VICE’s Motherboard obtained unaired footage from Kanye West’s interview with Tucker Carlson.
The clips contained more antisemitism from Kanye West, who was suspended from Instagram and Twitter for offensive posts regarding Jewish people. The unedited interview featured several bizarre claims, including ‘Ye saying “fake children” appeared at his house to sexualize his kids.
Kanye West referenced an antisemitic trope while complaining about his children’s school. ‘Ye took issue with his kids learning about Kwanzaa.
“My kids are going to a school that teaches Black kids a complicated Kwanzaa,” he told Tucker Carlson. “I prefer my kids knew Hanukkah than Kwanzaa. At least it will come with some financial engineering.”
Kanye West also brought up a conspiracy theory about Planned Parenthood, alleging it was created to “control the Jew population.” He then clarified what he meant by Jew.
“When I say Jew, I mean the 12 lost tribes of Judah,” he said. “The blood of Christ, who the race—the people known as the race Black really are. This is who our people are. The blood of Christ. This, as a Christian, is my belief.”
In another clip, Kanye West mentioned Jewish people via a metaphor. He suggested Tucker Carlson should edit it out of the interview.
“Think about [Black people] judging each other on how white we could talk would be like, you know, a Jewish person judging another Jewish person on how good they danced or something,” ‘Ye said. “I mean, that’s probably like a bad example and people are going to get mad at that s### … I probably want to edit that out.”
Other unaired tangents included Kanye West’s thoughts on Virgil Abloh. He continued to blame the Louis Vuitton company for the fashion designer’s death.
“Virgil was actually the third person to die of cancer in that organization,” he said in the interview. “So not just Black men have passed in that organization, but the third person to die of cancer that was in a higher up position in that organization. And with Paris is a different level of elitism and racism. And Virgil was the kind of guy that he didn’t hold it in. And I believe it ate him up from inside.”
