Hip-Hop Rumors Exclusive: A 50 Cent Sex Tape? You Won’t Believe With Who.

I’m going to assume this rumor is new, but there is a possibility that its not. And, I just didn’t want to know. There is a rumor that there is a 50 Cent sex tape out in circulation. Now, people may ask, “Why hasn’t this come out?” I’m hearing the tape was a part of a legal proceeding. “What legal proceeding?” Deion and Pilar Sanders. I’ve only lightly been keeping up with that. But there has been one question that burned. “How did he get custody of the kids?”
That’s where this 50 Cent sex tape rumor comes in. The word I am getting is that because of the sex tape, Deion was able to get some form of legal advantage over her. Seems like it was pure and simple adultery.
Additionally, the rumor is she’s dating SLIM from Cash Money now. Just yesterday it was up for grabs (Baby or Slim), but now the rumors have narrowed it down to Slim.
After a long week of lame rumors, this one stands on its own two feet.

Beyonce Debuts New Timbaland-Produced Song “Grown Woman” In Pepsi Ad
(AllHipHop News) The Carter family has no idea what the word “stop” means. After instructing the world to #BeyHereNow in a teaser video yesterday (April 3rd), Beyonce returns in all her glory for a new Pepsi Ad.

In the Pepsi Ad, Beyonce is surrounded by mirror images of herself from past videos such as “Single Ladies”, “Bootylicious” and “Crazy In Love”. While she perfectly matches their movements, the Timbaland-produced record “Grown Woman” plays throughout.
No release date for her 5th solo album has been confirmed.

The Great Gatsby Tracklisting Revealed, Andre 3000, Beyonce + New Jay-Z Song Included
(AllHipHop News) The Jay-Z executive produced soundtrack for the upcoming The Great Gatsby film has finally been revealed and it Mr. Carter proves his all-star artist connections.

The joint announcement was made by Warner Bros Pictures and Interscope Records. Included in the soundtrack are Will.I.Am, Q-Tip, breakout sensation Goteye and a vast array of notable musicians. Beyonce and Andre 3000’s cover of the late Amy Winehouse’s heart-wrenching classic “Back To Black” and a new Jay-Z song entitled “100$ Bill” are prominent highlights. Beyonce will not just be covering songs but having one of her own be repurposed for this soundtrack. Scottish singer songwriter Emile Sande and The Bryan Ferry Orchestra have covered Beyonce’s first solo hit, “Crazy In Love” for the soundtrack.
The first single for the soundtrack will be Lana Del Rey’s melodically dark track “Young and Beautiful” which will be released on April 23rd. The song’s music video is set to premiere on April 22nd.
The deluxe edition will add two extra songs to the 15 song tracklisting (which also includes The Throne’s “No Church In The Wild”). The album is available for digital pre-order on April 23rd and the deluxe version will be released on May 7th with Target and Target.com as its exclusive U.S. retailers. Internationally, all forms of the album will be released on May 6th.

JT Likely To Stay At #1 For 3rd Week; Tyler, The Creator Set For Top 10 Debut
(AllHipHop News) Justin Timberlake’s triumphant comeback doesn’t seem to be slowing down. After pushing 968,000 units of his 3rd album, The 20/20 Experience, in its opening week and 318,000 copies in its second week, Billboard is reporting that Timberlake is on track to sell another 150,000 to 170,000 this week.
That total would keep the former *N SYNC member in the top spot on the Billboard 200 album chart for the third consecutive week.
This would be the first time an album by a male artist would have remained at number one for its opening three weeks of release since Eminem’s Recovery in the summer of 2010.
The 20/20 Experience is the first overall three-peater since Red by Taylor Swift achieved the feat twice in late 2012/early 2013.

