Hip-Hop Rumors: Blind Item Blasts Ludacris

Ludacris Eudoxie 3
What is the world coming through when a “blind item” puts the person on blast! If you’re going to go all out, just go all out! Say this to straightfromthea.com because they completely put Ludacris on blast while saying its a blind item. Well, they not only had a blind item clearly about Ludacris, but they also included vivid descriptions and even pictures! Then they said: ”
Photos & videos used in this post are for illustration purposes only and are not intended to identify any particular individual. We take no responsibility or liability for the assumptions made by our readers.” RIGHT! Hopefully this isn’t true about Ludaman!

They must hate Luda – LOL!

Here is there rumor verbatim.

Rumor has it that one of Atlanta’s most popular rappers/actors/entrepreNegros has a baby on the way.
The popular rapper/actor/entrepreNegro is engaged to a beautiful med school dropout who is on his arm at every major function and the pair is often ‘boo’d up’ at clubs and events around the country.

But word on the curb is that it’s not his fiance who’s pregnant!

News of another u#### mother in Atlanta isn’t news in itself, but apparently it’s the fact that the rapper/actor/entrepreNegro is engaged to be married and his beautiful fiance isn’t the one who is expecting.
The rapper/actor/entrepreNegro has been trying to clean up his image over the past few years and while his fiance is understandably distraught about the news, she is sticking by her man’s side and keeping up appearances.

In the meantime, the streets of Atlanta are talking about how the rapper/actor/entrepreNegro’s soon to be ‘baby mama’ has said she wants to be paid for her silence… and we ain’t talkin’ bout no ‘Chicken & Beer’!

What do you think?

Hip-Hop Rumors: Mona Scott-Young Confirms That 'Love & Hip-Hop LA' is Official

Talk of Mona Scott-Young expanding the Love & Hip-Hop franchise has been swirling for the past few months but there were neither confirmations  nor denials about where the show would land next. However, we mentioned that LA was a strong contender…

It’s official. Mona Scott-Young has confirmed that Love & Hip-Hop LA is a go.

“We’ve been looking at a few cities, it’s feeling like we’ll land in L.A.,” she told Atlanta’s Beestroh of Hot 107.9. “L.A. feels like the next city. Again it’s about struggling artists trying to make it and that’s what’s great about the franchise but it’s feeling like we’ve got some great stories to tell in L.A.”

There’s no word on who could be potential cast members but we’ve got our ears to the ground.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Karlie Redd Got Paid for Threesome With Music Exec and Wife?

If you’re familiar with Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta then you already know that Karlie Redd is super thirsty for attention. Lately she was seen around town on the arm of former Bad Boy rapper Yung Joc but apparently, that’s not enough for the  wannabe artist. Word on the street, according to Funky Dineva, is that Karlie was paid to have a threesome with OG industry exec Hiriam Hicks and his stripper wife.

Check the details:

Hiriam was known to be a bit of a playboy and a freak around town. He rescued a woman from the strip club and made her his wife. No foul there. Love is blind, or in this case naked. Hiriam & Wife allegedly saw Karlie at a party and “had to have her”. Allegedly an offer was made of 3-5k to participate in a 3-some. Allegedly Karlie Redd accepted and went through with the body party. What is unclear at the moment is just when the body party went down. Meaning, was she with Joc when this went down or was it before him. Either way, that’s the scoop.

Hopefully the payoff was worth it in Karlie’s world.

50 Cent Doesn't Expect "Street King Immortal" To Sell Like Past Albums

(AllHipHop News) At one point last decade a 50 Cent album was expected to easily go at least gold in a week. His major label debut Get Rich or Die Tryin’ opened with 872,000 units sold and went on to sell 8 million copies. His sophomore LP The Massacre pushed 1.1 million copies in its first week, and album number 3, Curtis, managed nearly 700,000 in first week sales as he famously competed with Kanye West’s Graduation.

His last official studio album Before I Self Destruct in 2009 barely cracked 100,000 sales its initial week, and his long-awaited fifth LP Street King Immortal has been pushed back several times. The Hip Hop mogul seems to recognize that at this stage in his career he will not be the top-selling rapper he once was.

“I know I won’t sell as many albums as I did previously,” 50 tells the Miami New Times. “Eminem’s new record sold 700,000 copies and was number 1. I think to myself, ‘Is this where we are? I can’t look at a 7 again.’ He doesn’t do anything else but music. It is extreme focus. It’s his passion.”

As 50 puts it, his mentor and label mate Eminem puts all his time into making music. Meanwhile the Queens rapper has been dipping into other business ventures. He has his SMS boxing promotions, SMS Audio headphones, Street King energy drink, and film/TV work. Even with all that on his plate 50 says he still comes back to music for inspiration.

