UW Battle League’s “High Stakes” To Be 1st PPV Battle Streamed In HD Real-Time

UW BATTLE LEAGUE’S “HIGH STAKES” PPV TO BE STREAMED LIVE

(AllHipHop News) The world never was able to see Ali vs. Tyson and may never get to see Pacquio vs Mayweather. However, on the Sunday of Superbowl Weekend (January 26) the UW Battle League will make sure rap fans around the world will get to witness the first ever Pay-Per-View rap battle event streamed in HD real-time with its “High Stakes” event.

Set to be held at Club Envy in Elizabeth, NJ, the battles scheduled for this historic event include Tsu Surf vs Calicoe, O-Red vs. Hitman Holla, Daylyt vs B. Magic and the main event, Hollow Da Don vs. Loaded Lux with more battles to be announced later.

The most poignant innovation of this particular UW Battle League event is the implementation of real-time HD streaming via Ustream. In an official press release, UW discussed the inclusion of live streaming:

We believe that offering a live, HD PPV event for the fans worldwide, while providing cinematic promotional video content, will set the stage for all events going forward.

A meet and greet with the entire battle card and UW Battle League’s “FaceOff” series will commence this Sunday (December 15th) at Studio 34 in Orange, NJ.
