What is the Black Agenda?

power of 9Whenever I hear someone make the statement, “What is the Black Agenda?” I get really p#####. Especially if it’s another black person. There are leaders and political operatives who continue to ask ‘what is the black agenda?’ as though the game plan for black progress has changed the last 100 years or so.

I was at a recent luncheon when a nationally celebrated elected official, who I think is very smart, progressive and works hard on behalf of black people… and their agenda. And the conversation was about our current president and his agenda for black people… his people. So, I respectfully asked this Congressman, why do people like Rev. Sharpton, Ben Jealous and Marc Morial, whom he know well, keep talking about the need to take the Obama’s administration the ‘black Agenda.’ Aren’t those gentlemen black? President Barack Obama is also black, correct? And haven’t these men in mention fought the fight for black people the last 40 years, collectively?

So with that said, they should have the black game plan within them. They’ve lived through it. They’ve felt the affects of not being represented from past actions. And it probably was the same ‘Negro Agenda’ when they where young hustlers. So why do they keep asking such a stupid question, over and over again? And not only is the question stupid, they act like black folks don’t have a clue what the ‘black agenda’ is, so therefore, how can black folks take their concerns and issues to the White House. WOW!

I wonder if white America is asking the same question within their community? Hey Baby Boo Boo, what is the damn ‘white agenda?’ Their agenda is the same as the ‘black agenda, ‘the ‘asian agenda,’ ‘the ‘hispanic agenda’ and every other race of people in this country who has an America agenda for their community.

Economic development, staple and progressive communities with unlimited educational opportunities. This is the American agenda, regardless race, creed, color or sex. Our agendas are so much alike, except, white America has a different way in which they exercise their demand for an agenda. The difference between the ‘white agenda’ is that whites aspire for economic dominance, private and exclusive communities, for the most part. While everybody else just wants a simple slice of the America dream to survive and live collectively in peace and harmony.

TRUTH Be Told: White America has no problem with black folks or any other race climbing up the latter to prosperity, as long as they don’t try and knock them off the latter in the process. And even if other races climb high and fast, whites will only add new steps to the latter that goes higher and in a different direction. So as far as they’re concern, it’s like adding new jobs. You’re not gonna take their jobs because they would just create more work/jobs to handle their ‘white agenda.’

It’s called moving the goal post. When the playing field becomes even and others have progressed, whites in control, almost, always change the course. (See Tiger Woods – they designed new courses to challenge his dominance on an even playing field). This way, no one can ever really catch them. So therefore, you’ll always playing with or against your own racial peers. And in relations to black folks, you’re beating up each other trying to get to a place you’ll never get to.

On another theme of the ‘black agenda.’ I don’t wanna hear potential elected officials running for office or an incumbent doing commercials that talks about crime and violence. STOP trying to put fear in voters! Crime and violence is a by-product of loss wages and high unemployment, which equals communities in despair.

TRUTH Be Told: Candidates, make your slick infomercials and campaign slogans about the need for economic development and JOBS in poor, dysfunctional communities. Give speeches about creating businesses and establishing companies in wards or districts you’re looking to represent- and crime will decrease. That’s what the ‘black agenda’ is; always has been, always will be! Peace and One Love.

(AllHipHop News) Over the last 20+ years, Bun B has evolved from simply a rapper to a proverbial godfather of the South. After Lil Boosie’s press conference, the Trill OG talked EXCLUSIVELY with AllHipHop about how he plans to protect Lil Boosie from himself, the Hip Hop police, a possible collaboration album between the two and more.

Bun states that Boosie’s return to music comes secondary to his readjustment to “normalcy” after leaving prison.

Boosie finna come home and take a lot of n*ggas’ spots. Take a lot of people’s money. You know what I’m saying? So he’s going to have some haters that want to see a brother violate. Try to put him in a position to violate. We as his brothers got to stand tall and make sure that we can the snakes coming and keep them away from the brother.

