noted she was never given access to a $500,000 account Jeezy was supposed to set up for their child.

Jeezy agreed to pay Mai’s rent for May through August to settle their divorce. Mai said he owed her $92,417.39 for roughly four months of rent.

Mai also accused Jeezy of refusing to transfer the titles to a 2021 Range Rover and a 2022 Ford Bronco to her. Their settlement awarded the two vehicles to her. She sought the court’s help since she couldn’t get insurance for both rides without the titles.

Jeezy filed for divorce in 2023. Abuse allegations surfaced during their legal dispute. Jeezy denied abusing Mai.

“The allegations are not only false but also deeply disturbing, especially coming from someone I loved,” he said. “This malicious attempt to tarnish my character and disrupt my family is ridiculous. It’s disheartening to witness the manipulation and deceit at play and at this time my main concern is being an active father to our daughter as I continue to fight for court-mandated joint custody. Rest assured, the truth will prevail through the proper legal channels.”

Jeezy and Mai finalized their divorce in June. Terms of the settlement weren’t disclosed.

Boosie Badazz Demands Next POTUS Put Snipers In Schools Following Alapachee High Shooting

Boosie Badazz is demanding change from the highest office in the nation after a teenager allegedly carried out the deadly shooting at a Georgia High School that claimed four lives.

The tragic school shooting, which took place at Apalachee High School, caught Boosie’s attention. He vented his frustration over the increasing violence in American schools and the lack of adequate protection for children on Twitter (X).

The Louisiana-bred rapper kicked his remarks off by calling on the winner of the 2024 Presidential election to immediately draft legislation addressing security issues in schools. He even went as far as suggesting his own covert defense plan in the process.

“#Anotherschoolshooting THE NEXT PRESIDENT NEED TO MAKE A LAW THAT PUTS 4 ARMED SNIPERS N EVERY SCHOOL N THIS COUNTRY TO PROTECT OUR CHILDREN,” Boosie wrote.

Boosie further pressured the U.S. Government to invest in specific protection for school aged children.

“EVERY YEAR THIS COUNTRY SHREDS BILLIONS OF DOLLARS AT THE END OF THE YEAR N THROWS IT AWAY,” he wrote. “WHY CANT SOME OF THAT MONEY BE SPENT TO PROTECT OUR CHILDREN? WE PROTECT SPORTS, ENTERTAINMENT VENUES, CASINOS, FEDERAL BUILDINGS ETC.

He added, “CALLING MY BABY MOMAS ‘IM THINKING HOME SCHOOL,'” echoing the rising anxiety among parents considering alternative ways to keep their children safe while they’re learning.

According to a report from USA Today, 14-year-old Colt Gray is the primary suspect behind the shooting that claimed the lives of two students and two teachers. Gray opened fire with an AR-platform style weapon at the school in Winder, Georgia—which is a rural town about an hour northeast of Atlanta.

The victims have been identified as Mason Schermerhorn, 14, Christian Angulo, 14, Richard Aspinwall, 39, and Christina Irimie, 53. Nine others were also reportedly injured in the attack, making it the deadliest school shooting of the year.

Law enforcement responded within minutes, and Gray surrendered without further violence. Authorities have stated that Gray will be charged as an adult and face multiple counts of murder.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation Director Chris Hosey confirmed that the investigation is ongoing, particularly into how the teenager acquired the weapon. Last year, local law enforcement investigated threats made on Discord by someone using Gray’s account, but conflicting evidence hindered them from taking action.

Rick Ross Mocks 50 Cent’s Celibacy With Cuban Link Dig

Rick Ross trolled 50 Cent in reaction to the G-Unit star’s appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Rozay referenced his longtime foe’s breakup with Cuban Link after watching Colbert question the New Yorker’s celibacy and stance on marriage.

“Cuban Link [heartbroken emoji],” Ross commented on Instagram.

50 Cent stopped by The Late Show on Wednesday (September 4). Colbert asked if his guest was truly celibate.

“When you calm down, you can focus,” the Power franchise producer said. “It’s been good. I’ve been good to me.”

50 Cent claimed celibacy provided him with clarity.

“That’s when things start getting complicated,” he said. “Things start getting confusing ‘cause people coming for different reasons. And then if you go on a date, but you actually have no interest in anything, I can see you now. [I] say, ‘G###### girl, you fine but you ain’t got nothing going on.’”

