M City Jr is a proverbial hit-making machine. The Detroit rapper returned with “Diddy’d That,” a song of conversion jawns into dimes. Basically, he’s remixing the ladies, if you get it. The infectious song has already caught in the hood and now the internets are next. Shout out to M City. This is a follow up to hits like “B**ch Bye” and “Addicted To My Ex.” Listen up below.
(AllHipHop Rumors) Say no to drugs kids. Soulja Boy has to be on something.
It’s pretty safe to say that everyone wants Soulja Boy to stop with these ridiculous “fake” rap beefs. However, Soulja hasn’t yet decided to let his beef with Migos member Quavo go.
We know Soulja Boy is on something because he thinks he started the internet. Soulja you may have had a run with the ringtone era friend, but the internet was started, and poppin’ long before you forced your way into our musical lives.
Soulja Boy says he put the Migos on, and he has more followers than anyone he’s ever beefed with, so how could he possibly be beefing with anyone for a publicity stunt. SB says if it weren’t for him, none of these other rappers would be on.
Soulja also claims that he is the President’s daughter’s favorite rapper. He already “reminded” y’all that he supposedly still has 50 Cent’s backing and protection, and now he believes he has the Secret Service’s protection as well, because he’s allegedly one of the President Obama’s daughter’s favorites.
When Soulja Boy says “PUBLICITY” in his rant, we can’t help but to fall out laughing. Carry on.
(AllHipHop News) Kanye West showed off new blonde hair during his first appearance since he was hospitalized as he attended an art installation in Los Angeles on Thursday night (December 8).
The “Bound 2” hitmaker spent nine days at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical Center, when he was admitted for a mental evaluation after reportedly suffering from exhaustion and sleep deprivation.
He was released into the care of his personal physician on November 30 and is now recuperating at home while wife Kim Kardashian and their two children are reportedly staying with her mother Kris Jenner.
In his first public outing since the medical drama, Kanye decided to attend the Rick Owens: Furniture exhibition at the MOCA Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.
The rapper has long been an art fan, and looked in good spirits as he sat on a wooden chair for the snap taken by artist Giovanni Bassan, who captioned it on social media: “K s in da house (sic)”.
In the picture, Kanye is seen wearing a grey sweatshirt, black pants and white sneakers, while fans were quick to comment on his newly-dyed hair.
The 39-year-old’s outing came as his close friend Fonzworth Bentley opened up about the reasons behind Kanye’s meltdown, putting it down to the ninth anniversary of his mother Donda’s death.
“He never mourned his mother, and that’s at the root of this, and you don’t have to be a clinical psychologist to figure that out,” Fonzworth told the Tequila Avion podcast Rich Friend: The Elevated Conversation. “That is at the core of this. I think a lot of these things are coming up and coming out now.”
He also said Kim’s traumatic armed robbery ordeal, when she was bound and gagged by a group of masked men wielding guns in Paris, France, in October had a massive effect on Kanye’s mental state, as did the negative reviews he got for his Yeezy Season 4 show at New York Fashion Week.
Kanye’s hospitalization came just hours after he made the call to cancel the remaining dates of his “Saint Pablo Tour.”
But the singer didn’t take that decision lightly, and called everyone together backstage at his concert in Sacramento, California, to break the news before it hit headlines.
Fonzworth also dismissed recent allegations that Kanye and wife Kim are set to divorce, insisting the reality star is by her husband’s side as he gets back on track.
(AllHipHop News) Baton Rouge rapper NBA YoungBoy’s budding career has been derailed, thanks to recent attempted murder charges.
The 17-year-old rapper, who has recently released tracks with artists like Boosie Badazz, Kevin Gates and 21 Savage, has been charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder.
NBA YoungBoy, born Kentrell Gaulden, was arrested last month at a show in Austin, Texas. On December 7, he was booked into the East Baton Rouge Juvenile Court, is currently being held on $200,000 bond.
This is not his first brush with the law.
The rapper also did a six-month stint in a juvenile detention center in Tallulah, Louisiana, where he wrote songs for his 2015 debut mixtape, “Life Before Fame.”