20/20 was boosted by the Timbaland produced hit single “Suit &Tie” featuring Jay-Z which is currently at #3 on The Hot 100. Timberlake’s second single “Mirrors” is climbing the chart as well. The song is right outside the top 10 in the #11 spot.
Odd Future’s Tyler, The Creator is ready to join Justin in the top ten on the album chart next week. His latest LP Wolf is expected to sell between 75,000 and 80,000 copies.
If those numbers hold up, this would be a jump from the first week sales of his Goblin album released in 2011. That album sold 45,000 copies in its first week which landed Tyler at #5 on Billboard’s chart.
The OFWGKTA frontman upped the ante on guest appearances on his latest LP. Wolf features contributions from Frank Ocean, Lætitia Sadier, Pharrell Williams, and Erykah Badu.

Kanye West, Pharrell, & 18 Other Artists To Take Part In Bape’s 20th Anniversary
(AllHipHop News) Japanese clothing company Bathing Ape is celebrating its 20th year of existence in 2013, and one way the street wear brand is marking this accomplishment is by tapping 20 artists, including Kanye West and Pharrell Williams, to create their own Bape designs that will be featured on canvasses and t-shirts.
The limited edition products will debut at the T-SITE Garden Gallery TSUTAYA located in Daikanyama, Tokyo on April 27th for a three-day run. Bathing Ape is then planning to release the 20th Anniversary designs at their worldwide stores.
Bape currently has locations in New York City, London, Hong Kong, Beijing, Taiwan, Paris, Singapore, Seoul, Shanghai, and throughout Japan.
The fashion line was started in 1993 by Japanese DJ/Producer Nigo. Nigo is also a co-owner of the Billionaire Boys Club line with Pharrell.
Pharrell and Bathing Ape have a long history together. The Hip-Hop producer played a big role in introducing the brand to the American market in the mid-2000’s when he and his label signees Clipse began sporting and rapping about Bape.

Kanye has also embraced Bathing Ape wearing the gear in his videos and even admitting he begged Bape to do his line.

Pharrell and Ye will be joined by other artists like Nigo, Futura, James Lavelle, Show Ayanocozey, Mankey, and Takashi Kumagai.
XXL 2013 Freshmen Class All Set For The Monster Energy Outbreak Tour
(AllHipHop News) XXL is teaming with Monster Energy drink to present the “The Energy Outbreak Tour.” The multi-city showcase will feature all of the emcees selected as part of the Hip-Hop magazine’s 2013 Freshman Class.
The final choices for this year’s class were announced late last month. Ab-Soul, Action Bronson, Angel Haze, Dizzy Wright, Joey Bada$$, Kirko Bangz, Logic, Schoolboy Q, Travi$ Scott, Trinidad James, and the “11th Freshman” Chief Keef all made the final cut, and now the rising rappers will join together for a special performance on May 21st at the Best Buy Theater in New York City.

The rest of the tour will have select freshmen at each stop as well as former XXL Freshmen Class alum. For example, Mississippi’s Big K.R.I.T. from the 2011 class will appear at the May 1st show at Philadelphia’s Trocadero Theatre.
The only other date announced so far is a May 18th Nokia Theatre performance in Los Angeles with Black Hippy members Ab-Soul and Schoolboy Q. The L.A. emcees will be joined by New York based rapper Action Bronson.
Additional dates will be announced in the future with more special guests to be included.
Tickets for the Monster Energy Tour will be available through ticketmaster.