Colbert wondered if 50 Cent had any interest in marriage. The rapper-turned-TV mogul insisted he’s happy with the single life.

“I’m safe,” he said. “I’m not a happy hostage. I’m here, man. I’m free. I’ve made some mistakes, just not that one.”

He added, “I want someone I can love in my life too. I just don’t—not right now. I’m fine.”

50 Cent declared he was practicing abstinence in January. Rumors of him breaking up with Cuban Link surfaced around the same time.

“Dam lil brother ,we just spoke about shooting a video,” he wrote. “special prayer for you and your family , and pray for any and everybody that’s dealing with something. my condolences bru.”

Rich Homie Quan Death Rumors Confirmed

Rumors of Rich Homie Quan passing away started spreading on social media on Thursday (September 5). Various users were saying the rapper died of an overdose or heart attack, but no real sources spoke up to let fans know the truth. His family eventually confirmed his death to TMZ.

Young Thug fan page Thugger Daily was among the most prominent accounts spreading the rumor online. Thugger Daily claimed “2 good sources” said it was “likely” true but nothing was confirmed yet.

“Hearing Rich Homie Quan passed away today due to a possible OD… Please don’t be true,” the account revealed.

Fans were stunned as they struggled to process the information. Many people questioned if the rumors were true, wondering if it was just another celebrity death hoax. Rapper T.O Green said the rumor was confirmed, blaming a “bad pill” in what was meant to be a private message.

Jacquees confused fans when he mourned Rich Homie Quan on Twitter before quickly deleting the post.

“Man my brother Quan was one of dem ones and responsible for so much s### man,” Jacquees wrote. “ I love you bru, just talked to you and you told me how proud you was of me. Ima miss you bru. Forever, I ain’t cried in forever bru…this one HURT FR…”

Rich Homie Quan’s family and rep for the Fulton County morgue verified his passing. No cause of death was revealed.

Major Legal Battle Between Eminem’s Publisher & Spotify Reaches Verdict

Spotify has won its legal battle with Eminem’s publisher after being accused of streaming the rapper’s music without permission.

Eight Mile Style sued the streaming platform in 2019 for approximately £30 million (about $39 million in U.S. dollars) in damages, per BBC. In their suit, the publisher claimed Eminem was never paid for songs that had been “streamed on Spotify billions of times.”

Although the judge found that Spotify didn’t have the proper license, a Tennessee judge ruled that Spotify wasn’t liable for any lost royalties.

Additionally, the court also concluded that if Spotify were found guilty, Kobalt Music Group would pay the penalty. Kobalt is a company that administers song rights and collects royalties, including on behalf of Eminem’s publisher.

Eminem was not a party to the lawsuit and was surprised to learn of the filing. His music was available to stream on the platform throughout the five-year legal dispute. The Detroit legend is one of the most streamed artists on the platform, sitting at No. 12, with 76 million monthly listeners.

Spotify/Eminem

Juge Brands Situation “Inexplicable”

In the suit, Eight Mile Style alleged Spotify “acted deceptively” pretending to have licenses for 243 Eminem songs.

Spotify blamed Kobalt Music Publishing, alleging the company misled it into falsely believing it controlled the administration of Eight Mile’s catalog. Eight Mile argued against the “baseless” allegations in court for years.

In her opinion, dated August 15, Judge Aleta A. Trauger ruled Spotify should not be liable. She also noted that Kobalt was not authorized to license Eminem’s songs in the US and Canada. The rights were previously transferred to an affiliate of Eight Mile, Bridgeport Music, without formally notifying third parties.

Branding the situation “inexplicable”, Judge Trauger said that Eight Mile was not the “hapless victim” it claimed to be.

“Eight Mile Style had every opportunity to set things right and simply chose not to do so for no apparent reason, other than that being the victim of infringement pays better than being an ordinary licensor,” she wrote.

Additionally, Spotify’s agreement with Kobalt did not clarify which songs could be streamed, and Judge Trauger noted it was “surprisingly plausible that Spotify might be genuinely confused.”

Doechii Unveils Male Alter Ego: “I’m Attracted To Myself Right Now”

Doechii has turned the tables on critics claiming she looks like a man, unveiling her male alter ego, Ricardo.

The eclectic artist covered Paper Magazine following the release of her latest mixtape, Alligator Bites Never Heal, where she debuted the new character.

