Hip-Hop Rumors: Update On Wiz And Amber Divorce Fiasco

The rumors have been in overdrive since word dropped that one of hip-hop’s favorite couples were calling it quits.

Rumor is Amber Rose showed up at Wiz’s house at 2 AM and was shocked to find him in bed with another woman and went ballistic.

But Wiz says Rose can’t possibly trip because he had already made it clear that he no longer wanted to be married to her anymore and moved out weeks before, therefore he says he wasn’t cheating.

The rapper also doesn’t believe that Rose wasn’t letting Nick Cannon chop her cakes down, and is reportedly going to drop a song about Rose, but is waiting for the divorce to be finalized.

Boy we can’t wait for that ink to dry on those papers.

EXCLUSIVE: MC Wars Say Keith Murray/Fredro Starr & Bonecrusher/Mike Jones Battles Still In The Works

(AllHipHop News) The MC Wars NWO 2 event scheduled for last night did not end as expected. The battle rap card was supposed to feature the high-profile match ups of Keith Murray vs Fredro Starr and Bonecrusher vs Mike Jones. Neither bout happened as issues of payments halted the performances.

AllHipHop.com spoke with MC Wars COO Amir James, and he revealed the organization is currently in discussion with all four rappers about rescheduling their match ups. James claims all four received their deposits to appear for the event, but they were waiting on the rest of the balances that were negotiated.

According to James, the situation was complicated when payments from two of the sponsors for NWO 2 had not arrived at the time. The money issues are being settled, and he hopes to be able to film the battles in the next few weeks.

“We’re going to make good on this,” says James. “We’re going to move forward.”

He adds fans that bought tickets for MC Wars’ NWO 2 will be able to receive a refund or a complimentary ticket to an upcoming event. More information about the rescheduled battles, refunds, and comped tickets will be posted on the company’s website mcwar.com.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Karruche and Breezy's Mom Fear For His Life

This is almost laughable.

Chris Brown’s family fear that his ties with the Bloods could possibly ruin his life and that if he doesn’t cut them soon, the consequences could be terrible.

TMZ reports:

“Chris Brown’s girlfriend and family are secretly and desperately trying to get Chris away from gangs … and they’ve even contacted his therapist to put the heat on the singer … TMZ has learned.

Multiple sources tell us … Chris’ mom and Karrueche are so worried … they approached the therapist because they’re deeply concerned Chris is not only compromising his safety by promoting gangs, he’s also ruining his career.

TMZ broke the story … the LAPD has already gone to L.A. clubs, trying to convince owners to ban Chris and his entourage because wherever they go … violence follows.

Chris’ family thinks he does not understand the implications of associating himself with the Bloods. He thinks it’s “cool,” but the family is worried he’s in real danger and he doesn’t have a clue.

We’re told they literally think Chris’ life is on the line.”

Hip-Hop Rumors: Lil Kim Goes IN On K. Michelle

Lil Kim stopped by The Breakfast Club this morning and spoke on a number of things, including her ongoing beef with Nicki Minaj and her newfound beef with R&B singer K. Michelle.

If you missed it, during the MTV Awards, K. Michelle said that she felt Nicki Minaj is the queen of rap right about now, which Kim and her fans took as shade being thrown at her throne.

Never shy and or quick to stray away from an issue, peep the video below to watch Queen Bee address her issues.

Nicki Minaj's Mother Gives Details About Daughter Witnessing Domestic Violence In The Home

(AllHipHop News) In the wake of the Ray Rice elevator tape being exposed, domestic violence has become a national conversation. It has also become a major topic overseas, and one of America’s most successful performers’ history of witnessing abuse was recently covered in a British publication.

Nicki Minaj (born Onika Maraj) has always been open about the fact she saw her mother being abused as a child. Nicki’s mom Carol Manaj has now publicly addressed what took place in their household as well. During an interview with The Sun, Ms. Manaj spoke about how her husband Robert had the entire family living in fear.

“My husband used to get high on cocaine and alcohol and would come home and terrorize the whole family,” said Manaj. “One night I woke up and smelt smoke. I went downstairs and the kitchen was on fire. I had to run out of the house and it burned to the ground.”

Apparently, Nicki and her brothers would have to listen to their mother being beaten from their rooms.

