Young Jeezy has been spoon feeding his fans new material each Sunday as a part of his #SundayService series to prepare them for his upcoming album, Church In These Streets. Instead of dropping a new freestyle this past Sunday, the Snowman has unveiled the album art for the project.
With a black and white color scheme, Jeezy stands in front of the church house doors standing astutely ready to speak the word to the streets.
Church In These Streets is set to hit the internet and stores on Nov. 13th. Expect the title track to be dropping soon as well.

A letter that Tupac penned while behind bars back in 1995 is up for sale, Page Six reports. The letter could be yours if you’re willing to pay $225,000 for it.
Pac wrote the letter to Death Row employee and Death Row Uncut magazine editor Nina Bhadreshwar while he was serving a sentence for rape at New York’s Clinton Correctional Facility. Shakur granted her access to his letter for publication instead of more well-known magazines like Rolling Stone or TIME. His letter was a five-page essay about the rites of passage of the young black male in America, but he also wrote about leaving the “Thug Life” behind and being wary of his lifestyle.
“Thug Life to me is dead,” he wrote. “If it’s real, then let somebody else represent it, because I’m tired of it.” He continued “[Many] never survive the next level of Thug Life . . . They become addicted to death. A True Boss Playa knows when to advance . . . U must play the game, not let the game play u,” he said of starting a new chapter. “A regular Playa plays women . . . a Boss Playa plays life. A Boss Playa is a thinker, a leader, a builder, a moneymaker, a souljah, a teacher and most of all, a Man! I want all my homiez to know there is another level.”
Tupac was killed Sept. 7th, 1996, less than a year after he was released from jail.
The letter/essay is being sold through Moments in Time.

50 Cent always gives his two cents about Fox’s ‘Empire.’ Apparently the second episode of Empire had significantly low viewership. The ratings took a 18 percent dip. 50 couldn’t wait to throw shade on Instagram. He reposted a (non-credible) gossip Instagram page @theindustryonblast_’s post that said ‘Empire’ had 3 million less viewers the second week. 50 has since deleted the post. According to BET, 50 blamed the dip in ratings on too many gay plots and too many celebrity cameos. How are you feeling about Empire’s second season?
No matter what city, state, or country you represent, there is no denial that Hip Hop would not exist without New York City. The Big Apple is the initial site where the culture grew from neighborhood parties to a global phenomenon. More specifically, the borough of the Bronx is most often credited as the location that spawned what became known as Hip Hop.
A rising emcee from the BX is looking to put his uptown locale back on the rap map. Tasheeme “Euro League” Goings has been putting in work over the last several years with buzzworthy tracks like “Social Network,” “Magazine Vs Magazine,” and “Gold Chains In A Dungeon.” The product of the Bronx’s Roosevelt High School has even found his name next to noted lyricists like Lupe Fiasco and Joey Bada$$ in The Source/Genius’ “Lyrics Of The Week” series.
Euro is now out to prove he is one of the best rappers in NYC with his latest music collection Euro Trip Continuum, Vol. 1. The EP is wrapped in references to spirituality, freedom, destiny, stardom, and morality. Continuum explores the question: how does an artist balance those personal ideals as more public eyes focus on him and his success?
The project also does not fall short on displaying Euro’s confidence in his abilities. One line from the opening cut “Kill All Kings” even serves as a response to Kendrick Lamar’s much-talked about 2013 “Control” verse where the West Coast rhymer threw down the gauntlet to his rap peers and claimed to be “The King Of New York.”
AlHipHop.com spoke with Euro League about the themes presented on Euro Trip Continuum as well as his open challenge to K. Dot. Find out what the man who performs under the moniker Enlighten Under Rule & Oppression has to say in this exclusive interview.
What is the concept behind Euro Trip Continuum?
I released a project in 2011 called Euro Trip. This is the second installment to that. I chose to make it a series. Euro Trip Continuum is where the first one leaves off.
The first one was more of me entering a dreamscape, letting people know these are my dreams and aspirations. At the conclusion of that project you hear a voice say, “Relax Euro. Open your eyes.” So Continuum is my reality.
