Nas Praises Fidel Castro In Death, Criticism Ensues

(AllHipHop News) Fidel Castro has died at the age of 90. The long-living, former president of Cuba has garnered a number of comments from critics, supporters and people all walks of life.

Some regard him a revolutionary that stood up to governmental bullies and others regard him a dictator that oppressed his own people.

Rapper Nas offered a decidedly noncommittal view that bordered on support. The community that follows the QB rapper seemed to overwhelmingly chide him for his commentary.

“RIP KING FIDEL CASTRO #revolutionary only 5% understand. Im not Cuban, I don’t fully know how he effected my Cuban family, so I’m sending strength and power for your pains,” Nas said. “But lots Of us, as Black people, n some others in the USA, we saw him as an Ally in the Struggle.✊??

What seemed like a conciliatory remark that catered to both sides, sparked a voracious debate in the comments section of the rapper’s Instagram.

One poster said, “This is disrespectful to so many people. Your words carry immense weight and apparently you don’t care about the cost of your factually inaccurate post. When you admittedly don’t know what your talking about, it might be wise to say nothing at all.”

“Oppressed the Cuban people and brought them to their knees and brought the country to ruins. So the 5% that you claim to understand his “revolutionary” antics are straight comepingas,” another person said. “Ask your cuban family what that phrase means. Dont speak on sh*t you dont know about.”

It wasn’t all bad for Nas. Some commenters offered varying degrees of support or the rapper.

One person: “No disrespect to you or your people’s dealings but I know when it came down to dealings with my personal African American heroes and Fidel, he was always an ally and comrade. For people to come on here and cuss out others for their personal views/beliefs is just preposterous to me.”

Kanye West Remains Hospitalized; Could Be Released Monday

(AllHipHop News) Kanye West reportedly spent Thanksgiving in hospital with wife Kim Kardashian at his bedside.

The rapper was admitted to the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center on Monday (November 21) for a psychiatric evaluation, and is said to be receiving treatment for exhaustion and sleep deprivation.

According to reports, Kanye has been suffering from temporary psychosis, depression, and his mental health was pushed to breaking point due to the non-stop work he’s been doing on his fashion line, new album and his recently abandoned tour.

Friends and family had hoped the Stronger hitmaker would be home for Thanksgiving on Thursday (November 24), but he remained in hospital.

Kim reportedly spent a few hours with her husband before leaving to join her children, North, three, and Saint, 11 months, and the rest of the Kardashian/Jenner clan at Kylie Jenner’s home in upscale Calabasas, California.

A source told PageSix.com that the 39-year-old is expected to stay in hospital for a few more days, and may be released on Monday (November 28).

Well, on a recent episode of Drink Champs,Diddy apparently stated that after Suge said that at The Source Awards, him and his wolves PRESSED Suge after he made those remarks and Suge allegedly copped mad pleas. He said that he was really talking about Jermaine Dupri. Real talk, I thought he was talking about JD too until the masses stated that he was talking about Diddy. WOLVES. Nobody wants to speak on this, but Diddy used to run with a pack. Nobody was messing with him, but as we know, we lost two of our best talents.

Eminem Launches New Collaboration With Carhartt

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Eminem has teased fans about a new collaboration with clothing brand Carhartt.

The “Lose Yourself” hitmaker has previously worked with designers at the workwear firm, based in Eminem’s native Michigan, and now it appears they are gearing up to release another range of goods, just in time for the holidays.

The hip-hop star hinted at the line on social media by simply sharing a black-and-white image bearing his name alongside the Carhartt logo.

“Black Friday: Eminem X @Carhartt,” read the caption, which included a link to allow fans to sign up for early access for Friday’s (November 25) launch of the E13 line.

Further details have yet to be revealed.

Eminem last teamed up with Carhartt officials for a special Air Jordan 4 sneaker auction last year, when just 10 pairs of the shoes were auctioned off for charity on eBay.

The sale raised just under $228,000 in total, with the most expensive pair snapped up for $18,750.

He also created a limited edition hoodie for Carhartt in 2014 to raise funds for his own Marshall Mathers Foundation to benefit at-risk youths in his hometown of Detroit.

The rapper is preparing for a busy few months – in addition to his new Carhartt project, he is currently working on the follow-up to his 2013 album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2.

Last month (Oct), he announced new material is on its way, and gave fans a taste of the forthcoming tunes by sharing a politically-inspired song titled Campaign Speech, in which he took aim at now-U.S. president-elect Donald Trump.

