Love & Hip Hop’s Mendeecees Is Trying A Unique Approach To Getting His Sentence Reduced

(AllHipHop Rumors) Love & Hip Hop New York star Mendeecees took a huge hit when he was sentenced to an eight year sentence behind drug-related charges in upstate New York.

Although Mendeecees struck a plea deal, he still had to turn in his Love & Hip Hop checks, luxury vehicles, money earned for personal entertainment appearances, pay up to a $5 million fine, and be taken away from his family.

According to Bossip, Mendeecees has now filed papers asking the judge to cut his sentence by three years as he believes he’s made some big strides in the right direction while being locked up.

Mendeecees was originally sentenced to 10 years. The prosecution was fine with nine years, but the judge must’ve been feeling generous by sentencing him to only eight years.

When people get locked up, they get really creative with their get-out-of-jail early schemes, so we really aren’t mad at Mendeecees for this one.

Mendeecees had his lawyer file a motion to cut his sentence so that he can use his celebrity to teach the youth about the consequences and dangers of drug related lifestyles.

Good luck Mendeecees! The judge will rule later this month.

Rumor has is that the NY rapper has a secret girlfriend…. none other than model/DJ, Tori Brixx.

The 22-year-old model is signed under Amber Rose’s MUVA management.

Interestingly enough, since Young M.A. hit the scene, a lot of women have been coming out as gay, bisexual, or bi-curious, lusting for M.A. M.A. raps that she keeps an eight inch in the closet for ’em, but I digress.

Tori posted a photo of a stuffed animal from her “babe” on the gram, and fans noticed that Young M.A. was tagged and all in her comments.

Guess Which President Uncle Luke Blames For Messing Up The Music Industry?

Well, we know who Uncle Luke WON’T be voting for!!!

Uncle Luke certainly won’t be voting for Hillary Clinton, and he wasted no time letting the world know that he dislikes her husband, former President, Bill Clinton as well.

According to Uncle Luke, Bill Clinton ruined the music industry.

Perhaps Uncle Luke is most bothered by the Telecommunications Act of 1996 and various FCC bans. It seems that the act was supposed to just foster competition, but it actually just led to a drastic decline in the number of radio station owners and an increase in stations. The decline in owners seemed to make radio lose it’s individuality, and programming became similar across all formats, therefore local music couldn’t thrive.

Perhaps Luke is mad with Bill for passing legislation that ended balanced radio programming.

All I know is Luke you better not be voting for Trump! LOL.

Lil Wayne Tried To Stop Broadcast Of His Anti Black Lives Matter Movement On “Nightline”

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Lil Wayne reportedly tried to stop the broadcast of his Nightline interview, in which he made controversial comments about the Black Lives Matter movement.

The “Lollipop” star hit headlines earlier this week when he said in an interview on the U.S. news show that he doesn’t feel connected to the racial justice campaign, before cutting the talk short and walking out.

It has now been reported his team tried to get the interview pulled from broadcast and sent several emails to executives at ABC News asking for it to be buried, but they never responded, according to TMZ.com.

He allegedly claims interviewer Linsey Davis pushed him too far by asking questions that weren’t okayed beforehand, but a representative for ABC News says nothing in the chat was pre-approved.

“When it came to the questions and the topics of the interview nothing was off limits,” they said.

The rapper, who reportedly fired his publicists after it aired, told Davis on the Tuesday show, “I don’t feel connected to a d##n thing that ain’t got nothin’ to do with me (sic),” and as he walked out he said, “I ain’t no f##king politician.”

He has since apologized for his comments, confessing he had been angered by earlier questions about his daughters, when Davis asked if he would appreciate them being called “b##ch”, or other terms for women he uses in his songs.

“When the reporter began asking me questions about my daughter being labeled a b##ch and a h##, I got agitated,” he told TMZ. “From there, there was no thought put into her questions and my responses…. Apologies to anyone who was offended.”

Meanwhile, rapper Jeezy was asked to respond to Lil Wayne’s comment during an interview on New York radio station Hot 97 and said that while he wouldn’t defend them, maybe Wayne couldn’t connect to it because of his fame and money.

“(Wayne) might not be connected on that level. It is difficult because he’s been rich for a long time,” he said. “He’s been living on his own island for a long time. Maybe it’s something he just don’t see (sic).”

Joe Budden Talks Being A Fan Of Meek Mill’s Music, Blames Media For Their Feud (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) The most talked about rap battle of 2015 was between Drake and Meek Mill.

