Never get 50 Cent drunk! 50 Cent recently sat down with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN for their Drink Champs podcast, and let’s just say 50 still hasn’t found his chill!
50 already attacked Puffy earlier this week when he said Puff has no recent hits while making an appearance in Scottsdale, Arizona.
When 50 Cent was a guest on the Drink Champs podcast he says Diddy tried to take him shopping and even offered to pay for it when they both attended Chris Lighty’s wedding. 50 Cent even went as far as calling Puff a fruit pie.
“N-gga asked me could he take me shopping and it f-cked me up. I was like what the f-ck did this n-gga just say.”
50 claims that all that he says is true, but people won’t receive it because the truth hurts. Someone take the Effen vodka away!
(AllHipHop News) The President of the United States has the power of clemency which allows the office to pardon people in prison for federal crimes.
Convicted drug trafficker and gang leader Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff is asking President Barack Obama to allow him to at least face a new trial.
Global Grind posted a letter from the alleged head of the Queens-based Supreme Team.
The associate of Murder Inc’s Irv Gotti and the subject of 50 Cent’s controversial “Ghetto Qu’ran” song argued he was denied his constitutional rights because he was not allowed to testify at his own trial.
“I offered my life in exchange for my right to testify and was denied that right by my lawyer David Ruhnke, simply because he didn’t believe what I told him,” McGriff wrote.
He added, “Mr. President I implore you to correct this gross miscarriage of justice with a stroke of your pen. My true request is to be restored to my proper place in the legal process before my Constitutional right to testify was violated. To restore my guaranteed right to prove my innocence. My testimony is vital to my defense and only I can attest to the truth.”
McGriff is currently serving a life sentence for a $50,000 murder-for-hire plot. In 2001, Eric “E-Money Bags” Smith and Troy “Big Nose” Singleton were killed, and a New York jury convicted Supreme of being part of the murder conspiracy connected to their deaths.

Chi-town is a special kind of city. From Montana Of 300 and Sir The Baptist, to Chance The Rapper and Kanye to Barack Obama, the windy city has been cranking out new talent left and right for the last decade and change. Right in that pocket is newcomer Dreezy.
The baby-faced spitter has been killing on her come up, even being picked to perform at The VH-1 Hip-Hop honors on behalf of Salt-N-Pepa.
With the new album No Hard Feelings on deck, Dreezy sat with AHH’s Mr. Mecc to talk Hip-Hop, police stops and growing up a girl in the Chi.
Perhaps Nas needed to remind people why he is one of the greatest ever. Well, guess what? Nas’s album is done and it looks like it is going to be wonderful if the song “Nas Album Done” is any indication. We have to thank DJ Khaled for this one, as he managed to get Esco on the song and clear that iconic sample from Lauryn Hill. The song hits as Khaled’s album Major Key drops on all platforms.
Nas’s last album, Life Is Good, hit in 2012. The waiting truly stars now.

(AllHipHop News) The Art of Rap Festival continues to traverse the country and will touch down on New York tomorrow, July 29th in Brooklyn. The festival features Hip-Hop gods like Ice-T, Public Enemy, EPMD, Mobb Deep, Grandmaster Melle Mel and Scorpio, MC Lyte, Kurtis Blow, The Sugarhill Gang and others.
The festival is rooted in Ice-T’s 2012 documentary, Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap. The tour has already hit Las Vegas and San Francisco. It wraps up on August 6 in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
(AllHipHop Features) Over the last 20 years, Nick “Murs” Carter has established himself as one of Hip Hop’s brightest visionaries.
As an emcee, he has a catalog that includes standout solo efforts as well as acclaimed collaborative projects with 9th Wonder, Fashawn, ¡Mayday!, and others. As a promoter, he helped shine a light on the culture through the popular Paid Dues festival and tour.
Murs is now tackling the position of talk show host. The Los Angeles-bred entertainer is the face of the new digital series Where You At? L.A.
The live Hip Hop program launched on July 13. Murs and his partners fully embraced the current landscape for consuming media content by broadcasting the series on Boost Mobile’s Twitter and Facebook accounts.
