(AllHipHop News) Comedian Katt Williams cannot avoid legal troubles. Williams was arrested for assault in Oakland last night (November 14). The incident occurred at a club named Kimballs Carnival, which is in East Oakland. Police were called to the scene and arrested Katt Williams, although he has yet to be officially charged. The incident is one in a string of events involving Katt Williams over the past 30 days. In October, Katt Williams was arrested for pulling a gun on actor Faizon Love in Hollywood, while his assistant filed a $5 million lawsuit against him, claiming he assaulted her and punched her in the face on October 6.

Atlanta rapper Lil Scrappy narrowly avoided being arrested on Sunday, after a botched concert in Louisville, Kentucky. Lil Scrappy was supposed to perform at a nightclub named Club Vizion, but when he arrived at the venue, a dispute arose with the promoter, who could not pay the rapper. According to TMZ.com, Lil Scrappy agreed to do a meet and greet with fans, since the owner of the club paid him a small amount of money. When he went back to the hotel, his reservation had been canceled. According to reports, police were called in to assist Lil Scrappy’s removal, while the rapper claims he left voluntarily.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Jay-Z Has New Beef With A Gangster!

OK, this is a jack move! I straight up stole this from the New York Post! But, the publication is on some other stuff. Still they have an interesting exclusive read below. Jay-Z in beef with The Godfather? Or is the God Father hating!?

Robert De Niro and Jay-Z got into a tense beef at Leonardo DiCaprio’s birthday bash the other night, when De Niro called the rapper disrespectful, Page Six can exclusively reveal.

Spies say “Godfather II” and “Taxi Driver” star De Niro gave Jay a dressing-down in a roomful of celebs including Martin Scorsese because the rap mogul had refused to return De Niro’s calls.

Sources add that Jay tried to joke his way out of the situation, and even his wife, Beyoncé, tried to intervene, but De Niro wouldn’t back down.

“Bob was sitting at a table, and when Jay-Z went over to say hello, De Niro told Jay that he never called him back,” a source says.

A spy then overheard De Niro complaining to the rapper, a fellow TriBeCa resident, about a song Jay-Z agreed to record for the Tribeca Film Festival. De Niro had reached out to discuss further details, but Jay never returned his calls.

“Bob wasn’t in any mood to make polite conversation,” the spy says. “He told Jay that if somebody calls you six times, you call them back. It doesn’t matter who you are, that is just rude.”

When Jay-Z tried to make a joke of it, saying he is terrible on the phone, a source says, “De Niro kept telling him that he thinks he’s the man, but that he was disrespectful.’ ”

“Beyoncé came over, but that didn’t calm Bob down,” the source said, adding that afterward, “It was the talk of the party. Everyone was saying there’s only one star in New York bigger and badder than Jay-Z, and that’s Robert De Niro. He can be quite scary when he’s angry.”

But a source close to De Niro told us, “It was a low-key private conversation between two people that was apparently overheard. It was not a heated discussion.”

The Darby bash, which sources say ended at 5 a.m. with a tab of nearly $3 million, much of which went to the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, drew Cameron Diaz, Jamie Foxx, Chris Rock, Jonah Hill, Edward Norton, Mark Ruffalo and Emma Watson.

Reps for both De Niro and Jay-Z declined to comment.

Hip-Hop Rumors: What Rapper Is Looking To Be A Life Coach? Who Thanks God For Kendrick Lamar?

This is a good one. Last night, 9th Wonder and Buckshot of Duck Down fame were at the SoHo Apple store in NYC. Well, the conversation was no your typical at the Apple store. It was pretty free flowing. But first of all, 9th Wonder has released two albums with Buckshot and Murs, both of which were released yesterday. They are available on iTunes.

But, here’s the interesting part. One of the funny things that happened. Buckshot (see the name?) is known for his hardcore raps with Black Moon and Duck Down (see the name?). Anyway, Buckshot has evolved a lot. He’s got a song called “Stop Rapping” on their album The Solution. On the song, it seems to be a clear calling for wack MC’s to cut it out. But he revealed its really a calling for people do do what’s their best asset. He went on to say that he studies life coaches a lot and considers MC to stand for “motivational coach.” Buck showed a lot of personality up there, including a cool impersonation of Barack Obama.

Also, 9th Wonder – I believe – said “Thank God for Kendrick Lamar.” From what I understand, he made it clear that he felt Kendrick will create a ripple affect in the younger rap generation. He’ll create better emcees, because good kid, m.A.A.d city is so dope.

The Solution is dope too!
