Lil B Explains James Harden & Kevin Durant Curse, Disses Chedda Da Connect, and Breaks Down NBA Finals Play With DJ Whoo Kid (AUDIO)

Lil B has pioneered the cooking dance, and a lot of Athletes and Artists have since adopted it. But this was ill-advised for Houston Rockets Shooting Guard James Harden. During Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals, Harden was cooking on the court and then dissed Lil B saying he didn’t know who he was. In fact this was false, and Harden fully knew what he was doing. Because of this, Game 3 was the start of the curse for the Rockets SG and Golden State went on to win the series.

The Bay’s own Lil B had called into DJ Whoo Kid’s show on Shade 45 (Sirius XM) this Saturday and lifted the curse off Harden. Listen as he explains why, and also warning other Athletes to be careful when performing the dance as they could have the same fate. Also he states why Kevin Durant still has the curse and why it won’t be lifted, and also takes stabs at Chedda Da Connect for swagger jacking with his single “Flicka Da Wrist”.

Lil B also thanks T.I. for showing love to the “Kevin Durant Diss” on Jimmy Kimmel. Then he later pays homage to Waka Flocka Flame, OJ Da Juiceman, and Gucci Mane for being pioneers. The interview is closed out with B’s predictions for the close of the series, and says that Eminem’s “Nail In The Coffin” is his favorite record.

D’Angelo & The Vanguard Bring The Funk To Atlanta!

D’Angelo and The Vanguard delivered an electrifying performance last night to a packed house at The Tabernacle in Atlanta, Georgia. D’Angelo has been on the road with his ‘The Second Coming’ Tour to promote his long awaited and critically acclaimed third studio album, “Black Messiah,” (released at the end of 2014). Through his music, the uniquely soulful singer reminded fans why he is iconic and regarded as one of the torchbearers of funk. Backed by a band of horns, guitars, keyboards and powerful backing vocals, D’Angelo certainly brought the house down!

D’Angelo showcased his rich falsetto on his recent single “Really Love” and took fans back with gritty soul and vocal prowess and range with his classic, “Brown Sugar”, from his 1995 debut album of the same name. D’Angelo went back and forth between playing the guitar and piano, at one time even highlighting his guitar skills with funky bass lines and riffs alongside two of his guitarists.

D’Angelo and The Vanguard performed 3 different sets, taking a brief intermission in between each. D’Angelo closed the show with his classic hit single “Untitled (How Does It Feel)”. The singer stirred up so much emotion as he teased the crowd repeatedly acting as if he was going to begin the intro of the song at least 4 times. The buildup and momentum from the tease made the musical moment even more magical when he sung softly, “Girl it’s only you; have it your way.” The crowd erupted in screams and cheers. After all, this was the song that really propelled him to mainstream success further than that of his classic debut album. The band and background singers exited the stage in a unique manner. Each member bowed out gracefully with their own vocal or instrumental solo to “Untitled (How Does It Feel)”. Many members shook hands with or hugged D’Angelo before leaving the stage. The singer continued to gracefully play chords until it was just him closing, as he asked one more time, “How does it feel?” The Tabernacle was filled with raw funk, gritty soul, sensuality, as D’Angelo captivated the hearts of music fans, again, 15 years after his last album. D’Angelo proved once again why he is the definition of a true artist and musician.

One fan exclaimed,

“I waited 15 years for this moment!”
