For the Black Music Month issue, EBONY has chose Kendrick Lamar to grace the cover. During the cover shoot, the TDE spitter said it was an honor to represent a publication with such longevity, 70 years to be exact.

“I feel privileged to be part of it,” K. Dot said about being the issue’s cover star. “I’m one of a few rap artists to actually grace the cover. They have done a whole spectrum of controversial covers with us as a culture and identifying ourselves and the world in general.”

The Mother Of Chris Brown’s Child Wants $15K A Month In Child Support

The mother of Chris Brown’s daughter, Nia Guzman, wasn’t happy with the $2,500 she was receiving in child support and wants six times that amount, TMZ reports. Brown reportedly stopped sending money in March when Nia requested that she receive $15,000 in child support.

Sources said that Breezy feels that paying that amount is “ridiculous” while Guzman feels that he’s being cheap. Guzman’s lawyer, Carl Moore, will be filing court documents within the next few weeks.

After finding out that he was a father, the “Autumn Leaves” singer kept quiet but then broke his silence with awww-worthy Instagram posts of him and his baby girl. He even took Royalty to the 2015 Billboard Music Awards last week (May 17).  Despite the cute pictures, Guzman reportedly feels that their daughter is suffering because her father refuses to up the child support limit.

EXCLUSIVE: Music & Literature Come Together For The Interactive Digital Novel “H8 Society” BitTorrent Bundle

For millennia, music and literature have existed in separate planes. They were creative cousins that were not able to directly interact with each other through an artist’s intended vision. The Information Age has changed that dynamic. Now different mediums can live in the same space instantaneously, and creators can collaborate in gifted new ways.

The latest evolution in the consolidation between music and literature comes in the form of a free BitTorrent Bundle. Two first time authors pulled their collective brain power together to offer an innovative reading experience via a new e-book and interactive soundtrack.

Authors the 2Dans introduce readers to a compelling chronicle of rival gangs and global secret societies in the digital novel H8 Society – How an Atomic Fart Saved the World. The 374-page book is a merger of the 2Dans’ story with art by Bill Sienkiewicz (The New Mutants, Batman, Elektra: Assassin) and 26 songs from various international indie artists.

Pennsylvania’s Whitney Peyton, New Jersey’s Strānj Frūt, and North Carolina’s A.D. Weigh were among the performers tapped to contribute tracks to the project. Since its release, the H8 Society BitTorrent Bundle has been downloaded over 700,000 times.

To get better insight into this New Age form of the artistic partnership displayed in H8 Society, AllHipHop.com connected with the 2Dans along with musicians Peyton, Frūt, and Weigh. BitTorrent executive Straith Schreder also shares thoughts about how this unique interpretation of art will change the way readers interact with the written word.

2Dans (H8 Society creators):

We wanted to create a new kind of book that merges literature, music and graphics, and where music plays a central role in the story. Hip Hop is the music that most of our characters listen to – and defines who they are – so it seemed natural to find a way to enhance the reading experience by embedding Hip Hop, as well as a variety of other music genres, into our book. But first we had to find the right music.

So we turned to the ReverbNation community of indie artists and received over 4,000 submissions from over 40 countries. Needless to say, we developed rather large “ear muscles” by listening to each and every song submitted, and we curated them down to a final 26 from nine different countries.

The songs we chose are now an essential part of the story experience because they help dimensionalize the very moment when the reader is trying to imagine what the characters might be listening to during the events in their lives that are, as for most of us, usually completely out of their control.

The theme, attitude and tone of Strānj Frūt’s, A.D. Weighs’, and Whitney Peyton’s tracks are all very different, but each provides the reader with a musical connection to what our characters are thinking, and feeling, at that very moment in the story.

Whitney Peyton (Musician):

When I was asked to be part of this project, I was really flattered. It didn’t even dawn on me that books could have soundtracks… but why not?! With many things being digital, it’s so dope to think to add music to an e-book. Being into graphic novels, I was attracted to the humor and illustrations used in this work. It’s very reminiscent of a comic book, so it’s right up my alley. All of the downloads speak for itself!

Strānj Frūt (Musician):

I was honored to be a part of such a game changing project. When you have a captivating storyline, awesome imagery and a soundtrack that sets the tone for what you are digesting in print, it’s an intoxicating experience. My contribution to the project [“Hands Up!’] is a pure expression of my lifelong frustration over racially motivated prejudices and socioeconomic bias here in America. It’s an extremely powerful piece and the 2Dans are genius for using it to set the opening tone.

A.D. Weighs (Musician):

Because my song [“Crows Feet & Reading Glasses”] is such an eclectic and unorthodox record, I was immediately intrigued when I was asked by the 2Dans to use it in their e-book. They called me and expressed how much they both loved the song and provided me with a synopsis of H8 Society.

I knew right away that they were true artists with a unique vision. “An e-novel with music,” I said to myself. “I get it.” Before I could get my hands on the book, I saw the artwork and just knew it was going to be a perfect fit. Much like myself, they seem to be the type of artists that simply will not adhere to the rules. I find it totally refreshing when I meet individuals who are just as creative and twisted as I am. Being given an opportunity to make a contribution to such an amazing project is nothing short of a true blessing.