While her Swamp Princess persona takes center stage in the project, Doechii created her male alter ego in response to criticism of her appearance.

“Last year, I started seeing comments from people who would say, ‘She looks like a man,’” she explained. “Or, ‘She has on too much makeup. She looks like a drag queen.’ All these comments never bother me, because I just find it interesting. But I was like, ‘Since they keep saying I look like a man, I’m gonna f###### give them a man.’”

She settled on the name Ricardo, deciding he would be a bisexual Panamanian “eight-pack, mustache man.””

Doechii revealed she had always wanted to transform herself using prosthetics and had a great time getting into the Ricardo character. “Literally, when I put on the prosthetics, I was like, ‘Oh my god, I’m attracted to myself right now. I wish I could f### me,’” she said.

The Top Dog Entertainment artist also revealed how her labelmates have supported her.

“[Schoolboy] Q has given me a lot of advice and so has SZA,” Doechii shared, adding that she asked the Blue Lips creator how he knows when an album is complete.

“He told me, ‘You know your album is done when you have nothing left to say,’” she recalled. “That really hit me, and I was like, ‘Okay, I’m gonna keep writing and pouring my heart into this until I have literally nothing left to say.’”

Drake Opens Up About Lean Use In New Lil Durk Collab Snippet

Drake is teasing another new collab, this time with Lil Durk, and he’s letting fans know where he stands when it comes to drinking lean.

In recent weeks, Drake has shared a steady stream of new and unreleased music. Last month, he dropped 100 Gigs of content from the archive and has recently teased some tracks via popular streamers.

On Wednesday (September 4), Adin Ross debuted a new track from the Toronto rap star featuring Lil Durk. The snippet begins with Durkio before Drake kicks in with his characteristic melodic flow.

Drake croons about “Discontinuing Wockhardt,” the supposed title of the song and a reference to a brand of prescription cough syrup containing promethazine with codeine, misused to make lean.

“What seal do I pop now?” he says. “You know that the Act’ gone, I can’t get no Wok now.”

Drake admitted to drinking lean during a 2012 interview with The Guardian. However, he denied using it “excessively,” insisting, “I’m not a reckless guy. I do it all within moderation.”

Meanwhile, Drake’s “Discontinuing Wockhardt” collaborator recently kicked his lean habit. In June, Lil Durk revealed he was clean after a spell in rehab to treat his addiction to Codeine and Xanax.

“It was tough at first, but it ain’t that tough ’cause I really knew what I wanted,” he said. “I knew what was holding me back. I wanted better. I want to be a better man, a better father, a better leader.”

The Weeknd is gearing up to deliver the last album in a three-part series, Hurry Up Tomorrow.

The trilogy began in 2020 with After Hours, with the second instalment, Dawn FM, arriving two years later, in 2022. Earlier this year, The Weeknd confirmed that the third and final album in the trilogy was underway.

On Wednesday (September 4), the four-time Grammy Award winner announced the album title. The Weeknd unveiled Hurry Up Tomorrow with an ominous trailer littered with cryptic messages and statements. The visual was accompanied by a haunting soundtrack, heightening the drama.

“Yesterday was fourteen years ago,” the trailer begins. “The very thing that once made me invincible failed me on the world stage. A new trauma surfaced.”

The teaser concludes, “A new path awaits. When today ends, I’ll discover who I am,” before unveiling the album title “HURRY UP TOMORROW.”

50 Cent Reveals Unexpected Benefits Of Dating While Celibate

50 Cent kicked off the year by announcing a vow of abstinence, and he recently revealed celibacy has some surprising advantages.

The G-Unit mogul stopped by “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on Wednesday (September 4) where the host questioned if he really is celibate. 50 Cent didn’t answer directly, stating, “When you calm down, you can focus. It’s been good, I’ve been good to me.”

Colbert asked him why he was amassing such wealth without “motivating factors in our evolutionary biology” driving his decisions.

“That’s when things start getting complicated,” he replied. “Things start getting confusing because people coming for different reasons.”

Celibacy has significant benefits when it comes to dating, according to 50 Cent. “If you go on a date but you have no interest in anything, I can see you now,” 50 Cent explained. “I said ‘G####### girl, you fine but you ain’t got nothing going on.”

Although he’s dating, 50 Cent has no plans to get married. “I’m safe, I’m not a happy hostage,” he replied when asked if he’d ever walked down the aisle. “I’m free. I’ve made some mistakes, just not that one.”