Even though NBA YoungBoy is under the age of 18, he can still be tried as an adult under Louisiana law.
(AllHipHop News) Longtime production partners Boi-1da and Vinylz once again teamed up for “Deja Vu” off J. Cole’s new album 4 Your Eyez Only.
The track for “Deja Vu” resembles Bryson Tiller’s “Exchange.”
1da and Vinylz took issue with Foreign Teck of The Mekanics for creating a beat they claim was originally their work.
“Maybe [Foreign Teck] can explain why to y’all why [Bryson Tiller’s] ‘Exchange’ and ‘Deja Vu’ sound similar… right [Vinylz]?” Boi-1da posted on Twitter.
Teck responded with, “damn [Boi-1da] wake up everyday tryna come for me lmao i’m honored. at the end of the day you one of my favorite to ever do it man.”
The two producers exchanged more tweets, and Vinylz added his thoughts to the online conversation as well.
“Lol thief .. all good tho.. our run continues as always without stealing sh-t …we create not remake..,” tweeted Vinylz.
He added, “I sent this thief a video of me making the ‘Deja Vu’ beat..a week later he post a beat on ig with the same drums. I made him take it down. He said ‘I’m sorry bro.. I was inspired . I look up to you’ few months later he decides to remake the whole beat and give it to Bryson.”
Then Teck posted, “here’s how honest i am [Vinlyz] the drums off you know were definitely your drums i was 19yrs old and just really learning sh-t. ‘Exchange’ however [Vinlyz] i made myself and sent it to [Daniel Worthy] to finish. he got stuck on it and never sent it back.”
The Florida native then blasted Boi-1da and Vinylz for claiming to own certain sounds.
Maybe @ForeignTeck can explain why to y’all why Exchange and Deja Vu sound similar… right @Vinylz ?
Hmmm and “you know” by meek mill..is the exact pattern as “Deja Vu” I rest my case man… thank you for telling the ppl the truth . ? https://t.co/iK94m7B7mr
(AllHipHop Rumors) They say trolling is an art form!
Who knew Gucci Mane had such a sense of humor. Someone let this man know how the Grammy’s process works! I’d like to believe he’s truly trolling his fans for a good laugh here.
The announcement of Grammy nominations brings excitement and disappointment every single year. Some artists rejoice in happiness, some go on rants, and others post on social media about how disappointed they are, see Travis Scott.
Anyway, Gucci has been in great spirits since his prison release. So much so, that he’s super excited about his forthcoming project ‘The Return Of East Atlanta Santa.’
Gucci took to Twitter to express his disappointment in the album not being nominated for a Grammy. There’s one problem, the album isn’t even out yet, but according to Guwop, “that’s not the point.”
If his album would’ve been out earlier, do you think it would’ve been Grammy worthy? I’m just going to say Gucci clearly has a great sense of humor, and he’s trolling his disappointed peers with this one.
So you telling me #TheReturnofEastAtlantaSanta 🎅🏿🎅🏿didn't get nominated for a Grammy SMH. Pure Fuckery! I'm sick 😷 of it!!

(AllHipHop News) Publishing mogul and CEO of Wonderboy Entertainment, Rasheed Rahan Wonder has teamed up with Doug E. Fresh and songwriter Unique Mecca Hall to officially file a Multi-Million Dollar lawsuit against Fox’s top-rated show, “Empire.”
The lawsuit contends that during season two of Empire, the show sampled the 1993 Doug E. Fresh hit song, “I-Ight” (Alright).

(AllHipHop Rumors) It looks like we will finally get that Drake & Rae Sremmurd collab!
Rae Sremmurd have released several catchy and successful tracks up-to-date, and they certainly had a good year with the success of their hit record “Black Beattles,” you gotta love that #MannequinChallenge.
Anyway a while back, rumors hit that Drake & Rae Sremmurd would be collaborating as rumor had it that Drake was going to jump on their then hit, “No Type.” Well the collabo never came through, but the hit still took off organically.
