The news happen to be coming after the performance of his single “All Eyes On You” with Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj at the BET Awards. Before the BET Awards, French Montana released a new video for his single “Off the Rip”. The single features a mixture of two artists in New York Hip Hop’s past and future, N.O.R.E. and Chinx Drugs. The video itself pays homage to Chinx Drugs, the rapper who was brutally murdered in Queens a few months back. Check out “Off The Rip” below.
Diddy put on one of the best performances at the 2015 BET Awards, without question. He brought out the whole – well most of – the Bad Boy Records crew! R.I.P. Biggie! But, if you looked fast, Diddy took a tumble as Lil Kim came out to kill her part of the performance.

This weekend, it was reported that Dej Loaf was in a fight with one of her former managers, according to TMZ. The scuffle happened after two of Loaf’s managers didn’t show up during her rehearsal before the awards show yesterday. Their absence lead to her dismissing both of the managers from her team. The Detroit MC and her camp left the fight unscathed, but it’s reported that the manager in the fight left with a scar on his head.

However, ever since the group dispersed, none of the artists have stepped on stage. According to the Rolling Stone, Ice Cube has never stepped on a stage with DJ Yela since 1989.
That all changed last night at the BET Experience in Los Angeles when Ice Cube, DJ Yela, and MC Ren linked up on stage. The performance was organized to help celebrate the release of NWA’s feature biopic Straight Outta Compton. Check out the video below.

(AllHipHop News) While currently incarcerated in Rikers Island, Ackquille “Bobby Shmurda” Pollard, was recently busted for allegedly possessing a shank. Kimberly Rousseau, Bobby’s purported girlfriend, is the woman accused of smuggling the shank into the facility, and has plead guilty to the charges of criminal possession of a weapon and promoting prison contraband, reports NY1.
Adding insult to injury, as confirmed in the criminal complaint, the New York Daily News asserts that an eye-spy jail guard supposedly witnessed the whole interaction between Rousseau and Pollard. Ms. Rousseau, was said to have pulled out a concealed item from her bra and handed it over to Bobby. Upon inspection, it turned out to be a balloon covered with black electrical tape. After opening the balloon, the guard is said to have discovered a shank was nestled inside of the item. Next month, Kimberly is due back in court.
Last week, the currently incarcerated, Bobby Shmurda, was re-arrested in Rikers Island when a jail guard reportedly witnessed Bobby in possession of a “sharpened metal object.” Subsequently, additional charges were added to the litany of charges that the Shmoney Dance creator faces stemming from his from his 2014 arrest.

(AllHipHop News) Last Friday (June 26), Game, spoke on his anticipated effort, Documentary 2. When he caught up with North Carolina’s Power 98, during the 2015 BET Awards, the Compton MC claimed, “It’ll be a classic.” The left coast lyricist went on to announce that he plans to drop the project in August. He didn’t disclose a definitive release date, but he did verify which producers were entrusted to craft its sound.
“Shout out to all the producers who helped me with it: Dr. Dre; Pharrell; Swizz Beatz; Timbaland; DJ Premier; Alchemist; [and] Scott Storch,” Game said in response to what sound architects were working on his upcoming album.

Meek Mill continued his “Meek Season” as he partnered with TIDAL, during BET Weekend, to host an exclusive celeb filled pool party at the Mondrian Hotel in Los Angeles, C.A. TIDAL fans had the opportunity to party with Meek Mill, DJ Mustard, Wale, French Montana, Gunplay, Wale, Vic Mensa, Justine Skye, and more as he celebrated his sophomore album ‘Dreams Worth More Than Money’s’ release. DJ Square Biz kept the party rocking, while guests were able to make TIDAL playlists with Meek Mill.

(AllHipHop News) Last week, it was reported that on Wednesday (June 26), Nipsey Hussle, was arrested in Burbank, CA. Following the conflicting misinformation surrounding the “Don’t Take Days Off” MC’s arrest, his lawyer, Mark Bledstein, has issued an illuminating statement. Within it he claims that Nipsey wasn’t driving before his arrest; he also asserts that Nipsey has a codeine prescription due to “a severe strep throat condition,” this according to HotNewHipHop.
Bledstein insisted, “My client, Ermias Asghedom, has a severe strep throat condition from performing multiple shows monthly and was prescribed cough syrup as a remedy. He is currently in the final stages of the recording process of his new album Victory Lap, and couldn’t project his voice without treatment. The night of his arrest [he] was not driving but parked in front of a recording studio in Burbank when he was approached by the police.”
Working to clear his client’s name, the statement concluded with, “He willingly allowed the officers to search his car and told them where the cough syrup was. After running his name they found an outstanding traffic warrant that he was taken into custody for and cited out for later that night. I have contacted the courts and began the exoneration process for the cough syrup simply by providing his prescription. He is doing great and excited about his upcoming album release.”

Friday night, fans were left wondering why DMX was suddenly arrested before a highly publicized show in New York City.
The so-proclaimed dog of Hip-Hop was taken in to custody because of alleged child support infractions, according to police.
The rapper allegedly owes over $400,000 in back child support. There were several warrants out for the 44-year-old rapper.
There were also warrants for bail jumping and an alleged robbery in Newark, NJ.

Chris Bearer was in the news around this time last year. The west coast Wu-Tang affiliate made national news when he severed his penis off and jumped off of a 2-story balcony in an attempted suicide. Although the news has died down throughout 2014, Bearer has been appearing in news now in retrospect of the situation. Recently in an interview with Vlad TV, Bearer spoke out about the reason why he tried to kill himself. According to Bearer, he became depressed while struggling to pay child support as well as talk to his kids.
Although he was critical wounded from severing his penis, Chris Bearer is proud of what he’s down. Bearer tells Vlad TV:
“I’m the only man that did what the f### I did. And I’m proud of it,”
“Cause why in the eons of history, I don’t think anybody ever did it…I probably made the biggest mistake in history, but I’m proud of that.”