50 Cent’s New Year Announcement

50 Cent announced he was abstaining from sex to stay focused on his grand plans in January.

“My new idea is so big, I don’t have time to be distracted,” he wrote on Instagram. “I’m practicing abstinence, I have been meditating and focusing on my goals. I hope this New Year helps you excel to the next level.”

Nonetheless, it appears 50 Cent’s celibacy journey has come to an end. “I did it for as long as I could,” he told Us Weekly last month.

As for his “goals,” 50 Cent just launched his debut fiction novel The Accomplice. Additionally, his inaugural Humor & Harmony Festival was a resounding success. He’s also plowing ahead with step two of his three-phase plan for Shreveport, the home of G-Unit Film & Television Studios.

Marlon Wayans Sheds Light On Wayans Family’s Silent Protest On “In Living Color”

Marlon Wayans opened up about his family leaving In Living Color, explaining the behind-the-scenes decisions that preceded their departure from the groundbreaking show.

Wayans addressed his family’s exit during the latest episode of Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast.

“I remember when we left ‘In Living Color’ because Fox was syndicating the show and it was hurting Keenen’s pockets,” Marlon recalled. “Keenen was like, ‘Nah, you ain’t gonna do this to me.’ My family said, ‘F### this money.’ And we all left ‘In Living Color.’”

He went on to explain that the siblings wore black glasses during the “Driving Miss Schott” Christmas episode in silent protest of the network’s treatment of Keenan.

“We’re going, ‘You ain’t gonna f### my brother,’” he said of their stand. “We’re a family. You touch one, you touch all.’” Although the network offered “big checks” to keep the family on the show, the siblings remained steadfast.

“I’m still a brother after this. No, I’m gonna support my brother,” Marlon explained. “And we all left the show. That’s why season five, it got weird.”

Created by Keenen Ivory Wayans, who also served as an original executive producer, writer, and cast member for the show, In Living Color helped propel him and his siblings into the spotlight. The show aired on Fox from 1990 to 1994, and also featured siblings Damon, Kim, Marlon, and Shawn Wayans.

However, despite its success, off-camera tensions led the famous family to quit. Keenen faced financial struggles over the sketch comedy show’s syndication and the siblings refused to stay.

Ludacris Dons Iconic Giant Arms For First Pitch At Braves Game Leaving Young Fans Perplexed

Ludacris revived the giant arms from his 2004 “Get Back” music video to throw out the ceremonial first pitch for the Atlanta Braves game against the Colorado Rockies.

Wednesday (September 4) was Ludacris Night at Truist Park. The Braves celebrated the Grammy Award-winning rapper as part of an ongoing effort to pay homage to local Atlanta musical legends.

The tribute began at The Battery Atlanta food truck, featuring Southern soul food inspired by the menu of Ludacris’ Chicken and Beer restaurant. Luda’s DJ, DJ Infamous, played his hits on the decks.

The first 15,000 fans entering Truist Park received an exclusive Ludacris bobblehead commemorating the occasion. Ludacris rocked the cartoonishly large arms and sneakers from the Spike Jonze-directed video while throwing out the first pitch.

However, younger fans, unfamiliar with Luda’s history of creating iconic rap music videos, were baffled by the sight of the oversized appendages. While Ludacris is an Atlanta rap legend, many younger fans only know him for acting, especially in the Fast & Furious movies, and were unfamiliar with the 20-year-old music video and giant arms.

The comment section of Luda’s’ Instagram posts was split between fans quoting “Get Back” lyrics and others who had no clue what was happening. Some even joked that Ludacris sprouted giant arms after his recent taste of glacial water.

“I am so confused,” one person noted while another questioned, “What is going on with his arms.” A third added, “Man a lotta folks in the comments did not see Luda pre-Fast & the Furious I reckon.”

Nonetheless, another fan clarified, “People don’t understand Luda had the rap game in a headlock music wise and video shoot wise in the early 2000s.”

Dame Dash Challenges 50 Cent To TV Network Battle, Baits Him Into Buying Stake In Roc-A-Fella

Dame Dash has fired back at 50 Cent after his recent claims that the former Roc-A-Fella mogul is out of money. In an Instagram post he shared on Wednesday (September 4), Dame issued a challenge to 50 Cent for a CEO-level battle, rooted in their respective ventures in the television and streaming industries.