Douglas posted a screen shot of a text message that said,

“I saw J. Cole’s mom today. She gonna try to get me an autographed CD for you. Also not sure if it is public, she is gonna be a Grandma. J’s expecting.”

J. Cole was already caught off guard with director Ryan Coogler accidentally revealed he was [secretly] married during an onstage interview, so he’s probably not going to be too happy about the beans being spilled on Twitter if there is any truth to this.

Drake Is Still Out Here Looking For Revenge

(AllHipHop Rumors) Ian Connor recently tweeted a screenshot of a text message conversation that he had with Drake. The two somehow got on the topic of revenge, hate, and beef.

Drake took a moment to reflect on the fact that people constantly take shots at him while blaming the shots on the people having problems of their own.

Drake also expresses that at this point his revenge-based antics aren’t malicious, but they are instead warranted.

“Trust bro. The blissful times of being new and exciting and non threatening are over. There is real people suffering thru issues based around their own misery and frustrations and their reaction to it all is being taken out on those that threaten their bubble. Anyone that disrupts that feelings of the world revolving around them. Kobe ended his career with an entire campaign about how much people hate him. What a way to have to exit. To feel like I was too good that even in my farewell we have to address the years you spent hating me for it. Just don’t let it make you bitter. Pls. I am happy despite waking up everyday and someone new flipping on me or talking down. And I have grown to the point that revenge makes me happy because my revenge isn’t malicious it’s warranted,” said Drake.

Remember, before Ian was hit with a number of sexual assault allegations, he modeled a couple of celebrity lines from Kanye West’s Yeezy Season to Drake’s OVO Summer 16 looks. Judging by the fact that Ian shared this text message, we are unsure of how close the two will remain.

This seems like a conversation that should’ve been kept privately between them, then again Drake may not care.

Either Drake is miserable at this stage of his life, or he is happy as hell and has nothing but time on his hands.

It seems like at this point Drake has accomplished most of his goals, and it’s just entertaining at this point to “kill off” those that oppose him.

If this wasn’t enough mess, the woman sent in the screen shot where Future asked her if she took the Plan B, and another woman sent in her similar experience, saying it’s all true about Future.

The other woman said she hit Future in his DMs, and he tried to get her to pay for a hotel room. He allegedly finally paid for the room, and she claims that when they had sex he didn’t say a word to her, and he kept all of his jewelry on for some sex that she claimed was trash.

The woman claims that he doesn’t like to use condoms, and he claims that Magnums squeeze his little future man.

I’m just sitting here trying to figure out whats wrong with Future and these women as they act like STDS ARE NOT VERY REAL!

Oh and she said that good dk will mess up your brain cells. Naw, these women were idiots to begin with, and any rappers playing with their health are as well. Carry on……

Drake Confirms ‘More Life’ Project Will Not Be Released On Suspected Date

However, More Life will not drop on the day previously suspected.

Champagne Papi left a comment on Instagram to confirm 12/3 will not be the release date for the “playlist.”

Last month, the OVO Sound founder did state on IG that More Life will be arriving before the end of the year.

Diddy’s Son Justin Gathers Celebrity Friends For 1st Annual “CombsGiving” Day

Justin Combs (entrepreneur and son of music mogul Puff Daddy aka Diddy) along with his company TONITE and sponsor partner Food Haus, recently hosted the 1st Annual CombsGiving Day at Food Haus Cafe in Los Angeles.

CombsGiving was a FREE community Thanksgiving dinner & block carnival festival, which served over 300 hundred families and homeless youth from several non-profit organizations and youth shelters including, The Los Angeles Youth Network, Jovenes Inc. foundation, The Los Angeles Trade Tech Guardian Scholars Program and LA’s Best Foundation.

The families and youth were treated to a festive day of carnival activities including rides, wall climbing, games, balloon animals, face painters and caricature drawings as well as pampering services such as haircuts and manicures and of course a delicious traditional Thanksgiving meal, catered and sponsored by Food Haus Cafe.

Celebrity friends of Combs were also on-site lending their time and hands for the day as volunteers, including Keke Palmer, Gregg Sulkin, Angus Jones, Pooch Hall, Rio Mangini, Masiela Lusha, Trevor Jackson, Malaysia Pargo, Jason Lee, Mechelle Epps, New District, Donovan Carter, Kaylyn Slevin, Hannah Stocking and more.