The most recent episode aired last night (July 27) with appearances by West Coast representatives DJ Quik, B-Real, Problem, and Mike G of Odd Future. Previously, Murs sat down with Dame Dash, Casey Veggies, and Reverie.
Three more installments are scheduled to run August 17, September 7, and September 28. The final Los Angeles show will feature Murs attempting to set a new world record. Viewers will have the chance to watch the Strange Music signee try his hand at rapping for 24 hours.
I caught up with Murs prior to the airing of Where You At? L.A. episode two, and the Have A Nice Life LP creator spoke about his new gig and more.
How did you come up with the concept for Where You At?
The original concept was from my man Jay [Lledo] at the 180LA ad agency. We developed it together from there with Boost Mobile’s involvement. With them being the type of partner that’s open to doing real sh-t, they gave us a lot of latitude.
Jay said, “We want to do something like [Rap City’] Tha Basement with freestyling, just creating a real Hip Hop show.” There’s a huge void for it. It was an investment in the culture. There’s no real rap show on network TV. Though network TV is a thing of the past now with live streaming.
You guys decided to broadcast the show through social media. What led to the decision behind using Facebook, Snapchat, and Periscope?
I think it’s to give the viewer more participation. I started playing video games on my Twitch channel, and it’s fun to interact with the fans. I think that’s what the new fans want.
The questions that are coming in for the artists are actually coming from the fans, instead of me coming with a list of preset questions that could be generic or questions everyone’s heard before. The fans feel like they’re getting to kick it with their favorite artist.
It’s also to advertise Boost Mobile’s unlimited music streaming. So why not stream the show? And it’s all filmed on Boost Mobile devices. It feels more organic and natural. It’s the newest craze.
How does it feel being on the other side of the media?
The fans help out a lot. But I like it because I’ve always been a fan first. I’m a fan of good Hip Hop journalism.
I read a lot of Hip Hop journalism growing up and a lot of the OG blogs, before it became everybody and their mom had a blog. The people who originally got into online journalism were real students of the craft. It’s rare.
I think I qualify because I’m a fan of Hip Hop journalism. I take it seriously. Plus, being on both sides, I have a unique perspective.
Why are you guys only doing five shows?
Even most TV shows get a start. But we’ve definitely talked about doing Where You At LA?, Where You At New York?, Where You At Atlanta?, and Where You At Midwest? There are many sections of the culture to uncover. It’s really up to the fans. I know Boost is into it.
We’re also reaching the level where the corporate sponsors are heads, and they love Hip Hop as much as you or I do. So they want to see it continue. We quadrupled the amount of audience invites this time. So it’s growing, and I hope it is more than five episodes.
You’ve had some great Los Angeles based guests on the program. What has been the process for booking the artists? Are these people that you knew and just asked to come on?
It’s from my days of doing Paid Dues and being a fixture in the community. I saw Mike G at a video game tournament. I ran into Problem at the same tournament.
I told them, “Yo, I’m doing this thing. You want to come through?” Most people’s initial reaction is, “Yeah, for sure. Whatever you need Murs.”
I called up Casey Veggies and asked, “What are you doing?” He said, “I got a birthday dinner, but for you bro, I’ll come through. Just let me know.”
You mentioned Paid Dues. I know you’ve said it’s “highly unlikely” the festival is going to return. But now that you have this relationship with Boost Mobile, is it possible that you may do the festival again in the future?
I never thought about that. I should ask Boost. You know what? That’s so crazy cause I never really thought about it. [laughs] Good idea.
I don’t know. I haven’t explored that possibility. Honestly, wrangling all these artists remind me of the ups-and-downs of what a pain in the ass it can be to get rappers to show up at one place at one time. And how fun it is when you pull it off.
If this Where You At? series takes off, I might just do this instead for a little while. To do that, Paid Dues, being a rapper, streaming video games, and being a dad is kicking my ass. It’s all for the love though.
Are you working on another solo project?
Yeah, I postponed everything to get the video game streaming off, getting my son into school, and then I’ve got this 24-hour rap marathon to do as well.
I’ve been writing and recording for a new record. Right after finishing the marathon, I’m going in and recording a record.
