Whoa so apparently things got a little physical between legendary model Naomi Campbell and model Cara Delevingne during Paris Fashion Week. Allegedly the incident took place Sunday night and started out as a yelling match and then a physical brawl soon followed. Witnesses claim that Naomi was spotted angrily shouting at Cara, and the two began pushing and shoving each other. Cara was even seen grabbing Naomi’s hair. Naomi already lost her edges so ouch. A witness told Page Six, “Naomi accused Cara of ‘disrespecting’ Rihanna and started yelling, before Naomi pushed Cara, who pushed back.” Another witness added, “Cara pulled Naomi’s weave, but it didn’t come off.” Play nice ladies.
Representing Patterson, NJ is Kalye Lam$ as he drops his new smash that is receiving critical acclaim “Orange”. As he prepares the release of his new EP “I Love Women” you can expect a big year for the New Jersey artist on the rise.
Chris Brown has been hushed ever since it was alleged that he fathered a nine-month old daughter while in a relationship with his longtime girlfriend, Karrueche Tran. Though he has not addressed it publicly, trolls on Twitter and Instagram did and they have been bashing him endlessly. Breezy’s been keeping busy while on the Between the Sheets tour with Trey Songz but decided to blow off some steam on his Instagram about all the hate being thrown his way.
In a now deleted post, he still did not say anything about his alleged daughter, but did have a mouthful for his naysayers.
“Some of you ignorant human beings on here have yet to grasp the concept of your own lives,” Breezy wrote in the caption. “This is for encouragement for anyone dealing with their own issues. Half of yall pages are private and the others look so damn depressing I understand why u feel like u have the right to say some of the most outrageous things possible. U don’t have to like me but one thing is for sure… You all are looking though.. That’s the diffeence between leadership and being a cancer to this planet. We have no real leaders or people to join together for great things anymore. At least not the youth… We will one day drown in a pool of our own negativity. Be blessed or be quiet.”
The Between The Sheets tour wraps up on Mar. 19th in Hampton, VA.

As a member of the Los Angeles based Hip Hop group Jurassic 5, Marc 7 contributed to the Top 20 albums Power in Numbers and Feedback. The Paterson, New Jersey born emcee officially set out on his own in 2014 with his debut studio LP Food Clothing & Shelter, and Marc is now returning one year later with his latest effort – When Sounds Attack (Vol. 1).
The 9-track EP includes the soulful “Lose You” and the thundering “Sasquatch.” Fellow West Coast representative Blu joins Marc on “Make A Way.” Knytro and MC Supernatural also show up on “Come 2 Far.”
Even with verbal assistance from other rappers and longtime associate “Big John” Meyers serving as engineer, When Sounds Attack is fully a Marc 7 creation. The project is being released on his Marc7 Music label, and the EP’s aesthetic was forged by the artist himself.
WSA1 is just the opening salvo of the socially conscious rhyme spitter’s musical delivery for 2015. Before he continues his re-introduction to the world as a solo performer, AllHipHop.com caught up with Marc 7 to get some insight into his new commercial release.
Why did you decide to do an EP rather than a full length project?
A lot of thought went into the first record, but when I thought about doing Sounds Attack it was kind of split music wise. I had producers in mind I wanted to work with like Hirolla Beats, but also Blacksmith and Frenic. They had production on Food, Clothing & Shelter.
There’s also a cat named Iron Monkey. I had a bunch of beats from him, so I said, “I may do this in three series and feature one producer’s work more than the others.” Hirolla Beats had a lot of production on volume 1 of Sounds Attack.
Are you expecting to drop the other two volumes this year?
God willing, I’m hoping to drop volume 2 in the summer time and volume three fourth quarter.
You talked about the production being different. What about the content?
It really depends on where the music takes me. I’m always going to have something to say on my tracks. At the same time, sometimes I just want to be an emcee and just rhyme. So it really depends on what the music is saying. Volume 2 is more an emcee’s record. It’s more hard-hitting beats.
You’re releasing Sound Attacks on your own Marc 7 Music?
Yeah, that’s my label.
What are some of the advantages and disadvantages of releasing music on your own?
I can’t really say any disadvantages. Where the industry is right now, it’s a great time to be an independent artist. With the explosion of the Internet, how music is received and streamed, how you can get it out – if Jurassic 5 had this when we were coming out, there’s no telling where we would be.
You don’t have to really worry about a label supporting you. It’s not necessary. In all honesty, if someone offered me a deal I wouldn’t take it. I would never sign a 360 deal. That’s just me. There’s no reason to give up so much of your pot of gold to a label that’s just going to give you a little marketing which you probably already have, depending on your presence online.
The artist direct-to-fan marketing is where it’s going. If you have that support or fanbase, what else is there?
With a lot of the majors now, they’re not interested in signing an artist unless you come in with a fanbase, but then they get a cut of your merchandise and touring. So what is the advantage of being on a major label?
They know the secret to all this is that fanbase. All they want to do is to tap into your base to get it to whoever else is on their roster. It’s the Information Age. There’s a lot of money in people’s information. There’s a high demand for it.