During our interview he acknowledged that that those same Hip Hop police will be watching Boosie and that the person they need to protect Boosie from is himself:

It’s just important for us to protect him from himself. You know..not…you know, he been gone for a while. So there’s been a couple of different that be going on. Some things he might not be hip to. We got to make sure to protect that brother from that.

Bun makes sure to say that everyone around him needs to be focused and “can’t come around doing things around him that we do by ourselves, because he’ll fall victim to 0ur problems.”

Kanye West Names Some Of The People Behind Coinye In Lawsuit

While Amazon is no longer part of the suit, others like Ian Craig (aka Jonny Bravo) allegedly of coinyecasino.com and Alex Cacciamani allegedly of coinye-exchange.com are now included. The new defendants are located across the planet in various countries including United States, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Slovakia, and China.

Jay Z’s Sports Agent Competitors Suggest He Uses Unethical Practices

(AllHipHop News) Jay Z’s meteoric rise as a sports agent has others in the industry complaining about his practices. Does Roc Nation Sport’s competition have legitimate complaints? Or are they just feeling the heat as Jay continues to pull in high-profile athletes like Robinson Cano, Kevin Durant, CC Sabathia, and Victor Cruz?

[ALSO READ: Jay Z & Kanye West To Perform During Samsung’s SXSW Concert Series]

Forbes published excerpts from a recent Marquette Sports Law Review titled “Jay Z Has 99 Problems, And Being A Sports Agent May Be One.” The article lays out some of the grievances other agencies have expressed both publicly and behind closed doors.

Most of the complaints are just speculation. For example, they question whether Jay is guilty of tortious interference by attempting to “poach” athletes already signed to other agents and not disclosing that communication. The article suggests that rivals like Scott Boras (Cano’s former agent) and Rob Pelinka (Durant’s former agent) could sue Jay for interfering with a contractual relationship.

The piece goes on to question whether Jay violated players’ associations’ regulations by signing clients before being officially certified. It later points out other agent’s concerns that the Hip Hop mogul has engaged in unethical behavior.

“Jay Z is by no means the only agent to raise such suspicion, but due to his worldwide fame, the suspicion surrounding him quickly becomes headline news,” states the article. “Whether Jay Z’s actions are actually a violation of any code of ethics is not necessarily clear, but some of his actions definitely have agents, media, and others complaining of unfair play.”

What is at this point just innuendo and suspicion has not stopped Jay and Roc Nation Sports from continuing to add major players to its growing roster. The agency recently signed New York Giants’ Hakeem Nicks.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Did Suge Knight Stop His Ex’s Book!?

Last Fall, Suge Knight’s ex finance revealed that she was going to write a book about their life together. Storney Ramdhan was all set and got MAD press in the blogs. But, what happened to the book called “My Life With The Knight?”

Here is a behind the scenes video, before I carry on.

BTS “My Life With the Knight” from William Rouse on Vimeo.

Stormey has maintained that the former Death Row honcho has abandoned the whole family – her and the kids – for whatever else is out there in the streets. And, therefore, she decided to write a book. So, there was a massive press push last year and a release date of February 2014. But February came can went. The website has not been updated and the publisher has no evidence of this book coming out. That is the research that I did prior to revealing what my source has told me. BASICALLY, (re-read the headline) I heard that Suge Knight got at somebody up at the publishing house to stop that s**t cold turkey. Now there is no evidence of it coming out now. My source says its iron clad info, but I am not so so sure. Still, when Suge was on Arsenio, he sure was intimidating still.

Bun B Explains Mentioning Nelson Mandela During Lil Boosie’s Press Conference

(AllHipHop News) Bun B had some listeners confused, others angered after his statements during Lil Boosie’s post-prison press conference earlier this week. The southern rap legend mentioned the late Nelson Mandela during his remarks about Boosie’s recent release from prison.