Rumor spread this week that a true Drake and Rae Sremmurd collaboration was really on the way this time after Slim Jxmmi, previewed a song over the weekend at an Art Basel event. Fans in attendance said Jxmmi gave fans a snippet before cutting the song in the middle of the 6 God’s verse, shouting,
“That’s all you get for free.”
Fans have been wondering all week if the secret collaboration is a Rae Sremmurd song, a Drake song, or maybe even a collaboration with Jxmmi alone. I wondered if it would appear on Drake’s forthcoming ‘More Life’ album.
Jxmmi couldn’t hold it in anymore, and revealed that the song he played was actually a new collaboration between Drake, Mike WiLL Made it, and Trouble. Are you here for it?
Kanye, 39, was hospitalized at the UCLA Medical Center for treatment on November 21, which forced to cut his “Saint Pablo” tour short, costing the rap star about $30 million in revenue.
Some reports have attributed the rapper’s meltdowns to drugs and not taking the proper doses of medicine, while others have noted the timing of his breakdown came around the anniversary of his mother’s sudden death.
Either way, most reports are suggesting that Kanye is progressing with his recovery and his creativity is “flowing” now, leading to an uptick in his output, as he recovers.
Earlier this week, Ryan Seacrest said that Kim revealed to him “that things are going better now” for Kanye.
(AllHipHop News) In recent weeks, Orlando Brown was a repeat trending topic on social media thanks to his controversial interviews with VladTV.
The videos sparked a lot of online conversation over Brown’s erratic behavior and sexual comments about his That’s So Raven co-star Raven-Symoné.
Some of the clips have collected over 1 million views on YouTube.
Brown is now blasting Vlad for not sharing the profits earned from the viral vids.
“That n-gga’s a Mason. F-ck him. He don’t even want to pay me,” Brown told ADD. “You ain’t never had so many millions on your sh-t in life, p-ssy ass n-gga. When I see you, I’m gonna knock your ass out.”
He continued, “You wanna know why, n-gga? Cause you done made hella money off me. You suppose to split that sh-t, n-gga.”
Brown went on to say he reached out to Vlad about the issue.
The 29-year-old former Disney Channel star then called out the media figure for the treatment of other guests on his platform.
“Who’s getting paid? None of the motherf-cking artists that sit on his couch. All he’s doing is exploiting black motherf-ckers and keeping the money,” added Brown. “Be a man, n-gga. Be a man.”
This is not the first time DJ Vlad has been criticized for his brand’s content.
(AllHipHop Rumors) Ahhhh man! It looks like we won’t be actually getting that OutKast & Gucci Mane collaboration like we thought!
Remember a few months ago when Gucci Mane revealed on Snap Chat that he’d done a record for OutKast? He got many of their fans excited for the alleged forthcoming effort.
Big Boi recently took a moment to clarify some important details about the said record.
In an interview with Creative Loafing Tampa, Big Boi explaining that Gucci is actually on a record on Big’s forthcoming solo project.
Big Boi explained that Gucci misspoke out of excitement since the record was really “jammin’.”
Back in September Gucci posted a video saying,
“I just did a record for OutKast. I just did a record for Wayne. I just did a record for Boosie. I just did a record for Project Pat. I just did a record for E-40.”
Well, Big Boi’s new album should be complete by January 2017. As much as we all love Big Boi, we also always want a verse from 3 Stacks too!
(AllHipHop Rumors) Someone get Soulja Boy some help!
Every other day Soulja Boy is beefing with another rapper. This week he’s beefing with Migos member Quavo. Fake gangsters oftentimes have to tag other people in on their beef, so Soulja Boy decided to retweet a 6 year old tweet from 50 Cent defending him in the past.
50 Cent said he would get people killed if they touched Soulja. We wonder if 50 still feels this way. ?
50 Cent is always down for some reckless and petty shhhh, but we don’t know if Soulja Boy’s current antics are something Godfather Fif would be down for.
According to Soulja Boy, he has real street cred., he sent Quavo his address but Quavo failed to pull up, and 50 Cent still has his back. Hmmmmm.