“[The album’s] done actually. I go back to music because it inspires me,” says 50. “I will feel that I am set, but then I hear something new, and I want to go back to the studio.

Cypress Hill To Drop Album In 2014; Says It's "Anti-Everything That's Popular"

(AllHipHop News) It has been almost ten years since California Hip Hop group Cypress Hill released a studio album with all three original members contributing to the entire project. The trio of B-Real, Sen Dog, and DJ Muggs are back together again and plan to drop a new LP in spring 2014.

“It’s great to have DJ Muggs back at the helm of the production,” says B-Real. “When Muggs, Sen, and I work together there’s a chemistry between us that brings forth powerful music. It’s going to be ill, man.”

According to the man handling the production, listeners can expect the project not to follow the trends in music at the moment. Muggs reveals Cypress Hill is returning with  a soundscape that has not been heard before.

“The sound is anti-everything that’s popular and is in a world of its own. The lyrics delivered with the vocal tenacity of a stoned gypsy roaming across the country through the mist,” says Muggs.

Cypress Hill released their LP Rise Up in 2010, but Muggs only produced one track for that album. The group’s 2004 project Till Death Do Us Part was the last one heavily featuring all three members. The 5-track EP Cypress x Rusko, with production by Rusko was released in 2012.

Kanye West Talks Potentially Cutting Nicki Minaj's "Monster" Verse & His Issues With Nike

(AllHipHop News) Kanye West has participated in several high-profile interviews over the last several weeks, but the mere clips from his sit down with the Sway In The Morning Show had the internet a blaze. The full audio of the conversation is now available online.

[ALSO READ: Kanye West Stops By The Breakfast Club For In-Depth Interview (VIDEO)]

While at one point Kanye begins yelling at Sway after being asked a question about needing corporate connections, the convo started off very friendly with the host even calling the emcee “the most important artist of this generation.”

The two speak about the Yeezus Tour, Kanye’s DONDA creative company, the classism of the fashion world, Drake being the best in the game right now, and why he’s not working with Nike anymore. Ye even revealed he considered taking Nicki Minaj off his “Monster” single.

Comparing Nike’s reaction to the success of his Air Yeezys to the reaction of Nicki Minaj’s “Monster” verse, Kanye says:

It was like that moment when I thought about taking Nicki’s verse off of “Monster” because I knew people would say that was the best verse on the best Hip Hop album of all time or arguably top ten albums of all time. And I would do all that work, eight months of work on “Dark Fantasy” and people to this day would say to me  ‘My favorite thing was Nicki Minaj’s verse.’ So if I let my ego get the best of me instead of letting that girl get the shot to get that platform to be all she could be, I would take it off or marginalize her, try to stop her from having that shining moment… as disruptive as that Nicki Minaj “Monster” verse was, it’s how disruptive the Yeezys were.  People hadn’t felt that feeling since the Jordans.

The “New Slaves” rapper goes on to state he and Don C are the only reason Air Jordans are still popular and calls out Nike CEO Mark Parker for holding back the “Red October” Yeezys.

“I’mma put Mark Parker all on that summer jam screen,” adds Kanye.

Suge Knight Says Daz Produced Snoop's "Doggystyle" Not Dr. Dre

(AllHipHop News) Dr. Dre is widely considered one of the greatest Hip Hop producers of all time. Part of his production legacy includes Snoop Dogg’s classic debut album Doggystyle, but now the label head associated with that project claims Dre was not the man creating the album’s tracks.

Speaking with Rolling Stone, former head of Death Row Records Suge Knight tells the publication it was actually Tha Dogg Pound member Daz Dillinger that produced Doggystyle, and Dr. Dre just added his name to the songs.

“Everybody thought [Dr. Dre] would be doing the records, but Daz pretty much did the whole album. And at the end of the day, once Daz finished it, everybody wanted Andre to get the credit,” said Suge. “Next thing I know Daz is having a meeting with Andre and them and came back and said, ‘It’s okay, give me a few bucks and I’ll sign anything over that says produced by Andre instead of me’.”

Both Suge and Dre are listed as executive producers for Doggystyle, but only Dre is credited as a musical producer for the 1993 project. The album set a first week sales records for a debut at the time of its release with over 800,000 units sold opening week. The LP celebrated its 20 year anniversary this month.

Hip-Hop Rumors: JoJo Simmons May Be In Some Mess!!!

The last time I saw JoJo Simmons, he looked something like this:

I don’t know what this is, but it seems like JoJo Simmons is in some mess. Somebody on Facebook accused JoJo of doing some pretty sick stuff. The woman, who seems to be an artist, said that JoJo hit her up with an apparent interest in the music. But, what happened next made it pretty disgusting. She said he told her she would have to do sexual favors to get a contract with him and his crew. She even called him a pig! Wow!
