Growing up in New Jersey, AJ Penta was exposed to a life centered around music because his grandfather owned his own recording studio.
As early as the age of 4, Penta began messing around on the drums whenever he could but didn’t actually start taking lessons until he was 8 years old. However, about 9 years later the singer realized his love for the guitar and learned how to play basic chords from an army veteran.
Crafting a self-written sound for years now, AJ Penta’s main mission is to make sure his songs are authentic and honest to anyone that comes along with his music. Inspired by the likes of Guns N’ Roses, Kid Rock, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Garth Brooks, and Jason Aldean among others, the artist mixes a rock style with a country-inspired twangy sound.
Aside from releasing his own music, AJ Penta has performed live before with some of the biggest influencers and artists of our time. Penta has performed with Demi Lovato and Luis Fonsi among others.
AJ Penta’s next move is to continue releasing more music, already having plans to drop another single in the first week of August.
