Safaree Talks Wanting To Work With Nicki Minaj Again & Possible Fight With Meek Mill

(AllHipHop News) Before her relationship with Meek Mill, Nicki Minaj dated Safaree Samuels for over a decade.

The former couple also routinely worked together on music.

Now that Nicki and Meek have broken up, Safaree is open to connecting with the leader of the Barbz again.

“I don’t know, Self,” Safaree told the Power 105.1 disc jockey when asked if he wanted “that old thing back.”

He continued, “Not in the light of bringing it back to what it was. But just on the work tip, I think the culture needs that.”

Safaree also appeared to be willing to actually fight Meek over Nicki.

Earlier this month, Meek called out his rival Drake to agree to a boxing match, but Safaree suggested he should be the person to step into the ring against the Dreamchaser.

“Drake don’t got time but I do,” wrote Safaree on Instagram.

The Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star claimed he has been training at Floyd Mayweather’s gym.

Jason Lee of The Hollywood Unlocked asked Safaree who would win in a 3-round bout between him and Meek.

“That’s not even a question,” said Safaree. “I’d love to see it happen.”
