The Internet Wants To Protect Sade From Drake!

(AllHipHop Rumors) Now listen Drake! We won’t have you interfering with Sade and all of her magic.

The love and lust for the great Sade still runs deep. It seems apparent that Drake loves his cougars and the greats. We aren’t even mad at Drizzy though. We’ve all had a hit list of our dream men and women we’d like to get, he’s just at a better position to actually get them and get to them.

For years Sade has seemed to be a recluse, but I guess when you are one of the hottest artists of today, you can get her to come out. Well the internet hasn’t forgotten Drake’s reputation for loving women and allegedly leaving them. See Serena Williams, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, and more. LOL.

With this said, the internet made it their duty to start a campaign to protect the goddess.

People already think Drake smashed J. Lo to get her to clear a sample, so you know we aren’t gonna let the 6 God do anything to Sade. LOL.

When people saw Sade trending on Twitter, they started to think something bad happened to her, or that she’d passed away. When they found out that she was Trending because of Drake, folks begin to go in. LOL. Check out some of the comments below.

Master P Adds More A-List Talent to His Biopic

(AllHipHop News) Rap veteran Master P is moving forward with plans to turn his life story into a film, two years after casting Queen Latifah in the project.

The No Limit Records founder previously announced in 2015 he had co-written the biopic, titled “King of the South,” which would detail his journey from a life of poverty in New Orleans, Louisiana to becoming a successful music mogul.

At the time, he tapped Chicago star Latifah to play his mother, and now Master P has revealed the movie will finally begin production this summer with The Wire’s Wendell Pierce also coming onboard the project.

“The timing is right for me to tell my story,” the hip-hop veteran shares in a statement. “It was tough back then especially being from the South, New Orleans was the murder capital at the time. I want others to learn from my mistakes and understand my work ethic of never giving up, no matter what it may look like. If you believe in yourself, keep your faith in God strong and stay close to your family, you can accomplish anything. Life is about choices, there’s no limit to your success if you work hard.”

Latifah’s production partner Shakim Compere adds, “We have so much respect for what P has done in the game, we want to help make sure that his story is told authentically with A-list talent.

“This is a great role for Queen Latifah. Master P had an amazing story and has broken a lot of barriers in hip-hop, paving the way for artists to make real money. King of the South is a real rags to riches story where moviegoers will leave the theaters inspired.”

Master P, real name Percy Miller, wants to include as many actors from his hometown in the film, and will be holding open auditions for New Orleans natives on April 4 in Gretna, Louisiana.

Director Of Snoop Dogg’s “Lavender” Video Hacked By Trump Supporters

(AllHipHop News) YouTuber Jesse Wellens directed Snoop Dogg’s video for “Lavender” remix which caused quite a stir.

In the music video, there is the theme of deportation and a person looking very similar to Donald Trump in a clown outfit. Snoop Dogg shoots the clown with a fake gun that shot out a sign that said “BANG!” cartoon style instead of a bullet.

This outraged Trump which upset Bow Wow and TI that set social media on fire on March 15.

On March 19, it was found that Jesse Wellens’ website redirected to Trump’s official site.

He claims he “click baited the President.” He tweeted that “art is made to start a discussion. I think the world had a needed talk.”

Last year, Wellen inked a deal with talent agency WME and is working on a number of other projects.

As of press time, JesseWellens.com was still being directed to Donald Trump’s official website.

Numerous politicians, including president Donald Trump himself, have condemned Snoop’s “Lavender” video.

One Fox News host named Kimberly Guilfoyle even called for the rapper to be killed.

Lil Wayne Addresses The “Bullsh-t” With Cash Money & Birdman During SXSW Show (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Rick Ross may have been the person to once again ignite the public conversation around Lil Wayne’s business struggles with Cash Money Records, but Wayne shared his own thoughts about the controversy too.

During the Mass Appeal show at the SXSW Festival, the Young Money leader blasted CMR and its co-founder Birdman.

“I am going through some bullsh-t with my motherf-cking career and n-ggas is trying to steer my career without letting me do or say a damn thing,” Wayne told the crowd in Austin, Texas.

The “No Worries” rapper added, “If you think that I am stressing or letting this sh-t get to me, please remember, there’s too much good p-ssy and too many great mothef-cking loyal fans to worry about bullsh-t ass Birdman.”

Wayne has been seeking back compensation for years worth of musical work released via Cash Money.

On his new album Rather You Than Me, Ross called out Birdman’s business tactics in defense of Wayne as well as We The Best’s DJ Khaled.

Rozay also expressed his respect and love for Wayne via Instagram.

Wayne then tweeted his appreciation for Rozay’s message.

Rick Ross Talks Donald Trump, Birdman, Drake & Meek Mill

(AllHipHop News) Rick Ross covered a lot of topics on his new album Rather You Than Me.

Among the subjects on the new project, the Maybach Music Group boss made references to some of his rap peers such as Birdman, Lil Wayne, Drake, and Meek Mill.

The LP’s opening track, “Apple of My Eye,” also mentioned Donald Trump.

Billboard caught up with Ross to ask the Hip Hop star about some of the various matters presented on Rather You Than Me.

On rapping “I’m happy that Donald Trump became the president because we have to destroy it to elevate”:

Most definitely. This is the bottom. We will start over after this. I think that particular line, a lot of young brothers who haven’t really put a finger on how they feel about our new president, I think they needed to hear that line to get some form of understanding.