I remember I called an A&R at Interscope after we left to get my hands on the mailing list for J5. They didn’t want to give it up. They finally gave it up. It had over 40,000 names. That alone you could sell, not that I would. It’s just a weird time in music in general.
Now that you have your own label, are you interested in signing other artists?
I would like to, but what I’m really trying to do is figure out the stumbling blocks on my own first before I bring someone’s career here and mess it up. I want to be the test dummy. That way I can get a feel of how I want to do it. I’ve linked with some really good people as far as distribution and p.r.
I’m figuring this thing out. Then when I get to that place where I’m comfortable putting stuff out, I can do it. When I establish that on my own, then I’ll bring somebody else in. But yes, I definitely would like to put some cats on.
As you build the promotion for Sounds Attack, are you looking to tour?
I have a commitment with J5 in March to do Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. Then we have some summer stuff. I really would like to do a tour of my own after Vol. 2 comes out. I just want to get a nice amount of music under my belt. Let the people know I’m serious about it, and I’m putting out quality stuff.
Was it a different process for you recording a solo album after being in a group?
Yeah, it was, because you’re so used to having all those people’s input and critiquing everything. We’re hard on each other. One thing about [recording with] three other emcees is you don’t have a lot of space to rhyme, so when it’s your time you better do what you do, put as much heat on as you can.
The beauty of being by yourself is you have the whole song to rhyme. There’s a good and a bad. There’s no one to tell you, “I’m not feeling that.” The flip side is it’s all you. All the decisions are on you. You’re the only one that has to say, “Alright, it’s dope. It’s ready.” It’s a good and a bad, but I enjoy the process. I’m on a roll now.
The Red Bull Music Academy Festival will be back in New York City for the month of May to bring a series of workshops, lectures and live performances with some of music’s finest. This year, A$AP Rocky will be apart of one of the main festivities.
For “A Conversation With A$AP Rocky,” Flacko will sit down with Jeff “Chairman” Mao to discuss his influences in music and fashion and how he became one hip-hop’s acclaimed artists. The event will take place on May 7th. Tickets have not gone on sale yet.

Then weeks later, he turned heads at the Sundance Music Festival after his appearance in the film, Dope. He’s currently working on his sophomore album, which will be executive produced by Juicy J.

Waka Flocka Flame has cancelled an upcoming performance at the University of Oklahoma after a hateful video of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity chanting a racist rhyme went viral. In the short clip, members are heard chanting “There will never be a n—–r in S-A-E!/You can hang him from a tree, but he can never sign with me//There will never be a n—-r in SAE” on a bus. After Waka caught wind of this video, he took to his Instagram to cancel his performance, which was going to be at an event with that very chapter of the organization.
“SMFH.. I know for a fact the whole school and SAE don’t agree with those kids actions so know that I’m not madd at the whole #SAE just those disgusting kids!!!!!!#WFF We can’t change history but we damn sure can create our own future #DeathToRacism,” he wrote in his caption.
The performance was scheduled for Apr. 25th.
This would not have been the first event the “Hard In The Paint” rapper has performed at with the frat. A YouTube video shows him performing at one of their events back in May 2014.
“Let our decision weld a platform of conversation rather than raise the brows of anger among those who share our distaste and disgust from such a video,” said the president of Waka’s management team Brick Bronson in a press release. “This was not a disciplinary action on the innocent students, nor among the guilty that share such wayward thoughts, but a collective reminder of the stain in which remains.”
I am sure you thought it was somebody like Beanie Sigel! Nah! I hope Beans is doing well, but I heard it was somebody else. Ever heard the name AMIL? She was the first lady of the Roc before Beyonce came along. I heard she is going to make another run for the money in rap. Here is a a flash back of sorts!
Amil, Beanie Sigel, Memphis Bleek and Jay-Z – “4 Da Fam”
(AllHipHop News) Hip Hop icon Snoop Dogg,R&B songstress Jhené Aiko, and rapper/singer Aloe Blacc have joined other celebrities for the #ImUnloading campaign. The participating musicians, athletes, and tech entrepreneurs are calling on the public to remove their 401K investments from the gun industry.
Unload Your 401K teamed with No Guns Allowed to launch the campaign. Snoop has been working with the anti-violence movement around the country. The Doggystyle album creator also released a song titled “No Guns Allowed” featuring Drake and Cori B.
“How I’ve been affected by gun violence over the years is through deaths of friends and family members and associates,” states Snoop in a public service announcement for the campaign. “I’m unloading for the loved ones that I’ve lost.”
NBA player Matt Barnes, NFL player Bobby Wagner, The League Of Young Voters‘ Dr. Biko Baker, and actress Margot Bingham appear in the video as well. The goal of the #ImUnloading campaign is to bring awareness to the fact many 401K plans help finance the gun industry and hopefully convince people to divest from those companies.
“There is a straight line from gun industry investment to gun industry profits to funding of the NRA,” states Jennifer Fiore, executive director of Campaign to Unload. “Half the value of these companies comes from mutual funds and most of the ‘investors’ in these funds have no idea they are inadvertently part of the problem. Now they can be part of the solution.”