“Some nights, while my children were sleeping, my husband would come in intoxicated. He would be very menacing and threaten me, calling me a whole lot of names,” Manaj added. “My children would sit up in their beds crying and wait it out. He would bring so much fear to them, they wouldn’t know his next move.”

Manaj eventually threw Robert out of the house, and they have not reconciled since. Nicki of course went on to become one of the biggest music stars in the world. Her next full length project The Pinkprint is due out on November 24.

Ja Rule Says Guys Wearing Shirt-Skirts Is Part Of Hip Hop Now (POLL)

(AllHipHop News) The issue of the “feminization” of males in Hip Hop has become a hot button topic in the culture for several years. Some artists like Brand Nubian’s Lord Jamar has a problem with men wearing certain clothing like skirts, while other artists like Young Thug have come to embrace the concept.

[ALSO READ: Lord Jamar Says Trick Daddy’s “Eat A Booty Gang” Promotes Sodomy As Being Natural (VIDEO)]

Rap veteran Ja Rule was asked about the subject during an interview with VladTV. The native New Yorker expressed his belief that the fashion of today’s youth represents their generation, and the older generation should just accept their sense of style.

Rule was asked about his reaction to his own son wanting to buy a skirt-shirt. After first having a problem with it, he thought how his mother’s reacted to the clothes he wore as a kid and that changed his mind.

“I had to catch myself and say, ‘You know what? If you wanna shirt skirt, go head get you a shirt skirt. Cause this is your generation’,” said Ja. “Trust me. I’ve looked back at some of my old pictures and been like, ‘What the f**k was I wearing?’ He may do the same thing when he gets older, but it’s part of being young and growing up.”

When questioned about the some of the outfits of today that could be considered feminine, Ja answers by saying he believes this generation is not looking at it as “feminine” just as “fashion.”

“I don’t think he’s saying I want a skirt cause I wanna be a female. I think dudes are doing it because it’s fashionable. Being fashionable has now taken a new turn from when we were being fashionable,” stated Ja.

He also added, “Absolutely, [shirt-skirts are] Hip Hop now. Hip Hop dudes are wearing them. They made it a part of our culture. I don’t think shirt-skirts existed until a Hip Hop artist wore them.”

Ganxta NIP: The Psycho Becomes A God Of Horrorcore

By Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur (@chuckcreekmur)

The South Park PsychoAs the creator of Horrorcore, Ganxsta NIP could be the weirdest, confounding rapper in Hip-Hop history. With 1991’s Southpark Psycho, the Houston-reared MC invented the violent, disgusting subgenre of rap which reached its zenith in the mid-90’s. Horrorcore spawned popular acts like Insane Clown Posse, Esham, The Gravediggaz, Brotha Lynch Hung and others with varying degrees of success. Then, there were others like Eminem and the Geto Boys (He wrote “Chuckie” for Bushwick of the Geto Boys) that took a page or two from NIP’s playbook and saw meteoric heights.

NIP has flown in that sweet spot where the radar of the Hip-Hop elite know him well, but a space that often eludes the masses. He’s got some of the most outrageous lines in the history of rap, ranging from the comical to the enraged to the insane. A card-carrying member of the Nation of Islam, NIP writes a new horror saga every time he puts out an album and the recently released “The God of Horror” is no different. We caught up with the Rap-A-Lot alumi and he reveals all sorts of goodies like his relationship with J. Prince, his views on other Horrorcore artists and why Eminem should sign him to Team Shady.

AllHipHop.com: So talk to me about your new album a bit?

Ganxsta Nip: That name of the album is “The God of Horrorcore Rap.” When I first started on Rap-A-Lot and, when I was able through God, to write “Chuckie” for Bushwick Bill, which was the first real Horrorcore song to go nationwide, that was a blessing for me. That was definitely a blessing. Shout out to Rap-A-Lot. Shout out to J. Prince. Shout out to the Geto Boys. Then my album came shortly after that. My album was the first to go nationwide under the name of Horrorcore. I called it “Psycho Rap,” but the industry called it Horrorcore so I just rolled with it. I’ve been doing Horrorcore since, ’83-’84.

Oh yeah, that’s way back.

