Safaree Raps About His Breakup With Nicki Minaj On New Song (AUDIO)

Nicki Minaj’s ex Safaree has done a few interviews since his much publicized breakup but he is using his music to truly vent about the heartbreak. On a clip of his new track “Love the Most,” he raps candidly about their split and being the man behind hip-hop’s biggest female rapper.

On the snippet obtained by TMZ, it seems like Safaree feels like he never got the credit he deserved from his former love, whom he thought he would have a family with one day.

“You ain’t do it all alone we took ourselves up out the hood…Twelve years up in flames thought you would’ve had my kid,” he rapped.

The Brooklyn native also revealed that he was not always okay with watching Nicki put on a show with other male rappers, saying he forced himself to take the bad with the good.

“Had to watch you kiss Nas and pretend it’s all cool / Inside I was feeling like a motha f–king fool,” he said.

Listen to the clip below. The full song is due out on June 12th.

New Safaree Song A Nicki Minaj Diss?

Photo via Safaree’s Instagram

Safaree said he wasn’t going to bash Nicki Minaj in his music, but it looks like he may be in his feelings on his new track “Love The Most”. Safaree says when he watched Minaj kiss Nas he felt like a fool, and she didn’t make it by herself. Most draw from their personal experiences for their music, but we honestly need Safaree to not talk about Nicki! But is that his only storyline? The jig is up. Safaree covers Minaj’s alleged infidelity, refusal to have his baby, rejection he faced, and her rubbing her new relationship with Meek Mill in his face. Are you feeling the track?

What Are Dame Dash & Deelishis Working On?

Photos via Dame & Deelishis’ Instagram

Hmmm what could the Harlem boss Dame Dash and former Flavor or Love star turned party host and radio personality Deelishis be working on? Maybe Dame is trying to help her really kick off her singing career, or maybe he’s just trying to holla. Does he want her on the Poppington University tour, or alongside him in his next film. Either way, I think we would like to see them work on something that shows her talent more than her “walk away videos”.

Well we don’t believe that Rihanna is pregnant, especially since she has told the media on several occasions that she has lots of work to do before she can even think about settling down and having kids. Regardless, a French Magazine published a story claiming Leonardo DiCaprio impregnated the singer, and he doesn’t want the baby. DiCaprio doesn’t plan on taking this lying down, and is suing Oops magazine. We can’t see RiRi pregnant right now anyway.

Chris Brown Talks Fatherhood, His Breakup With Karrueche And More (AUDIO)

While seemingly enjoying fatherhood to his daughter Royalty, Chris Brown has been having a rough time coping with his breakup from his ex-girlfriend of five years, Karrueche Tran. He recently stopped by the On Air With Ryan Seacrest show to talk about the emotional rollercoaster he’s been on since finding out he was a father and losing his love.

When discussing moving on from Tran, the “Love More” singer said he is taking it “one day at a time.”

“I can’t promise anything and I can’t jump over the moon, but it takes time for all wounds [to heal]. I take full responsibility for my actions and things that I’ve done in the past…“Of course I still love her, but mentally right now, I think everything takes time. I just need to focus on being the best father I can be.”

The 26-year-old said that ever since he found out he was a father, he has matured more so he could take on this major responsibility.

“I think this was just a blessing in disguise with my daughter because I get a chance to look at her and teach her the right path and also be a father in my daughter’s life. Just to see a smile on her face — just to see the littlest things — is emotional for me, so I just love that aspect of being able to be a father now.”

Read excerpts from Vince Staples’ interview below.

On the current state of Hip Hop:

Hip-hop culture [is] not appreciated…Hip-hop is the most imitated, most influential, most creative, most underappreciated, underrespected music form there is. It’s more [than black art not being respected.] It scares white people. I say that as part of the problem. That’s where I want to be, on this side of the wall.

On the Baltimore Uprising:

In Baltimore, thy saying, ‘F*ck the police.’ They’re really fighting against the police.  My whole thing is everybody wants to bicker and complain, but nobody wants to take action. Whether it’s violent or not, take action.  If you so mad at police, go kill one of the police…People got to understand this. I am a thug and animal in the general description of the words. We live in a motherf*cking zoo. They watching us on TV, but they’re not going to go to Baltimore…As far as police things, take action if you believe in it, but understand that these people don’t understand where you come from. As much as people listen to YG, they wouldn’t go to Compton.

On why he doesn’t care about being a rapper:

I don’t care about rap music like that. That sh*t means nothing to me. I don’t sit at my house looking at vinyls. Sh*t don’t mean nothing when there’s people out here dying and starving with no hope. That’s what matters, so you don’t want to get jaded and lose sight of where you came from. I might be okay now, but I’m not really okay, because nobody else is okay.

Big Sean Was On The News Rapping About Abstinence & Drug Prevention? (VIDEO)

Big Sean may make songs about big a#### and how his girlfriend has a billion dollar p***y, but back in the day he was all about waiting until marriage to have sex. He even rapped about it on TV.

Old video of Sean Anderson when he was a member of a group called Yung Boyz is circulating around the interwebs. Sean and friends can be seen rapping about abstinence and not doing drugs during a news broadcast.

The video is obviously from when Sean was a teenager and it was uploaded to YouTube 5 years ago, but users on Reddit have breathed life back into the clip.

“I hope that young people will listen and listen to the lyrics. It’s a really powerful message,” Sean tells the camera. “Too many of these rappers are using sex and drugs to sell. We just wanted to approach it a different way.”

The clip ends with the video for “Abstain” by Sean and the Yung Boyz. “Sex and drugs ain’t funny,” spits a little Big Sean.
