Meek Mill Reveals Guest Features For ‘Wins & Losses’ Album, Drops Visuals For “Issues” (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Meek Mill is in full drive for the release of his long awaited third studio album Wins & Losses.

The Maybach Music Group rhymer announced fans can now pre-order the project set to go wide on July 21.

A look at the iTunes link shows Meek recruited several features for the set.

Fellow Philadelphia star Lil Uzi Vert is appearing on the cut “F**k That Check Up.”

Southern hitmakers Young Thug, Future, Quavo, and Yo Gotti make appearances.

MMG boss Rick Ross shows up twice for “Connect the Dots” and “Made It from Nothing.”

The other artists listed on Wins & Losses are Chris Brown, Ty Dolla $ign, Guordan Banks, Lihtz Kamraz, The-Dream,  Verse Simmonds, and Teyana Taylor.

Meek provided a taste of what’s to come by premiering the music video “Issues” on YouTube.

Wins & Losses follows the previous Meek Mill LPs Dreams and Nightmares and Dreams Worth More Than Money.

Another L: Comedian Jess Hilarious Roasts Meek Mill!

For one reason or another, the rapper got into it with viral sensation/ Instagram comedian Jess Hilarious.

Apparently Jess said something, and Meek responded with a few jabs.

“You killing me with this lace front “just take it out” “it look like you put it in ya self lol “it look like it’s 13 weeks old. I know them braids under it stink!!! Who’s f-ckin this bird lol “get on my d-ck” u look like one of them birds that hit all of my homies and just got a super vendetta nobody called you back,” said Meek.

Jess didn’t take too kindly to Meek’s comments, and, she too, took to the ‘gram to let him have it!

She definitely roasted this man about once having on this middle school back-to-school outfit also.

Just when you thought Meek couldn’t take anymore “L’s”. SMH.

50 Cent Talks ‘Power’ Competing Against ‘Game Of Thrones’ On Sunday Nights (VIDEO/POLL)

(AllHipHop News) Two of the most popular dramas on cable television are about to go head-to-head.

With season 7 of Game Of Thrones debuting on July 16, HBO’s monster hit will be in the same time slot as the Starz record breaker Power.

The program’s executive producer and star Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson was questioned about Power competing against the fantasy series on Sunday nights.

“The only show on premium cable, period, that Power‘s behind is Game Of Thrones,” said 50 during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! “That’s why I started it early.”

Starz brought back the fourth season of Power on June 25, nearly one month before G0T is scheduled to make its highly anticipated return.

When Kimmel asked who made the decision to put Power up against Game of Thrones, 50 replied, “That’s what I wanted to do.”

The Queens-raised entertainer added, “Game of Thrones – you might not be into that age of things. You’re talking about a different period piece. You wanna go back way over there? Or you wanna see something that’s happening now?”

50 Cent is no stranger to competition.

His music career included feuding with numerous other rappers, and he took repeated shots at Empire when that Fox series debuted in 2015.

Roc Nation Announces New Partnership With Jaden Smith’s MSFTSrep Collective

The JAY-Z founded entertainment company and the lifestyle brand represented by Jaden Smith will work together on the MSFTS Music label and more.

“The collaboration between Roc Nation and MSFTS Music is empowering for the youth and flat out legendary,” says Smith in a statement. “Having the support of Roc Nation to get our music to the masses and change culture is a dream come true and a blessing. Kendrick Lamar’s ‘DAMN’ Named RIAA’s “Top Awarded Album” For Mid-Year 2017

(AllHipHop News) Kendrick Lamar continues to rack up accolades for his critically acclaimed project DAMN.

After being listed as the most commercially successful album of 2017 in Nielsen Music’s mid-year report, DAMN has also been named “Top Awarded Album” in the RIAA’s Mid-Year Highlights.

Kung Fu Kenny’s fourth studio LP is the lone album to be certified double platinum this year.

