Hip-Hop Producer Detail Ordered To Pay Rape Victim $15 Million

(AllHipHop News) Detail ignored a lawsuit condemning him of rape, and now he’s going to pay dearly.

The hip-hop producer has been ordered to fork over a staggering $15 million in a default judgment granted to a woman named Kristina Buch.

The producer, born Noel Fisher, is accused of sexual assault by two different women.

Aspiring singers Kristina Buch and Peyton Ackley insisted Detail sexually attacked them during separate studio sessions.

Buch said she was molested by Detail following a recording session in Miami and was supposedly forced to have intercourse in front of other people.

During another argument, Buch contends the Grammy Award-winning producer physically attacked her during an argument and that is when she officially ended her association with Detail.

Detail, who has crafted hits for big-name artists like Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, and Beyonce, neglected to answer to any summons or court orders, resulting in the default verdict for Buch on Wednesday (September 25).

“No one should have to suffer the type of abuse Ms. Buch has suffered at the hands of Mr. Fisher. We are gratified that the court saw that Mr. Fisher should be held accountable for subjecting Ms. Buch to this horrible abuse,” Buch’s attorney, William J. Briggs told the AP.

Detail’s legal difficulties are far from over.

He is still facing another legal battle with Peyton Ackley, who says Detail forced her to record Buch’s alleged rape.

Sources stated Detail refuted all of the allegations, but he has lost numerous production jobs and has been evicted from his home over the scandal.

Criminals Order Drake To Leave Los Angeles

(AllHipHop News) Toronto rap star Drake received a frightening message in Los Angeles earlier today.

According to reports, vandals struck the rap star’s OVO store in Los Angeles and defaced the property. 

The exterior of the building was spray-painted with a warning, instructing the rapper to “LEAVE L.A.”

Sources said the graffiti attack happened sometime between Thursday night and Friday morning when the message was discovered.

Video of the damage to Drake’s OVO store was caught and put on the internet as well.

Representatives for Drake have refuted articles claiming that his Hidden Hills, California home was also bombed.

Paul McCartney Says Kanye West Was “More Cerebral” Than John Lennon

(AllHipHop News) Paul McCartney and Kanye West vowed not to tell anyone they were making music together – in case the sessions didn’t work out.

The pair penned the track “FourFiveSeconds,” which they recorded and released in 2016 with Rihanna to commercial success.

In an interview with British singer/songwriter, Gary Barlow, for U.K. radio program “Gary Barlow Meets Sir Paul McCartney” – as part of the BBC’s Radio 2 Beatles celebration – The Beatles musician confessed he wasn’t sure the sessions would be a success.

“What happened was I got word that Kanye wanted to work with me. So I just thought, ‘Well, you know, I love his stuff so, here goes nothing’,” Sir Paul McCartney said. “So we did some secret sessions and we both said if it doesn’t work out we just won’t tell anyone!”

The musician revealed the pair worked on three tracks in total – “Only One,” which he called “a real nice song”, and one called “All Day,” for which he gave the rapper a riff from an old song he’d been working on.

Paul added the sessions with the Yeezy mogul differed from those with his Fab Four bandmate John Lennon, which he described as “more cerebral,” explaining: “It was just talking and thinking and me plonking away a little bit.

“And you record everything and he takes it away and kind of does stuff with it and just a month or so later, he sent back this record.”

The BBC Radio 2 celebrations are in honor of the 50th anniversary of the band’s seminal Abbey Road album, which has been remastered and will be reissued, along with 23 bonus recordings and demos, on 27 September.

(AllHipHop News) Iggy Azalea is considering a wellness business venture after a psychic told her to open a yoga studio.

The rapper, whose latest album In My Defense has flopped on the world’s charts, took to Twitter on Thursday to share her excitement about a possible new initiative with fans.

“It’s probably the best psychic reading I’ve ever had,” she wrote. “I’ve always had a passion for fitness, and she saw me owning my own yoga studio!”

The revelation comes weeks after her latest record debuted at a disappointing No. 50 on the Billboard 200 charts.

