(AllHipHop Rumors) Lil Wayne continues to catch hell over his comments about “My life matters” vs “Black Lives Matter.” But this time, it is T.I. that is going in on Weezy with reckless abandon. He was not just dissing Wayne though, he really got on him personally over this comments that were over the top ignorant. Tip even said Wayne was coonin, which is an incredible slap in the face.
But, true. And now Wayne has to contend with this beyond the trolls. Look at what Tip said below.
(AllHipHop News) Donald Trump blasted Jay Z earlier today during a campaign stop in Tampa, Florida, just one day after the rap mogul made a high-profile appearance at a rally with Hillary Clinton in Cleveland.
Donald Trump chided the Hip-Hop superstar for the foul language he used during his uncensored performance of “FuckWithMeYouKnowIGotIt” and “Dirt Off Your Shoulders” at Hillary’s rally.
“I actually like Jay Z, but you know, the language last night. Oh. Oh. I was thinking, maybe I’ll just try it?” Donald Trump said. “Should I use that language for one event? Can you imagine if I said that?” Trump rhetorically asked a crowd at a rally in Tampa, Florida.”
Donald Trump also made fun of the crowd that attended Hillary’s rally in Cleveland last night, which drew around 10,000 people, who came to see performances by Jay Z, Big Sean, Beyonce, Chance the Rapper and others.
“In Hershey, Pennsylvania, last night, we had an arena, we had 27,000 people show up, many couldn’t get in,” Donald Trump said. “Far more than Jay Z had with their free tickets. Free tickets! Far more. And Beyonce. And I like the both, but he used language last night that was so bad. I’ve never said he he’s said in my life. But that shows you the phoniness of politicians and the phoniness of the whole system, folks.”
(AllHipHop News) Veteran producer Salaam Remi is launching a new music platform to help a variety of hand-picked emerging artists receive a valuable boost to their careers.
Salaam’s label Louder Than Life’s new “Do It For The Culture” is planning on dropping 50 songs every few months for the next few years.
The producer is looking to discover new artists from all genres straight off of the streets, or through valuable, trusted co-signs.
“I have a sweet spot for singer songwriters and for people who make music that is outside of the norm,” Salaam Remi told AllHipHop.com in a statement. “I will continue to provide that option for artists out there so people don’t feel as if they are required to fit the mold of today’s pop trends. I look forward to giving more artists a shot at doing what they do best not just for myself, but for the culture.”
So far, current releases from the “Do It For The Culture” campaign are out from NO PANTY (Nitty Scott, Bodega Bamz, Joell Ortiz), The Champagne Flutes, Sex All Summer, Miraa May, Elle Varner, Mack Wilds, Miguel, and BJ The Chicago Kid.
Salaam, who has worked with The Fugees, Nas, Amy Winehouse, Fergie, Estelle, Miguel, Alicia Keys, is also developing a new crop of artists, including Algerian-born/London raised singer Miraa May.
“I get excited by the reaction that we got from people, which is why I decided to put out more music – ‘for the culture’.”
(AllHipHop News) Dave Chappelle is in the news, but not for his upcoming ceremonial appearance on Saturday Night Life. Last night, he dissed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton at The Cutting Room in New York.
To underscore his disdain he also championed Donald Trump, the Republican nominee.
First, Chappelle stated that Clinton was responsible for the leaked tape that had Trump saying horrendously lewd comments about women.
“What I heard on that tape was gross, but the way I got to hear it was even more gross. You know that came directly from Hillary,” he stated in the routine. He said he already knew that Hillary was “not right” before the leak.
Chappelle also said the leaked Trump conversation with Billy Bush was taken out of context.
“Sexual assault? It wasn’t. He said, ‘And when you’re a star, they let you do it.’ That phrase implies consent. I just don’t like the way the media twisted that whole thing. Nobody questioned it,” he said.
“That would have devastated anybody else,” of the sexual allegations against Trump.
Continuing about Hillary Clinton, Chappelle said, “She’s going to be on a coin someday. And her behavior has not been coin-worthy. She’s not right and we all know she’s not right.”
Chappelle is set to host the last SNL show for A Tribe Called Quest on November 12, but he put a question mark above the appearance last night.
“You know there’s a pool going on whether or not I show up. I got $100,000 that says I won’t,” he said.
Last night, Jill Scott, Tyrese, Anthony Hamilton and Tish Hyman hit the stage as part of the Soul Train Weekend “Soul Train Music Festival” at Mandalay Bay Events Center.