Straith Schreder (Director of Content Strategy, BitTorrent):

H8 Society is a story that’s unlike any other: an interactive novel that plays out across music, text, and art. It challenges the way we experience song and story, creating new forms. This type of narrative innovation is exactly what BitTorrent Bundle was designed to help support.

Pornography Meets Hip-Hop — Karmen Karma – The Interview

Who is Karmen Karma and where does she come from ? How did you originally get into the p### business ?

I’m a natural born s### from a super small town in Upper Michigan. From the second I laid my eyes on a dirty magazine, I knew I wanted to be a p### star, when I grew up. I’ve always been super sexual, so I started web-camming in high school, and then moved to Florida to be a stripper when I turned 19. I knew I wanted to do p###, but was hesitant because of my family being so conservative. Finally when I turned 21, I said “f### it” and flew to Los Angeles to do p### and never left.

IMG_3588
It seems like p### and Hip-Hop have had quite an interesting union, we’ve seen Sara Jay, Lisa Ann, Alexis Texas, Roxy Reynolds, Skin Diamond and many others in rap videos or on urban media outlets. What’s your opinion on Hip-Hop’s fascination with p### ?

I absolutely LOVE it. I’m a crazed Hip-Hop fan, and I want to shake my booty in every artist’s music video. I recently was in Waka Flocka’s music video “Bust”, and since then I’ve been dying to do more! So if you’re an artist reading this and want a white p### star with a fat ass in your video, hit me up!

Who are some of your favourite artists to listen to or songs in rap right now ? By the way you get brownie points for chilling with DJ Whoo Kid and Waka Flocka ! They’re DOPE !!

They really are dope, Waka and Whoo Kid both took selfies with me and were chill as f###. Right now, my favorite artists to listen to in the rap game are Big Sean, Tyga, Kevin Gates, Waka Flocka, Gucci Mane, Drake, Rae Sremmurd, Rich Homie Quan, Young Thug, Kid Ink, Nicki Minaj, and Future… I could go on and on and on!

52711_014(1)
What is your take on the business of p### ? How do you feel about the flow of “free p###” on the internet ? Do you think it hurts the business or is better for it ?

It definitely hurts the business. But lets be real, everyone loves free s###, especially p###, so I don’t see it changing anytime in the future. I think the industry needs to figure out how to work with the changes of the industry, because it’s definitely not like it used to be. I absolutely love doing p###, but I also enjoy feature dancing, being in music videos, etc., so it’s good to have other avenues of work.

In Hip-Hop and entertainment, more and more artists are going independent because of how the game has changed. Similar can also be seen in p### today. How much has p### really changed for you since you started ? Do you feel it’s more independent now ?

I’ve been in the p### game 2 1/2 years, and I haven’t seen too much of a change. I’m more in demand now that I have established myself as a p### star, so work is way better for me now. Of course, it is different for the talent than it is for the directors. If you can get yourself to the point of a popular p### star, obviously you will establish fans who will buy your DVDs no matter what to support you!

Now you have more of like that suicide girls/alternative p### look with the tattoos and you also do interracial. Were you nervous or feel like you were taking a risk doing an interracial scene ?

Hell no! I love the chocolate. My boyfriend is black and I absolutely live for BBC. I don’t consider myself alternative, although I know I have that look. I’m a little gangster girl, not a screamo/emo chick. People just assume I’m that way because of the stereotype of tattooed women. I’ve never cared for what people thought of my decisions–you can never make everyone happy, so I was more than ready to do interracial scenes!

Also, do you find it harder to date in your personal life ?

Definitely! Before I met my current man, I gave up on dating all together, and told myself I wouldn’t date until I was out of the p### industry. However, I ended up meeting a one in a million guy who supports my ho activities and loves me for me. It’s great to be able to pursue my career and have a relationship. It’s very rare for that to happen in p###.

Do you prefer shooting scenes on set or being on webcam more ?

Shooting scenes on set, hands down. I rarely webcam anymore, maybe once or twice a year for fans. I love f###### and creating p### for people all over the world to j####### to!

Do you get approached by fans in public? Do you mind it or would you prefer not to be disturbed?

At airports or when I used to go to bars and clubs is when I get approached the most. I don’t mind at all, it’s always very sweet!
What are 3 things about you, people would be surprised to know?

I’m now clean and sober
I love to rescue, foster, and adopt rabbits in need

I can leg press 470 pounds

Your top 5 favourite albums or albums you’re currently listening to?

“If you’re reading this It’s Too Late” Drake

“Sremm Life” Rae Sremmurd

“Full Speed” Kid Ink

“The Gold Album 18th Dynasty” Tyga

“Dark Sky Paradise” Big Sean
Given the opportunities that entertainment often creates, are there other avenues of the entertainment industry you’d like to dabble in ? Would you want to crossover like say a Sasha Grey and do Hollywood movies, reality TV or anything along those lines?

I would love to crossover and do movies, TV, music, or anything life throws at me! Nothing is off limits given an opportunity!

Also do you have any upcoming scenes or music videos we should be on the look out for?

No new music videos at this time, but hopefully that will change soon!

It’s been a pleasure Karmen, is there anything else you want to share with fans or any last words, or shout outs you want to give out? Where can people see more of you or follow you?

I always have new scenes coming out! “The Destruction of Danica Dillion” and on Johnnyandkissa.com there is a big orgy are both out… and keep your eyes peeled for more!
