YG Tells Story Of His Failed Attempt At Running From The Police (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Last Friday (November 22nd) YG gave the audience at Cipha Sounds’ Take It Personal a story to show why his debut album is called My Krazy Life. Speaking to the sold out crowd at UCB Theatre East, the Compton MC discusses what went wrong when he tried to run from the police.

According to YG, his mad dash from the police resulted from somewhat altruistic intentions as his friend called YG to help him pay his rent by a robbery. What ensued after involves a flat head screw driver, YG’s mother trying to keep her son out the streets through starvation and more.

The UCB Theatre improv actors turned that story into a hilarious satire of police racism and gave the first joke about George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin that is actually funny.

Cipha Sounds’ Take It Personal is every Friday at 9PM at the UCB Theatre East on 153 E 3rd St. Tomorrow’s show (November 29th) will feature special guest Sheek Louch. Tickets are available here.

Papoose Calls Trinidad James a "Jive As* Turkey" On New Diss Track

“Don’t come back to New York, dawg/N*ggas looking for you like the PS4”

(AllHipHop News) HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Papoose seems to have assumed the unofficial position of New York defender from out-of-towners as he aims his new diss song, “Jive A*S Turkey” at Trinidad James for his “South Runs NY” comments.

In the song, Pap not only derides Trinidad but claimed responsibility for Big Sean’s low album sales and Kendrick Lamar’s low ticket sales and subsequent cancellation of tour. No word on if Papoose is referring to the Rock The Bells cancellation that TDE were scheduled to perform at or the postponement of the Yeezus tour earlier this month.

Lorde: I Didn't Mean Drake and Nicki Minaj Were Irrelevant To Everyone

(AllHipHop News) Oh, Lorde, Lorde, Lorde. Last week (November 24th), 16 year old pop singer Lorde called Nicki Minaj and Drake’s music “irrelevant” and then backtracked on her comments.

Taking to her personal Twitter, the singer blames Complex for misconstruing her word. She specified that although she said “How are we listening to this,” her comments were about her own experience:

Ironically, in October, Lorde talked to MTV about the scrutiny people face over their opinions about celebrities:

I think there’s a funny culture in music that’s only happened over the last 15 years, that if you have an opinion about something in music that isn’t 100-percent good, you’re a ‘hater,’ even if you have perfectly reasonable grounds for that critique. People will say exactly what they think about a movie or a TV show, and that’s fine, but as soon as you say it about a record, you’re like some little zombie in a funny dungeon.

Hip-Hop Rumors: The Game's Twerkfest Becomes Fightfest!

I thought twerking was supposed to be about fun and bouncing booties! But The Game had a b-day party and that party erupted into a crazy fight! How? I don’t know, but TMZ was there, as always!

Peep there report:

A night of innocent booty shaking turned VIOLENT at The Game’s birthday party in L.A. last night — when several women straight up BRAWLED in the street … and TMZ has the footage.

It all went down outside Supperclub — where one of the women put on a twerk show for the rapper earlier in the night while he was inside of his car.

A short time later, the woman gets into a fight with another clubber and it sounds like they were arguing over a man. One thing led to another … and they were full on fighting in the street.

There was hairpulling … shoes were used as weapons … a couple of boobs fell out … and one of the fighters was left covered in blood.

Cops eventually arrived and at least one of the women was handcuffed.

Just another night out in Hollywood.

Rockwilder: I Took Ecstasy With A Naked Woman And We Watched A Movie (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) According to famed producer Rockwilder two things were true: Everyone was on ecstacy in Los Angeles in the early 2000’s and he will not just take down anything. Last Friday (November 22nd), famed Hip Hop producer, Rockwilder appeared on Cipha Sounds’ Take It Personal Hip Hop improv show and discussed a hilarious movie viewing experience with a woman on Ecstasy in Los Angeles.

According ot Rockwilder, his church upbrings superseded the chemical influence of the drug and prevented him from having sex with the woman. The improv actors at the Uprights Citizens Brigade took Rockwilder’s ecstasy-induced movie viewing experience with an intoxicated naked woman and turned it into a hilarious commentary on hypocrisy.

This week, Cipha Sounds’ Take It Personal will feature special guest Sheek Louch. Take It Personal happens every Friday at 9pm on 153 E 3rd St in Lower East Side of New York City.

Safaree Samuels aka Scaff Beezy has finally come clean with a tattoo of Nicki Minaj. It has been widely speculated and realized that he and Nicki were about to be married, but this pretty much guarantees it. Dude got a massive tat on his forearm of Nicki! I hope this is forever for him, because if it ain’t, he’s going to have a big reminder of his lost love. But, they have been together for a minute now so maybe they are good.

Suge Knight: I Helped Make "Ready To Die" + Talks Kendrick Lamar

(AllHipHop News) Suge Knight is such a indomitable character that even his interview outtakes can shake Hip Hop history. During the outtakes of Knight’s Rolling Stone interview posted by esteemed writer Paul Cantor, he explains his involvement in the making of The Notorious B.I.G.’s Ready To Die album, how he helped shape Kendrick Lamar and more.

After revealing that Def Jam execs Lyor Cohen and Russell Simmons attempted to get Snoop to sign with them behind Knight’s back, Knight discusses another relatively unknown East Coast connection. According to Knight, he helped shape the debut album of The Notorious B.I.G. through not asking for what he was owed:

If you look at Biggie’s album, Biggie’s album is all West Coast. The first album. When they did the Biggie album, I helped them with that f*cking record. I let Puff use every [The Chronic] sample on [Ready to Die], the hottest record of all time, and didn’t charge them. To show some love. Like here. It ain’t s###. We do this sh*t like we do. I don’t care if it’s a Down South record or East Coast record. If it’s successful, it’s a West Coast vibe.

Ready To Die does sample “The Shiznit” off of Snoop Doggy Dogg’s Doggystyle for the album’s Intro and Dr. Dre’s “Lil Ghetto Boy” off of The Chronic for “Things Done Changed”.

After Snoop Dogg attributed Kendrick Lamar’s aggressive approach on his “Control” verse to him growing up on Death Row Records, Knight shares the same belief and praises Kendrick Lamar:

Kendrick is a dude that’s an incredible artist. I’m not surprised because he’s from Compton. He grew up in Compton, that’s where he lived at, hung out at, and the guys he hangs with from his neighborhood, is p-folk. So there’s no way it wouldn’t rub off on him. There’s no way that his vision wouldn’t be aggressive or that he wouldn’t have the lyrics he has, if he didn’t grow up there. Kendrick know, anybody from Compton, that’s pretty much saying they’re a Death Row artist.

We wanted to do the whole Mastercard commercial. Where it’s like ‘something: five bucks. Marshall Mathers LP: $15. Getting dissed by Eminem: priceless. It’s cool, man. I thought it was pretty amazing. I’m not going to lie.

Eminem appeared on the Juan Epstein show two years ago with Royce Da 5’9 in promotion of their Bad Meets Evil EP. Later in the interview, Rosenberg revealed that Eminem refused to come on Juan Epstein due to Rosenberg’s criticism of Eminem’s performance on Saturday Night Live on November 4th.