The only other albums to be awarded an RIAA Platinum plaque are Ed Sheeran’s ÷ (Divide) and JAY-Z’s 4:44.

Seven projects reached official Gold status including Future’s FUTURE, Big Sean’s I Decided, and Khalid’s American Teen.

DAMN debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 with a year’s best 603,000 album-equivalent units collected in its first week.

The 14-track masterpiece spent three weeks in the top spot and twelve straight weeks in the top 3 on the chart.

“Humble,” the album’s lead single, also reached #1 on the Hot 100 in April.

(AllHipHop News) Queen Bey was the most lucrative music artist of 2016, according to Billboard.

The industry publication placed Beyoncé at #1 on its list of Top 50 Highest-Paid Musicians.

By combining her sales, streaming, publishing, and touring, the Lemonade singer reportedly made $62.1 million last year.

OVO frontman Drake came in at #4 with $37.3 million with $18.1 million of that amount coming from streaming.

Fellow rap star Kanye West earned the #9 spot.

Despite all the claims Ye is in debt, the G.O.O.D. Music founder made a reported $26.1 million.

A majority of that total came from the $15 million generated by his Saint Pablo Tour.

Rihanna (#12, $22.3 million), Future (#17, $17 million), Jennifer Lopez (#31, $12.17 million), and The Weeknd (#42, $9.4 million) were top money makers for 2016 as well.

Billboard also reports last year saw music industry revenue increase for two straight years for the first time in nearly two decades.

The 50 top music acts made a combined $890.7 million which is a 34% increase over 2015.

While 75% of the money ($682.7 million) came from live shows, streaming royalties still accounted for $90 million.

Combined on-demand audio and video streams grew 39.2% from 2015 to 2016.

JAY-Z Praises Vic Mensa At L.A. Listening Event For ‘The Autobiography’ Album (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Vic Mensa is set to drop his debut studio album The Autobiography on July 28.

The Roc Nation artist held a listening event last night in Los Angeles, and he was joined by the head of his label.

JAY-Z praised Mensa as he introduced the Chicago spitter.

“Vic is a very special talent. He can do everything – sing well, rap well. He even engineers himself sometimes,” said the Hip Hop legend. “He’s an incredible artist, like a once in a lifetime artist.”

Mensa’s The Autobiography includes guest appearances by Pusha T, Pharrell, Saul Williams, The-Dream, Ty Dolla $ign, Syd, Chief Keef, Joey Purp, and Weezer.

Acclaimed musical mind No I.D. is credited as the executive producer for the project.

Last month, Mensa released the music video for “OMG” featuring Pusha T.

The SAVEMONEY member’s “Wings” with Pharrell and Saul Williams hit the internet overnight.

“It’s such an honor to be giving you all my debut album, The Autobiography. Conor McGregor Calls 50 Cent A “B-tch”; 50 Fires Back At The Fighter (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) The upcoming Conor McGregor/Floyd Mayweather Jr. boxing match is getting an extraordinary level of promotion.

McGregor and Mayweather were in NYC for the third stop on their promo tour.

While being in the city that birthed Hip Hop, McGregor quoted the legendary emcee that he shares a nickname with –  Christopher “The Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace.

“It’s the N-O, T-O, R-I, O, U-S, you just, lay down slow. Recognize a real Don when you see one,” said the man also known as The Notorious. “Shout out to the greatest of all time The Notorious B.I.G.”

In addition, the mixed martial artist champion also used the moment to blast Queens rapper 50 Cent.

“What’s up New York City? 50 Cent’s a b-tch,” McGregor told the Brooklyn crowd.

The event also included the Ireland representative giving Mayweather a copy of JAY-Z’s latest LP.

“I got Floyd a gift. This is JAY-Z’s new album, the 4:44. I want you to take this and listen to it and learn. Learn how to build and maintain a real empire, not a fake empire,” said McGregor. “And when you’re done with it, send it on to 50. And when you do, tell him Blanco sent you.”