The “Fancy” hitmaker was upset by the reception to the release on social media but insisted she was determined to remain hopeful.

(AllHipHop News) Rap veteran Snoop Dogg’s family suffered from a terrible loss earlier this month.

According to reports, Snoop’s 25-year-old son Corde Broadus was the proud father of a newborn baby named Kai Love.

But tragically, Snoop’s new grandson died after just 10 days. The baby, who was born on September 15, died from on September 25.

A cause of death for the child has yet to be revealed by Snoop Dogg or his family as of press time.

2 Chainz Is Now The Co-Owner Of The A3C Festival And Conference

(AllHipHop News) Rapper 2 Chainz is among a group of investors who have bought into the popular A3C Festival & Conference in Atlanta.

Earlier this year, The Gathering Spot and Paul Judge Media Group acquired the festival, which is now in its 15th year.

“​A3C has always been one of the most important places for artists to show off their creative ideas and to learn business moves,” 2 Chainz explained. “I’ve moved from artist to being inside the owner’s box. I’m excited to be co-owner and to help shape A3C over the next decade to be the biggest festival on the planet–the festival for the future.”

This year 2 Chainz will be immersed in the A3C Festival. He’s helping with curating the panels, choosing which artists will perform and helping with the overall vision of the festival.

He will also close out this year’s conference by hosting a keynote address with fashion legend, Dapper Dan.

This year’s speakers include Mike Will Made-It, T.I. and Bozoma Saint John, while artists like Rakim, YG, E-40, Megan Thee Stallion and others will hit the stage to perform.

Jury To Start Deliberating Nine Trey Members’ Fate After Tekashi 6ix9ine Testimony

(AllHipHop News) The trial involving rap star is Tekashi 6ix9ine wrapped up on Thursday (September 26).

Last week the embattled rapper testified against fellow members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang – with whom he helped try to kill a rival gang member – as part of a plea bargain to avoid a potential 47-year prison sentence.

Tekashi 6ix9ine and almost a dozen men were hit with RICO charges in November of 2018, for dealing drugs in New York, shooting their rivals and committing crimes against each other during in-fighting amongst the gang.

Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack and Anthony “Harv” Ellison were charged with several violent crimes, as well as being involved in the kidnapping and robbery of 6ix9ine.

Despite overwhelming evidence and 6ix9ine’s damning testimony, both men claim the Brooklyn rapper set-up his robbery and that the whole thing was staged for social media clout.

Ellison’s defense claimed 6ix9ine, born Daniel Hernandez, faked the abduction to promote his record “FEFE” which featured Nicki Minaj shouting out the gang.

The jury has taken almost a week off, and they will return to begin deliberations early next week, and a verdict could be delivered as soon as October 1. 

Blac Youngsta Arrested For Possessing Deadly Ammunition

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Blac Youngsta is cooling his heels behind bars in Houston, Texas.

The rap star was arrested last night along with three other men, after a Yukon they were traveling in ran a red light and was stopped by the police.

The cops detected an odor of marijuana and decided to search the car.

According to reports, three guns were found inside of the vehicle and Blac Youngsta was allegedly in possession of armor-piercing ammunition.

Blac Youngsta, real name Sam Benson, was charged with illegal possession of a weapon.

(AllHipHop News) Niatia “Lil Mama” Kirkland found her name in the headlines once again a few weeks ago. This time, the “Lip Gloss” hitmaker faced the comedic wrath of the internet over a comment she left on Instagram.

On September 7, Meek Mill posted a celebratory message on IG about new celebrity couple YG and Kehlani. Lil Mama wrote under Meek’s photo, “Why you ain’t just post us .” The Philadelphia emcee responded, “Oh you shooting ya shot ‘shot’ huh.” The jokes ensued. 

AllHipHop caught up with Lil Mama after the Meek Mill saga played out on social media. The Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta star shared the current status of her love life.

“I’m definitely a relationship type of person. I’m very family-oriented. Most people in my family are either married or dating seriously – children, stuff like that,” states Kirkland. “Right now I’m not currently in a relationship with anybody. I am focused on my career and I know that sounds super cliché, but at this present moment… I mean if you would’ve caught me last week maybe, but no, definitely not.”