On Birdman’s legal battle with Lil Wayne:

Birdman is supposed to be in that f-cking building making those f-cking people give him money to take care of his man. They supposed to be in the f-cking [building], flipping over desks in those f-cking offices, fighting to get money. Not f-cking suing each other, fighting lawsuits and everybody starving. Not putting out music, not being creative. Us not doing what we came here for. There’s nothing more I hate than that — us not doing what we came here for.

On possibly making music again with Meek Mill’s rival Drake:

Well, we not talking about making music together. You know, we sat down and we had a conversation. And at the end of the day, the conversation was… What’s important to me is understanding we all are men. And let’s respect that first and foremost. One on one, that’s always clear with each other. I just sat down with both parties at different times and just put that in the air and made sure.

Because I still don’t know what this is about. Just in my book, when you can’t put a finger on it, you know it ain’t no ‘G’ s–t. You know, you can look past it. I’m pretty sure they’ll both move forward because both parties are talking positive on different levels. So that’s what I’m looking forward to.

Held at 311 Club in the heart of Austin’s party district, the second annual South x Coalition Stage featured music by the Coalition DJs and a number of performing artists.

Rapper Quan Vito brought his original sound with “9213” and “New Thang” and had the crowd feeling his flavor along with Twan Da Dude and his team, who also proved to be another early crowd favorite.

While partying to non-stop performances, guests received Dutch Masters swag and took pictures with the lovely Dutch Masters spokesmodels.

It was a night that gave extra meaning to Dutch Masters’ trending hashtag #burnslow.

As each performer brought their own unique sound, things slowly escalated, and kept getting better.

Ace Hood raised the party up a notch by sending the crowd home feeling energized and knowing that they’d been at a show that delivered great music in a cozy club atmosphere, and motivated to burn slow.

I also have a responsibility to my children to take the opportunities afforded to me and create the strongest legacy possible for them. Lastly, I believe when you’re in a position to give back and create opportunities for other people, you have to, so I make it a point to mentor or just lend an ear to young people who aspire to work in the music industry, whenever I can. I wholeheartedly believe in the saying “to whom much is given much is required”.

Big Sean Grooming Entrepreneurs With “Mogul Prep”

(AllHipHop News)
Big Sean and his mom have launched Mogul Prep, an education program they started to help teach inner city youths about what it takes to break into the music industry.

Big Sean personally leads intimate sized workshops for middle and high school students in four select cities.

He wants to teach kids that you don’t necessarily have to be a rapper in order to be in the music industry.

There are other jobs like “business managers, publishers, publicists, agents, booking agents, creative directors, lighting technicians, sound guys” that are necessary in the music business that students do not learn in school, Big Sean explained in an interview with Rolling Stone.

Mogul Prep is the most recent initiative from The Sean Anderson Foundation, which he launched in 2012 with his mother, and former middle school teacher, Myra Anderson.

“That’s the point that these kids need to see: You can still be in the music industry and not necessarily be a performer,” Big Sean said.

Will Drake Fall Off After ‘More Life’?

(AllHipHop Rumors) That Joe Budden is one opinionated rapper!

As Drake’s newly released ‘More Life’ album has been well received, talks of Drake falling off after ‘More Life’ seemingly sparked by comments made previously by Joe Budden resurfaced. Joe Budden wondered how long Drake’s career would go, and predicted that he may fall off after ‘More Life.’

Most feel that there isn’t any pressure on Drake right now, and he probably will have longevity no matter what he puts out in the future.

Drake faced a lot of criticism on his ‘Views’ album, as some felt despite the fact that it did numbers, it wasn’t stellar, and it sounded like a typical Drake album. Some even argued that his previous material was hotter.

In your opinion how is ‘More Life’ sounding to you? Is it better than ‘Views’? Does he have a classic album yet? Will he fall off after ‘More Life’? Is Drake putting out mediocre music? Can Drake ever fall off or is failing impossible for him?!

Casanova Tells The Story Of A$AP Rocky Having To Fight While Locked Up At Rikers Island (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Casanova is becoming one of the leading new voices emerging from New York City.

The Brooklyn native gained traction with his “Don’t Run” track, and he signed to Memphis Bleek’s Warehouse Music Group.

Casanova also made headlines when A$AP Rocky spoke about how the fellow New Yorker helped him during his 2-week stint in jail at Rikers Island as a teenager.

During a sit down with The Breakfast Club, Casanova gave his side of the Rikers story.

“He was in the bullpen, this was before he was A$AP. I just looked at him and he looked stressed,” recalled the Flatbush-bred artist. “I had my Air Max on and some Diesels. He was like, ‘Yo, where’d you get those sneakers. They took mine.’ I was like, ‘I’ve been through this like four times. How you doing? You alright?'”

Casanova went on to talk about giving Rocky advice on how to survive behind bars.

According to Cas, there’s an unwritten rule at Rikers that causes inmates not to sit on the “iron horse” table or in another inmate’s chair.

“So I’m standing up eating my food, just looking at everybody. A$AP sits down. I say, ‘Get up. Don’t sit on that. Come on,'” explained the Be Safe Tho mixtape creator. “He got into an altercation over soup or something, and he was flexing. He was arguing with son.”

Casanova stated how Rocky was then surrounded by several men before he stepped up to block the 16-year-old from getting jumped.

“[I said,] ‘None of y’all not touching him. He’s gonna go in there and have a fight,” said the rhymer. “He goes out. He put in work… He won. That’s how I knew I could f-ck with him after that.”

The two East Coast rappers re-connected years later after A$AP Rocky became a chart-topping peformer.