This is everything I went through in my reality – waking up from those dreams, looking at reality, and approaching everything from that perspective. The concept is bringing people into a more realistic state with me.
Are you planning more sequels?
Yes, initially I planned to have 10 tracks as one release. But then I had analyze the Hip Hop audience today, and I understood that their attention span is not as large as it used to be.
The substance I have in my music is very deep, so to put 10 tracks of that much substance on a project from an up-and-coming artist – I didn’t want people to take a 10 track project and say, “I only like 3 tracks, so I’ll wait to his next project to see where he’s at.”
I wanted them to have a full experience and digest the whole project the way it needed to be. So I broke it down into two parts. I’m going to release volume 2 in the next few months or at the top of 2016.
Why did you decide to address spirituality and religion so heavily on the EP?
As I got older, I started to really see and understand the world around me. I saw that people were lacking faith. I understood that one of the things that people don’t know is themselves.
I see so many people know about materialistic things and everything else but themselves. I just wanted people to know before anything, you should know yourself. Once you know yourself, everything else comes into play.
I’m not a religious person, and I’m not against religion. But I want people to understand that everyone is entitled to a relationship with God. Just because you’re not part of a religious organization doesn’t mean that you’re exempt from having a relationship with God.
I have a personal relationship with God, and I feel like everyone is entitled to that. So when I say certain things about the Catholic church on “Violence”, I’m not against it. I’m just saying we’re all human beings and entitled to that spiritual relationship with God.
“Kill All Kings” is an interesting title. It could be interpreted in different ways. Can you talk about your thought process for that track?
The idea came from a song I did called “Gold Chains In The Dungeon.” In the song, I have a bar that goes, “My AKA is KAK. Kill all kings, topple tyrants, I’m with violence.” That’s one of the bars people always highlighted.
As time went on I started to understand a lot of artists are looking at things with that king mind state, like “I’m King This, I’m King That.” I feel like kings get their power and authority from keeping people down. They only feel good about themselves because people look up to them.
I wanted to kill that way of thinking for everyone, because as long as people aspire to be kings, they have to put people down. I don’t feel that’s going to give us the best outcome.
What I do want people to do is embrace the god and goddess in them. Gods don’t have to put people down to feel good about themselves. Gods are naturally helpers and givers. I wanted to kill that mind state of people wanting to be kings and embrace that godliness within them.
On the song, you mention Kendrick Lamar by name. He famously declared himself the King of New York and the King of the West Coast on “Control.” You talked about how you feel kings put people down. Do you feel when Kendrick made that statement it was something negative for Hip Hop?
No, I don’t think that was bad. To be honest, I feel like he’s asking for competition. He was trying to get the best out of Hip Hop. I’m such a lyricist and real emcee that I know where that energy comes from. He’s saying, “I’m going to say something that will tick people off, and if you really feel you’re that good then you’re going to have to say something back.”
Since I’m not with a major label or don’t have the same support as some of these artists he specifically called out, if I made a response people wouldn’t really pay attention to it. I am the one artist that made Kendrick say, “This n*gga’s dead nice.”
I ain’t knocking him, but I would come through and body Kendrick. I would body him on some real lyrical sh*t. The main issue was my own city. My own city wouldn’t have supported me the way I needed it to if I had come out and said that. They would have just said, “He’s not signed to a label. He doesn’t have records on the radio in regular rotation.”
Do you feel like New York radio doesn’t show enough love to homegrown talent?
I feel like they don’t, but I understand the business behind it. I can’t knock it. The people who work for the radio station don’t call the shots. They’re just carrying out the commands. I think the people are confused to think that someone who’s a radio personality or programmer has the power to play whatever they want. That’s not really what it is.
So yes, I do feel like they don’t support us, but I do understand why they can’t if they tried to. But at the same time, they can’t just say to artists that are talented and putting in work, “Since you’re not signed to a major record label, you’re not qualified to represent New York right.”