I been doing that. I never had another style. I came in with that. It was just meant for me to put it out. A lot of cats don’t wanna give me the credit for setting up the national notoriety of Horrorcore, but you can’t deny it. But that was then. This is now. And to still have the longevity that I have with “The God of Horrorcore”…I was the king back then. I’m in the Nation [of Islam] now. I’ve elevated in the name of Allah to the God status. I’m the god of this. You still don’t have no one that can do it like I do it. They don’t have the graphics…they visual…the imagery that Allah blessed me with. That’s why I am able to step out and step in as I please.

What are your thoughts on those that came after you in Horrorcore? Even the Geto Boys came after you with Horrorcore.

The Rap-A-Lot Family – we family for life. The others – like I said – you need others to blow up a genre. Shout out to Brotha Lynch Hung. Shout out to Esham. Shout out to Tech9ne. Shout out to ICP [Insane Clown Posse]. I just want to come together so we can blow up the genre the right way. This genre is big…and its over seas. All we got to do is do a tour, do an album and bring it to the forefront.

I noticed on you second album in the 90’s, there is a brother from the Nation of Islam on the intro of your second album. How does your faith work with the music you do?

ganksta nip psychic thoughtsI like knowledge so when I was introduced to Farrakhan, it was a wrap. But, I heard the brothers like Robert Muhammad and Brother Cornell X, Minister Lawrence. I just connected with them. It is what it is. Knowledge is power. Where there is no knowledge, there is no power. They don’t trip, because I am the Black Stephen [King]. Its just my job.

Back in the day, the lyrics you wrote were crazy! What was going on in your head at that time?

Well I went to this high school – Jesse H Jones High School in Houston. You know, there were a lot of rappers. And everybody was, you know, doing the same thing. I just really wanted to be different. I didn’t know that different was already a part of me. When I would write my rhymes, they would always sway to the left I kept developing it…Scarface introduced me to Lil J (J. Prince) on a Friday after I won 4 rap contests and I was signed Saturday morning. Saturday morning, I had like 30 grand in my pocket and I left in a BMW. And you know the dollar [value] was different from then until now.

Ganxta NIP Crazy Lyric #1: “I been poor all my life so I reach for the sky/ I regret I was born, I can’t wait ’til I die.” (“Action Speaks Louder Than Words.”)

Ganxta NIP Crazy Lyric #2: “A n***a snitched / He f**ked my connection / they found parts of his daddy’s head in every direction.” (“Get Out The Game”)

Ganxta NIP Crazy Lyric #3: “You mother f***ers said you think that I’m soft / That’s why you’ bleedin’ with a thousand dead rats in yo’ f##### mouth.” (“Psycho”)

Ganxta NIP Crazy Lyric #4: “A cop slapped my momma so I had to get mean/ they found his leg in his car, they found his head behind Walgreen’s.” (“Slaughter”)

Ganxta NIP Crazy Lyric #5: “F### with a psycho, you end up dead /Those who didn’t live, drowned in a turtle’s head.” (“Horror Movie Rap”)

Do you have a favorite, most outrageous line?

It would have to be, “Sittin’ in church, drinkin’ a 40 (oz) of Holy water.” (From the Rap-A-Lot song “Bring It On)

I love that song – you and Scarface were my favorites. What are your thoughts on current Hip-Hop?

I think it needs a little more substance, but my stronger view is anytime young Black men can use their talent to take care of their family is a major blessing. These young cats, they rapping, but they could be doing a lot of other things. If they are able to take care of their families, I’m with it.

Have you ever felt your music has a detrimental affect on young people?

Yes, but if you put it in the proper perspective, its just a horror movie. Again, that starts from home. If you listen to the first song on my album South Park Psycho, the first song is “Horror Movie Rap.” Its just a horror movie. Its not different than when you go to the Redbox and rent…”Devil’s Due” and all those movies. I just do it in rap form…i just have the visualization that they do.

Have you ever thought of doing an actual horror movie?

My manager is setting up a few things for me right now? Soundtracks. Roles. I have my own label, Psych Ward Entertainment. I’m always looking to be signed and take Horrorcore to new heights. I would like to be signed to Eminem.

Why do you like Eminem?

I like Eminem because Em is a great lyricist. When he came out, he was doing a splash of Horrorcore. And when he came out, it helped elevate the style. When he came into his own, he became a great lyricist. I like how he signed 50. I like how he takes care of his business. I think that would make a great fit.

ganxta nip-god of horrorcoreI’m sure he’s heard of you.

