A Kentucky man who was serving six years in prison for burglary and five for criminal possession of a forged instrument turned himself back into jail after escaping, because he said it was too cold outside.
According to AP, the inmate escaped from a minimum security facility in Lexington on Sunday. As temperatures dropped into the low single digits Monday, he walked into a motel and told the clerk to call the police.
The 42-year-old man revealed that he wanted to go back to jail to escape the frigid weather. He was found wearing the standard prison uniform of khaki pants, a shirt, and he was also wearing a jacket.
There are no further reports on what penalty he’ll face for breaking out.
(AllHipHop News) Def Jam Records is having a pretty busy start of the year. A day after Young Jeezy was arrested for allegedly imprisoning, assaulting and threatening his son, The-Dream announced today on his Instagram account that he is leaving Def Jam Records.
In a move he is deeming his “exodus”, The Dream took to his personal Instagram account to announce his departure from Def Jam Records:

The-Dream has been signed on Def Jam Records since 2007 and reflected on the five projects he’s released while signed by posting pictures and commentary of them on his Instagram account. Interestingly, he calls his 2010 album LoveKing “unappreciated and unfinished”. LoveKing posted The-Dream’s second lowest 1st week total of 58,000 copies sold, which was only surpassed by his final album on Def Jam, IV Play which sold 28,000 copies in its opening week.

(AllHipHop News) As evidenced by his last second three pointer during the 2013 NBA Finals, Ray Allen still has game. According to the two-time NBA champion and three point shooting legend, him and director Spike Lee are in talks to make a sequel to He Got Game.
While Allen is admittedly skeptical of movie sequels as a whole, he informed ESPN if the right script and story could make all his skepticism fade away:
But it’s something we’ve been talking about for the last couple months. If we get a really good story line and are able to bring everybody back, then it would be something worth doing.
In the classic 1998 film, Allen plays top ranked NBA prospect Jesus Shuttlesworth with Denzel Washington playing his father, Jake Shuttlesworth. Last December, Lee posted a picture of Ray Allen’s Miami Heat specialty jersey with his Jesus Shuttlesworth name on the back. Allen will wear the custom jersey for the first time this Friday (January 10th) against the Brooklyn Nets.
Take a quick look back to the past with the original trailer for He Got Game from 1998:
People just won’t let Kim Kardashian and her recent slew of attention seeking booty selfies live. Her post baby body looks great but photoshop aficionados are saying that Kimmie Cakes may have photoshopped her body. Suspicions were sparked by the latest photos Kim K released following a workout session with her friend Blac Chyna
Radar Online caught up with photoshop master and Instagram celebrity Peejet, who got popular for his funny Photoshop art, and he told Radar that the curved doorframe in Kim’s pics is a dead giveaway.
“Now, before I begin, I must say this is all purely speculative, [since] I actually heard Kanye [West] might have brought curved doors to Ikea over six years ago,” he told the site. “In the first pic, which I’ll call the Booty Pic, I have diagrammed with a red line how the door should look if it was a normal, straight-edged door. You can definitely see a gap at the same level as Kim’s chest. This would be caused by using a tool to expand her breasts.”
“There also seems to be a more subtle distortion on the floor,” Peeje continues. “The underlying red line shows how the tiles should be where the blue line follow the actual markings on the floor. You might notice how it follows the same contortion as Kim’s waist and hips.”
“In the second pic, which I’ll call the Stomach Pic, you will notice the door curves out at Kim’s midsection,” Peeje explains, which would occur if she pulled in her waistline.
It’s not such a far-fetched idea considering how starved Kim is for attention and because she admitted how hurt she was when people ridiculed her for gaining weight during pregnancy (which is stupid on the critics’ part).
This is all speculation but it’s sad if she did actually photoshop her pics. Low self-esteem can be a beast.
In related news, Peejet’s Instagram pics are hilarious. I highly recommend you check them out.

(AllHipHop News) Some fans of the late R&B singer Aaliyah may be sadden by the latest news concerning another reported project from the “One In A Million” perfomer. Others may be rejoicing. Either case, it appears the long talked about Aaliyah/Drake collaborative album produced by Noah “40” Shebib has been canned.
40 tells Vibe magazine he decided to pull out of the project after the negative feedback from die-hard Aaliyah followers. Many fans of “Baby Girl” were not supportive of the 2012 Drake-featured track “Enough Said” nor the fact that Timbaland, the man who produced many of Aaliyah’s hits, was not involved in the album. 40 reveals that it was also Aaliyah’s mother’s request that the project not go forward that sealed the deal on the cancellation.

40 to Vibe:
The world reacting to Drake’s involvement so negatively, I just wanted nothing to do with it. That was a very sad experience for me. I was naïve to the politics surrounding Aaliyah’s legacy and a bit ignorant to Timbaland’s relationship and everybody else involved and how they’d feel. Tim said to me “Don’t stop, make the album.” I think that was Tim taking the position of, “I’m not going to stop you. If you’re not going to do it, that’s your decision.” But ultimately, I wasn’t comfortable and didn’t like the stigma. We released [“Enough Said”], but I was seven songs deep. [Aaliyah’s] mother saying “I don’t want this out” was enough for me. I walked away very quickly.
40 says he was originally brought into the process by Aaliyah’s uncle Barry Hankerson and her cousin Jomo Hankerson. The father-son duo own Blackground Records; the label that released Aaliyah’s music. Drake later asked 40 if he could participate in the album.
