50 Cent is planning to collaborate with Reebok and Marvel for two separate lines of SMS Audio headphones.
Fif sat down with Fortune to discuss the new partnerships and said he chose those two brands because of their longevity.
“Those brands don’t go anywhere,” said the G-Unit general. “They’re not going away.”
The Marvel-themed headphones will be superhero inspired but Brian Nohe, president of SMS Audio, warns that they won’t be “toy like.”
“All that stuff we do, it’s classy,” Nohe told Fortune. “Like on The Avengers headphones, it won’t be a picture of Thor running around. It will be a little symbol, and have the same colorways.”
These SMS headphones will sell for $99.
The Reebok line of headphones will be geared more towards the fitness junkies and will be sold at select Reebok stores and online. 50, who is the CEO and founder of SMS Audio, said that he learned about design and is offering more in the packaging than just these headphones. If you buy the Reebok edition, you will also receive two washable covers for each side, a zip case, a detachable cable with a built-in controller, stickers and a towel.
Nohe also demonstrated how unbreakable the headgear is when he roughly twisted it in a demonstration.
“This is why we say it’s better quality, better sound, better value,” he said.