They’re looking at me like, “The only way we’re ever gonna acknowledge you is if you’re sign to a major label deal.” That was never part of my plan on how I wanted to approach the music business. I do feel like at this point I do have more support from a lot of people. Not as much as I’d like, but definitely much more.
I have people watching. I let people know, like Kendrick, if you really want this competition then I’ve always been here. He and his company know I’ve always been here. The producer of “Gold Chains In The Dungeon” is the same producer of “I’m Dying Of Thirst” off his classic album [good kid, m.A.A.d. city].
We shot videos for Ab-Soul’s “Black Lip Bastard (Black Hippy Remix).” I watched MP [Williams] edit that video. They shot that video with our camera. These are things my company, ReeLife Music Group, has done for TDE. They’ve been watching.
It’s not to disrespect Kendrick. It’s to say, “You’re not the only one who really does these bars, and you know that. So if you really wanted competition, you can’t look at the people in your league. You have to come at these people that really do these bars.”
If he really wants it, he can get it. I really do this. I will body him on a music level and on a business level. I started my own company. So when you compare Euro League to Kendrick Lamar – yeah, they’re both dope lyricists, but after that I got a whole list of sh*t. He didn’t start Top Dawg Entertainment. I started ReeLife Music Group.
I started that in the Bronx where a lot of people throw shade on my borough. We’re the birthplace of Hip Hop. We’re the reason why he can even have a career. You have to look at it for what it really is: this guy Euro League has all this other stuff. Kendrick is a dope artist. But after that, what else does he have to say?
Do you plan to shoot videos for Euro Trip Continuum?
I’m going to try to shoot videos to all of the songs. I have a couple of directors that are working on some visuals. I have a video director for “Find Me,” and I’m working on a video for “Mr. Goings Nowhere.” I may do a video for “God Rite.”
After the music videos, I’m putting together a 5-8 minute documentary about the whole project, my inspiration for making these songs, and the ups and downs I was going through while I was making this project. The documentary is about where I come from and my rap battle days in high school and college. I feel like more than a music video, you’re going to get people to understand [with the film]. It really brings them into my life.
Where do you see Mr. Goings going in five years?
Mr. Goings is going to be legendary. I’m already legendary. I just have to show the world. I have to make sure they see it. I’m going to be legendary, I’m going to put out a few classic projects, and I’m going to be responsible for ushering in the most prominent Hip Hop production company as well.
I’m going to do a lot of good in the world. I’m probably going to be one of the most enlightening emcees that is in Hip Hop – just coming from my story, my situation, and what I’ve built with what I’ve had. I took that pain and negativity and turned it into something great, in the hardest city to do that in on the planet Earth.
At the end of that day, I just want to help people. I’m going to be the best representative of Hip Hop and the power of Hip Hop music.

While performing in Norway at the UKA Festival, Action Bronson stopped the show in the middle of his set. According to reports, Bam Bam left the stage and ended his performance due to medical reasons. He never disclosed exactly what that reason was.
The chef/rapper later took to his Twitter to assure his fans that he’ll “be all good.” Fortunately for his health, Bronson doesn’t have a grueling tour schedule and only has three more shows scheduled for the rest of the year.

After the Texas Rangers made the playoffs for the 2015 MLB playoffs the Rangers went crazy in the locker room for a champagne and beer celebration. With Silento’s “Whip, Nae Nae” blaring out of the speakers the team doused eachother and spirits as they went from the “stanky leg” to other dance moves in the song. This has to be the viral song of the Summer, maybe the year.
(AllHipHop News) Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs’ Bad Boy Entertainment has entered into an exclusive partnership with Epic Records. The deal includes two upcoming Puff Daddy albums being distributed through Epic, a division of Sony Music Entertainment.
“Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs aka Puff Daddy and I have been musical collaborators since the 1990s when we both ran independent record labels, myself with LaFace and soon after, Puffy with Bad Boy,” states LA Reid, Chairman and CEO of Epic Records. “Over the years, we not only enjoyed incredible success together, but we also became lifelong friends. Today, of course, Puffy is truly in a league all his own, continuing to influence culture and ignite musical revolutions time and time again. He’s a true innovator and I could not be more excited to join forces once again.”