Earlier this year fans went crazy when Janet Jackson had to cancel her ‘Unbreakable’ tour. Fans later learned that she took time off to plan a family, later confirming that she was actually pregnant, as many believed she would surely have a surrogate.
As you know, celebrities have certainly chosen some interesting names for their children over the years.
Although Janet Jackson seems to be the “most normal” of the Jackson family, we could definitely see her going with something Blanket-esque as well.
Rumor has it that Janet Jackson and her billionaire husband Wissam Al Mana have decided to honor Janet’s late brothers Brandon and Michael Jackson by giving their son the middle name “Michael Brandon.”
Allegedly the child’s first name will be Muslim.
It’s nice to see Janet honor her brothers if this is true. Congrats to Janet and Wissam!
(AllHipHop Features) Lazy. Sheltered. Self-absorbed. Millennials have been characterized as the most narcissistic and coddled generation in American history.
But to throw specific tags on every person between the ages of 15 and 35 would be a flagrant case of overgeneralization. Especially when you become familiar with a young multitasker out of the Washington, DC area named DJ Young Music.
Radio personality. Songwriter. Music executive. Those are just a few of the hats Young Music wears on a daily basis. And theBrandywine, Marylandnative is only 19 years old.
His career drive is not just about padding his own résumé. DJYM wants his intensive work ethic to serve as a model for his fellow Millennials.
“Everything I do is to set an example. For me to be 19 and have done all this, it goes to show people:If I did it, you can do it,” Young Music conveys to AllHipHop.com. “You can say, ‘Wow, Young Music did that, so I can also.’”
The self-described “Streetz Representer” has done a lot over the last five years. While still a high schooler, Young Music was splitting his time between making the honor roll and deejaying alongside industry veterans.
At 14, Young Music began touring with R&B legend Ginuwine. The experience provided the novice with the opportunity to get on-the-job training from a platinum-selling performer.
“What I learned from Ginuwine is no matter what the circumstances are, the show must still go on. Anything could happen that day, but you still have to put on the same show you’d put on if anything didn’t happen,” says Young.
Another early mentor was Grammy-nominated producer Kevin “Khao” Cates who Young Music credits as inspiring him to learn how to master the turntables. The budding disc jockey would later be tapped to take part in a tour with Chris Brown, Fetty Wap, Omarion, and Migos.
“[Chris Brown] randomly picked me. I was deejaying and opening up for him. I was killing it. He heard me from backstage and said, ‘I need that kid on tour with me,’” recalls Young Music. “The media portrays a lot of celebrities as the bad guy. But [Brown] put me on, so it goes to show where his heart is. He’s not the bad guy he’s portrayed as.”

Those initial achievements were just forerunners to Young Music cementing his name in history when he became the youngest DJ to join the Superadio Network. The deal expanded the maturing mogul’s reach to over 30 million weekly listeners.
As part of the arrangement, the DYMG Entertainment head hosts a daily one-hour mix show titled Streetz! Slow Lane. Think of it as a modern twist on the soulful “Quiet Storm” format.
“With me having a label, I have R&B artist Shade Jenifer. He had a ballad. But because of how the game is now, people don’t support ballads. It’s hard to get ballads played. I said, ‘What happened to the slow jams?’” asserts Young Music. “With Streetz! Slow Lane, I’m hitting you with all types of stuff back-to-back. The pace of the show moves like a Hip Hop show.”
Even though Young was born in 1996, Streetz! Slow Lane covers vocalists that broke out before his conception all the way to present-day acts. A recent episode went from R. Kelly to Courtlin Jabrae to Diggy Simmons To Brandy.
As Rhythm & Blues fights its way back into the collective consciousness of the masses, Young Music is willing to be one of the genre’s fiercest advocates. In addition, DYMG’s Shade Jenifer is helping to bring attention to the musical tradition of James Brown, Michael Jackson, and Prince.
The effort is admirable, but Young is not naive to the fact his age group tends to favor the 2010’s era over older classics. The Streetz Representer also recognizes the music game tends to be cyclical, but as a curator, he can’t ignore what’s popular at the moment.
“Today’s new artists ain’t looking up to Jay Z and Nas. There looking up to Drake, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, and Lil Uzi. It’s just a new style, a new wave,” says Young. “A lot of people can’t get used to the new wave. I have a hard time too. The new wave is weird because it’s just beats and people mumbling. At the end of the day, you have to adjust to it.”
With the internet, Millennials’ musical adjustments happen as quickly as it takes to post a tweet. Young Music regularly views that switching of favorites through his work. Even though he is barely two years removed from walking the halls of his high school, Young is still forced to keep up with the latest hot songs that move the under-18 crowd when playing parties for current students.
Whereas at one time smash records were created from a top-down system, fans now have more control over which singles raise above the underground. Again, the DMV delegate makes it clear he has no issue following the will of the people, even if many contemporary sounds may be indistinguishable.
“As of today, it’s hard to recognize a hit, because somebody could mumble on a track and it could be the biggest thing in the world. Coming from a deejay perspective, if everybody else thinks it’s hot, I’m going to go with whatever is trending,” Young explains.
“Pull Up On The Block” featuring iLoveMemphis as well as “Right Here” featuring Frank Benz and Da-Rai are part of DJYM’s own catalog. Plus, he has the Something For The Streets mixtapes.
The next volume in the series is expected to consist of original music from major artists. Young Music describes Something For The Streets as his version of DJ Drama’s famous tapes.
“Something For The Streets is like the new wave of Gangsta Grillz mixtapes. It’s one of those things that really hasn’t been done since Gangsta Grillz mixtapes,” contends Young.
The next several years will see the Live Nation/Scream Nation Mad DJ Of The DMV champion expand his growing entertainment empire to encompass films and non-profit initiatives. Young established the youth-centered Streetz Stop The Violence organization in part as a response to the murder of his friend and up-and-coming DC rapper Douglas “Swipey” Brooks.
Many of Swipey’s DMV comrades sent out condolences on social media, a sign the city’s Hip Hop community is supportive of each other. The 18-year-old rhymer’s death was a big blow to the region especially since it came at a time when DC-Maryland-Virginia rap is making the rest of the country take notice.
DJYM on The District’s talent, “The DMV music scene is the dopest it’s ever been in history. Everybody knows DC for Go-Go, but now DC has some dope rappers.”
Young is looking to help continue that artistic growth in the nation’s capitol. His ultimate goal is about more than just building personal capital.
“This right here is more than money to me. I do this to help other people. That’s success,” says Young Music. “When you have the power to put somebody in a position to change their whole life, that’s success. When you can wake up and press one button and make somebody rich, that’s what I see as success.”
He adds, “I decided to take this thing and change not just music, but change the world. You can only get so far in music. But when you’re changing the world and touching people, it’s a whole different level. It’s something that can’t be taken from you.”
(AllHipHop News) Hip Hop superstarsFuture and Drake connected once again for the new song “Used To This.”
It comes as no surprise that “Used To This” collected over 1 million views on YouTube in one day.
The track was devised by super-producer and regular Future collaborator Zaytoven.
“It feels good to get a smash record with someone you’ve been working with before they blew up and then again after they’re at one of the highest points of their career,” Zaytoven tells AllHipHop.com.
He continues, “It makes me feel proud because I believed from the start, and to witness all that he’s accomplished since like ’06 – ’07, it’s a real testament to the talent.”
Besides “Used To This,” the union of the two Atlanta residents resulted in previous hits such as “Real Sisters” and “Lay Up.”
Both of those cuts appeared on 2015’s Beast Mode, the Future mixtape featuring production created entirely by Zaytoven.
Fans should be on the look out for another full body of work from Future in the coming months.
For Zay, his signature sound will also appear on an upcoming Gucci Mane project
The veteran beat maker and the Brick Squadrhymer have been building together for over a decade.
In addition, Zaytoven and Gucci recently shared the stage at the 2016 BET Hip-Hop Awards as well as the “Gucci & Friends” homecoming concert.