However, prior to that infamous back-and-forth, Meek was engaged in a feud with Joe Budden weeks before.

The bad blood began when Budden criticized Meek’s behavior toward his girlfriend Nicki Minaj at the 2015 BET Awards.

“Meek’s music is too hard for me to look at him with this f-cking sappy f-ck sh-t. Be the hardcore guy that I’m sure she was attracted to at some point. It’s nasty. I hate everything about it,” stated Budden on his podcast at the time. “I’m glad a dark-skinned guy is behaving this way. Light-skinned n-ggas, we’re not moving like that.”

The New Jersey native recently sat down with Angie Martinez and shared he actually enjoys Meek Mill’s new project DC4.

“I am a fan. I blame media for blowing that type of stuff up,” said Budden referring to his public conflict with Meek. “I’m totally able to have verbal disputes with emcees and be a fan of their music. So I like Meek’s album.”

The Slaughterhouse member added, “The music I heard is what we want from Meek.”

While the two rap stars were still bashing each other this past summer, Budden claimed he currently has no issues with Meek or anyone else he once had tension with like Lloyd Banks, The Game, 50 Cent, and Drake.

“I’m in a real good place,” Budden declared. “You would hope that emcees, rappers, or just artists period are able to grow and not have grudges that span over the length of ten years. I think that’s good people are able to mature in Hip Hop that way.”

G Herbo To Release Joint Project With Producer Southside (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Another rapper-producer collaborative effort is on the way.

G Herbo was a guest on The Breakfast Club, and the Chicago spitter discussed teaming up with Atlanta producer Southside.

“I’m dropping an EP next week called Strictly For My Fans. That was something I just put together to show a token of my appreciation for the fans,” said Herbo. “Then I got a project coming with Southside, an album we’re gonna drop.”

He continued, “Then my [solo] debut album, Humble Beast. I don’t really have a date because I have so much that I’m working on.”

The “Lord Knows” rhymer also revealed he currently has over 150 songs recorded.

His year-long break from dropping a body of work is set to come to an end, and Herbo explained the hiatus to Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha God, and DJ Envy.

“It’s all about timing for me. I want to be remembered. I want to be legendary,” stated the Cinematic Music Group representative. “I don’t want nobody to say, ‘Herb dropped this music and that sh*t was alright. He ain’t put his time into that. That ain’t the Herb I know.’ I think about that.”

In 2015, Herbo releasedBallin Like I’m Kobe. The mixtape featured Southside producing the track “Rollin.”

Southside’s production discography also includes work with Jay Z, Kanye West, Drake, Future, Meek Mill, Waka Flocka Flame, and more.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian Let Bodyguard Go After Paris Robbery

(AllHipHop News) Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have let go of their main bodyguard, Pascal Duvier, following the reality star’s armed robbery ordeal in Paris, France a month ago.

Multiple sources tell news show Entertainment Tonight the 43-year-old’s departure is part of a security shake-up following the incident, during which Kim was bound and gagged in the bathroom of her apartment.

Duvier has been by Kim’s side since 2013, and with Kanye since 2012, and both valued his security advice and service.

After protecting Kardashian from a bum-pinching prankster in Paris days before her robbery ordeal, Kim praised the minder by calling him a “G (gangster)” on social media.

Duvier was taking care of her sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner elsewhere in the city as they enjoyed a night out when thugs raided Kim’s Paris pad.

“Pascal, along with a couple other security members of their team, were recently let go by Kim and Kanye,” a source tells Entertainment Tonight. “It’s a pretty tough situation overall and they love Pascal, but they couldn’t take any more chances.

“Kim and Kanye are reassessing their security detail now. Kanye is freaking out – this really threw him for a loop. There will be a lot of things that change now in terms of security, especially with the children.”

But the hotel concierge who was held at gunpoint alongside Kim recently insisted there was little Duvier would have been able to do if he was with Kim when she was attacked.

“They have guns, you can’t move,” he told ET last month. “He can’t do anything. He can’t.”

The staff member also revealed that a call from Duvier may have ended the robbery abruptly.

“When her (Kim’s) phone rang, I take it and saw Pascal – the name of the bodyguard – and I told the guy, ‘You know who is calling now? He is her bodyguard, and if she didn’t answer him now, he will come with police (sic)’.”

Duvier won’t be short of high-profile clients for long – his past celebrity roster includes Ciara, David Guetta and Frank Ocean.