[ALSO READ: Lil Boosie Talks Writing Over 1000 Songs In Prison & Discovering New Technology After Release]

“You’d be surprised to see how many people don’t want to see a young, black man come from prison and succeed,” stated Bun at the press conference. “When you keep it one hundred with the people, the people will wait as long as possible to stand up for you. They waited years for Mandela. They waited years for Pimp C. They waited for Pac, and they waited for Boosie.”

The Breakfast Club’s Charlamagne Tha God was prepared to give Bun the “Donkey of the Day” for his statement, but the emcee called into the radio station to discuss the controversy.

“People think that I’m comparing Boosie to Mandela which is ridiculous. There’s no comparison if we’re looking at it in that sense,” explains Bun. “What I’m doing is basically laying out how Mandela was not popular in his country at his time that he went to jail. His people stood up for him and waited for him to come to celebrate his release. That’s all I was saying.”

“I’m not saying that Boosie finna win a Nobel Prize or anything,” adds Bun. “[Boosie] is a ghetto revolutionary. I have reason to believe that if Boosie comes home and says the right things right now there’s a lot of hoods in America that may calm down a little bit.”

Schoolboy Q: I Wish TDE Never Signed With Interscope Records (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Schoolboy Q is either experiencing major label growing pains or may have some regrets about his rap career.

In an interview with Hartford, Conneticut’s Hot 93.7, Q states that TDE no longer does mixtapes and instead only commercially released albums. Q then goes on to say tha he “did wrong by signing a rap contract”:

I’m not talking about TDE, but how we ventured off with the majors. I wish we would have still stayed indie. I don’t care about being on like 100 radios or s### like that. I love Interscope, but I wish I could have just stayed with TDE.

In a recent interview with Grantland, writer Amos Barshad stated that Interscope’s desire for radio-ready singles is what led to Oxymoron‘s delay:

He’d planned on only one radio-friendly song on the album, jamming the rest of the track list with his raw goods. But Interscope demanded three singles before he could get the green light — which, perhaps, is why it’s taken more than two years sinceHabits & Contradictions for Oxymoron to see release

EXCLUSIVE: Master P Disappointed With Lil Boosie For Getting On Song With C-Murder

(AllHipHop News) Yesterday (March 10th), Boosie and C-Murder’s collaboartion “Came 2 Da Can” was released hours before Boosie’s press conference and everyone heard it…including Master P. Today (March 11th), Master P sent a statement EXCLUSIVELY to AllHipHop addressing his disappointment in Boosie for appearing on the song.

Check out the full press release

“I want to see Lil Boosie get a second chance and take over this Hip Hop
game as a Louisiana street artist but getting on that song with C was
disappointing. Honestly, the beat was wack and outdated. He gotta know that
C has a problem and we’re dealing with family issues. I’ve always put C and
family first. It’s funny when I seen the press conference and Boosie talked
about doing a project with C but he said it would be “down the line”
because he got “bigger business to do” like take care of his family. And I
respect that. But I’ve made C a priority while taking care of all of our
families in good and bad times, but he got more love for his friends. My
grandfather told me, “If you don’t have a dollar, you don’t got a friend” I
told C that you shouldn’t be putting out negative music while you’re
fighting a life sentence. They’re going to use those words against you. I
taught him the music business, it is sad to hear him talk negative about
his family and take advise from people who are in it to just get what they
can get from him even while he is incarcerated. I love my brother but at
times he can be ungrateful and disrespectful. I didn’t look at the record
as being a diss, i thought it was more hilarious, like a comedy then
gangsta rap.