The new label will include several new music projects, new artist signings and upcoming releases that will be announced in the weeks ahead. Epic will also provide promotion, marketing, sales and distribution for the Puff Daddy albums. In celebration of the signing, Combs will perform new music at the BET Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta.
“I have known LA Reid since the very beginning and together we have enjoyed countless successes over our long friendship,” says Puffs. “To now work with LA in this capacity feels more like a homecoming than a new beginning. Not only is he a fearless and smart businessman, he believes in artists and understands music better than anyone. He embodies hard work and true success, evident in all of his endeavors. To collaborate with LA Reid is to collaborate with the very best.”
Bad Boy helped launch the careers of Puff Daddy, The Notorious B.I.G., Craig Mack, Ma$e, Faith Evans, 112, Mario Winans, Black Rob, The Lox, Danity Kane, Carl Thomas, Yung Joc, and Total. The label’s roster currently includes Janelle Monáe, Cassie, French Montana, and Machine Gun Kelly.
The Bad Boy catalog and Monáe will stay with Warner Music Group as per the prior venture agreement between WMG and Bad Boy. French Montana, Cassie, and MGK will remain at Interscope under the Bad Boy Imprint.
“It’s a pleasure being in business with three major music labels as we approach our third decade of making music for our peers and fans,” adds Harve Pierre, President of Bad Boy Entertainment.
(AllHipHop News) Last night (October 4), the Keith Murray and Fredro Starr battle finally went down. Murda Mook, Loaded Lux, DJ Enuff, and some of the biggest names in battle rap showed up at Milk River. As the Def Squad representative and the Onyx member went head-to-head, Starr also threw some shots at 50 Cent and Power 105’s The Breakfast Club.
Before the battle, 50 expressed he was riding with Murray. The G-Unit leader even said “F*ck Fredro Starr” on camera. Starr sent a jab back at Fif when he told Murray, “Stop smoking dust, turn a new leaf. This n*gga’s fake as 50 Cent’s new teeth.”
Fredro later rapped, “I got love for 50 Cent. Thanks for the promo. I see this Starr’s always on his mind – Tony Romo.”
Last year, Starr got into a heated conversation with Charlamagne Tha God during an interview with The Breakfast Club. The argument was sparked when CTG asked Fredro to discuss comments he made about Brandy. MC WAR’s “Generation X” event featured Fredro taking aim at the radio program.
“The Breakfast Club wanna know about Brandy and me. The question is: Who’s smashing Angela Yee?” spit Starr. “Talking about Fredro’s a liar. The only n*gga lying is 50 when he said he smashed Maya.”
There’s a lot to be said about a rapper’s work ethic. If you’re making a living off of rapping, then it would seem you’d want to do as much rapping as you can. But is it possible to record too much material?
According to a YSL affiliate, Young Thug recorded 40 songs in a 27 minute period. Someone actually being able to create over three dozen different tracks in under 30 minutes seems like a reach. But who knows?
What do you think? Are you buying Thugger was able to record 40 songs in 27 minutes?
(AllHipHop News) The legal saga between Lil Wayne and Birdman’s Cash Money Records takes another turn. Wayne has reportedly filed new legal documents suggesting his longtime label also owes Young Money artists Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Tyga money.
TMZ reports:
Lil Wayne now claims in his bitter lawsuit against Birdman and Cash Money, he has letters from Drake and Tyga’s people claiming they got stiffed out of a fortune. And Nicki’s people say in a separate letter her producers also got shortchanged by Young Money, and Wayne says it’s Cash Money’s responsibility to pay producers.
Earlier this year, Wayne sued Cash Money for unpaid royalties and album advances. Wayne’s Young Money imprint was named as a plaintiff in the case as well. YM wants CMR to pay for the cost of legal actions from artists asserting they are owed money by the company.
According to the original documents, a “2009 Drake Letter Amendment” was agreed upon to give YM one-third of the net profits from the sale of Drake’s solo recordings. The suit also revealed Wayne and Cash Money agreed to a 51%-49% split over Wayne’s Young Money imprint.