Drake Gets Into Paintball Fight With Kevin Hart
(AllHipHop News) Drake got into another fight with a celebrity involving projectiles and feuding crews. This time the Take Care MC squares off against Kevin Hart during one of Hart’s stops in Toronto on his Let Me Explain tour.
Moral of the story: Drake has shooters and those shooters have paintballs.
Hart is planning to release a movie of his sold out Madison Square Garden show from the tour in July. Drake’s anticipated follow up to 2011’s Take Care is slated to be released later this year.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Who’s Next In Jay-Z’s Athletic Arsenal?
Jay-Z is moving into sports and well, it seems like he’s looking to take over a whole different sort of game. So, you already know the reports, right?
Well, the most recent rumor – per ESPN – is that Jay-Z is looking to sign The NY Giant Victor Cruz. You know, the Salsa Man? Yep. You probably already know that he’s been affiliated with Jay-Z for some time now, throwing up the Roc sign after scoring a touch down. Here is what the report says.
When scoring touchdowns, Cruz not only did his trademark salsa dance but he also started flashing the Roc hand sign (using both hands to form a diamond) last season. The wide receiver politely said he couldn’t talk about it whenever asked, but a source said during the season Cruz was indeed going to eventually be a part of some sort of partnership with Jay-Z, who’s latest sports venture is Roc Nation Sports. Cruz flashing the Roc sign was his way of letting people know he was down with the Roc family and Jay-Z.
While the only thing that has been made official thus far is Cruz joining Creative Artists Agency (CAA), ESPN’s Adam Schefter has confirmed media reports that Cruz will be a part of the new Roc Nation/CAA venture. Cruz recently hired CAA’s Tom Condon to represent him and the expectation is that Condon will negotiate his contract with the Giants. Darren Rovell, ESPN’s sports business reporter, tweeted that Jay-Z has a preliminary agent certification for Major League Baseball but he currently doesn’t have certification for football.
So, there is something there and it was moving last year. Makes sense. A couple hurdles are nothing to Jay these days.

Protests Scheduled Outside Reebok Store in NYC; Petition Demands Reebok Fire Ross
(AllHipHop News) Public anger and controversy surrounding Rick Ross’ rape lyrics continues to mount today (April 3) as the women’s rights group UltraViolet has announced they will lead a protest outside of Reebok’s flagship store in Manhattan tomorrow (April 4).
UltraViolet members are planning to deliver 71,763+ petitions to the company’s flagship store demanding the company fire the Maybach Music Group leader.
“We are appalled that Reebok would pay a spokesperson who brags about enjoying drugging and raping a woman,” said Nita Chaudhary, co-founder of UltraViolet. “Reebok devotes a lot of time, energy and money to marketing to women–and now they are paying a man who is literally bragging about raping us while absurdly insisting it can’t possibly be rape if he doesn’t use the word “rape.” Reebok is apparently OK promoting rape culture, but when 1 out of 5 women are the victim of an attempted or completed rape, that has consequences.”

While Rick Ross attempted to apologize in a radio interview earlier this week, Talib Kweli came forward this week and stated that the apology was not sufficient and that Rick Ross was a “misguided 40-year-old.”
“I want to make sure this is clear, woman is the most precious gift known to man, you understand? It was a misunderstanding with a lyric, a misinterpretation where the term rape wasn’t used. I would never use the word rape in my records,” Rick Ross explained. “And as far as my camp, hip-hop don’t condone that, streets don’t condone that. Nobody condones that, you understand me? I just wanted to reach out to all the queens that’s on my timeline, all the sexy ladies, the beautiful ladies that have been reaching out to me about the misunderstanding. We don’t condone rape and I’m not with that.”
For the protest, dozens of women are planning to appear in running gear with marathon style bibs featuring the number 71,763, with boxes of 71,763 petitions, and signs reading, “Hey Reebok– Want my business? Stop promoting rape. Drop Rick Ross.”
UltraViolet’s protest will take place at Reebok’s flagship NYC store located at 420 5th Ave, NYC at 2pm.

DJ Clue Arrested on Drug Charges; Caught Driving with Suspended License
(AllHipHop News) This morning (April 3) Desert Storm CEO and Power 105.1 DJ, DJ Clue, was arrested on charges of possession of controlled substance and for being an aggravated unlicensed operator.
DJ Clue, born Ernesto Shaw, was reportedly driving his black Range Rover with New Jersey plates when he was stopped at a checkpoint on Varick Street at about 2 a.m.
Police then checked his driving record and determined that DJ Clue was driving with a license that had been suspended eight times.
When authorities arrested him they searched him and found three pills wrapped in foil, and he was immediately booked.
Clue is expected to be arraigned in Manhattan court later today and has yet to release a statement to the public.
Last year DJ Clue made headlines for his beef with Funk Master Flex as the two were involved in an ongoing public battle between Power 105.1 and Hot 97.

