Joe Budden Announces New Album & EP

(AllHipHop News) New Jersey’s own Joe Budden announced on Twitter that two new solo projects from the Slaughterhouse member are on the way later this year. The Love & Hip Hop star dropped his last album, No Love Lost, in February and plans to return with the Some Love Lost EP and All Love Lost LP before 2014.

The hashtag “MoodGodBack” suggests that the latest EP and album will resemble Budden’s heralded Mood Muzik series. Joey also made it clear that despite the titles these projects will not be geared toward his reality show watchers.

Budden has also been in the news a lot lately surrounding his online and musical responses to Kendrick Lamar’s verse on Big Sean’s “Control” which led to Joey Bada$$ and Trinidad James responding to the response.

Drake Sued By Former Stylist Over Unpaid Fees

(AllHipHop News) Stylist Michael Raphael is suing his former employer Young Money rapper Drake for $76,490 according to TMZ. Raphael claims Drake owes him $39,583 in consulting fees which included styling, photography, and graphic design for Drake’s OVO.

The remaining $37,000 in the lawsuit is to cover other expenses Raphael spent on Drake’s behalf. Raphael says Drake was supposed to reimburse him for hotel bills, plane tickets, rental of a Toronto apartment, and shopping costs like a $1,162 Nike bill and $1,483 spent at Diesel.

Raphael is the owner of the Rest Store boutique in New York City. He was hired by Drake in August of 2012 to consult the entertainer on styling choices which included his American Music Awards appearance in November and the A$AP Rocky “F*ckin’ Problems” video shoot.

Raphael states that Drake paid him for his services from August to November, but he never received payment for his work in December. The lawsuit was filed in Manhattan Supreme Court.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Johnny Gill Beat Up By Racist, Drunk White Man!!!

Oh my my my. This is just crazy. Johnny Gill is an R&B legend. I heard he’s filing a lawsuit against a hotel in Los Angeles, after some drunk white dude beat his ass. Johnny was just chilling at the bar in 2011, having a few drinks, when some drunk dumb ass came up to him and started calling him racial names. Johnny isn’t a punk so he told the dude to beat it. But the guy wouldn’t leave it alone and pushed Johnny against one of those heat lamps, and gave him a few of those “perfect combinations.” To make matters worse, the security at the hotel was so scary that they refused to intervene. It made Johnny miss a bunch of shows and now he wants a million from the hotel. He either filed the lawsuit or is about to file it.

GET IT TOGETHER MIKE!

This isn’t funny and it isn’t even a rumor. I thought Mike Tyson was doing great, since he just launched a new company called Iron Mike Productions. AllHipHop.com even got an inside look at the operation, which has already promoted it’s first fight on August 23 at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino. But now news is breaking that Mike is still all messed up on drugs. And from what he said it’s serious. “I don’t wanna die. I’m on the verge of dying because I’m a vicious alcoholic,” Mike said during a press conference ESPN said. Mike said he’s only been sober SIX days so lets hope he can chill out. “I’ve been lying to everybody else that think I was sober, but I’m not. This is my sixth day. I’m never gonna use again.” OK Mike, we are with you.