Wayne has publicly demanded to be let out of his contract with Cash Money. Young Money’s Tyga has also been vocal about not receiving payments from Birdman’s company. In addition, other individuals in the industry such as Turk, Bangladesh, Jas Prince, and Wendy Day have filed lawsuits against CMR for unpaid services.
According to TMZ, Cash Money argues Wayne and Young Money are the ones in breach of contract. The label claims YM was supposed to produce 21 albums over 7 years and only 13 projects were released.
If Wayne and Young Money are able to split from CMR, Birdman has made it clear he will not let platinum-selling acts Drake and Nicki Minaj go with Weezy so easily. The two stars reportedly have distribution deals with Cash Money, and in 2013 Birdman told DJ Whoo Kid, “Drake down with the team for life. He made that commitment when we did another situation.”
(AllHipHop News) Amber Rose hosted her “S### Walk” in Los Angeles this weekend, and she used that event as an opportunity to address her critics. While speaking with supporters, Rose discussed her past relationships with Hip Hop stars Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa.
Amber’s speech included her reflecting on Kanye saying he had to take thirty showers after being with her. She also called Wiz the most amazing guy she ever met and admitted they still love each other. The former exotic dancer began to cry as she tried to talk about her ex’s lyrics in the song “For Everybody.”
“[Wiz] went on to make a song saying he, ‘fell in love with a stripper, but fell out of love quicker.’ As you can imagine, him being the love of my life – regardless if we’re going through a separation or not – that was extremely hurtful,” said Amber before breaking down.
The crowd started clapping and shouting words of encouragement at Amber. She then continued speaking about being hurt by Wiz’s words.
“So he came out with that song, and that really hurt me, because all I did was love him,” stated Amber. “I just loved him so much and gave him a beautiful son. To be told I was nothing but a stripper… it hurt.”
Watch Amber Rose’s speech below.
(AllHipHop News) It appears all the hype over Drake and Future’s collaborative project What A Time To Be Alive is waning. Drizzy Hendrix had the internet going crazy as speculation grew something big was coming from the two stars, and when WATTBA finally hit iTunes fans gave the project one of the biggest sales weeks of the year (334,000 pure albums).
However, week 2 was not as big for Drake and Future. The project pushed just 65,000 copies in its sophomore week. That accounts for an 81% drop in sales, one of the worst declines for a #1 album from a debut week to a second week in Hip Hop history.
Other top-selling rap albums to see a significant fall in sales its next week are Mac Miller’s Blue Slide Park (83% – 144,000 to 25,000), Kanye West’s Yeezus (80% – 327,000 to 65,000), Jay Z’s Kingdom Come (79% – 680,000 to 140,000), and Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (78% – 496,000 to 108,000).
Drake and Future were able to remain in the Top 5 in their second week. Thanks in part to streaming totals, What A Time landed at #2. Fetty Wap’s self-titled album is currently at #1.
(AllHipHop News) Janet Jackson is proving her fans still have a lot of love for the music icon. According to HitsDailyDouble, Jackson’s latest album Unbreakable is set to land in the top spot on the album chart.
At the moment the independent LP is predicted to move 90,000-105,000 albums and 93,000-108,000 SPS units. This week’s only other big debut, Tamar Braxton’s Calling All Lovers, is expected to fall in the 38,000-43,000 sales and 42,000-47,000 SPS range.
Unbreakable is Jackson’s first studio album since 2008’s Discipline. It is also her first release since parting ways with Island Records. The set features appearances by J. Cole and Missy Elliott. If Unbreakable holds at #1, it will be the singer’s 7th album to become the top-selling LP in the country.
Although Lil Wayne has been spending a lot of his time trying to get Tha Carter V out, the New Orleans rapper still supplies us with at least a single. The song, titled Pour-it-Up, is slowed and throwed, with Lil Wayne giving you bars all throughout the song. Of course, the Young Money mogul includes his love of codeine. Wayne released his album FWA earlier this year exclusively on Tidal.
