(AllHipHop News) Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa and his entourage were forced to charter a private plane, after the commercial airliner they were traveling on suffered from a landing gear malfunction.
Newsday reports that a U.S. Express Airways plane was forced to land in Westchester County, New York Tuesday afternoon (November 27), as he traveled to West Virginia for a show.
Wiz and his 16-person entourage were among the 50 passengers on the plane, which departed from LaGuardia Airport in Queens.
But shortly after takeoff, the pilot received warning indications and he decided to land the plane in Westchester.
Taylor Gang member Berner told News12 that the plane was forced to circle the airport several times to burn off fuel which “was a little scary because we didn’t quite know what that meant,” Berner told News12. “We had superstars on the plane and we didn’t know what was going on, for real.”
Wiz Khalifa and his entourage ended up chartering a private jet in order to make it to the show in West Virginia.
