Rihanna Melts Hearts With First Photos Of Baby With A$AP Rocky

Rihanna unveiled her newborn daughter, Rocki Irish Mayers, on Instagram Wednesday (September 24) with a pair of sweet snapshots and a name reveal that had social media buzzing.

The first photo showed the singer cradling her baby girl in her arms. The second image was a close-up of tiny satin pink boxing gloves—a nod to the newest little fighter in the family.

The caption read: “Rocki Irish Mayers September 13, 2025.”

The post marked the first glimpse of Rihanna and A$AP Rocky‘s third child and their first daughter.

Within minutes, the comments section filled with congratulations and emotional reactions, many celebrating the couple’s long-expressed wish finally coming true.

The name Rocki continues the family’s tradition of “R” names—joining siblings RZA Athelston Mayers and Riot Rose Mayers, as well as parents Rihanna (born Robyn) and Rakim Mayers, better known as A$AP Rocky. The baby also shares a variation of her father’s name.

The couple had been open about their hopes for a girl. In a September 2025 Elle interview, Rocky said, “I hope it’s a girl. I really do. We’re praying for a girl.”

He added that this pregnancy felt different from their previous two. “Our first time, we wanted to know the sex of the baby. The second time, we didn’t want to know. Third time, we don’t want to know until, you know. I feel like it’s going to be a girl. This pregnancy is so different from the other two. You can tell from the experience. I hope it’s a baby girl, man. I need that.”

Hints about their desire for a daughter had been sprinkled throughout the year, including playful moments at the 2025 Met Gala and the Brussels Smurfs premiere, where the couple dropped subtle clues.

Rihanna has previously said she would feel “blessed” to raise daughters close in age, imagining a tight-knit sibling bond. With Rocki’s arrival, that vision is now a reality.

The couple’s first child, RZA, was born May 13, 2022, and was named after the Wu-Tang Clan’s legendary leader.

Their second son, Riot Rose, arrived on August 1, 2023, continuing the “R” name trend.

During the same Elle interview, Rocky also teased the possibility that he and Rihanna may already be married. “How you know I’m not already a husband?” he said. When pressed, he added, “I’m still not gonna confirm it.”