I want to turn it in by November, and hopefully sometime early next year the new album will be out. I got a lot to say. There’s a lot going on in the world and in Hip Hop.
How has it been working with Tech N9ne and Strange Music?
I’ve learned a lot. I’ve come in contact with a lot of new fans. I’ve gotten to tour with Tech. I’ve been able to be with him every day and see how much time, effort, energy, and love goes into what he does.
It was humbling to see. And Krizz Kaliko too. They have the best live show in music to me, definitely in Hip Hop.
So seeing the work and the pride they put into their music was inspiring. I took a lot of notes. Also being around Travis [O’Guin] and the rest of the Strange Music staff is always great business wise.
Going back to the show, you talked about wanting to set this record for the longest freestyle. How are you planning to maintain rhyming for that long? Have you thought about how you’re going to accomplish this feat?
It’s not going to be a freestyle. I’ll leave that to the champion, Supernatural. It’s going to be like rap karaoke. I’m going to do some of my own songs, some songs from my new album that no one’s heard yet, and some songs that I never put out that I really like.
I’m going to be doing some N.W.A, some Wu-Tang, some Tag Team, and Kool Keith. Every rapper I ever heard – I’m going to try to say [their lyrics] within that 24 hours. And then maybe some freestyles on top of that.
I want it to be entertaining. I don’t got the bars like that to make freestyle entertaining for 24 hours. So I’m going to do me and have fun. It’s about my love for Hip Hop culture in general.
It should be funny with me jumping around, screaming, getting delirious, hungry, and tired, peeing on myself probably. Who knows? Tune in, it’ll be the first time in your life you’ll go to sleep seeing somebody rapping and wake up and they’re still rapping.
It should be entertaining. It seems like you’re doing it as an homage to the culture.
I love it. That’s the way it came up. I was like, “What can we do to emphasize that?” I always do covers during my set, and a lot of people are doing covers. It’s important that we show love to one another.
The emcee is always, “Me, me, me, me, me.” I wanted to do something else. I’m going to try to learn the words to “Panda” as well. That will be hilarious.
Good luck with that. [laughs]
At least if I mess up nobody will be able to tell but Desiigner. [laughs]
(AllHipHop News) Kanye West has compared Kim Kardashian not sharing her nude selfies to Adele not singing.
The 35-year-old reality star is known for sharing sexy naked snaps of herself, with a picture she shared on Instagram back in March causing a global furor.
While stars including Chloe Grace Moretz and Bette Midler slammed Kim at the time for baring all (bar censor strips) for the shot, one person who fully supports Kim making the pictures public is her husband, rapper Kanye.
“I love her nude selfies. Like, I love the ones from the side, the back ones, and the front. I just love seeing her naked; I love nudity,” he told Harper’s Bazaarmagazine. “And I love beautiful shapes. I feel like it’s almost a Renaissance thing, a painting, a modern version of a painting. I think it’s important for Kim to have her figure. To not show it would be like Adele not singing.”
The interview was accompanied by several new snaps of Kim and Kanye, including one of the musician using his cell phone to take a picture of his wife, who is laying seductively on the bed.
The couple were also asked what part of each other’s bodies they love the most, with both answering separately the other’s heart. Kim added: “And I’ve always loved his legs.”
Kanye, 39, is no stranger to causing controversy on the Internet either, and has hit headlines in the past for various feuds on Twitter.
However, he insists that one of the major misconceptions the public has about him is that he contemplates these remarks before he makes them.
“I actually don’t like thinking,” he said. “I think people think I like to think a lot. And I don’t. I do not like to think at all.”
Kanye was also asked to describe his mindset in his approach to life, to which he answered: “I’m a mix of a 14-year-old high schooler and a 60-year-old guy. It can never fall into the 30s or the 40s. It has to be 100 per cent 60 or 100 per cent 14, no in between.”

(AllHipHop News) Straight Outta Compton star O’Shea Jackson Jr. was tapped to participate in a Black Lives Matter panel discussion presented by The Spotlight L.A’s Milana Nikkie and Carlton Epic and curated by CelebsWork.