The group was onstage accepting the Best Song honor when organizers revealed the trophy belonged to MC Abra Cadabra for his “Robbery” remix.
“Of the many worthy winners of Best Song, we deeply regret a mistake was made,” the event bosses said in a statement, blaming a “production error” for the embarrassing moment.
WSTRN didn’t go home empty handed, however – they picked up the Best Newcomer award.

(AllHipHop News) Fans of Jay Z received a special surprise during the rap star’s visit to Cleveland last night (November 4) in support of presidential hopeful, Hillary Clinton.
“Our soul is colorless and I wanna grow up in a world where our daughter has no limitations, she feel like she can be whatever she wanna be in the world,” Jay Z said. “And this other guy, I don’t have any ill will towards him, but his conversation is devicise. And that’s not an evolved soul to me. So He cannot be my president. He cannot be our president. Once you divide us, you weaken us. We’re stronger together. “
Jay brought out his superstar wife Beyonce during an evening that featured artists like Big Sean, J. Cole and Chance the Rapper.
Beyonce hopped on the stage at the “Get-Out-The-Vote” to encourage those in attendance at the free concert to go out and vote in the upcoming election on November 8.
“We have to think about the future of our daughters, our sons, and vote for someone who cares for them as much as we do and that is why I’m with her,” Beyonce told the crowd during a set that featured songs like “Freedom” and “Girls (Who Run the World).”
Jay and Beyonce were later joined by Hillary Clinton, who paraded around the stage with the famous rapper as his wife’s#### single “Formation” played in the background.

(AllHipHop Rumors) Love & Hip Hop New York star Mendeecees took a huge hit when he was sentenced to an eight year sentence behind drug-related charges in upstate New York.
Although Mendeecees struck a plea deal, he still had to turn in his Love & Hip Hop checks, luxury vehicles, money earned for personal entertainment appearances, pay up to a $5 million fine, and be taken away from his family.
According to Bossip, Mendeecees has now filed papers asking the judge to cut his sentence by three years as he believes he’s made some big strides in the right direction while being locked up.
Mendeecees was originally sentenced to 10 years. The prosecution was fine with nine years, but the judge must’ve been feeling generous by sentencing him to only eight years.
When people get locked up, they get really creative with their get-out-of-jail early schemes, so we really aren’t mad at Mendeecees for this one.
Mendeecees had his lawyer file a motion to cut his sentence so that he can use his celebrity to teach the youth about the consequences and dangers of drug related lifestyles.
Good luck Mendeecees! The judge will rule later this month.