(AllHipHop News) More details about the Suge Knight hit-and-run case continue to trickle out. Yesterday, TMZ released surveillance video of Knight’s hitting Terry Carter and Cle “Bone” Sloan with his truck. There was speculation the video showed Sloan with a gun, but his manager is claiming the item in Sloan’s hand at the time was a walkie-talkie.
The manager says Bone did not threaten Suge’s life and there was no reason why Suge couldn’t have just made a clean exit down the street rather than roaring back into the Tam’s parking lot.
Police sources relayed to the site that they believe Sloan was unarmed. Authorities have also stated they agree Knight could have left the scene without running down the victims.
Suge may have another problem when it comes to his defense. TMZ uploaded footage from 2012 which showed Suge Knight and comedian Katt Williams getting into a fight outside a club in Hollywood. At the end of the clip, Suge can be seen driving his white SUV through a crowd of people.
At least one person was reportedly hit during that incident. Prosecutors could try to use the video as evidence that Knight has a history of using his vehicle as a weapon.
(AllHipHop News) After celebrating Shady Records’ 15th anniversary last year with the Shady XV compilation album, Eminem is dropping another super collection this week. The Detroit emcee posted a video to Instagram of a box set titled The Vinyl LPs. The caption for the clip simply reads, “Thursday.”
Amazon prices the 10-LP box set at $260. The listing does not include a description of which projects will be included in the package. Throughout his career Eminem has released eight solo albums as well as the 8 mile soundtrack, The Re-Up compilation, and two LPs with the group D12.
(AllHipHop News) Easy Mo Bee may not have gotten the same level of acknowledgement on a mainstream level as other 1990’s producers, but Hip Hop heads recognize what the Brooklyn representative has done for the culture, particularly his work with The Notorious B.I.G.
Mo Bee also provided production for 2Pac’s Me Against The World. The legend sat down with Revolt to discuss his contribution to Pac’s third album which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this week. According to Easy, 2Pac reached out to him for tracks.
“He said, ‘I Like the stuff you did on Big’s album. I love that ‘Party and Bulls**t.’ When he said that I was bugging,” stated Mo Bee. “Because he’s from the West Coast. They got a whole different vibe.”
Mo Bee thought the tracks he produced with the Pac would all be for Me Against the World, but Pac split the songs between his solo LP, the Thug Life: Volume 1 group album, and The Show soundtrack.
Apparently, Biggie wanted those Mo Bee tracks for himself. The Bad Boy rhyme spitter approached Easy and spoke to him about missing out on the cuts that eventually became 2Pac’s “If I Die 2Nite” and “Temptations.”
“He stood next to me and said, ‘Mo, you’re wrong. You know you were supposed give me them Pac joints,'” said Easy before laughing. “[Biggie said,] ‘You know nothing gets passed me.'”
(AllHipHop News) After dropping several mixtapes and recording songs with Rich Gang, Rich Homie Quan is looking to release his debut studio album this spring. The 25-year-old Atlanta native is ready for the world to hear new music from him, but he also took time to reflect back on some of the artists that inspired him.
During an interview with Montreality, Quan spoke about his appreciation for his hometown’s legendary group OutKast. Last year, RHQ even stated he and frequent rhyming partner Young Thug were the hardest duo since Big Boi and Andre 3000.
“OutKast is a big influence on why I rap. OutKast is a big influence on Atlanta in general,” says Quan. “I’m glad they got back together to do the tour. That was big to me.”
Besides the southern rap representatives, Rich Homie also took inspiration from an artist from up north. Even though he is not officially signed to Cash Money, the “Type of Way” rapper names Drake as one of his musical influences as well.
“Drake’s one of the best, one of my idols,” added Quan.
We have to say it’s awesome to see Faith Evans and Lil’ Kim getting along for the sake of being grown women and in the name of the late Notorious B.I.G. Even though one would expect Faith to be mad at Lil’ Kim’s past sidechick role, it’s kind of intriguing to know that Faith is calm about the whole situation, and has moved on some time ago. Evans even told the Breakfast club in a nonchalant manner that she knew about Biggie and Kim’s affair. When Diddy and Snoop Dogg hosted the Puff Daddy and Snoop Dogg and friends concert during All Star weekend, Faith took to her social media to say Lil’ Kim was doing her thang on stage and what’s beef. Lil’ Kim replied today on the anniversary of BIG’s death saying “thank u Faith for the beautiful words u said to me. Happy B.I.G. day! #BiggieDay forever.”
Cryptic or Nah? Remember there recently was a rumor going around that Diddy was allegedly suing Empire because it somehow was based on his life. The rumor sparked a lot of interesting questions like did Puffy kill BIG, was Bad Boy funded by drug money, and which one of Diddy’s sons would be gay. Just a lot of laughs really. Well recently Christian Combs, Diddy’s youngest son, took to his Instagram to post a picture of him and his brothers with the caption “Empire”. This brought out some funny comments such as “So Quincy is crazy, Justin is gay, and you the rapper.” At least these guys are living the real “Empire” Life though. What are your thoughts?