You cannot rap Horrorcore and not have heard of me. That’s asinine – I am the god. I am the creator.

On your song “Action Speaks Louder Than Words,” J. Prince refers to a “World Class Wrecking Crew homosexual disrespecting some real soldiers…(seemed to be a diss to Dr. Dre or N.W.A.)” What was going on with that situation.

Honestly, man, at that particular time, something happened. I really don’t like to speak on the thoughts that J. Prince may have. You would have to ask him. I was on Rap-A-Lot. I was young. I was raw and I was serious so I was just riding with my team. You would have to ask J that question. I don’t really get into, you know, stuff like that. I will say this, I was just riding with my team.

I asked Scarface the same question and I got the same exact answer.

I love J. Prince, whenever I needed…like in between royalties checks, if I needed something, he would always give me the money. Every time. So, me and J, we have a great history. I still got my Rap-A-Lot tattoo on my arm. So its Rap-A-Lot for live. If it wasn’t for J, I wouldn’t be able to create Horrorcore. You just learn over the years that you don’t speak on whatever J had going on or had going on. That’s really none of my business or anybody’s business. You feel me?

I definitely feel you.

I tell you right now. If he calls me, I’m coming. (Laughs maniacally.)

We’ll offer more from Ganxta NIP soon. Halloween is coming. 😉

(AllHipHop News) Last night MC Wars was supposed to host a rap battle between Keith Murray and Fredro Starr, but the match-up never took place. After the crowd at Atlanta’s The Atrium venue waited hours for the show to start, the main event of “NWO 2” was cancelled over allegations the two performers were not paid for their appearances.

5 Underrated Artists On Soundcloud

Are you a bit lost on Soundcloud? Has Kendrick’s new song “I” over-flood your stream from several friends who either love or hate (which would be a bit redundant) it? Well, AllHipHop has got you with a few songs to like (or download) right now. While the big artists gather millions or more listens from the same massive group of Soundcloud members playing their single repetitively, these 5 artists remain slept on with some of the best music to offer now.

D.R.A.M. – Cha Cha

D.R.A.M. is a rapper/singer that’s been getting a lot of attention from his latest project #EpicSummer. The Hampton, Virginia resident provides a completely diverse array of rap-tunes within one mixtape. You might hear a slow-pitched song with D.R.A.M. singing, then you might here a southern influenced beat with the him on the chorus. The overall experience will keep you wanting to listen to #EpicSummer in its entirety. D.R.A.M.’s talent can be summed up through the single “Cha Cha”. Equipped with thumping 808s and a Super Mario Bros. sample, “Cha Cha” is a song fit for anyone, and its catchy chorus will be in your head and never leave. Trust us….it won’t.

Al Rogers Jr – Sadewithlove

Baltimore’s been brewing with a plethora of talented artists, but the local rapper Al Rogers Jr. seems to be one of the few getting a lot of attention. It all started with his Almost EP that dropped in the spring last year. Roger’s debut project received a ton of critical acclaim, including a spot on the Baltimore Sun and interest from VICE. Even with all of the love for Al Rogers’ past project, the dude’s been dropping serious songs during his hiatus. As his creative process gets deeper release after release, it makes you more anticipated on what he’ll drop next. Al Rogers Jr’s latest release “Sadewithlove” provides a Sade sample and an uptempo beat that gives off a cheery sound. And you thought all Baltimore had was house music….wrong!

ForteBowie – Blasphemy 3

This ATLien has a lot of talent, but still doesn’t get as much attention that he should. However, a set at Trillectro and consistent singles and collabs does make ForteBowie an artist to loom out for in the near future. ForteBowie combines both southern production with R&B singing. The combination might be weird, but both factors come together successfully when played. His project ViceHaus was one of the most low-key releases last year, but the time passed hasn’t made his project age by far. Even a year later, Sephoras Song II is still dope. “Blasphemy 3” is obviously a 3-peat to the Blasphemy series, but this time around, Forte provides a futuristic aspect to his beat.

