Azealia Banks Replies To T.I.’s Radio Comments; Beef Continues

(AllHipHop News) Just when you thought the beef between T.I., his artist Iggy Azalea and Harlem femcee Azealia Banks was simmering down, things have again started to heat up as this morning (April 23rd), T.I. scornfully addressed Banks on Tony Sculfield and the Morning Riot radio show in Chicago.

“The fact that she’s speaking up on me and mine, I didn’t even see it,” T.I. said on air in reference to Azealia Banks. “That’s some b#### s**t, I’ma man. You ain’t got no business addressing me, get your man to address me, if you got a man, get him to address me and he and I can speak on it.”

But the up-and-coming Banks didn’t take long to respond, issuing a series of Tweets directed at the Grand Hustle CEO, self proclaimed, “King of the South” and star of VH1’s#### show T.I. & Tiny: Family Hustle:

“@tip T.i …. Please shut the f**k up about this. Like seriously quit it.”

Banks then went on to address T.I.’s reputation in the streets, alleging that T.I. was a snitch.

“@tip funny how you have plenty of time to address me but have nothing to say to the dudes who been calling u at as a snitch forever,” Banks Tweeted. “@tip it’s dead… The streets already know what kind of dude you are. Stop making yourself look softer by dragging this out.”

“@tip ain’t you the same dude that got photographed butt naked n a pair of sneakers and a beanie???!?!”

“@tip what a f###### clown,” Banks Tweeted.

Rumblings of a beef between Iggy Azalea and Banks took form shortly after the cover of XXL’s Freshman cover was revealed. Azealia Bank’s outspokenly took issue with T.I.’s newly signed artist Iggy Azalea gracing the cover with the highly coveted class of artists.

“Iggy Azalea on the XXL freshman list is all wrong” Banks stated a few months ago.

Banks also took issue Iggy’s lyrics in the song “Drugs,” where Iggy rhymes, “When the relay starts/I’m a runaway slave/Master.”

“How can you endorse a white woman who called herself a “runaway slave master, ” Banks said in late February.

112 Reaches Out to Fans, Voting Begins For Battle Of The Boy Bands on MTV

Today, voting went live for MTV’s “Battle of the Bands”, and influential R&B group 112 are among 31crews competing for the coveted title of “Best Boy Band.”

Not just R&B, the competition features groups like Backstreet Boys and N’Sync. Similar to NCAA’s March Madness, the competition pairs off the bands, and as they win, you move on to pair off with another winning group, until there is one final winner.

We spoke to Slim from 112 earlier today (April 23), and here’s what he had to say:

“Right now, they’ve got us paired up with LFO. To pair us off with LFO, no disrespect to them, I’m pretty sure they’re a talented group, but, Naw man, naw! [laughter] So, I’m reaching out to our fans. We’ve put too much hard work into this. Right now, this is crazy. It’s 78% to 21%. How? All of our 112 fans, I’m pretty sure you like one of us in the group. I think we should beat these guys.”

In 1997, Bad Boy’s112 won a Grammy for “Best Rap Performance by A Duo Or Group,” for featuring in the song “I’ll Be Missing You” with Puff Daddy and Faith Evans. They have released five albums, with their final being 2005’s Pleasure & Pain, and its Billboard charting single, “U Already Know.”

Round-one voting closes on this Thursday at noon ET. Vote now at MTV.com.

Floyd Mayweather’s Hip-Hop Label Teams With Sugar Shane For “Spring of Style” Event

(AllHipHop News) Boxing legends Floyd Mayweather and “Sugar” Shane Mosley are teaming up to present the fund-raising event “Spring of Style” in Las Vegas next month.

The event is being sponsored by Floyd Mayweather’s Hip-Hop label, Philthy Rich Records, along with his philanthropic foundation The Floyd Mayweather Junior Foundation (TFMJF).

Proceeds from the high-profile event, which will take place during the weekend of Floyd’s bout with Miguel Coto, will benefit both boxing legends’ respective charities.

“I am committed to giving back to the community and this fundraiser will assist my foundation’s continued efforts to do so,” Floyd Mayweather told AllHipHop.com in a statement. “Shane and I are both fighting for our careers in the ring, but we are blessed to be in a position to help those less fortunate and support causes outside the ring too. I know the entire boxing world will be in town for my fight and I expect a great turnout for the event.”

According to Floyd, a number of celebrities, athletes and entertainers will attend the event, which costs $75- $100 per person.

“Everyone who is in town for the weekend can buy a ticket to attend the event,” said Mayweather. “Working together works and through the support of each and every one of us, something really positive can happen.”

Sugar Shane is also a sponsor of the “Spring of Style” event via his Diamond’s Love foundation, which was founded in honor of his nephew, Diamond J. Johnson.

Sugar Shane’s charity focuses on implementing child car seat safety programs, as well as running programs that assist single fathers raising their children.

“I am thrilled to be a part of this fight and have the opportunity to work with Floyd outside of the ring to support our charities,” Mosley added. “We both feel strongly about helping at-risk youth so the two of us coming together to better the community is a great opportunity.”

The “Spring of Style” event will take place on Thursday May 3 at MGM Grand In Las Vegas.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Forget Cars, Rick Ross’ YACHT Gets Pulled Over For Smelling Like Weed!

Amidst rumors of signing Ma$e and having Suge Knight vocally admitting that he wants to “beat the dog sh*t” out of the MMG head, Mr. Rozay is having no problem staying in the headlines.

TMZ reported that Ross and a number of his “pals” were pulled over during some partying they were doing in Miami…on a boat!

Rick Ross on his boat talking to the FWCC

Get this, it wasn’t even the Miami Police that “pulled” Ross over. It was the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission who claimed “the odor of weed” as grounds for them to see what was up on the boat.

According to TMZ“cops” boarded the vessel and conducted a search but found nothing, and word has it that the only reason Rozay and Co. were let go is because one of the yacht-travelers did what any rationally thinking person would do, which is throw that sh*t overboard!

At the end of the day, all is well for Rozay as “the officers didn’t find any marijuana on board, no arrests were made and no further investigation will be conducted.”

Hip-Hop Rumors: Did Dr. Dre Shoot Down Tupac Hologram Tour Rumors?

On the final day of Coachella, Dr. Dre made a video to thank all of his fans for their support during his two shows at the festival. In the video, Dr. Dre shoots down rumors that the Tupac Hologram was created to go on tour, but does leave the door open for future opportunities, saying:

“I want to get rid of all the rumors out there. This was not done for a tour. If a tour happens, we’ll see. This was done strictly for Coachella 2012.”

Check out the video below:

Hmm, this sure doesn’t sound like the door is closed on this one.

The Wall Street Journal previously reported that Dre and Snoop were plotting a tour involving themselves and the holographic ‘Pac, which reportedly cost between $100,000 and $400,000 to produce.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Are Tyga and Blac Chyna Having A Baby?
