Hip-Hop Rumors: “Security! Get This Woman Off Jay Z!”

People are crazy. But before I get into it.

Did you see AHH’s Jigsaw in the “Picasso Baby” video? A few days after the premier, I’m looking at it and I’m like that bastard didn’t tell nobody!

Here’s the image from his Instagram.

chuck Jigsaw Creekmur Jay Z picasso baby

Anyway, moving on. I saw this scene in the video, but I didn’t realize what has happening behind the scenes. Between the Daily News and the Daily Mail, this is what they are saying about it… including…WAS IT REAL?

It was something of a mammoth task – a live performance to promote his new album taking place over a seven-hour period.

But Jay Z ran into more trouble than just tiredness as he filmed the performance art piece for Picasso Baby, after Girls’ actress Jemima Kirke got slightly over-excited.

The 28-year-old British actress apparently had to be removed by security after attaching herself to Jay Z and refusing to let go while he rapped to the crowd.

A source told the New York Daily News: ‘She was acting totally nuts! She kept jumping on his back like a little monkey. ‘Someone was screaming “Get her off of him!” ‘Things had started relatively smoothly with Jemima calmly sitting on the bench in the middle of the room as she took her turn being the subject of Jay Z’s rap during the performance at the Pace Gallery in New York.

But as the event progressed, the excitement got too much for Jemima, who plays Jessa Johansson in the hit HBO show, and she threw herself at Jay Z.

The video shows the blonde actress, who was wearing pink trousers and a black top, smiling broadly as she kept a tight grip on the musician.

However, Jay Z didn’t let the unwanted attention from Jemima distract from his performance, continuing to rap to the eager crowd.

The source added: ‘He kept rapping the whole time!’
But even as Jemima was removed by Jay Z’s security team, she was seen kicking as she was carried out, and pleading with the team: ‘Let us finish!
While it looked realistic enough, no doubt Jemima was probably part of the elaborate act.

The incident at Jay Z’s event which was screened on channel HBO in the US last week isn’t the first time Jemima has found herself losing control during a performance art session.

Back in 2010, Jemima was photographed sobbing after watching artist Ambromovic’s The Artist Is Present piece, which involved her sitting still for more than 700 hours.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Is An Outkast Going To UK TV?

UPDATE: Big Boi has publicly denounced and denied these rumors are true.

Big Boi is big over here is the United States, but what about being big in the United Kingdom? I’m hearing that Big Boi could be making the leap to “Big Brother,” the hit UK TV show. The NME alleges that he’s going to join the cast of the reality show for a nice sum of money.

A source told the paper that: “Producers always like to mix things up with an American star and they hope Big Boi will do the business this year.”

It is believed the rapper, who has released two solo albums, including 2012 record ‘Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumours’, has agreed a fee of £300,000 to appear on the programme. A spokesperson for Channel 5 refused to co

mment on contestants before the series starts.

Honestly, I don’t know what “Big Brother” is all about, but Coolio was the last rapper on there. Not sure if Big Boi can fill those massive shoes!

Also, there was a rumor that Andre 3000 was coming back with an album in 2014. Not so, Andre has said. This dude has his fans in a headlock! I think he’s scared to “do it again.” The Lauryn Hill syndrome!

Colorado Man Records Rap About Police Storming His Home As Police Storm His Home

(AllHipHop News) “Bring the mother*ckering SWAT team, special weapons and tactics, operation,” raps Colorado resident Josh Jackson in a video posted to YouTube. At the time Jackson was filming those bars he was also being held up in his home as it was surrounded by 15 police vehicles and a SWAT team’s Bearcat armored vehicle.

As the 19-year-old awaited officers to storm his house on Monday he apparently recorded a verse about the situation in real-time. Jackson, who performs under the name Adequate Advocate, labeled the video “police are trying to murder me as I write this.”

Allegedly, Jackson threatened his roommates with a knife. Police arrived at the scene and ordered Jackson to leave the house, but he refused. Eventually, authorities launched a flash bang grenade into the residence which can be heard at the end of the video.

“I’m not a criminal, I’m political, and right now… Oh sh*t! You heard the blast,” raps Jackson as the video abruptly cuts off.

The aspiring rapper also posted messages on his Facebook page about 5th amendment rights and posts stating that he was unarmed.

“He’s got a history of resisting the police in the past,” said Fort Collins Police Captain Jerry Schiager.

According to Adequate Advocate’s Facebook bio, Jackson served a 90-day sentence in a detention center in 2005 for a third degree assault charge.