Rome Fortune – FriendsMaybe (feat. ILOVEMAKONNEN)

This is another ATLien that has been making a lot of dope music (and unexplainably weird cover art). Rome Fortune is one of those artists that can be musically versatile. He’s been doing a ton of different songs with a ton of different artists ALONG with releasing 2 projects this year alone. He’s also been collabing with ATL’s most talented rappers like Gucci Mane, Young Thug, Peewee Longway, the list goes on. Before Fortune started his Small World tour, he released a new track featuring the maker of the odd hit “Tuesday”, ILOVEMAKONNEN. It’s off tone chorus and wierd upbeat production makes the song weird at first, but it’ll get to you after the third playback. Rome Fortune is definitely one of the most prospective artists making a new sound in ATL now, let’s just see what are his moves gonna be.

GrandeMarshall – Pull Up’s Theme

It’s been a while since GrandeMashall released any music, but this track might be the first of many to come. The Philadelphia rapper released the new track “Pull Up’s Theme” a few days ago, and this definitely the track to make your seats rattle. The track provides a bass-rattling beat, while Grande spits rhymes. The beat soon switches up to into a melodic sound and Grande continues to destroy it. Hopefully we can find more new material from Mr.Pull-Up in the future.

The Curious Case Against Mayweather, Rice, Peterson and … Hope Solo

By Kylie Krabbe

There are a lot of boxing journalists whom I respect that have been asking female journalists such as myself to hold forth on the whole Floyd Mayweather, Jr./Ray Rice/Adrian Peterson domestic abuse issue.  Very interesting that only now it’s critical to turn up our proverbial “girl” mic when the subject is as delightful as discussing that no matter how smart you are, or what accolades you possess, a whole gender that you cover on a daily basis can crush you or someone similar to you like a bug with relative impunity.  I feel a little bit like how I felt in grade school whenever the teacher would start discussing slavery.  Like, oh crap – as one of the few or the only live persons of African descent in the room, I’d better look busy and more invested than most because ready or not, I would be called on to represent. Don’t ruin it by b####### to yourself about the fact that it’s the very thing that you’d rather not represent.  So what if you think that you are mad interesting on many other topics – beggars can’t be choosy when it comes to the spotlight.  After all, you could be up on homecoming stage having a bucket of cow blood tipped over your head like in that movie, CARRIE.  So don’t mess this up.

Okay – I’ll genuinely try not mess it up.  But I’ll admit I’m a bit ambivalent about the whole homework assignment courtesy of Big Brother.  Why?  Take it back again to my adversary slavery.  Back in grade school, I knew in my heart that truly you didn’t have to have a genetic horse in the race to know that slavery was wrong – no pun intended.  If you don’t understand this concept you are probably one of those people who doesn’t believe in the Holocaust or the Armenian Genocide – and in that case, this article probably isn’t for you.  The way slavery was explained back then, neglecting to mention that it still exists on an international all inclusive level indiscriminate of race, gender and religion, was a sadly missed opportunity for all of us to feel like crap.  Let’s face it – sometimes, it’s important to feel like crap, because calling inequity what it is in all of it’s current and past incarnations brings the true nature of the lesson home to all as something to guard and fight against versus a historical relic to remember just long enough to pass next week’s pop quiz.

I guess with the current attention domestic violence seems to have in sports today along with Floyd Mayweather’s unerring ability to put his foot in his mouth, I feel some nasty déjà vu in being asked to comment specifically as a “lady journalist”. I don’t think that you have to be a woman to know some pretty basic things that everyone seems to already be saying but that apparently many would prefer to hear in soprano versus bass.  Maybe it’s even a bit ridiculous verging on sinister that someone would want my opinion on this first and foremost because I am a woman.  Does it follow then that by giving in and responding to it, I am feeding the beast that causes the whole domestic violence, second-class citizen stereotype?  Hell no.  This is boxing.  Bring the battle, we answer with the fight ‘cause that’s what we do – old school.