This is not the first time the Brooklyn native has been mocked and harassed online. The infamous 2009 MTV Video Music Awards incident where Lil Mama crashed the stage during Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ “Empire State of Mind” performance made Lil Mama persona non grata in many circles. She tells AllHipHop how she deals with digital detractors today.

“I have great people in my corner to help check me. Like, if somebody’s saying something on the internet and they’re like, ‘Oh, she this, she’s that,’ I used to want to respond. You gotta remember I came in this game as a teenager. And then being 19 and 22 and 23 is not so far fetched from 17 neither,” says Lil Mama.

The 29-year-old singer/dancer continues, “So I used to want to rebuttal everything and dispute everything. I used to want to respond to those people and things like that. And I feel like my father is a person who has kept me on track. Like, ‘Yo, come on, stay on track. You’re winning. Don’t let nobody bring you down.'”

Will Tekashi 69 Be Able To Make It Back To Hip-Hop Music?

(AllHipHop Rumors) There is a raging discussion that has continued to carry on in the community. Will Tekashi 69 be able to come back to music? A lot of people have stated quite emphatically, “NO!” A snowflake has a better shot in the Devil’s oven than Tekashi 6ix9ine being accepted within the Hip-Hop community!

However, just today sources with TMZ has revealed that the super snitch has made a pair of proclamations. 1) He will refuse protective custody that has been offered to him from the government. And 2) He will make a return to Hip-Hop once he is released. 

Here is where we see the generational and cultural differences. Early indications suggest that Tekashi 69 may actually have a career post snitching. Younger people don’t really abide by the rules of snitching the way the older generation does. Now, that does not mean the old heads didn’t snitch! And that may be why the younger ones are so good at it. Anyway, there is a contingency of people that will NEVER mess with Tekashi ever again. Most artists won’t work with him, but maybe T-Pain will. He said he would “snitch so hard” and sympathized with the rapper. 

I think a lot of people will too. As far as New York and the surrounding area, I don’t think he can come home to Brooklyn ever again. What would the insurance be on such a show? What promoter would put their name on a show with Tekashi 6ix9ine. Would people buy tickets just to ruin the show? It would be tough! I think so.

He will need all those guns!

To me the biggest question of is – was he really a plant? Was he just super deep cover? I cannot imagine that he would try to come back to rap as if nothing happened. However, he would if he was well funded! The cost of that sort of security would be astronomical! I can’t even fathom how pricey it would be. He would have to be touring relentlessly! 

Lil Kim To Recieve I Am Hip Hop Award At The 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards

(AllHipHop News) Kimberly “Lil Kim” Jones will be recognized at the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards with a special honor. The network is presenting Lil Kim with the I Am Hip Hop Award at this year’s ceremony.

Queen Bee is the creator of the classic 1996 album Hard Core. Over her three-decade career, the Grammy winner has collaborated with The Notorious B.I.G., Puff Daddy, Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, Missy Elliott, 50 Cent, Christina Aguilera, and other music legends.

Lil Kim joins Grandmaster Flash, KRS-One, Russell Simmons, Ice Cube, Salt-N-Pepa, LL Cool J, Rakim, MC Lyte, Doug E. Fresh, Scarface, Snoop Dogg, Luther Campbell, and Lil Wayne as an I Am Hip Hop Award recipient. 

“I am graciously humbled by this honor. Thank you @bet. Beehive this one is for you #blessed,” wrote Kim on Instagram. The Brooklyn-bred rapper is also promoting the new single “Found You” featuring O.T. Genasis and City Girls on her social media accounts.

Additionally, some of the performers for the Hip Hop Awards show have been announced. Lil Jon, Megan Thee Stallion, Rick Ross, DaBaby, Chance The Rapper, T-Pain, Rapsody, YBN Cordae, Anderson .Paak., and Saweetie are set to hit the Cobb Energy Center stage in Atlanta.

