Lil Scrappy Talks Passing On A Movie Role In ‘ATL’ (VIDEO)

THE ATLANTA RAPPER HAD THE CHANCE TO APPEAR IN THE T.I. & BIG BOI LED FILM

(AllHipHop News) The 2006 film ATL has become a Hip Hop cult classic. The  Clifford “T.I.” Harris led movie also starred Antwan “Big Boi” Patton, Lauren London, Jackie Long, Evan Ross, and Jason Weaver. It appears the drama set in Atlanta almost had another hometown rapper appear in the movie as well.

Lil Scrappy sat down with DJ Smallz Eyes to discuss his interest in taking on acting roles. The star of the VH1 reality show Love & Hip Hop Atlanta revealed he passed on the chance to appear in ATL.

“I was supposed to be in ATL. But my manager at the time  – rest in peace Chris Lighty – was like, ‘Nah, they ain’t trying to pay you a lot. They’re trying to give you some bullsh*t,'” said Scrappy. “The next thing you know it came out. I was like ‘Ah, f*ck!'”
