G-UNIT MEMBERS REFLECT ON MA$E & CRACK ON 50

(AllHipHop News) As G-Unit prepares to drop the CD version of their The Beauty Of Independence EP and their next project The Beast Is G-Unit, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo caught up with DJ Envy to talk about some past incidents involving the crew. One of those topics centered around former G-Unit affiliate Ma$e’s reaction to a confrontation with Fat Joe.

“I think the funniest s**t at the MTV Awards when we had the beef with Fat Joe – shout out Fat Joe. It ain’t no beef now,” recalls Yayo. “It was me, Ma$e, I think Olivia, and Fif in the car. Ma$e was like, ‘Yeah, I should have pulled out my ninja knife.’ I was bugging.”

Banks and Yayo also discuss the friendly jabs that takes place between themselves and the G-Unit leader 50 Cent. During the conversation, they crack a few jokes at the Queens rapper’s expense. Especially, when Envy brings up the G-Unit tank tops.

“He drew the colors on that wife-beater,” said Banks. “We were on our way to a concert, and he had the wife-beater and a regular red marker and a black marker. He just started drawing boxes. I’m like, ‘What the f**k?'”

“Me and Banks, we like Louis. We like Hermès. We like the Foams,” added Yayo. “50 the type of n***a that be like [imitating 50 Cent’s voice], ‘You know it costs two dollars to make those. You paid $200 for those. You’re crazy.”

“He’s like a rich-broke n***a,” joked Banks.

Yayo and Banks then go on to reveal that they had to convince 50 to wear a throwback cap on his 50 Cent Is The Future mixtape cover and clown him for buying knockoff Timberland boots.