Ultimate Rap League founder Troy “Smack White” Mitchell will present a live rap battle featuring DNA, Geechi Gotti, T-Top, and Shotgun Suge. Teyana Taylor and Daniel Kaluuya have been named as presenters. Comedian Lil Duval will serve as the host for the evening.

The 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards is scheduled to premiere on October 8 at 8 pm ET/PT. “Money” rapper Cardi B leads the pack with the most nominations (10).  She is followed by DJ Khaled, Travis Scott, and J. Cole with 8 nods each.

DaBaby Talks Kendrick Lamar & J. Cole’s Lyrics Going Over Some People’s Head

(AllHipHop News) DaBaby dropped his second full-length body of work of 2019 today (September 27). The new Interscope effort, Kirk, follows Baby on Baby which came out in March.

In between those two LPs, DaBaby appears on tracks by other artists such as Megan Thee Stallion, Lizzo, Lil Nas X, and Post Malone. The North Carolinian also helped open Dreamville’s Revenge of the Dreamers III compilation with J. Cole, Lute, and Kendrick Lamar.

Beats 1’s Ebro Darden caught up with DaBaby to discuss the Kirk album. The Apple Music conversation also included the man born Jonathan Lyndale Kirk chatting about balancing different musical styles and studying the culture.

“When it comes to the music, the traits you got to have in order to make lit music, club music, to have the swag with it, to have the lingo, I got those traits just from my environment and how I came up. And I got the brains to be able to play around with words,” said DaBaby. “Like when I listen to a Kendrick Lamar verse, a J. Cole verse, I hear everything they’re saying. Like the first time I listen to it, I understand it. I can digest it.”

Fiona Apple To Lil Nas X: Where’s My Money For Sampling “Every Single Night”?

(AllHipHop News) Earlier this year, Lil Nas X was hit with a $25 million lawsuit for allegedly using elements of Bobby Caldwell’s “Carry On” in his own song of the same name. LNX may want to prepare for another artist suing him.

New York magazine’s Vulture website published a feature article about Fiona Apple where the 42-year-old Grammy winner discussed blocking Panic! At the Disco from sampling a track off The Idler Wheel album. The singer-songwriter then took to Instagram to call out Lil Nas for also using a sample of her “Every Single Night” for his track “Kim Jong” off his 2018 mixtape Nasarati.

“The one thing that the lovely [New York journalist] Rachel Handler didn’t mention that I did say in the interview, which I would just like to say now is that Lil Nas X, you’re probably really great, but you used my song ‘Every Single Night’ too,” said Apple. “You sampled that song too, in a song called ‘Kim Jong Un,’ I think. Hey, where’s my money? You cute little guy. Where’s my money?”

In July, Lil Nas reacted to the “Carry On” lawsuit by uploading a SpongeBob SquarePants meme on Twitter. The Georgia native has been absent from the social media platform for several days, so he did not tweet about Apple’s IG video. T.I. Sits Down With Alex Jones To Discuss Donald Trump & More On ‘ExpediTIously’

(AllHipHop News) Tip “T.I.” Harris invited conspiracy theorist Alex Jones on the latest episode of PodcastOne’s expediTIously. The Grand Hustle leader and the InfoWars owner talked about white supremacy, Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, the New World Order, Donald Trump, and more topics.

T.I. brought up his belief that Trump disregards and disrespects black lives. He also took issue with what he referred to as the President’s divisive rhetoric and use of dog whistles to appeal to racist elements of his base.

At one point, Jones and Harris discussed whether the rapper would sit down with Trump in the White House. Tip explained why he would not meet with the President of the United States in the Oval Office.

“The reason I would not be willing to come is because I cannot begin a compromise, or a discussion – a mutual respect – if I don’t know there is a respect for us. So first, I must identify and go straight to the disrespect and disregard for black lives,” said Harris.

Jones replied, “I don’t think Trump would mind you, actually, bringing those points up to him, but I get what you’re saying. Also, if you go there, it would kind of be like, automatically, you were endorsing him.”

T.I. responded, “That’s not what I’m going to do. If he wanted to come here, he’s welcome here. If he wanted to come here, or any place – if he wanted to come to my venue, he’s welcome. And he would be just as respected as you are. He would have just as much fair room and freedom to speak as you do.”

