Diddy’s Gang Rape Accuser “Has A Public-Facing Identity,” Could Be Recognized If Named

Diddy

The Jane Doe accusing Diddy and Harve Pierre of gang rape and trafficking could be identified if named publically, his lawyers argued.

Diddy’s lawyers are seeking to seal new documents filed by his rape accuser claiming the woman “has a public-facing identity” and could be identified if the court documents are made public, per Legal Affairs & Crime reporter Meghann Cuniffe.

The woman filed a lawsuit against Diddy and former Bad Boy Entertainment president Harve Pierre, accusing them of gang rape and trafficking in 2003 when she was 17 years old.

In December, the plaintiff sought to remain anonymous and asked that she proceed in the case as Jane Doe. Her lawyers argue that identification “poses a risk of mental harm.”

The Bad Boy founder’s legal team is opposing her request to remain anonymous. However, they asked the judge to seal their latest brief “out of an abundance of caution.” They believe she could be identified from the details outlined in their brief.

Litigator Jonathan D. Davis claims he has spoken with Jane Doe’s counsel, who agrees the new brief should be sealed.

Harve Pierre also joined the request via his lawyers.

In her request to proceed anonymously, Jane Doe says her claims “concern brutal sexual assault and rape when she was a teenager and, accordingly, are highly sensitive and of a personal nature.”

Jane Doe’s complaint accuses Diddy, Pierre and an unidentified third man of gang-raping and trafficking the woman in 2003 at Diddy’s NYC recording studio, Daddy’s House.

Her filing followed Cassie Ventura’s bombshell lawsuit against Diddy, which the former couple settled within 24 hours. Multiple other complaints were filed against Diddy, accusing him of sexual abuse.

Diddy vehemently denied the allegations in a social media post.

“LET ME BE ABSOLUTELY CLEAR: I DID NOT DO ANY OF THE AWFUL THINGS BEING ALLEGED,” he wrote. “I WILL FIGHT FOR MY NAME, MY FAMILY AND FOR THE TRUTH.”