So in keeping with that sentiment, let’s get out of the way saying all the things that some people would like to get credit for asking their women friends to say/write/answer:

No matter how talented Floyd Mayweather, Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson are, domestic abuse of any sort is indefensible and untenable. Rice and Peterson should be punished for their bad conduct off the field – and that is happening with no small amount of controversy due to who knew what when in the NFL.  In addition, Mayweather has been a regular perpetrator of domestic violence in the past, paying once with jail time by serving two months of a 90 day sentence.  One could argue that his time served for one of seven incidents against at least four different women effectively served as professional punishment as while he was in jail, he could not fight – except that you would be wrong.   In 2012, Mayweather’s sentence was delayed so Floyd could appear as scheduled in one of his bigger “Money” fights against superstar Miguel Cotto.  It was a good night for Mayweather as he beat Cotto to the tune of  $40 million.  So maybe boxing, like the NFL should have done more in institutional reprimand by fining Mayweather or temporarily suspending his license.  Not a bad idea, but that ship sailed without a whole lot of journalistic debate, coverage or uproar in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2012 or the other times he was arrested and/or cited.  So considering the relative lack of concentrated criticism at the time directed towards professional boxing as a sanctioning body or leveled at Mayweather himself, perhaps we are all just a tad Johnny come lately with the ratcheted level of outrage now.

On Jim Lampley’s self-titled HBO show THE FIGHT GAME WITH JIM LAMPLEY, Lampley asks new female correspondent, ESPN’s Michelle Beadle about her opinion of Mayweather and his dismissive comments on Rice’s actions in the now infamous video of Rice knocking out his then fiancé and now wife Janay Palmer.  As to be expected, Beadle is not down with Team Money.  Putting the cherry on top of the whole public shaming, Lampley follows in his closing monologue by going so far as to say that due to his actions outside of the ring, Mayweather’s retirement “cannot come a moment too soon” for the  “betterment of boxing’s image”.  Harsh words considering nobody said it in the aftermath of Mayweather’s seven separate physical assaults. Harsher still when you consider that Mayweather’s disturbing philosophical tendencies and actions haven’t ever before been this roundly rejected as a reason not to allow him to perform professionally.  It’s just now when it’s fashionable that Mayweather pays his pound of flesh not really even for his physical bad acts but mostly for his off color statements on the actions of another athlete.

Don’t worry.  I’m not defending Mayweather or letting him off the hook.  On the contrary, Mayweather, Rice and Peterson are fully grown culpable men.  They can fend for themselves.  However, for us as journalists, both men and women, having had full knowledge of Mayweather’s past outside of the ring and only loudly commenting on it now, doesn’t that make us all equally if not more complicit in creating the morally murky universe where these types of crimes can flourish in the shadows of high performance, money and fame?

It’s a lot like Chris Rock in his comedic monologue “ I LOVE RAP MUSIC”.  In this monologue Rock declares his long lasting love of Rap Music (insert professional boxing here) but shares that lately it is much more misogynistic and difficult to defend. He knows he’s wrong to defend it, but at least he admits his part in the bargain as more than just an innocent bystander:

CHRIS ROCK: “… in the old days, it was easy to defend rap music.  It was easy to defend it on an intellectual level…but it’s hard to defend this… My favorite song right now is impossible to defend.  It’s impossible!  We should all be ashamed of ourselves for liking this… song… you know this….”

Rock goes on to explain incredulously that everyone, including himself and the women in the club are willing to overlook the message of the lyrics of our “favorite song” (insert Floyd Mayweather, Ray Rice, Adrian Peterson, Hope Solo…what have you) in order to enjoy the beat:

CHRIS ROCK: “And you know what’s real wild?…. you’ll see girls dancing to that s###! Loving it!… that’s why people always say rap music is misogynistic and degrading to women… if the beat’s alright, she will dance all night…I see girls on the floor dancing to the nastiest s### ever made…And you know what’s wild?  If you mention to a woman that the song is disgusting and misogynistic they all give you the same answer:

“ He ain’t talking about me!”…

“ He said your name!”

“No he didn’t.”

Naturally, Floyd Mayweather is the song, and up until now, we journalists to a letter have been that “girl in the club” bouncing to his beat and others in the ring, on the football field and the soccer field.   So we’ve all got a lot of explaining to do.  It’s only sitting here now with egg on our faces that we are Monday Morning Quarterbacking (no pun intended) with these “revelations” that Mayweather via his actions outside of the ring has been a disgrace to the sport of boxing.  Maybe we have been the disgrace too – helping him with our silence up until now.  So let’s fix that error in all it’s forms, which aren’t all male or African American.