Alex Jones stated that he is not an “apologist” for Donald Trump, but he did suggest the POTUS is “always” trying to unify the country. Tip quickly shot back,” That’s a lie… Now I’m going to go ahead and make a firm position and say that is a lie.” Jones later admitted Trump does say things that is not unifying.

French Montana Recruits Post Malone & Cardi B For “Writing On The Wall” Music Video

(AllHipHop News) In November, French Montana will release his third studio album titled Montana. The project will most likely include the new single “Writing On The Wall” featuring Post Malone and Cardi B.

The three platinum-selling musicians connected to film a video for “Writing On The Wall.” In the visuals, French, Post, and Cardi stomp through New York City. Jamaican producer Rvssian contributed to the track as well.

French previously dropped the songs “Slide” featuring Blueface and Lil Tjay, “Wiggle It” featuring City Girls, and “Suicide Doors” featuring Gunna. It has not been confirmed if any of those records will land on Montana.

In addition, French Montana announced this week that he is taking on the role of ambassador for the I Stand With Immigrants organization. The Moroccan-born, Bronx-based philanthropist also launched the Karim Kharbouch Coding Fellowship Program at The Knowledge House.

Kevin Gates Drops His Sophomore Studio Album ‘I’m Him’

(AllHipHop News) Many Hip Hop fans were waiting for Kanye West to let loose Jesus Is King on Friday, but that set did not arrive as expected. However, Kevin Gates finally returned with his second album.

Three years after Islah, Gates is back with I’m Him (His Imperial Majesty). The set hosts the singles “Push It,” “Facts,” and “RBS Intro.” I’m Him does not contain any guest features.

Jeezy To Rep NFL And NBA Stars With New Sports Business

According to reports, the Atlanta rapper is jumping into the sports industry with his new firm Sports99.

The new venture will represent NFL and NBA athletes according to sports insider Chris Haynes.

The news is the latest power move from Jeezy, who recently dropped his final album TM104: The Legend of the Snowman in August.

Jeezy also recently bought into a telecom company Figgers Communications to make smartphones to compete against Apple and Google.

And in January of 2018, Jeezy amassed a fortune when the remaining stake of Avión, the tequila brand he invested in, was bought by global spirits brand Pernod Ricard.

Jeezy joins an exclusive group of rappers who also represent NFL and NBA athletes.

Jay-Z owns Roc Nation Sports, while Lil Wayne operates a company called Young Money APAA Sports.

Kanye West Scrambling To Hit Release Date For “Jesus Is King”

(AllHipHop News) Kanye West has reportedly delayed the release of his gospel record Jesus Is King.

The album was expected to drop on Friday (September 27) but sources said that new music from Kanye will not be released on that date.

The reason for the hesitation is unknown, although Kanye’s team had a meeting with representatives of his record label Def Jam in Wyoming recently regarding the release.

While Kanye is presently in Wyoming trying to get the album ready to drop, it won’t be released on time.

Third Man Arrested For Providing Mac Miller With Deadly Drugs

(AllHipHop News) A third man has been captured and charged in a DEA investigation into the drug-overdose death of Mac Miller.

A man named Stephen “Stevie” Walter was taken into custody in Los Angeles on Monday (September 23), the same day cops busted a guy in Lake Havasu for Mac’s death.

Mac Miller, real name Malcolm James McCormick, died on September 7th 2018 inside of his Los Angeles house.

A coronor’s autoposy found Mac Miller had accidently ingested xanax and oxycodone pills which were really laced with the deadly drug fentanyl.

Earlier this month Cameron James Pettit was arrested in L.A. and held with no bail, for providing the rapper with the pills Mac ingested.

And, on Monday (September 23) police in Lake Havasu arrested the second man connected to Mac’s death, when a 36-year-old man named Ryan Reavis was charged with numerous drug and gun violations.

Apparently, Walter was the man who gave Pettit the tainted drugs, which eventually made their way to Mac Miller and caused him to OD.