He started off the nearly four-minute video by addressing the comments 50 Cent made on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast. In particular, Dame targeted 50 Cent’s claim that he “has no money now” in response to the criticism he received over the seven-figure record deal with Shady Records that the G-Unit mogul said he never forgot.

“Somebody definitely sent me that cute s##t 50 said about me not having no money,” he began. “I feel like now me and 50 should have a battle, and no gangster s##t. I’m 53 years old. That would be whack and corny for the culture.”

Instead of the typical diss-track back-and-forth inherent to rap beefs, Dame Dash proposed a different type of challenge, playing on their business acumen rather than street credibility or lyrical prowess.

“He’s in the television network business now,” he said. “So if I was a rapper, I would be like, alright, I’m going to make a diss record, you make a diss record. Now let’s not do that. Let’s do CEO War, right?”

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by AllHipHop (@allhiphopcom)

Dame Dash went on to dare 50 Cent to drop his television network, 50 Cent Action TV, and release a new original movie in response to his own plans to release content through his platform, America Nu.

“I’m going to drop my network,” he said. “And what I’m going to do is also drop a new original American movie,” he said, announcing the release of The Prince of Detroit, an America Nu original film that will be available both in theaters and on his streaming service.

But Dame’s challenge didn’t stop at creative content. He took the opportunity to bait 50 Cent into a potential business deal involving one-third of Roc-A-Fella Records, the historic label Dame co-founded with JAY-Z.

“50 was popping it to what I heard, that he had that 12 million to buy Roc-A-Fella and beat Jay’s boss,” he said. “But where you at? It’s still for sale. The starting price was 1.2 [million]. Now it’s 3 million. And if you got it like you say it, buy it. I challenge you.”

Dame Dash has never been one to shy away from a public spat, and his latest move against 50 Cent is just another chapter in their long-standing rivalry. Over the years, the two have clashed on various occasions, with 50 frequently taking shots at Dame’s financial situation, and Dame countering with his entrepreneurial endeavors and strategic business challenges.

Dame is being forced to auction off his 33 percent stake in the label to satisfy the $805,000 judgment to director Josh Webber.

Isaac Hayes III Reveals Court Injunction Banning Trump’s Use Of Estate’s Music For Campaign

Isaac Hayes III has spoken out after a court decision granted an Injunction against Donald Trump’s unauthorized use of “Hold On, I’m Coming.”

In a recent social media post, Isaac Hayes III shared the news that his family had been granted an injunction against former President Donald Trump, preventing him from using the iconic song at his campaign rallies. During a press conference following the hearing, Hayes III provided further insight into the legal proceedings of the lawsuit. Hayes III, who has been at the forefront of this legal battle, expressed satisfaction with the court’s decision, while also assuring fans the family estate continues to explore legal options.

“We are pleased with the decision by the court and move to the next phase of this lawsuit,” he said. He emphasized Trump had been explicitly instructed to cease and desist from using the song after BMI terminated the license.

“There’s no any opportunity to return to use the song,” he stated. “And that was told to him over a hundred days ago and he continued to use the song. So there’s no coming back from using the song.”

When asked about claims that the lawsuit was politically motivated, Hayes strongly refuted the suggestion: “That’s totally not politically motivated.”

In doing so, he highlighted his his legal counsel’s extensive experience in handling similar cases, noting that he has been involved in helping over 250 artists escape bad contracts and situations like this one.

Hayes III went on to commend the legal team for their relentless efforts in securing the injunction while remarking on his desire for Isaac Hayes’ legacy as a songwriter to be properly acknowledged in response to a question about the judge’s decision not to allow a particular piece of video evidence in the case.

“I wanted him to know that Isaac Hayes was a songwriter and had written amazing records like, ‘Hold On, I’m Coming’ and ‘Soul Man,’ for artists like Sammy David, he established himself as a writer,” he said. “So for people think that nobody knows that Isaac Hayes wrote, ‘Hold On, I’m Coming,’ that’s just simply not true. He was inducted into the songwriters Hall of Fame along with David Porter in 2005. So there are very many people that know, and more importantly the people that we do business with that could affect Donald Trump using our music, know who Isaac Hayes is and who the writer of that song is.”