DJs Jazzy Jeff, Z-Trip and A-Trak Set to Judge Red Bull Thre3Style National Finals
(AllHipHop News) This Friday (April 5) Red Bull takes their Thre3style National Finals to Hollywood, California where six DJ’s from across the nation will battle it out for the U.S. championship title.
The title will be judged by world-renowned DJs, Jazzy Jeff, Z-Trip and A-Trak and the winner of the Thre3style National Finals will represent the U.S. and compete in the Red Bull Thre3style World Championship in Toronto, Canada this November.
Throughout the night the DJs will battle and perform in a party-like atmosphere at Lure Nightclub (1439 Ivar Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90028) and unlike other DJ battles that are based on more technical aspects, the Red Bull Thre3Style is a creative format that awards DJs that get the most crowd response and interaction.
Competing DJs each get a 15-minute set that must include three different musical genres. The judges will then select the national champion based on track selection, creativity, mixing skills, stage presence and crowd reaction.
This year the competing DJs include five winning qualifiers from across the U.S.: DJ Scene (Seattle), DJ Phsh (Philadelphia), Trentino (Chicago), Konflikt (Miami), Donnie Dee (Dallas), as well as the DJ to win the Red Bull Thre3Style “Wildcard” slot.
The Thre3style National Finals will be hosted by The Captains of Industry, and will also feature a special performance by international DJ and producer, Mark Ronson.

Cops Called On Busta Rhymes At Miami Burger Joint
(AllHipHop News) A Miami Burger shop owner called the police on rapper Busta Rhymes after the star wasn’t served at his beckoning, a new report alleges.
Furthermore, Stephanie Vitori of Cheeseburger Baby charges that the rapper verbally accosted the employees, calling them “f*g” and “b**ch.”
The incident happened about 5:45 am, at a time when the shop is busy. Vitori charges that Busta came into the shop and wanted to be served first, when he was at the back of the line. The restaurant refused, an act that reportedly upset Busta.
Cash Money Records’ Busta Rhymes is making some not-so-pleasant headlines today (April 3) as reports claim he allegedly burst into a Miami fast food restaurant, verbally insulted employees and had the cops called on him.
According to Miami’s Cheeseburger Baby owner Stephanie Vitori, Rhymes stormed into her restaurant early Wednesday morning and worked up a storm.
“He got very upset when we wouldn’t take his order first when he was the last one to come in. We treat everyone as equals here at CBB. You can’t skip the line of ten people waiting in front of you,” Vitori explained to Miami New Times. Busta waited in his car for his food, but came back into the establishment after he got his grub, Vitori said.
“He came back in the restaurant and started becoming outwardly angry. He was calling our delivery driver Santiago a ‘f*g’ multiple times, and me a ‘b***h’ and [telling] me ‘to shut the f**k up’ because we put his salt, pepper, ketchup, and mayo — that he asked for — on the side.”
Vitori said she called the police, and that caused Busta to leave. Still the rapper, signed to Cash Money, had more complaints with the service at Cheeseburger Baby.
“He caused such a scene I was forced to call the cops on him. This is when he exited the restaurant. Top it all off, a few minutes later he called us to let us know there was no cheese on his burger, which was untrue, and that he was going to ‘come get us,'” Vitori said. “I deal with drunk and disorderly people all the time. I have been doing this for 11 years, but never in my life have I felt more disrespected as a business owner or woman.”
At press time, there was no comment from Busta Rhymes.

(AllHipHop News) It’s been a while Former Bad Boy artist Black Rob topped the charts with his smash hit “Whoa!” Recently, the rapper sat down with AllHipHop in 8 and 9 Miami show room. He talks securing a new label with Universal/Fontana, prepping ‘Life Story 2’ and leaving New York.
“It was a no brainer. If you know Black Rob you know what I was coming with when I was on Life Story 1, The Black Rob, Report Game Tested Streets Approved, I never lost what a rapper needed to take it over the top.”
The Harlem native also revealed why he left NYC.
“I moved somewhere down south in a undisclosed location. I turn the radio on in New York, all I hear is 2 Chainz, T.I , Future…the list goes on. Why would I wanna be there, might as well come down here an enjoy the living and the music. This is the Mecca rite now as far as music is concerned ”