Jackson was eventually arrested on felony menacing charges. His court appearance is scheduled for August 13.

EXCLUSIVE: Ying Yang Twins Call Out French Montana And Kanye West, New Mixtape

Kaine & D-Roc, better known as the “Ying Yang Twins,” have been making boppers bounce “Whistle While You Twerk,” their 2000 hit. Over a decade later their influence is still apparent. The duo has taken exception to French Montana and Kanye West seemingly borrowing from their legacy. But, beef aside, the Atlanta-based duo is back after a four-year hiatus to reclaim their spot in Hip-Hop as the innovators of the twerk revolution. How? First of all, the kooky pair have a new mixtape called “A$$ in Session,” which picks right back up where they left off with the effortless ability to make any party turn up. But most people are talking about “Sayin My Word,” which calls out artist French Montana and Kanye West for using their well know adlib “Haaaaaaan.”

The Ying Yang Twins recently chatted with AllHipHop.com before a show to talk about their current mixtape, future music and their feeling about the use of their adlib.

AllHipHop.com: Welcome back to the game!! How does it feel to be back of taking some time off?

Kaine: It feels great man

D-Roc: It feels good to get out here and make music again.

AllHipHop.com: So I know you all have a new mixtape out “Ass in Session.” What inspired the title?

Kaine: Well you already know! We make music people can shake their ass to!

D-Roc: Haaaaaaaaaan (Laughs)

AllHipHop.com: Are you currently working on an album as well?

Kaine: Yeah, we are working on album. No title at the moment, we just want the people to eat the “Ass in Session.” (Laughs)

AllHipHop.com:
Now let’s talk a little bit about the song “Sayin My Word,” in which you address artists like Kanye West and French Montana’s use of the word “Haaaaaannn.” What statement were you looking to make by releasing this song?

Kaine: We just wanted to tell the truth. We were the first one’s saying “Haaaaaan” since 2000. So we feel it’s wrong to not give recognition to those who came before you. It’s not a beef situation at all. We just want to make claim to what we and everybody else knows we started. To make a claim to something that has been out for 13 years is blatantly disrespectful.

AllHipHop.com: How important are adlibs to an artist in today music industry?

Kaine: It’s very important because it how you identify us as artist. Especially with social media and hash tags, adlibs are a way for people to find out who you are.

AllHipHop.com:
You feel the same way about the word “Twerk” as well?

Kaine:
Yea we brought the word “Twerk” to the forefront. The word actually started in New Orleans with their bounce music scene, but we brought it to the mainstream.

AllHipHop.com: Whats next for the Ying Yang Twins?

Kaine:
The fans can definitely look out for an album in the near future, but for right now we just want to push our mixtape “Ass In Session.”

D-Roc: And look out for the Ying Yang Twins in a city near you! Haaaaaaaaan.

EXCLUSIVE: Bryant McKinnie Calls Signing With The Baltimore Ravens “A Blessing in Disguise”

Baltimore Ravens’ Bryant McKinnie is focused on his role as left tackle during his third season for the 2012 NFL Super Bowl Champs, but before he resumed that role, he put a plan in place for his record label, BMajor Music.

BMajor Music recently released Young Lace’s latest mixtape “Bi Polar II,” which features top artists like Trey Songz, Lil Mouse, Skeme, Cashout, Le$ and others. McKinnie founded the label in January of 2011, with the goal of allowing artists to “create music that allowed the freedom of self-expression.”

In addition to Young Lace, BMajor Music is working with female R&B singer BRI and male crooner, TyRell.

Before Bryant McKinnie left Miami for Owings Mills, Maryland for Ravens training camp, the 11-year veteran took a moment to speak with AllHipHop.com about his upcoming season.

He said that they have a new team and new leadership to step up since linebacker Ray Lewis and center Matt Burke retired last season.

“It was actually a blessing in disguise coming from the Vikings for nine years and then being able to go there [Baltimore] and in my first year we went to the AFC Championship and we lost to New England,” Bryant McKinnie told AllHipHop.com. “Then the following year, we made it back to the AFC Championship, played New England and won.”

He also touched on his close relationship with Ray Lewis and what prompted him to join The Ravens.

“Basically ’cause Ray Lewis didn’t allow me to make any other options,” McKinnie said of his choice to head to Baltimore. “When I left the Vikings I got a phone call from Ray Lewis and I was trying to weigh out my options with other teams. He was like ‘we need you here. You’re the missing piece to the puzzle.’ We all went to the same college so I decided that was the best fit.”
