Pusha T Hints That Kanye & Pharrell Want To Produce Full Clipse Album

Kanye & Pharrell To Produce Next Clipse LP?

(AllHipHop News) Pusha T just released his debut solo album My Name Is My Name, but one of half of the Clipse rap group (along with his brother No Malice) took time to hint at a possible future project. While speaking with Peter Rosenberg & Cipha Sounds during their Juan Epstein podcast, Push said that superproducers Kanye West and Pharrell Williams have suggested taking on the task of producing an entire Clipse album together.

“I don’t even wanna bring this conversation up any further than this statement, but they both are like, ‘Yo, we just need to do the whole Clipse album. Both of us. And that’s it’,” said Pusha.

Pusha has a long history working with both West and Williams. The 36-year-old rapper is currently signed to Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music label and several tracks from MNIMN were produced by West. Pharrell also contributed production to the album.

Pharrell played a significant role in the introduction of Clipse to a nationwide audience. He and fellow Neptune beatmaker Chad Hugo produced the Pusha T and No Malice’s albums Lord Willin’ and Hell Hath No Fury.

While Ye and P seem to be interested in contributing to the first Clipse album since 2009’s Til The Casket Drops, the only question remains is if No Malice is willingly to go another round. Back in June, the older sibling told Vibe, “We’ve always supported each other in everything that we’ve done. Right now, we’re doing two different things.”