I’ve spent millions of dollars towards his legal fees in
fighting all of his cases. Even when I’ve told him, “No”, I still came
through. If that isn’t love, I don’t know what is. I’m not God, I can’t
break somebody out of jail. I wasn’t at the club with him that night, he
put himself in that predicament, he just beat two cases before that, in
which I paid for and supported. It’s funny how when I say “Yes” 99 times
it’s all love but I say “No” once, then it’s all hate. I know he’s innocent
but he needs to grow up and face reality. He chose to put his friends over
his family and his freedom. Why isn’t he angry with them, none of them
turned themselves in, only testified against him, nobody else gave him a
dollar for his case, visit him in the can or put money on his books. I’m
the on that should be upset but I’m not, I never received a birthday card,
Christmas card, belt, wallet or anything; not even a thank you.”

“As a man, we have to be responsible for our own actions. I realize this
is not about love, this is about money. And this often happens to families
that are dealing with relatives with addictions, lack of education and
financial literacy. I was taught that wise man learns but a fool never
will.” At the end of the day, all family fuss and fight but when it get
real only your family gon be there for you. I’ve been dealing with this
for 10 years now with C, but never really responded to it. It’s just a
sad day for our family, It hurts but this shouldn’t be media gossip.

“God gives His strongest soldiers the toughest battles. Today, I’m
growing up as a man, I will no longer enable immature, unappreciative
people in my life, even if they’re family. The money that I was sending to
lawyers, instead I’ll continue to donate and help even more underprivileged
kids that would appreciate my love and support. I forgive C, I hope my
brother will pick up a bible, I will always love him and keep him in
prayer. Just to keep it 100, I would never do a song with Webbie talking
bad about Boosie even if we has just mad at him. I got love for the lil
homies and I want to see them do well. Nobody is perfect, we all got issues
we’re dealing with. I can’t change people, I can only change me. And I’m
going to continue doing what’s right. There is no limit to what you can do
when you put God first, educate yourself and grow up. This is just
motivation to me, the devil can’t stop what God has planned for The Miller
Dynasty… No Limit Forever.”

It shouldn’t be us against us, it should be us against the world. Look at
the love i have in my heart, on my new record “Let it Happen Twice” from
“Return of the Ice Cream Man”

“Im Screaming Free C Murder
MyBrother Innocent Homie, I Dont Mess with you Haters, Cause Most You Haters
Be Phony, I Say Love Your Hitter, Hug Your Hitter, When Boosie Touchdown We
Gon Flood These Rivers”

[ALSO CHECK OUT: C-Murder Says He Doesn’t Love Master P On “Came 2 Da Can” W/ Lil Boosie]

C-Murder has accused Master P of not visiting him, hurting his criminal case and not providing support and on the song says he does not love his brother anymore. According to P, it was “disappointing” to hear Boosie appear on the song which was dissing P and reasserts that he has been helping his brother:

I want to see Lil Boosie get a second chance and take over this Hip Hop game as a Louisiana street artist but getting on that song with C was disappointing. Honestly, the beat was wack and outdated. He gotta know that C has a problem and we’re dealing with family issues. I’ve always put C and family first. It’s funny when I seen the press conference and Boosie talked about doing a project with C but he said it would be ‘down the line’ because he got ‘bigger business to do’ like take care of his family. And I respect that. But I’ve made C a priority while taking care of all of our families in good and bad times, but he got more love for his friends.

P even goes on to say he “would never do a song with Webbie talking bad about Boosie even if we has just mad at him.” P maintains that he has warned his brother about making negative music with a pending murder case as it could be used against him in court, ironically, similar to Boosie in 2012 with the Terry Boyd murder:

I love my brother but at times he can be ungrateful and disrespectful. I’ve spent millions of dollars towards his legal fees in fighting all of his cases. Even when I’ve told him, “No”, I still came through. If that isn’t love, I don’t know what is. I’m not God, I can’t break somebody out of jail. I wasn’t at the club with him that night, he put himself in that predicament, he just beat two cases before that, in
which I paid for and supported.

P states he has no ill will towards his brother or Boosie and references the lyrics to his song “Let It Happen Twice” off his recent mixtape The Gift (The Return of the Ice Cream Man) as evidence.