50 Cent has yet to issue a statement on whether he condones Soulja’s recent behavior. Let’s hope not.
(AllHipHop News) Rapper Pitbull sat down with the ladies of “The Real” and guest co-host Evelyn Lozada.
During the show, Pitbull discussed his phenomenal success, which includes, deals with Wal-Mart, his own Sirius XM channel liquor brand Bombay and most recently, his new Pitbull Cuba fragrance for men and women.
While discussing his success during the sit-down with co-hosts Adrienne Houghton, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley, Pitbull dismissed the age-old notion that “money cannot buy happiness.”
“You know, a friend of mine told me, I don’t know how it came up in conversation, but he said, no I said it. I said ‘man, money doesn’t buy happiness,'” Pitbull said. “And he goes, ‘No, money does buy happiness, you just got to give it away.'”
This led Pitbull to change his way of thinking about money, and how his he can impact others in a positive way.
“I know we all heard the record before ‘Mo Money Mo Problems,’ so I call it ‘Mo Money, Mo Solutions.’ Why? ‘Cause you’re constantly helping other people’s problems,” Pitbull said.
As we know rapper J. Cole is very private, so it’s to no one’s surprise that the alleged birth of his daughter hasn’t exactly made headlines yet.
It’s usually someone else doing the revealing of the private details of Jermaine’s life.
It looks like his new album ‘4 Your Eyez Only’ is actually doing a lot of talking too.
An iTunes review of the forthcoming highly-anticipated album seems to confirm that the North Carolina rapper is the proud father of a baby girl.
The review reads,
“The two-part suite ‘She’s Mine’ may be the most important songs he’s written, as Cole hovers over his daughter and finds himself overcome by a strange feeling: hope.”
Interestlingly enough, fans have wondered did Cole write this verse a few weeks or months ahead of time imagining what fatherhood would be like, as rumors have spread that his wife Melissa allegedly just gave birth in the last few days.
Knowing J. Cole, we could or could not get an announcement. Either way, we are sure ready for his Friday release.

His trial was scheduled to begin on February 22, 2017, but it has now been pushed back to May (17) to give Knight and his legal team time to present new evidence in a bid to lower his bail.
According to the New York Daily News, Knight will file the bail motion in the near future and plans to present evidence to support his claims producer Dr. Dre tried to have him killed following a bad business deal.
He also claimed Sloan was hired by Young and associates and paid $300,000 to take out Knight.
“We have a really great shot at our next bail hearing,” Knight’s fiancee Toi-Lin Kelly said as she left the Los Angeles courthouse earlier this week. “Suge is really willing to go to trial tomorrow. That’s how much compelling evidence we have. We are very ambitious about moving forward to trial.”
Meanwhile, Knight is also battling a wrongful death lawsuit brought against him by Carter’s widow in June last year (15).
The altercation which led to Carter’s death took place on the set of N.W.A. biopic “Straight Outta Compton,” but neither Dre nor Cube were present when the trouble began.
Knight and Dre became rivals when the latter ended his dealings with Suge and Death Row Records and set up his own successful label.

(AllHipHop News) Embattled rapper Bobby Shmurda has been offered a plea deal in his prison contraband case.
The hip-hop star, real name Ackquille Pollard, was arrested in June, 2015 after he was caught in possession of a “sharpened metal instrument” while in jail.
The 22-year-old pleaded not guilty after he was indicted on perjury, weapons possession and promoting prison contraband charges in July, 2015.
If convicted, he faces up to seven years in prison.
On Tuesday (December 7), an assistant district attorney offered Shmurda a deal of one to four years in prison if he agreed to plead guilty to the felony, according to reports.
The plea deal offer comes two months after Pollard was sentenced to serve seven years behind bars after he pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess weapons and possession of a weapon in October.
He was arrested during a police sting operation in Manhattan in 2014 and charged with counts of conspiracy to commit murder, reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon and more.
Pollard’s other charges were dismissed as part of the plea deal and he was given credit for time served.