“Once that common goal is found, that’s when you can start piecing things together. Straight Outta Compton is just about five friends who all had the same idea who put it together,” said Jackson. “Just five dudes changed the world. Just imagine what 15, 30, 60 people could do.”
Aileen Briones, founder of CelebsWork, served as moderator for the Spotlight LA Takeover 2016 event.
Black Lives Matter L.A Chapter leader Funmilola Fagbamila, CEO/founder of Brand Maverick Entertainment Steven Jones, and comedian Juhahn Jones were also part of the BLM conversation.
“With social media and celebrities… you have to use that light because you never know who’s listening or paying attention,” Jackson added. “There’s people here right now, and I’m sure everybody hears me, but I don’t know how many people are listening. And the people who listen are the people who are affected.”

(AllHipHop News) YG was the subject of numerous headlines after he and Nipsey Hussle dropped “FDT (F-ck Donald Trump).”
The Compton spitter is hitting the Republican presidential nominee once again. This time, YG recruited Macklemore and G-Eazy for “F-ck Donald Trump Part 2.”
The Still Brazy album creator did an interview with i-D where he talked about working with the two Caucasian rhymers.
YG said:
They’re the two biggest white rappers in the game! I’m like, if I get two of the biggest white rap dudes in the game on this “F-ck Donald Trump” record, that sh-t is gonna mean something. Before Macklemore was on “Part 2” he said like, “Good sh-t bro, that sh-t was needed,” about the first song. So I was like, “Bro, you support Trump?” and he was like “F-ck no!” I’m like, “Well look, I’m doing this remix and I want you to hop on it. It’s actually with G-Eazy.” And he was like, “I got you, send that sh-t.” That’s just the rap community. Everybody know that’s where this rap sh-t started from: talking about problems and what’s going on in inner city communities.
In addition, YG addressed the impact of protesting:
As people, we can come together and we can protest, but honestly, that sh-t probably ain’t going to change. We’ve gotta figure out who’s behind the scenes, who will lead the people, and how we’re going to get to them. Black people are painted as beefing with each other and killing each other, and that’s why I think [police and politicians] think they can get away with so much sh-t — cause we do f-cked up sh-t to our own kind. So when we come together in protest, that really means something. It’s powerful. But, is that really going to make a difference with what’s going on? I don’t know, and that’s the truth. But it’s a start.
Listen to YG’s “FDT Part 2” featuring G-Eazy & Macklemore below.
Miami rapper Gill Graff has linked with Bernz on a new record titled “Clarity.”
The rappers decided to make the record because they believed it was time for a message to the people about a new wave of rappers getting further and further away from being true lyricists.
(AllHipHop News) Rapper/entrepreneur Rick Ross has changed the life of a homeless rapper by the name of Isa Muhammad, by signing him to Maybach Music Group.
Isa Muhammad recently approached Rick Ross on a street in Venice Beach, CA and spit a freestyle for the MMG founder.
While speculation of his status with the label has been growing since Isa’s encounter with Rick Ross, Rozay has confirmed the signing himself.
“This was something that I wasn’t expecting. This kid gave me his heart when he was spitting and the internet got a hold of the video I put up on my Snapchat,” Rick Ross told AllHipHop.com. ”I wanted to give an opportunity for someone else to be put on – I know so many people in his same position. MMG is about giving back and pushing the culture forward by finding new and real talent. Isa Muhammad will reflect quality rap music and MMG is going to make sure of that.”
Isa Muhammad is already in the studio putting down tracks for his Maybach Music Group debut album.
The video for his newest song “Chemtrails & Muslim Wars” has already surpassed over 150,000 listens in less than a month.

The DNC comes to a close tonight, but it was a pretty interesting week.
The week started out rough when DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz was forced to resign in an email hacking scandal allegedly perpetrated by the Russians.
But after moving speeches by Michelle Obama, VP Joe Biden, Bill Clinton and others, the mood lightened a little bit.
Some fans caught performances of Alicia Keys, while others took in a performance by Fergie. Other acts that were in town included Snoop Dogg, Ty Dolla $ign and Queen Latifah.