Of course, 50 responded to Conor’s insults.

“what the f-ck wrong wit this white boy, you fighting Floyd not me fool. LOL,” wrote the G-Unit general on Instagram.

50 followed that statement with another IG post that read, “Little leprechaun Vs. KANAN July 16 Sunday 9Pm POWER Episode 4. Ain’t no tapping out over here LOL.”

There was another much talked about moment from the Brooklyn press conference.

In an attempt to show off his wealth and demean his opponent, Mayweather threw money at McGregor as 2 Chainz and Nicki Minaj’s “I Luv Dem Strippers” played in the Barclays Center.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Conor McGregor is scheduled for August 26 at the T-Mobile Arean in Paradise, Nevada.

Troy Ave & Casanova React To Taxstone Getting Indicted For Murder In Irving Plaza Shooting

(AllHipHop News) Daryl “Taxstone” Campbell was formally indicted for second-degree murder this week.

Taxstone is being accused of killing Ronald McPhatter, the bodyguard of Brooklyn rapper Troy Ave.

The violent incident took place at a 2016 T.I. headlining concert at New York City’s Irving Plaza.

Not long after the news of the Tax Season podcast host’s indictment became public, Troy Ave posted what appears to be a reaction to the situation.

The Nupac creator uploaded a video of himself dancing by an outdoor pool.

He wrote in the vid’s caption:

Prosecutors believe Taxstone brought the gun that killed Ronald McPhatter into Irving Plaza.

His DNA was reportedly discovered on the 9-millimeter Kel-Tec semi-automatic handgun.

A lawyer for the podcaster told Billboard, “We intend to fight these charges and he maintains his innocence.”

Last month, Tax pled guilty to possessing a firearm as a felon and receiving a firearm in interstate commerce.

The 31-year-old Brooklyn native is facing up to 20 years in federal prison in that case.

Trinidad James & Friends Give Back To The Crenshaw Community

The man who gave us the unforgettable song “All Good Everything” and Atlanta native, Trinidad James, hosted his 3rd Annual Camp James Celebrity Basketball Game. He also had the Crenshaw Rams Football Camp, which was founded by Big U at Crenshaw High School. Hollywood promoter Marques Diamond coached the undefeated Crenshaw team, while  Trinidad James coached his Camp James squad. DJ Looney kept the tunes going on the 1’s and 2’s with today’s hottest music.

Earlier in the day Trinidad put on a carnival with go kart racing, bounce houses, and food truck vendors. The youth in attendance received gift bags as well as pairs of Jordan’s and goodies from sponsors Jason Mark and Under Armour. All of the earnings were given to My Friends House LA.

There was a number of celebrities present such as Golden State Warriors Draymond Green, Rapper and All Eyez On Me Actor Eastwood, LA Rapper AD, TMZ Correspondent Raquel Harper, Najee De-Tiege (known for his roles as a Blue Power Ranger), and many more.

“Events like this gives us the opportunity to showcase what we are as men in our communities and why it’s important for us to be involved,” says James.

DMX Facing Over 40 Years In Prison Over Massive Tax Debt

(AllHipHop News) Rapper DMX is in big trouble with the Internal Revenue Service tax collectors.

IRS officials have charged the “X Gon’ Give It to Ya” hitmaker with 14 counts of tax evasion and the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New York claims he has concealed his income for years, racking up a $1.7 million debt.

In documents obtained by TMZ, officials have accused DMX, real name Earl Simmons, of using the bank accounts of surrogates instead of his own to keep his once vast earnings under the radar.

In the indictment, prosecutors claim he listed his income in 2011 and 2012 as “unknown” when in reality he’d hauled in over $350,000 and $540,000 , respectively, and in 2013, he reported income of $10,000.

According to the officials, he actually brought in $250,000 that year.

If convicted on all 14 counts, the rap star faces 44 years behind bars.