Enter U.S. Women’s professional soccer player Hope Solo, considered one of the best goalies in the world.  In June of this year, it came to light that Solo had been arrested for domestic abuse against her half sister and a nephew at a family gathering.  Has the League fined her or barred her from playing any games?  No.  If anything, they have been curiously silent on the whole issue until just as recently as this Monday, September 19th.  In that statement they didn’t say much pertaining directly to Solo other than that they don’t condone domestic abuse.  In another interesting show of different strokes for different folks, Solo’s sponsor NIKE, who dropped Adrian Peterson based on his charges have issued no statement on Solo.  Why is Solo being handled so differently from her male counterparts?  Does the fact that Solo is Caucasian – also setting her apart from Mayweather, Rice and Peterson, have any bearing on the relative immunity that she is enjoying?  At the very least, it begs the question, doesn’t it?

If we as a society are pulling up Mayweather, Rice, Peterson and even recently NFL Super Bowl nixed African Bahamian music star Rihanna as those who will to be given the cold shoulder of suspension (which in the case of Rihanna is unwarranted collateral damage as she was a victim of abuse and not a perpetrator) and or public ire, I think we should all take a hard look at what makes one offender different from another and more suspendable or fine worthy.  Should we ask some female, person of color, sports journalist just what her view is on the whole matter?  No worries – I got it covered.

Men Rape And Burn Woman After She Beats Them In Rap Battle

Signs The World IS Coming To An End!

WHAT THE HELL?

This is old, but I just heard it. Three men lose a rap battle to a female rapper and what do they do? They freakin’ rape, shoot and burn her! I cannot believe this crazy sh*t! Bless the women! She didn’t die. These dues are the worst, b. Look at the first dude…he wants to cry so bad.

Three scumbag reprobate rappers from southern Georgia reportedly committed unspeakably evil crimes against a female just because she beat the three in freestyle rap battle, according to media reports.

The three degenerate Columbus, Ga. men — Ketorie Glover, 23, Joey Betrail Garron, 28, and Robert Carl Johnson, 23 — decided to avenge their humiliation for losing to a female by deciding to kidnap her, gang rape her, sodomize her, shoot her and set the victim on fire and leave her for dead.

At a house party in Columbus, Ga., about a two-hour drive south of Atlanta, the trio of so-called male rappers met their match in a 36-year-old black female lyricist. During the freestyle battle, she out performed them all. After the third one was defeated by this cocky female rapper, the three men decided to get revenge.

One of the men reportedly pulled out a gun and forced her into a car, according to the Ledger-Enquirer, and then drove to a vacant lot on Farr Road. All three villainous men then took turns gang raping the woman. After they had finished sodomizing her, they doused her with gasoline and set her on fire. To make a heinous crime even worse, one of the men shot her burning body three times and left her to die.

Her smoldering woman was discovered and rushed to a local hospital, barely alive. Reports state that she has finally come out of her coma but remains in critical condition.

All three men were eventually tracked down and arrested and are facing multiple felony charges including aggravated assault, rape, kidnapping, aggravated battery, aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, hijacking a motor vehicle and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

As if that wasn’t enough, Glover is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Hip-Hop Rumors: What’s Really Going On With Shawnna And DTP?

The good old days…look how young 2 Chainz looked.

This little situation isn’t really going on too far, but there are some people that are talking about it. It just FEELS crazy! Apparently, Shawnna has made some claims that insiders are saying simply aren’t truth. Well, apparently – my sources tell me – that Shawnna and only Shawnna own Shawnna’s music publishing. Also, (I didn’t read the Shawnna interview – just keeping it real) there seems to be a notion that there are some millions of monies owed to her, but I’m hearing that’s not the case at all. For the most part, thesee folks close to the situation are not cure where this whole beef is stemming from. They said that Shawnna left DTP for T-Pain and that was a pretty disloyal act considering Luda put her in the game. On top of that, Luda’s Battle of the Sexes album was meant to jump off Shawnna’s career, but after it fell apart, Luda snagged it up. At the end of the day…they are saying its probably a ploy to get some burn in this harsh music game, because as dope as Shawnna is, its not easy to get a spot in the light these days. This is all kind of weird. I wonder if they will work it out. The world needs to hear from Shawnna…but we also need to hear from Luda too. Both of them should drop albums in 2015 and patch things up.