Earlier this year, the family of late R&B icon Isaac Hayes demanded Donald Trump stop using “Hold On, I’m Coming” at campaign rallies and threatened him with a $3 million lawsuit. The family claims the song was used 134 between 2022 and 2024 and confirmed they would demand damages of “$150,000 per use..” if forced to continue with litigation. The family claims the Trump campaign “willfully and brazenly engaged in copyright infringement,” using the song“despite being asked repeatedly not to engage in such illegal use.”

The case isn’t an isolated incident for Trump, as he has faced similar lawsuits from various artists whose music was used without authorization during his campaigns. LL COOL J Reveals Why “Accidental Racist” Song Bothers Him Years Later

LL COOL J admitted his “Accidental Racist” collaboration with Brad Paisley was a complete failure in an interview with Vulture. The Hip-Hop legend viewed the song as the biggest misfire of his career.

“I completely blew that one,” he said. “Like, in terms of my intention versus how it came off to people. Oh my God. Like, I missed the mark crazy. And it always bothered me because my intention was absolutely not how it came off. I feel like it was like having a hot date with a vegan and setting everything up wonderful and the first thing the chef brings out is a big, juicy steak. But you think it’s vegan still, you know what I mean? I completely screwed that one up and didn’t mean to. It was the worst kind of miss because it’s one thing to fail; it’s another thing to fail when you’re looking to do the right thing and you’re looking to say the right thing.”

Paisley defended “Accidental Racist” when it dropped in 2013. The country star claimed he “wouldn’t change a thing” about the track, which appeared on his Wheelhouse album.

The infamous single featured many questionable lyrics, including LL COOL J’s “R.I.P. Robert E. Lee, but I’ve gotta thank Abraham Lincoln for freeing me.” The song remained a sore spot for him over a decade later.

“It goes gold, which is really f###### bizarre,” he told Vulture. “I don’t even have a copy of the plaque. I never even asked for one. Like, I made songs that just weren’t great songs. Okay, I can live with that. But to have a song that garners that much attention and actually negatively impacts the way people perceive my intention was the worst. That s### was the worst. I think it was just the idea that, somehow, I was looking to appease racists. Yo, bro, that is not what I meant.”

He continued, “To put it in simple terms, I was trying to say, ‘First of all, just leave me the f### alone because of what I look like. Let’s start there. And then we could see what else can happen from there.’ But instead, I said the iron chains and the durag … It just was a bad metaphor. It was just all wrong.”

LL COOL J is releasing his comeback album The FORCE on Friday (September 6). The project is his first studio album since 2013.

EXCLUSIVE: Diddy Accuser’s Lawyer Calls Out Mogul’s Legal Team For “Disturbing” Behavior

Diddy accuser April Lampros contested his motion to dismiss her lawsuit and proposed adding more allegations to her complaint on Monday (September 2). According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, Lampros’ lawyer Tyrone Blackburn requested approval for the “addition of new facts” and the withdrawal of emotional distress-related claims against Sony Music and others.

“At this time, the plaintiff seeks leave of the court to amend its complaint to withdraw the negligent infliction of emotional distress claim against corporate defendants and to add additional facts to remedy the issues in the pleading identified by the defendants in their respective motions to dismiss,” Blackburn wrote.

Lampros sued Diddy for sexual assault, battery, infliction of emotional distress and gender-motivated violence in May. Lampros accused Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, of sexually assaulting her on at least four occasions.

Diddy’s legal team attacked Lampros’ lawyer’s credibility in their motion to dismiss. They claimed Blackburn improperly filed cases for media attention and pressured defendants to settle out of court.

Blackburn defended himself in his response to the motion. He said Diddy’s legal team had a “sick obsession” with him that went from “flattering to disturbing.”

“[Combs and Bad Boy Records’] counsels attach themselves to a single sentence of an opinion of an unrelated case to try and classify the plaintiff’s pleading as ‘salacious’ or meritless with the sole intent of forcing defendants to ‘settle,” Blackburn wrote. “For starters, plaintiff never requested a settlement from defendants SC and BBR. The plaintiff intends to hold SC and BBR accountable for their actions before a jury of their peers.”

He continued, “Secondly, although this writer picks his clients, he does not pick their facts. If SC had not engaged in salacious criminal behavior, this writer would not have had anything salacious to file. SCs’ counsels should spend their time teaching him lessons he clearly missed growing up as a child: 1. No means no, and 2. men should never put their hands (or feet) on women.”

Blackburn also represents producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, who sued Diddy in February. Lampros and Jones are two of the multiple people who’ve filed sexual assault lawsuits against Diddy over the past year.