The embattled hip-hop star recently completed a rehab stint after voluntarily entering a treatment centre in Southern California on April 27.

When the news of his latest rehab stay first hit the headlines, the rapper’s manager Pat Gallo confirmed the star would be taking time off to “focus on his health so that he can be a better father, friend and entertainer.”

Gallo added, “We are eternally grateful for the outpouring of concern and support that has poured in. We ask that you please keep X in your prayers as he embraces your support.”

(AllHipHop Rumors) While Angela Renee Kardashian aka Blac Chyna is with all the sh-ts and stunts, she may have a match in one of her exes!

Blac Chyna’s ex, Pilot Jones, says he wants another 15 minutes of fame too. According to Jones, he doesn’t see how Blac Chyna is going in on Rob as he claims she once did the same things to him.

I would like to believe that Chyna never even dated this man, but judging by the other men she allegedly cheated on Rob Kardashian with, he fits her [strange] type.

Pilot Jones accuses Blac Chyna of ruining his life after their breakup when she posted his phone number online.

Jones claims he began receiving a significant amount of death threats. He also goes on to say that he had to move out of L.A. because it got so bad.

Pilot says that when Blac Chyna outed him as bisexual, the situation became so bad that he attempted suicide.

Apparently the only reason Pilot made it through is because he became a Buddhist.

Bullying and mental health issues along with suicide are no joking manner, but most don’t believe anything Pilot Jones has to say. It seems like he’s just trying to get in on the Rob and Chyna controversy!

Isn’t this the same dude that claimed he was Dream’s father until Dream came out looking JUST LIKE Rob Kardashian?! Idk man; IDK.

Chance The Rapper Hints At Helping SoundCloud Following Reports The Streaming Service Faces Financial Troubles

(AllHipHop News) Chance The Rapper is one of the most high-profile celebrity endorsers of SoundCloud.

The Chicago emcee provided his critically acclaimed Coloring Book project on the service for free, and he gave a shout out to SoundCloud during his Grammy Award acceptance speech in February.

So it comes as no surprise that Chance is apparently looking to help the company fend off the possibility of having to shut down.

“I’m working on the SoundCloud thing,” tweeted the “Blessings” performer on Thursday afternoon.

The message came after reports SoundCloud only has enough funds to make it through the fourth quarter of 2017, which is approximately 80 days from now.

Chance did not provide specific details on what he plans to do to help the Berlin-based streaming platform.

However, SoundCloud has issued a statement to Variety that reads in part:

Due to the extensive number of inaccuracies, we will only comment regarding funding and layoffs. To clarify, SoundCloud is fully funded into the fourth quarter. We continue to be confident the changes made last week put us on our path to profitability and ensure SoundCloud’s long-term viability. In terms of layoffs, it is our policy not to discuss individual employee cases, but we can share we continue to work with all employees who were let go to support them during this transition, with employment and financial assistance.

AllHipHop.com reached out to representatives of SoundCloud for further comment.

As of press time, we have not received a response from the company.

Are Lil Durk & Dej Loaf Back Together?

(AllHipHop Rumors) Issa couple again?!

It looks like Durk & Dej may be back on. Lil Durk took to his Instagram to share a picture of him and Dej Loaf with a caption that expressed his feelings for her.

“Ill kill for her so be cautious how you treat her,” posted Lil Durk.

We hadn’t heard too much from them in a while, and both had claimed that they were single a little while back. Last month an old collaboration between the two former love birds surfaced called “The One”. The track seemed to hint that either they were still working together or some fans wanted to reminisce on the good times.

People found it hard to believe that Lil Durk and Dej Loaf were ever a real couple to begin with as folks believed it was one big publicity stunt to promote their music separately as well as their various collaborations. Also no one believed it because many believe that Dej likes girls.

Well either Durk and Dej are back on, or it’s another a publicity stunt. Carry on.