Diddy settled one of the civil cases in November 2023. He is currently under federal investigation for sex trafficking.

KRS-One Thinks Hip-Hop Needs To Do Better Honoring Icons In Wake Of Fatman Scoop Death

KRS-One has called on Hip-Hop fans and gatekeepers to honor its icons before their passing while reflecting on the legacy of the late Fatman Scoop.

In a recent interview, the legendary rapper and cultural commentator voiced his frustration with the way the Hip-Hop community often fails to recognize its icons until after they have passed away. His remarks heavily relied on the recent death of beloved DJ and hypeman Fatman Scoop, who he believed deserved to be celebrated while he was still breathing. KRS-One began by criticizing the lack of recognition Fatman Scoop received during his lifetime, despite his sustained meteoric rise.

“That energy should be on the radio,” he emphasized, lamenting the absence of Fatman Scoop’s music from mainstream airwaves. “It’s a shame that now that he’s passed, we’re talking about him in this way. Hip-Hop got to stop doing that. Only when dudes passed, that’s when they get honored and stuff like that. We should have been looking to Fatman Scoop when his career was blowing up.”

He went on to highlight how Fatman Scoop’s contributions and immense influence were often overlooked, pointing out that only a select few DJs who were aware of his talent would play his music on the radio.

“He never got played on no stations or nothing,” he said. “Only DJs that knew would throw his music on.

When asked about whether other musical genres face similar challenges in honoring their legends, KRS-One dismissed the notion that Hip-Hop should look to other genres for guidance. In doing so, he emphasized his belief that as a genre and culture, Hip-Hop is the true tastemaker of the music industry.

“Other genres suck,” he said. “They don’t give a f##k. Who gives a f##k about them. Hip-Hop runs s##t so f##k all these other genres really. Okay. Hip-Hop runs this whole music industry.” he asserted.

KRS-One continued, arguing that we must remedy the problem within our own community first and set the standard for how artists are remembered and celebrated, given that Hip-Hop’s influence extends far beyond its own borders.

“So if we don’t get it right with Hip-Hop, I’m sorry, reggae, I’m sorry, jazz, I’m sorry, gospel, I’m sorry, rock,” he said. “We’re not going to get it together with nothing. People are always putting Hip-Hop down, these other genres, putting Hip-Hop down when we rising up.”

KRS-One rounded off his remarks by paying tribute to Fatman Scoop, who he dubbed the quintessential Hip-Hop DJ.

“Fatman Scoop, that’s the way a Hip-Hop DJ sounds,” he said. “So dudes on the radio talking about they number one for Hip-Hop, you should take a listen to the real dude who is number one for Hip-Hop.”

“It is with very heavy hearts that we share news of the passing of the legendary and iconic Fatman Scoop,” the statement reads. “Last night, the world lost a radiant soul, a beacon of light on the stage and in life.”

Boosie Badazz’s Reason For Loving Twitter Draws Disgust

Boosie Badazz is never shy about sharing opinions, but some of his fans wished he would’ve kept his feelings to himself on Wednesday (September 4). The candid rapper saluted X (formerly known as Twitter) owner Elon Musk for allowing sexual content to flourish on the social media platform.

“TWITTER WILL HAVE U JACKING OFF ALL DAY @elonmusk,” Boosie wrote. “U DOING YOUR THANG WITH THIS APP N MAKKNG A LOT OF PEOPLE N THIS WORLD HAPPY.”

Boosie’s post elicited hundreds of reactions ranging from disgust to agreement. Adult content was allowed on Twitter before Musk bought it, but his X platform fully embraced sexually explicit content by putting an official policy in place this year.

“We believe that users should be able to create, distribute, and consume material related to sexual themes as long as it is consensually produced and distributed,” X announced. “Sexual expression, whether visual or written, can be a legitimate form of artistic expression. We believe in the autonomy of adults to engage with and create content that reflects their own beliefs, desires, and experiences, including those related to sexuality.”

X asked users posting adult content to change their media settings. The adjustments placed content warnings on images and videos. X also implemented age restrictions on viewing adult content.

Boosie’s Musk praise occurred just a day after the Baton Rouge native lambasted Ralo on X. Ralo angered Boosie with an age-related comment, which provoked a response on Tuesday (September 3).

Ralo denied dissing Boosie and questioned why his foe would “rather have a war than a conversation.”
